The Chriſtian Democratic Union is an alliance of multiple Christian democratic parties and represents one of the two major parties on the right of Furbish politics. They support expanding the welfare state, funded through taxes on corporations and the rich, a slightly increased Furbish presence abroad, traditional values, are pro-life. Their base consists of the Catholic French and Spanish speaking population in large cities and rural areas.

LIBERAL UNION

The Liberal Union is an alliance of multiple classical liberal parties and is the second of the two major parties on the right of Furbish politics. They support a much more limited government and wish to lower taxes and import tariffs, partly reduce some welfare programs, sell part of the government's stake in corporations including the Furbish Railroad Company and various utility companies, and support socially progressive policies and are pro-choice. Their base consists of entrepreneurs, the wealthy and upper middle class, and people living in rural areas.

PROGRESSIVE UNION

The Progreſſive Union is an alliance of multiple social democratic parties and represents the largest party on the left of Furbish politics, and leads the current governing coalition. They support an expanded welfare state, paid for by taxes on top earners and corporations, a more regulated economy with the exception of import tariffs, maintaining the current limited Furbish presence abroad, and socially progressive policies and are pro-choice. Their base consists of older people and people in large cities.

ALTERNATIVE FOR THE FUBISH ISLANDS

Alternative for the Furbiſh Iſlands is a young but growing right wing populist party. They strongly support large import tariffs to encourage the revival of the Furbish manufacturing sector, the lowering of taxes, especially on the middle and lower classes and small businesses, reduction of welfare and unemployment benefits, which they believe are unfairly siphoning money to larger coastal cities, and they support socially conservative policies such as a reduction if not end to immigration and opposing abortion. They also oppose foreign aid and support a decreased Furbish presence abroad. Their base consists of people from smaller to medium sized cities, especially in the interior or outlying islands, but spread throughout the country,

On social issues they support socially progressive policies. Their base consists of people living in large cities, often with college degrees, and some from more rural areas

Their base consists young people with college degrees, typically from larger cities.
