BVC | Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2021 | Pre-Qualifiers Round

Postby Britonisea » Fri Mar 05, 2021 6:27 am

OOC Disclamer: This is the International Pre-Qualifying round for Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2021 - which starts on the 20th March 2021. The Pre-Qualifying round will determine which lucky international will qualify directly to the VM2021 Grand Final (which is ICly on the 24th April) and two more acts to compete in the Battle Stage (ICly taking place on the 10th April). The three qualifiers will be announced during the live Vh Mehlodhivestoile - one winner per Semi-Final (20th, 27th March and 3rd April). The 27 competing Britonish songs will be revealed the week of their respective Semi-Final (ie Semi-Final 1's songs will be revealed 16th - 17th March). The top two songs overall will then go on to represent Britonisea in future WorldVision Song Contests...

20:00 GMT
Live from Cappehnyaden

It had been more than a year since the first show of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2020 - which started on the 29th February last year - so the opening show for the next Vha Mehlodhivestoile was long overdue. Initially, there was going to be the usual five shows (3 Semi-Finals, 1 Battle Stage and 1 Grand Final), but due to the volume of International entries received this year compared to any year in the past, the organisers decided that due to the unusually late start time of Vha Mehlodhivestoile this year, it would be a good idea to maybe televise a Pre-Qualifying Round with the winner going through to the Grand Final and the other two going to the Battle Stage where they will battle against pre-qualified Britonish artists. We would be going Teaside Sports Arena for the first show because Cappehnyaden would also host the first Semi-Final. In order to cut costs, BVC thought it'd be a good idea to say in Cappehnyaden for a few weeks before continuing the show. At 20:00 the credits for Vha Mehlodhivestoile started to play. It was time for the show to begin...

As the titles played out to the estimated 10 million households watching the show at home live in Britonisea and many more millions across the multiverse, the activity on Twitter and other social media platforms skyrocketed - we were back in business and after the year the country had, BVC were more than ready to get the show on the road. While they can't have Vha Mehlodhivestoile under pre-COVID conditions, Britonisea's relatively low COVID transmission rates and discipline during the lockdowns months before, they were able to allow the audience into the arena at half capacity though due to the increased amount of ventilation, some fans complained that it far too cold in the arena. Most were grateful that they were there in the first place - it was the first Britonish television arena broadcast since the 53rd World Hit Festival, over 7 months ago so the fans were absolutely loving it. Performing as the opening act of the show was Britonisea's most recent WorldVision Song Contest act, Roksie Rakas who placed an impressive 2nd place with 211 points with her song, "Come What May". From the back entrance of one of the LED's Roksie made her grand entrance as the music started to play...

At the end of the song, the audience over 4,000 odd gave a roaring round of applause. It was time for the hosts to come out and have a little intervention with everyone. The hosts of the main show, Lucie Dagenham, Emmanuel Taylor and Jordan Basset were nowhere to be seen for the Pre-Qualifers as they were busy getting ready for, what would be for them, an intense 5 weeks of being the all-singing, all-dancing Vha Mehlodhivestoile hosts the audience expects. Instead, we will get the Greenroom hosts hosting this show and so after Roksie took a bow, Frida Grover and Matt Evans walked out from each side of the LEDs to a cool pop tune which would play under them as they started to speak...

Frida Grover: Bonjour! Hekki! Hello and welcome to the Pre-Qualifying Round of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2021. I am your co-host Frida Grover...

Matt Evans: And I am Matt Evans and tonight we are live in the city of Cappehnyaden in the Telm Authority for what will be a brilliant showing of international talent who are after the grand prize - a chance to win £155,000 Brito Pound Sterlings...

Frida Grover: A chance to represent Britonisea at the WorldVision Song Contest...

Matt Evans: A chance to make it big in one of the biggest music markets amongst the WV circle?!

Frida Grover: Oooh, don't let the other nations hear you say that! But no, seriously, winning Vha Mehlodhivestoile definitely has its benefits and any one of the competing artists today could end up being the winner of the overall show. Before we meet each of our artists, I will quickly go through how tonight is going to work...

