For those wishing to sit down at tea time, the staff had laid out a long white table covered in a lovely silk cloth. There was no specific seating arrangement, except for Princess Chrystanthe whom sat at the head of the table. Again, the maids called for anyone who wished to sit for tea to please come and sit if they desired. "If anyone would like a further treat from the table with tea, feel free to ask." Well maybe not Flora, it seemed she had enough now so she could enjoy a cup. Each seat had an empty plate and cup for them to enjoy. This was the table for the little children. Right next to that was another table, this one set for the older chaperones of the group, again similar layout and empty plate and cup with two seats immediately were reserved for the elder sister Princess Peri and elder Prince Linley, whom still had yet to appear. The maids pulled chairs out for all to allow them to sit.

The Prince bounced a little with energy. “Ничего себе! (Wow!) I came on a jet too! That would be so great!” Seeing Arik act almost as enthusiastic as he was only further encouraged the Prince's own enthusiasm. Somehow, the kid managed to smile even bigger.

Konstantin noticed that the Princess’s handmaiden announced to the guests that it was time for all of the children to have tea. Children started to gather around and settle down as the tea was being handled. Konstantin piped up. “Your Highness, why don’t you go and sit with the other children and go chat with them? They are serving tea.” He spoke in Ugoskiy.

Vyacheslav nodded swiftly, then looked back at Arik and asked the Lord to join him. Without waiting for an answer, the Prince dashed off and over to the direction of where Princess Chrysanthe was seated. “Oh, and make sure they do not put milk in your tea, Your Highness!” Konstantin yelled after him, still in Ugoskiy.

“OKAY!” The Prince shouted in return, much louder than Konstantin had been and continued on his way.

Konstantin watched Vyacheslav leave until he was safely seated near the Princess. It would be good for him to interact with more of the children. He just hoped the Prince would behave. Konstantin turned to face Rose.

“As I’m sure you just heard, the Princess called all the guests for tea. And as you just saw, I sent the Prince over there, so maybe we could further talk about this potential visit with the King and our countries.” Konstantin offered. He was very intrigued by The Frozen Forest and all aspects of it. What was their culture like? The customs? What was the history of this foreign country? What were their differences in their policies from his own home? Would they even get along well with Ugokarnsky? Has Rose heard good things or bad things about Ugokarinsky? Perhaps a mixture of both? Or even nothing at all? Rose was definitely a pleasant person to be around, so he hoped that they could come to some agreement at some point later on that might influence a future formal diplomatic relationship between their countries.

Luc, startled by Flora's flip-flopping between asleep and heart-poundingly awake, stared at her as she ran to the tea table, where another young boy, yelling loudly, rushed off to as well.

"That was certainly... interesting," Luc mumbled to himself. He finished his pastry, plucked another of the orange-and-purple-splotched flowers, and walked to the table. On the way, he looked around. Multiple party attendees were walking to the table. Luc noticed two staying behind, talking. I wonder what they're talking about, Luc wondered. Distracted by the smell of tea, Luc sat down in an empty chair that happened to be nearby Flora. He asked one of the maids for tea. In the meantime, Luc made small talk with other party attendees.

Nicky heard the maids mention something about tea. Maybe it isn't a boring thing in this country? Walking over to the Table and, Oh! And the Dead lady was at the table too, next to her was Luc. He hopped onto a chair across the table. Such smooth cloth lined the tables, and ooh! Munchables! Definitely different from Home.
All the while his mother watches, making sure he doesn't do anything dangerous, like fall of his chair.

Bratsy kindly asked one of the staff to hand her son some cookies for his tea, afterwhich she headed for the Chaperone's table.

Tea time, was a ritual in this country, maybe not so much others, but how would this Princess know this? Her cup and plate were set. For her, milk tea with a slice of the cake baked for her. "I'm sorry, I haven't really had much time to talk to you all." Chrysanthe said to her guests as they came to sit at the table with her. "Well to be honest, I don't know a lot of children from outside the country and outside our other noble courts here. So this is really exciting, right Miss Wayne?"

"That's right, Milady." Margaret said, still standing at her young Missus' side. "That's the best part about tea time. Tea time is when you get to sit and know people!" And for the young Princess, that was all the worth it. She may look like your ordinary little girl but unfortunately, she'd had her share of health issues since she was an infant.

