CENTRAL SHANEVILLE PRESIDENT POSEIDON'S BIG MOVE

SHANEVILLE CITY - Back in December in the first re-election in modern Central Shaneville history, President John Poseidon was able to clinch a first full term after he took over as Liberal Democrat Party leader from Chase Owens in 2018 following Owens resignation following a spell with illness - his first years on the run up to the 2020 Central Shaneville election were relatively quiet as was the first 4 months of his current term however today that apparently changes.

John Poseidon stood outside the Central Shaneville Parliament in the city of Lincoln and made a statement to the media suggesting a possible lift on Central Shaneville's isolation from the rest of the world, he was caught on tape saying "This nation is a great place to live and work, we must consider now after all these decades reuniting with the outside world in a political sense as the world changes around us we will finally have a say in affairs, its time for Central Shaneville to stop hiding."

Central Shaneville had been in isolation since the end the second world war following a victory for the allies (which is what Central Shaneville was on despite limited contribution due to a lack of resources) with parliament back then vowing to never get involved in foreign relations again, despite this the island nation continued to build up its air force and navy despite their being, in theory, no need too.

However with Poseidon's speech today, Central Shaneville could once again be open to trade and foreign relations once again with Poseidon promising "A new era for Central Shaneville, we're back in business." despite some media sites saying that this could be a very bad move.

TAKE OFF FOR NEW MUSEUM

AJACCIO - On the northern island of Central Shaneville plans have been put forward to move a building project to Phase 2, that building being the country's "Central Shaneville Museum of Flight" which commemorates the Air Force of Central Shaneville as well as other divisions of Central Shaneville's civillian sector with aircraft, boats, missiles and bombs that have been loaned to the museum by volunteers, the outside is finished however the inside is going to be a massive logistical challenge with the aircraft due to be put on exhibit waiting at Port Vecchio Air Base out of public view.

The museum itself is in a massive open space to encourage expansion should more exhibits be requested or capacity is reached in quick time, the glass front of the museum is actually removable however the construction workers and volunteers have said that "once everything is in, it's in...we have planned this to the nearest inch, that's how close everything will be too each other in there."

One of the loaned international aircraft is this Avro Shackleton (a maritime patrol aircraft) from the SAAF this was the last Shackleton's to fly however ever since its retirement in the mid 1980's its home was at the end of a runway in a rural part of Africa, It is still airworthy however it was grounded for safety and preservation reasons as well as a lack of qualified crew it was then loaned to the Central Shaneville Museum of Flight in early 2021.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS

SHANEVILLE CITY - Another speech from John Poseidon today announced that Central Shaneville is now open to trade and even possible foreign relations with President Poseidon insisting that it is for the best and he's doing this in the interest of the people of Central Shaneville who (whilst have been allowed to travel outside the country) have been relatively isolated from the rest of the world.

It is said by Central Shaneville media outlets that this move by President Poseidon could make or break his presidency as there is a fear other nations could take advantage of Central Shaneville however there is also a sense of pride around the island nation knowing that Central Shaneville is "Open for business." according to the same media outlets.