There was a huge cheer for Matt and Frida as the shot quickly changed to a VT in which Frida and Matt are explaining what happens during tonight's show. They explain that 10 acts will compete for the chance to enter VM2021 - all from international backgrounds. They said that 1 act from here will go through, alongside Tobias Noah (3rd place from last year), to the Grand Final of VM2021 taking place on the 24th April. 2 acts (2nd and 3rd place from the Pre-Qualifying Round) will go to the Battle Stage where they will compete with 2 Britonish acts to go through the Grand Final. Only one act will make it through the Battle round. They also explain that the votes will be compromised of a Jury and Televote 50% 50% split, similar to the one seen at the WorldVision Song Contest since the 82nd edition. Britonisea will be split into Aloquirbe & Capital (due to their geographical location), Western Britonisea (which includes cities like Kyvivre, Machievelihe etc) and Eastern Britonisea (which includes cities like Telm City, Boschke). The three areas of Britonisea will have the same weighting each as one international jury and televote. Votes open at the end of the show, unlike the main show where they open at the beginning, and will remain open until 14th April 2021. The three qualifiers will be announced 1 by 1 in each Semi-Final of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2021 (on the 20th, 27th March and 3rd April).
Matt Evans: Right, it's now time to meet the 10 acts of the Pre-Qualifiers... here they are!

As this music started, with each bang, we went to a different artist, all of whom were sitting in the Greenroom. They all waved when the camera was on their faces...
Frida Grover: And first up is Darlington from Ertzi Kishim - it's time to get to know her and listen to her song, "Lockdown"!

Can’t tell me nothing tonight, now
We’ll be back on the Friday

We are going til lockdown, we are going til lockdown
We are going til lockdown, we are going

'Cause you're everything I've ever wanted and so much more

Daniel Makala - Time Apart

Music: Jessica Laguna, Daniel Makala
Lyrics: William Wilkinson, Susanna Baker
Tune: Kwabs - My Own [01:40 - 02:22]
What if we took some time apart?
It’s ‘bout what we need, not what we want.
I know that our love won’t flourish,
If we continue down this road.
To save both of our hearts from breaking,
I gotta take a step back.
Maybe when when our paths cross in the future,
It’ll be like Day 1 again.

(What if we took time apart?)
It’ll be like Day 1 again
(What if we took time apart?)
It’ll be like Day 1 again
(What if we took time apart?)
It’ll be like Day 1 again
(What if we took time apart?)
It’ll be like Day 1 again

Lying here undressed, feeling so obsessed,
Counting all the reasons why…
You made me feel like I had always won.

The love I gave to you to anyone again.

Music:
Lyrics:
Tune: Oonagh, Safri Duo - Zeit der Sommernächte [01:26 - 02:05]

Your rhythm shines

Shine, oh shine
Paint the skies with your colour

Don't forsake the beat within

After the final performance, there was yet another huge cheer in the arena for Esther Winterbourne. The camera swerved around to Matt Evans and Frida Grover, both of whom were smiling away at the camera ready to speak once again.
Matt Evans: Wow! Thank you to the amazing performance - the winner of the 82nd WorldVision Song Contest.

Frida Grover: Well, Britonisea! All acts have performed and it's now time to vote. Remember, lines will open now and they won't close until next Saturday at 8pm. For those of you not in Britonisea, your commentators will let you know if you're eligible to vote! If you don't have a commentator and you're not in Britonisea - the likelihood is you can't! The results of the show will be announced, one act per Semi-Final which begins March the 20th. The winner of the Pre-Qualifiers will be announced in the 3rd Semi-Final. Anyway, now that you've know that... it is time we can announce...

BOTH: BRITONISEA! START VOTING NOW!