For the table for the Chaperones Peri took her seat. Again the maids whispered trying to locate her brother, the Prince. "Don't worry, I doubt he's gone far." she whispered back to them. Linely was the oldest and thus immediate heir apparent to the throne. None of the staff knew, he was in the garden, just deep in that he was pretty much out of sight. Peri giggled a bit. "Well, normally we'd see our elder brother here but it seems he's off about the ground somewhere. Well our family will be having another party to celebrate come Sunday so it's no matter. So, how is everyone enjoying the garden? Or even Sauville if you've had a chance to see a little of the city on your way here. Kind of old fashioned but many would say that's part of the charm here."

"Your tea, Milady." The other maid handed her a cup of black tea.

"Thank you." Peri delicatley placed the napkin into her lap as another plate of a few cookies was also place before her. Any other treats, deserts or cups were also given to the other guests by the staff of maids.

"The Kharden... I mean... Uh, the Garden is pretty. Very big and beautiful flowers and bush. If it was bigger I'd be lost in it because it would be like a jungle!" Nicky answered. The Royal Garden back at home pales in comparison to the Royal Garden of Abetton, however, Nicky's vocabulary is still limited as he's still pretty young. He looked to his left and right before stuffing his mouth with a cake shyly.

Bratsy could only giggle at her son's shyness at how adorable he is.

Having sat down at one of the tables, she waited patiently for tea and cakes to be passed around. Melty loves tea time, which is somewhat a semi tradition in many homes in Cartoonia, especially of the aristocracy. Her mother usually made some special blends, or sometimes they would get some tea blends imported from various parts of the world, but she always looks forward to a nice cup of tea with sandwiches and cakes.

The maid went around and poured tea into the fine china, with some cookies as well.

“Thank you very much,” Melty says. She takes a bite from the cookie, which was a delicate and mouth-watering delight. Then she takes a sip of the black tea. She smiles at how different this tea tasted from the ones she usually drinks at home. It was a smooth and sweet taste with a bit of nuttiness to it. She loved it.

“My goodness, this is a very delicious cup of tea! Almost like the ones I have at home”.

She giggled "I know, it's very big and if not careful, easy to get a little lost. Even I got lost here one time. But a easy way to find your way back, is just look for the castle roof. Follow that, you'll be back in no time! And the garden is sealed off, so not like wandering around a wide forest with no way to know." She sipped on her tea a little and munched on a cookie.

Luc drank his tea, mmm-ing at it's taste. He'd never been one for tea, yet here he was. As of currently, he wasn't talking to anyone, so he decided it would be fun to show off his French. It would be a fun way to both overcome his shyness and show off a skill of his. he assumed not everyone could speak French and started talking somewhat loudly.

"Excuse me, um- everyone. I come from Carthatska, where we all speak, uh, French. So I'm going to demonstrate some French for you! Ahem. Bonjour à tous! Je m’appelle Luc Maitre et c’est, comme vous pouvez le voir, Français langue. That means, uh... 'Hi everyone! My name is Luc Maitre, and this is, as you can see, the French Language. I think."

Chrysanthe had to set her cup of tea down for just a moment as her guest Luc decided to regail the party with a nice bout of some French Language. Of course being a well bread, royal girl she was, Chrys naturally was learning how to speak one or more foreign tongues. Admittedly it was still a long process given her young age and she really hadn't settled on seriously studying a language yet like her sister and brother already had but French was one of them, she wouldn't try her hand at it here it certainly wouldn't be as good as Luc's but she did manage to pick up a handful of his words he spoke. She clapped for him when finished. "magnifique" Well, one word wouldn't embarrass her too much. "I know little bits and pieces of French but not enough to converse or anything. Actually I haven't picked my language to study yet."

"Her Highness is still young yet, she'll have some time to decide like her elder sister and brother did before her and as do her dear Mother and Father the King and Queen."

"To be a proper Princess and noble of the country is to know how to converse with many from far off lands. So says my grandmother, Queen Mother Cordelia Laure."

"Very good, Milady, very good."

Luc listen to the princess talk, taking another sip of the tea. "Merci, princess." he thought of a few languages that Chrysanthe could probably easily learn. "Dutch is an easy language, and it's close enough to English. if you wanted to learn it, you probably, um, could."

Vyacheslav looked at the lot of the children. They all looked so different and had such strange accents when speaking. He couldn't wait to introduce himself to everyone and possibly make some new friends. The Prince was subconsciously fiddling with the end of the table cloth while he was uncharacteristically staying silent and observing the others. Tea was a normal tradition for Ugokarinsky as well, and had been for hundreds of years, so this was a normal experience for him. He waited patiently as the Abetton staff came around and served everyone. The small, anaphylactic Prince specifically requested no milk. If he even got just a little and didn't address it right away, he could die- so it was important to ask although the staff were probably already fully aware. He just wanted to be sure.

