So, no booze allowed during whatsoever, and adults gonna take it away, no matter how well it smuggled, so it's basically scripted? Or it's more like at your own risk? Gonna be fine with the both ways.

drink the booze beforehand.

do not drink the booze during the hike. you will be caught. if you are not caught you will fall off a cliff while drunk and snap your leg.

Edited. Trio had to smuggle weed in a very small amount. But they would be unlikely to be able to enjoy it during hiking, since they would be very careful not to get caught with it. Gotta keep that trademark trait, while keeping it at least remotely reasonable.

Now that's where the fun part begins. To disguise the smell, make it not so distinctive with perfumes, account for the wind direction and most important, find the right time. If it didn't have the smell, there wouldn't be any fun or challenge. Who said, it's easy? It's pretty damn hard. Russian roulette is not the same without the gun.

After all, isn't all this expedition about challenges?