A huge start voting sign appeared on the screen before we went to a recap of each of the songs - all songs had a recap of 30 seconds, which meant in total, the recap was 5 minutes. After that the hosts came back and greeted James Benamar, having an interview with him before he performed his submission into the 57th World Hit Festival, "Quicksand". The World Hit Festival was happening in two weeks time, coinciding with the first Semi-Final of Vha Mehlodhivestoile, meaning that the Britonish National Final had to start 1 hour and a half earlier than usual. At the end of the show the hosts said goodbye to everyone and announced the votes are still opened. There would be a short 30 minute Vha Mehlodhivestoile show on BVC One closing the voting lines and throughout the week, recaps would show during prime time television. Finally, they announced that the entry for the 89th WorldVision Song Contest for Britonisea has been picked and will be announced during Semi-Final 2 on the 27th March, where the Britonish entrant will perform their song LIVE as the Opening Act!

That's Britonisea sorted, but it's time to sort out the results from across the world...here's how you can vote!

Voting for the Pre-Qualifiers have now closed. Thank you to those who have participated!

Due to the recent introduction of the televote and jury split the edition after the last VM winner was sent, Vha Mehlodhivestoile has had to adapt to this. Thus, the way we vote in Vha Mehlodhivestoile will change. The votes will be conducted in private and added to a Britonish Jury and Televote (Britonisea will be separated into Aloquirbe & Capital, West, East all weighing the same as 1 nation). Please read the information below to make sure that you are voting correctly.

There are 10 (ten) songs competing in the International Pre-Qualifying round of Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2021.

There are now two ways that you must vote in Vha Mehlodhivestoile. You must provide a Jury vote and Televote using the form below.
  • Jury Vote: Please place the entry that you like the most in 1st position, your 2nd favourite entry in 2nd position and so on so forth until you get to your last entry. The scores will be converted into Eurovision scores.
  • Televote: The televote is your score out of 10 for each entry. Your overall score cannot exceed 80 or be lower than 30. This means that you cannot give every entry 10/10 as that would equal 100 points or give everyone 1/10 as that would equal 10.

Rakaphy, Ertzei Kishim - Host Bid

Postby Ertzei Kishim » Fri Mar 05, 2021 6:22 pm

Image
OFFICIAL BID FROM THE RAKAPHY CITY REGION FOR THE HOSTING RIGHTS TO THE 89TH WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST

Ertzei Kishim has once again decided to submit a host bid for the right to host the 89th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest in the country. After two previous successful hostings, in the 82nd and 26th edition, HARESHET and the Rakaphy City Council have teamed up to create a bid to hopefully bring the contest back to Ertzei Kishim. The last time Ertzei Kishim hosted, HARESHET, along with the WorldVision Committee, of which Ertzei Kishim was a member at the time, implemented a huge change which has revolutionised how the contest was run: that was the introduction of the televoting system. Not only did this double the amount of points on offer, but it challenged broadcasters to create entries which would please both a professional jury, and the wider public. Now that Ertzei Kishim is planning to throw its hat into the ring once again, HARESHET have decided to explore another innovation to the contest, one which may drastically change how audiences have come to view the WorldVision Song Contest.

Ertzei Kishim has been a regular participant in the WorldVision Contest since the 25th edition, and despite an extensive break, the country returned permanently in the 73rd edition hosted in The Estograd, Estogium. Since its return, Ertzei Kishim has achieved six podium places, including one victory, and finished in the top ten on fifteen of a possible sixteen occasions, adding to its reputation as one of the preeminent WorldVision nations, with a total of five overall wins, fourteen podium finishes, and thirty one top ten finishes. Despite this record, the country has hosted just two contests in its long history. HARESHET is looking to change this fact. Thanks to an increase in funding due to the IBA relocation into Makhaviv, as well as a government more keen to invest in the cultural sphere, the broadcaster has seen an almost 180% increase in its annual budget. This has been expressed with higher budget show productions, an increased interest in the Kishraeli national final, Kdam-WorldVision, and now, another host bid.