As soon as all of the children were dished out their tea and complimentary pastries, he took a small sip. The Prince's taste buds were shocked. It was surprisingly different from the normal tea from his homeland. The flavor was definitely foreign to him but he couldn't quite pin what made it so different. It was nothing too extreme in terms of flavor and was probably the classic style of Abetton tea, but it was delicious.

Then, rather abruptly, a boy stood up that was in a seat nearby him. The boy seemed shy but nice. He introduced himself, saying he hailed from a country called Carthatska. The Prince had never heard of that country before. The boy proceeded to speak in a language entirely foreign to the Prince. Vyacheslav's eyes lit up and widened. It sounded so different than his native ones. After the Princess and the boy talked for a second, the Prince finally spoke up. He directed his inquiry to the boy, "That was so cool! Do you know any other languages?"

Luc, having received lots of attention, blushed. He, in all likelihood, should have expected this, but his rush to overcome his shyness made him forget. Oh well. He heard a voice from a seat nearby. Luc, whipping his head around, saw a boy around his age looking at him. The boy had asked if Luc knew any other languages. Luc considered his question for a bit, then replied. "Well, there's Dutch. Ik ken maar een klein beetje Nederlands. That's Dutch for, um, 'I only know a little bit of Dutch.' There's also Carthatska's native languages, the Kanak. There's a few different types, such as Nengone or Drehu. I can only say, like Princess Chrysanthe said, little bits and pieces. Heh." Luc sat back down and put his hands in his lap. They were clenched because Luc was rather shy and this had been quite the social interaction.

Nicky was closely listening, to this whole thing. Foreigners are weird people.

"Dutch? My Papi hates Dutch, I don't know why." He chimed in. "I can only speak English, though my friends say I still sound weird. How did you know Dutch? TV too? That's how I know my English. My papi and mamati speak a lot of languages, just go ask her!"

He gets up from his seat a little, pointing at his mother who smiles and waves back at the young boy.

"Hallo Mama!"

Having sat down, Luc heard a young voice. It said something about Dutch. Luc, reluctantly, stood back up. "I learned Dutch from a website popular in my country, uh.... I forget the name. It's pretty fun!"

Hoping for his sudden popularity to die down, Luc sat down again.

Vyacheslav whipped his head around to face a new voice that chipped in. He saw that it was a young boy like him, though he seemed a little older. Apparently, he didn't speak Dutch either. The Prince did not speak Dutch, nor French, nor Kanak, or most other languages that this handful of foreign people probably spoke- just his native ones and minimal English. A lot of the languages that were mentioned The Prince had never even heard spoken until today. He wondered if anybody knew Ugoskiy. Most likely not because of how incredibly difficult it is to learn.

The boy, whose name he still did not yet know, pointed towards his mother. Vyacheslav turned his head towards the direction he gestured to and saw a woman not too far away, who in return waved to her son. The Prince smiled, taking the offer that the boy proposed, and wiggled out of his seat at the tea table and headed over to his mother.

"I met your son!" Vyacheslav motioned to the boy back at the table.

"He told me you speak a lot of languages!" The Prince didn't hesitate for a second to speak. It was clear he was extroverted and willing to talk with anyone. He did a small and polite bow to be respectful, but it was obvious that the Prince was more focused on asking his question.

"So- what languages do you speak?" The eccentric child asked.

Luc had mentioned he learned some Dutch on his own, Nicky's father apparently hated Dutch for some reason really it was quite a buzz about many speaking different languages, it made her feel just a little left out, as she mentioned she really hadn't settled on studying one or more languages just yet, because well what to pick when there are so many?

"Wow, Sir Luc, you learned on your own?" Not really knowing his title off the top of her head, Sir was usually a proper way to address a young man of high stature when one doesn't know the other's title. "I have tutors for my subjects so I really can't imagine trying to learn such a hard task all by myself. Well maybe my sister could, she learned to ride herself."

Peri giggled a bit, "I certainly did not, Chrys. I had instructors all the same, I may have picked up a trick or two on my own from reading and talking with others but the basics were taught to me just like anyone else."

Margaret looked at her watch, it was getting onto 1 o'clock right now, the day was certainly progressing steady but no doubt for the young children every hour was long and sweet. But with the high hour that also meant the sun was rising higher into the sky. "Milady, if you might stand for me a moment."

