STERBLICHENGOKAI - Kenstas Kaivaano has confirmed that he will represent Tödlichebujoku in WorldVision 92, a full 10 editions after he had originally participated in Sinun Valintasi with a different arrangement of his song "Let You Go", originally with former entrant Váinö. Though that particular edition of Sinun Valintasi remains to be the first to not have the winner sent to WorldVision, it will now still have an impact on the nation's WorldVision record. Will it be a proper follow up to the recent successes of TKH and MXB? Or will it return the nation to its chronic late-WV80s mediocre mid-table finishes? Whatever happens, Mr. Kaivaano will likely not challenge Rei Pavro's position as second-worst placing act in Tödlichebujoki history, though of course even the best seers always advise caution.

The song is an English version of 'Sia prehiérë oltimë', the song that won the 60th Kalosian Song Festival. It was written amongst the background of the Covid-19 context, and the song is about a dying man who laments over his life and shares his regrets in his final moments.

Tentatively pre-confirming Saviera but I'm not sure if it will pull through as my capacity is currently limited, apologies in advance.

Another ElejamieVision had came and passed. Five songs were performed and were eventually judged by panels of foreign judges and by the voting public. After a long night, with eleven juries casting their votes and the domestic televotes being tallied up, a winner and second placer was revealed, along with a third placer whose journey isn't ending quite yet. Who are the lucky singers? Let's find out.

Full results will come when I get around to making the Domestic Televote thing.

Because it'd take me too long I'll skip a domestic televote for now and maybe edit one in later.

Estogium's 41st song into the WorldVision Song Contest will be sung by Daniel Ghant, who will sing the song, "Since Day One" hoping to improve on Estogium's poor results...

LISTEN TO "SINCE DAY ONE" HERE

Despite the initial hype behind the Estogian song, it failed to score as highly as the general Estogian public wanted. Though, RVC - the broadcaster which was responsible for previous top 3 finishes - is determined to get back up the leaderboard and make Estogium a country not to be reckoned with. "Estogium has lost its way," says a fan who was at The Big Reveal: Estogium, the television show which broadcasts the representative to the WorldVision Song Contest for the nation performing live for the first time. "We used to be in the top ten so much but ever since new nations joined and a patchy participation record, we haven't really succeeded - have we?" They go on to continue, "Especially with this new televote as well, it adds a new dynamic - can Estogium pull it off? I am sure! The next edition marks twenty contests since we hosted in The Estograd and of course 60 editions since our first participation. We haven't done well since the 70s, so it'd be great to have a good start before our anniversary celebrations. I think Daniel could help us out!"

Daniel Ghant is a 37-year-old from the capital city, Darlington who will represent the country with his song, "Since Day One" which sings about a memory that he had when he was a teenager with his recently-late mother and the time when he decided to move away from home. You learn about Daniel through the song; about his family life - or, well, the lack of it. Daniel's song is a heartfelt orchestral ballad with country elements and when performed on The Big Reveal: Estogium stage, he used minimalistic elements but really showed the beauty of what he was singing about. He said that these are the elements that he will bring to the stage for the 92nd WorldVision Song Contest.

The WorldVision Song Contest will be live on the 14th of August 2021 in a host city not yet decided.

Aenglide makes its debut into WorldVision with their selected song Deserted by Mittelgrad.

Mittelgrad is a viking rock band from our shores over here in Aenglide. The band is made up of three people. The lead singer Olav Higridsen Iyjov (pictured on the Left), the drummer Jovin Hakkenyja (pictured in the centre), and guitarist Markkus Mugerhau (pictured on the right).

The band from Lervyk will perform their song Deserted, which tells about a story about being lost and having nowhere to go, like losing something valuable in your life. This was a song that was very close and personal to Jovin Hakkenyja, the drummer in the band, as he lost his father to a battle with respiratory failure at a young age.

Their song Deserted, mainly features Aenglish, the spoken language of Aenglide, but features some English words in the chorus.

The last time Darkmania hosted Worldvision Song Contest was WSC67, held in the capital Örkendrem. Since then a lot of time has passed and there have been calls for DaTV to host again, it has been decided that DaTV will bid for a third time, the last time being a failed bid in WSC74.

The selected city is Anÿme, in order to promote Darkmania outside of the capital. DaTV is aware of the name might cause some giggling.

Anÿme is the 5th biggest city in Darkmania where 900 000 lives. The city is well known for its football team, its nightlife, and its zoo. Anÿme also hosts the 2nd biggest port in Darkmania in both cargo imports and in people transfers. It is the largest city in Darkmania without a metro line since their tram network works fine ~~aslong as you don't get hit by it.~~

The city is known as the "holiday-town of Darkmania". As written earlier, the zoo is one of the most. It is said that every Darkmanian visits the zoo at least once in their life. Due to the perfect location and their many attractions, there are actually more hotel rooms than there are homes and apartments combined

Anÿme Community Venue is located at the center of the city and has just opened. It was build in order to replace an aging venue that was at the same spot as "ACA" occupies today and can fill their 11.000 seats safely, 4000 more than the old one. The new venues have already have been used to host a tennis tournament, a venue used to host a political rally as well as several concerts. And now it is looking for their biggest event; hosting Worldvision Song Contest.

The stage is a cube with LCD screens on both the floor and the back wall and with some walls on the side walls. Pyro, smoke, props, and other things are also available to use aswell.¨
The stage also includes a catwalk and an island platform where three out of the four sides are surrounded by fans.

Vert / Vërst / Host

The plan is that there will be only one host. As of now, the host hasn't been decided as of the presentation of this bid.

Andre informasjon / Ënder Ënfomation /Other information

If chosen to host, then Flexible Deadline will be used for both the entry- and vote- deadlines. This is because of the normally busy RL schedule of the user behind this account and his affiliated nations.

The user's plans for the Televote will be presented jurylast to juryfirst. As in the nation that got the least amount of points from the jury to the most.

The role "WV contestants" on the WV/WHF Discord server will be proposed remade and will be used as a background role, with the primary function to notifying you when Darkmania has an important message to you without having to ping everyone. In order to get the role, you must have at least one LEGAL entry and are on the IBA Discord Server in order to get it. When you have been given the role, in order to get rid of it are to being able to cast your vote. Those who have the role on the server when the voting deadline is disqualified.

There will be three Listenalongs on the IBA Discord Server; America, Europe, and Pacific. The times of each of them will be a matter of discussion.

Or "result" to be technically accurate. Yes, there's been only one bid so, by default, the host for the 92nd WorldVision Song Contest is none other than Anÿme, Darkmania! Stand up, take a bow buddy!

Anyway, as a result of this, we will be repeating what we did at the 82nd edition where there was also only one bid. Darkmania will be allowed to open the IC thread before the 26th July if he so chooses and sign-ups will still be open until the aforementioned date. In fact, this won't mean any dates will change, it just means that we just get up to an extra week of contest.

Once again, a hearty congratulations to our winner, good luck to everyone and I'm not going to quote that line.