In the following lines, this official document will outline the Kishraeli plans for a hosting in Rakaphy, Ertzei Kishim's second city. This will include the proposed venue, staging considerations, postcards, and format changes, as well as travel information pertinent to participants and fans alike. Special attention will be paid to outlining all necessary Coronavirus procedures that must be followed given the global health situation. As the overseers of the contest, the management committee stresses its absolute commitment to making this not only a fun contest, but an exciting one. We hope you will enjoy what we have in store for the world.

Image

Unlike the last bid from HARESHET, a bidding process was not held this time. In fact, it was clear to the organisers that only three cities had the capacity to host such a competition as the WorldVision Song Contest. Tiferet was of course, the host of the 82nd edition, and Makhaviv was currently welcoming an influx of foreign workers from the IBA. So this left just one major Kishraeli city remaining. Home to just over one million people, Rakaphy is in fact the largest city in Ertzei Kishim by metropolitan population. Similar to Tiferet, as a coastal party hub, the atmosphere of freedom and relaxation reigns free here. The first city region in the country to implement a four day week, Rakaphians take it easy. There are no shortage of services however, as like all metropolitan hubs, Rakaphy does not stop working - 24/7. Initially founded by Jewish immigrants to the Middle East during the first half of the twentieth century, Rakaphy has grown from strength to strength, for many years being the preeminent symbol of the Kishraeli nation. Recently challenged by Tiferet in the cultural and economic scene, most Rakaphians know that they 'did it first', and they probably do it better.

Unlike Tiferet, Rakaphy is not quite as ethnically diverse. As one of the first modern Jewish cities in the Middle East, it is still principally populated as such, with a 77% Jewish majority. This does make Hebrew a much more common language than Arabic in this part of the country, but of course English will not be a problem for communication - in fact, Rakaphy scored the best English results during the latest matriculation exam data from 2020. Many will know the typical Kishraeli sound at WorldVision, that being dance-pop tunes, occasionally with an ethnic influence. This style of music was bred right here in the Simta'ot [Tight alleyways, where many underground music venues and clubs are located] of Rakaphy. As a result, guests will be treated to the authentic Kishraeli music experience upon arrival to the country. While restrictions do remain because of the Coronavirus pandemic, there has been a gradual reopening of social spaces, with the final phase expected before the end of the WorldVision week. Rakaphy is not all party - in fact the city is steeped on a great history. Despite being a 'new' city, its rapid expansion has led it to engulf smaller historical sites, including Crusader settlements, and even those from Hellenistic times. The Northern Districts of Rakaphy, collectively 'Ha'Tzfonezor" is considered the 'old city', encompassing the old Hellenistic towns of Dura Europa Mesogeiakós and Archaleaon.

Visitors will arrive at the International Airport at Loud, and must present a valid negative COVID-19 test upon arrival. Failure to do so will lead to your entry into the country being refused. Following this, all foreign visitors must also quarantine for an additional 4 days in one of the many Quarantine Hotels around Rakaphy and Tiferet (you will receive transportation provided by the government for this). After this, visitors must respect national laws regarding Coronavirus and social distancing (which can be accessed here: http://www.gov.ek/coronavirus/eng), but are otherwise free to enjoy their stay in Ertzei Kishim. Transportation is free for Kishraeli nationals, however foreign visitors are advised to purchase a one-off 'Rav-Kav' card at the airport. For the cost of ₪350, visitors will be able to utilise all domestic transportation systems free of charge. Car ownership is becoming increasingly uncommon in Ertzei Kishim, however there are car-hire options at Loud International Airport, but this will involve an additional trip from the quarantine hotel to pick up said vehicle.