Chrysanthe stood up as asked still holding to her cup of tea and listening to the other children talk. Margaret moved the Princess chair over just a little to put her more into the shade of the tall oak that stood at the front of the table. "Thank you, Milady, please take your seat."

"Thank you, Miss Margaret." She sipped on her tea and spoke out again, "What else do you all like to do? Do you any of you have brothers and sisters?"

The staff moved quietly like clock work to move empty dishes from the two tables and refill any cups of those who wished for more.

Sita Swayh Prijani (a smiling, sweet girl with light brown skin, brown eyes and black hair, nine years old) arrives with her bodyguard, her bodyguard is upset that they are late. She walks up to people, intending to greet them, followed by her bodyguard.

"How energetic!"
She gives a simple head bow back to the child.

Bratsy had never seen a kid this vibrant and extroverted, it was a surprise, especially when he came to ask the question of langue. Though her husband spoke more fluently in different languages than she could ever dream. Even then it's nothing special.

"Well... I... I don't mean to brag or anything, but I can speak Estonian, my mother tongue, English, which is to be expected, no? And my husband's language, Grecozh. Nothing really special, little one." She lets out a little chuckle, it's menial information children love soaking up. Especially about random things and people.

"And you, little one? Who's little boy are you?"

As the Staff started to whisk away plates and dishes, little Nicky asked for a refill of his cup.

"Well, not sure about you, but I like maps! My big brother Razou also likes maps, but he knows more about them, papati too. I guess it's because he's Tsar. Every other week, Papati takes me to the Duma and we solve little problems together at night."

He takes a sip of the tea, he just can't get over this foreign tea! He must tell his father about this tea when he gets home!

The Prince listened carefully to Nicky's mother as she talked about the languages she spoke. "That's so cool. I've never heard of Gre- gre.... how do you say? Grecozh. I only speak Ugoskiy, some Ushian, and have not learned the continental language of Okican. Oh... and some English."

He wondered how everyone knew so many different languages. How does it even work? The Prince realized he didn't even know much about the strange rules of his own native language and how it worked. The Prince knew close to nothing about grammar, sentence structure, or the different language families, branches, and their individual and separate groups and how they all played into one another. So the information was definitely interesting to the small child, though he didn't quite grasp the concept of languages in depth.

The Prince eyes lit up again, as he was thrilled to get a question in return. It took him a while to respond because of his little mind trying to translate everything into English. "I'm Prince Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Sovetsky of Ugokarinsky! I'm the son of the King- His Majesty, King Mikhail II. He... doesn't rule the country though. Not after the empire fell."

Then, stemming off of his last comment, Vyacheslav asked another question. "Do you rule your country?"

S... Sovetsky?" she shook her head, it's only a name, she repeated inside her head.

"Well, technically, yes! I rule the country with my husband. But he has a bigger role in leading then me, I just make sure he doesn't forget his shoes at work." She giggles a little.
"Now, why don't you go back along to your friends by the table? I'm sure they miss you by now." She gives the little Vyacheslav a warm, closed-lip smile.

Vyacheslav looked at her funnily. Something about the way she reacted when she heard his surname was... off. Did she not like his name? That probably wasn't it. The Prince shrugged it off and didn't really think much of it after. "I wish I ruled a country. No one could say I can't have a dog then." He plainly stated, thinking about all of the things he could do. The Prince wouldn't do anything crazy- just things a child would dream of doing if they had such freedom to do whatever they wished.

Vyacheslav nodded and returned the smile. "Okay! Nice to meet you, Госпожа!"

The small boy quickly moved back over to the tea table with the others, where he sat down not too far away from Nicky. The staff served him another cup of tea which he carefully took after making sure it was safe. He thanked them and then turned his attention towards Nicky and smiled.

"Your Мама is very nice! Oh, and what is your name, by the way? I never asked-" Vyacheslav said sheepishly.

"Curious little boy" Bratsy thought, then again, aren't they all?

Ugokarinsky wrote:"Your Мама is very nice! Oh, and what is your name, by the way? I never asked-" Vyacheslav said sheepishly.

Nicky looked over to the child that was talking to him, had a big smile on his face.

"Mamati is always nice! Oh! And I know my title! I think... Tsarevich Nicholas Tanokiyan! By you for service! I still don't know what most of that means, but I think it's funny! My father taught me to say this when introducing myself, I never really use it."

He picks up a small piece of cake he still had and dipped it into his tea, almost turning the pastry into an extremely soggy tea cake. He wouldn't know of course, he just knew it tasted good, that's all that mattered.
