It has almost been a year since I founded this nation on Nationstates, it has been a year of immense change of turmoil in both the Real World, and here on Nationstates and in Hopal. This event will mark the first anniversary of the founding of Hopal. There will be all sorts of events centering around Port Hope, where Harrison Reid, the first Prime Minister of Hopal proclaimed the founding of Hopal. Port Hope is recovering from Hurricane Amy that hit last year and most of it will be reopening with these celebrations. Despite recent tensions, it was confirmed that these celebrations will go ahead, with plans for evacuations if necessary, and safety protocols in place. These celebrations are meant as a way to celebrate Hopalian culture and excellence, building relations with the world and other nations. Prime Minister John Stophoe is also inviting leaders of the ICDN to come to Hopal, and discuss the future of the ICDN with them after the celebrations.

Nonetheless for the other reasons listed the SADF will not be invited to participate in the procession, we'll allow De Villiers Graaf and his guards walk behind the procession though, as a sign of courtesy.