So you want to know what our big surprise is? Well here you go! HARESHET is proposing for this edition alone, the introduction of Semi-Finals! For this to work however, HARESHET will request that the 89th edition of the contest last an extra week (until the 19th April). While this is of course an unexpected change to the schedule, HARESHET understands that this also would suit the community as a whole, as the Committee is set to prepare the organisation of another special edition in time for the sign-up period of the 90th contest. So, how will this work you as? Let us explain:
  • Semi-Finals will not be guaranteed by HARESHET. In fact, the broadcaster has decided that semifinals will only occur if there are at least 35 competing nations in the upcoming WorldVision. This is so that each semifinal is populated enough to be worthwhile in conducting, and also that they remain competitive: If too few countries compete, we will see the elimination of a few joke entries and that is all, we want to keep this exciting. The arrangements for the semifinals will work as follows, depending on how many nations are signed up:
    • 35-37 Nations: With between 35 to 37 nations, the structure will be as follows. The top three from the previous edition (Izmedu, Britonisea, and Ertzei Kishim) will advance automatically to the final. The remaining nations will be divided into two semi finals, with 11 qualifiers from each, making a final of 25 nations. Britonisea and Ertzei Kishim will each be assigned a semi-final in which to vote, Izmedu will be required to vote in both semifinals.
    • 38-41 Nations: With between 38 to 41 nations, the structure will be as follows. Only the winner of last edition, Izmedu, will qualify directly to the final. The remaining nations will be divided up into two semi finals, with 12 qualifiers from each, making a final of 25 nations. Izmedu will vote in both semi finals.
    • 42+ Nations: If we exceed 42 competing nations this edition, there will be no automatic qualification places and all nations will be divided into two semi finals, with 13 qualifiers from each, making a final of 26 nations.
  • There are a number of structural changes which HARESHET seeks to propose in order to implement semifinals. Firstly, upon the IC thread going live, it will be titled as the "WorldVision 89 Semifinals Thread". This will serve as all previous IC threads, and if the threshold to trigger semifinals is not achieved, it will simply act as the normal WorldVision thread, the difference being that nations will not post their entries as part of the running order, so no performance numbers. The top three of the previous WorldVision will be required to also post their entries now, even if they do eventually progress to the final automatically. Immediately after the posting deadline, HARESHET will request the committee to divide all competing entries into two semi finals which will then be announced by HARESHET. The committee will also release a form in which users can vote for their entries, both jury and televote from their semifinal, however voting details will be kept secret until after the contest.
  • The Semifinal voting period will remain open until Sunday, 11th April, 20:00 GMT (one day less than usual on account of having to grade fewer entries), before the qualifiers of both semi finals will be announced on the same night. At this point, users who have qualified to the final have until the following Tuesday, 13th April, 20:00 GMT (48 hours) to post their entries on the new 'WorldVision 89 Finals Thread', and are welcome, for example to RP their semi final experience, change spelling mistakes, etc. After this 48 hour period, any entries that have not been transferred will be transferred by the host.
  • The voting for the final will then commence as usual, with users posting their top ten jury points in the thread, and then ranking all entries in a form for the televote. An additional listenalong will be held on Tuesday consisting of the songs that made it into the final. Countries which did not qualify to the final will also be required to post their points on the IC thread and complete the televoting form, and failure to do so will result in relevant punishment.
  • The voting deadline for the final will then be the Monday, 19th April, 20:00 GMT, giving people six days to vote. After which the televoting results will be announced by the host.
  • HARESHET propose a change to the televoting system used in the final. While we support the use of the current system in the semifinals, the bidding committee have proposed an alternative, and arguably stricter televoting weighting for the final. The reasoning behind this is that the weaker entries of the competition will have been eliminated in the semi finals, thereby increasing the average rating of each song. Instead, HARESHET proposes increasing the negative rankings of ratings, and lowering the positive rankings of others. This will also likely change results from the semifinal to the final, adding an element of unpredictability and surprise to the overall package.

