I have an idea for a RP, or series of them that take place in the Grand Duke's court. It would be very social. There are plenty of roles for foreigners to be involved at court: diplomats and visiting nobility are the obvious choices, but there is also the possibility of other roles, from immigrants seeking employment at court, advisors, spies, celebrities, wealthy investors etc.
There would be different events, for the characters to react to. They would be small scale and low stakes (at least to outsiders), but would provide drama and the opportunity for character development. I am a big believer in character arcs.
I am also interested in working with a co op on this.

HRH Grandduke Ferdinand Albert II has no sons and two daughters. According to the house law, his brother Albert Maximilian is the next in line. . The Grand Duchy is a constitutional monarchy, but one that gives the monarch a large roll in the actual governing of the land. Ferdinand Albert II has taken mostly a hands off and back scenes role
Regarding the form of address, the Grand Duke is His Royal Highness and the rest of the family is Highness. This is usually reserved for formal settings or people who just met. Sir or Ma'am can also be used. Friends and family can use first names.
The capital is called Muenchenfurt am Floha. The Grand Ducal family live mostly in the Residence in the baroque Neustadt neighborhood. There are also a lot of villas and palaces there as well as the nearby Altstadt. The family also has some country estates. The Grand Duke is Lutheran, but his mother was catholic and his brother converted and became a priest.

Princess Louisa of Flohaland
24 years old and the oldest child of the current Grand Duke. Known for her seriousness, she is less popular as her younger sister, but less prone to scandal. In fact, she is criticized for being "too perfect." She has publicly stated several times that she is not disappointed in not being in line to inherit the throne. Many however think her mind could be changed, once the prospect becomes a possibility.
Princess Maximilia
Aged 17 is the youngest child of the Grand Duke. A typical second child, she often crosses the boundary on what is considered proper behavior for a princess. Some hope that she could become Grand Duchess as she is not only more liberal than her sister, but due to her youth, easier to control.
Prince Albert Maximilian
The Grand Duke's brother and heir presumptive. At 65 years of age he is 3 years younger than his brother. He has settled into his role as younger son, before it was considered likely that he would inherit. Actually the third son, his other brother Ludwig became a priest and renounced his rights. Albert Maximilian's popularity has varied a lot. As a young adult, he lived abroad and married a wealthy heiress. He returned to assist his brother in outing the fascists. Until a 15 years ago, he spent most of his time abroad. Now as the next in line to the throne, he works full time to support the Grand Duke in various functions. Albert Maximilian has a daughter. His son died in a tragic accident. He is rumored to have some illegitimate children, but nothing has been proven.
Prince Albert Maurice
The Grand Duke's cousin is 27 years old and third in line to the throne. He is being prepared to rule some day. His politics are unknown, but he is seen as youthful and more modern than his cousins. His Highness is an officer in the reserves and a member of the diplomatic corps.
