The two suggestions are as follows:
1) Since images and text are auto-shrunk and wrapped by tables respectively, you need to resort to some fucky stuff to make them work. [tab] code isn't shrunk by tables, and so by putting [tab] blocks in the headers of the name and the image columns you can prevent the table from shrinking them past the desired point.
2) I personally find it's easier to render tables when in the [raw] code you put an enter between each [td], as those line breaks won't be rendered and it makes it easier to navigate the table.