Originally the desired stadium was the one which hosted the 82nd edition, that being the Zirah Leumit. Unfortunately, this was booked (OOC: I forgot which stadium it was irl, whoops). Luckily, the home stadium of both Maccabi and Hapoel Rakaphy, the Rakaphy Barak Stadium (איצטדיון ברק רכפי) was available. The process to convert the stadium into an indoor one can be completed before the contest begins, in fact, it has hosted many international singers before. The stadium will be converted to hold 6,000 people inside (which includes 1,500 standing capacity, and 4,5000 seated), this is a reduction of the actual capacity of 9,000 due to covid guidelines. Located in the east of the city, Rakaphy Barak Stadium is somewhat separate from the heart of the city, however it is supported by a number of direct bus links and a train link from the centre of Rakaphy. Capacity of course will be expanded during the contest. The municipality of Rakaphy also intends to erect large screens throughout the city, particularly in the many public parks dotted throughout the city. You will still then be able to enjoy the atmosphere of celebration even if you are not in the stadium. So sit in Har Prakhim, make a picnic, and sit back and watch the show!

Image

HARESHET understands that the stage is the most important part of performance, if not the most important part. As a result, the stage design incorporates all aspects of technology to make your show spectacular. Pyrotechnics, fireworks, smoke, sparks, even water, if you can dream it, the HARESHET team can make it. There is also ample room on the stage to incorporate even large props (so long as the broadcaster brings it themselves). The floor itself comes built in with an LED screen, as well as an overhead projector, allowing delegations to create a multilayered effect from both above and below their artists. Equally, the backing semi circle is completely covered in LEDs, allowing it to create beautiful imagery to help artists to tell their story. Finally, the camera team numbers 29, many of whom worked on Ertzei Kishim's previous hosting, which includes remote operators of 6 different overhead cameras, on stage shots, panning in and out, and shots that cut the line between on stage realism and overhead maximalism. In short: all shots are possible with the expanded team at your disposal. Additional pictures can be found here: 1, 2, 3, 4

HARESHET has decided that girl power is in! Our three hosts come from a variety of backgrounds, but are ultimately the perfect teams to front this exciting edition of the WorldVision Song Contest. Dana Leidenstein, a 32 year old Kishraeli presenter will lead the team. Having presented a portfolio of shows including Kishraeli X-Factor and Big Brother, she is the preeminent star of Kishraeli TV, she is the moment. Accompanying her will be a face everyone in the WorldVision community and beyond knows. Sandy Santini is arguably the most famous Kishraeli at the moment, creating hit after hit. She will be joining the team to inject some youthful flair, engaging with polls at home, and the internet, bringing you, the audience into the show itself. Douna Bougachtik will round up the team. From the Circassian community, she is an upcoming TV host, best known for her investigative online shorts for HARESHET's instagram page. Some may remember her as the spokesperson for Ertzei Kishim at the 52nd World Hit Festival.

ImageImage

The theme of this edition aims to take participants deep into the Middle Eastern desert and immerse them into the sounds, smells, and sights of the vast golden sands. The postcards will be simple elegant banners, overlayed with the nation's colours on a complex woven background, inspired by the Islamic art which is dotted through the land of Ertzei Kishim. Personalised banners will also be used to announce the qualifiers from the semi finals, as well as the lower televotes in the final.

Who are the MAGMA pre-qualifiers?

Last year, our pre-qualifiers in Sinun Valintasi: Starfall were all ethnic-oriented songs, from the various ethnic groups of Tödlichebujoku with songs in Volkiče, Nevetasso, and Sureedakeeri. One of these pre-qualifiers, "Alcas" by Rasiña, went on to win Starfall and represent the nation at the 80th WorldVision Song Contest in Marina Point, Nekoni, eventually placing 6th in a field of 26.

This time around, we are trying out a new composition of songs - two of the entries are still ethnic, but the third is one selected by the Tödlichebujoki public on the Starfall shard. In effect, this is a throwback to the earlier days of the Sinun Valintasi wildcard, two of which, "THIS BITCH IS A LIAR" by Annamaria Magdalena and the Fuckettes and "Talvezout" by Annulat, went on to win the event and enter WorldVision.

So let's go on and meet the MAGMA pre-qualifiers!

