2002. Soveiniesberg. Kossei Ridge nuclear facility, a recent spate of government spending has tasked the facility with refurbishing the nation's nuclear arsenal, requiring the delicate construction of plutonium cores. it's a lengthy and painstaking process, though the men paid to do it earn a small fortune in hazard pay. Completed cores are placed in a radiation proof casing, and carried by a robotic arm to an assembly area. But, something has gone critically wrong.
The normally well controlled arm malfunctions, and it's claw crushes the casing like a aluminium can, pulverising the radioactive core in the process. A blue flash is seen by all 6 men in the room, and within 72 hours, all will be dead from Acute Radiation Syndrome. The government overseers of the project are shocked, the amount of funding poured into modern tools and equipment is enormous, how could this possibly have happened?
Baffled by this disaster, Soveiniesberg opens up an inquest into the incident, asking the international community to lend investigators and specialists to get to the bottom of what happened, to ensure it never happens again anywhere, and that those men didn't die for nothing. It's time to unravel the clues.