Llaunumo (Wickedness)

Aizino, Yauno M, Daina Balodis
Language: Nevetasso
Tune: J. Balvin, Jeon, Anitta - "Machika"

With Daina Balodis and Yauno M from Díva Osta, and Aizino from the nation of Balandas, "Llaunumo" brings a spicy Plataino beat to the Starfall festivities. As the successor to "Alcas" in terms of being the sole Nevetasso MAGMA pre-qualifier, "Llaunumo" has some big shoes to fill. Daina, of course, returns to Starfall after placing last in the final. Will she do better this time around?

Llaunumo llaunumo llaunumo
Noslíxtã vaino a greznumo
Pateiz man savas ístas vélmes,
Yo manas plauxas oz tavas astes

Tu deyoyi copá a banberiem
A banberiem
Tápés náz ciemos pe estachiem

Llaunumo, llaunumo
Llaunumo, llaunumo (La ta ta)
Llaunumo, llaunumo (Grécoyo)
Llaunumo, llaunumo (Ah ah ah)

Wickedness wickedness wickedness
We're drowning guilt with luxury
Tell me your true desires,
'Cause my hands are up on your rear

You danced with the angels
With the angels
So come visit the devils
With the devils

Wickedness wickedness
Wickedness wickedness
Wickedness wickedness (I sin)
Wickedness wickedness

Sredh Duhàv (Among The Spirits)

Ía Lêsovà
Language: Zirnscí
Tune: Oonagh - "Silmaril"

We welcome Ía Lêsovà, or Ía Of The Forests, a rising singer from the Zirnha region of Lagoa! The first appearance of Zirnscí in Sinun Valintasi, the language has represented Lagoa before in the World Hit Festival but Ía hopes to do much better than that result, and bring the imperiled language to the international stage.

Cajdi vàz'hod, cajdi zacat, s'cajduiu noçh sredh duhàv
Ia ne boiush, ia ne boiush, ia ne boiush temnotì
Mì lêtaiem, mì lêtaiem, mì lêtaiem sredh duhàv

I do not fear, I do not fear, I do not fear the darkness
We are flying, we are flying, we are flying among the spirits
And we do not fear the dark

"Achaea!"
.
Havaraki Káümálöissá
- WILDCARD -
Tune: PSY ft. CL - "DADDY"

Havaraki Káümálöissá, or Panic In The Toilets, scored their appearance in Starfall after winning a public poll on the Starfall crystallomatrix shard, to the delight of teenage trolls and sexual fiends across the nation. Their controversial song "Achaea!" is set to close the night, and literally no one has any real clue as to how they will do in the international voting.

Can't you dick me down?
Can't you dick me down?
Can't you dick me down?

Boy, where'd you catch that thotty from?
Where'd you catch that thotty from?
Where'd you catch that thotty from?

I caught it in Achaea!
I caught it in Achaea!
I caught it, caught it
Boy, where'd you catch that thotty from?

Sdarot Rothschild is heading to WorldVision 89

After an explosive night of songs, voting, and entertainment, the Kishraeli entry to the 89th edition of the WorldVision Song Contest has been chosen. Receiving a total of 192 points, including an impressive 104 from the televoters, alternative-rock band Sdarot Rothschild is heading to wherever the contest will be held with their song 'Mahari Na' (Please Hurry). The group, formed two years before amongst students at Rakaphy State University will be performing in a professional capacity live for the first time, but they are backed by years of performing experience between them. Their song was a surprise winner of the night, narrowly pipping the jury vote with 12 points from the Elejami and Achaean juries, before storming to a televote victory with a 19 point lead on their closest competitors, giving them a lead of some 27 points over runner up Tal Turjeman. The song represents a new musical direction for the Kishraeli entries in the contest, which have more recently tread the line of safe pop songs - a formula which has worked well for the country, who have finished on the podium in 3 of the last 4 contests.

AXUVA RETURNS TO WORLDVISION WITH LEILA HWANG REPRESENTING THE NATION WITH HER DESTINYVISION WINNING SONG, "ELEVATED"

Image

Leila Hwang will represent Axuva after winning the Axuvian National Final contest "Destinyvision" which was ultimatley supported for the 88th edition of Worldvision, but Axuva pulled out of the competition after there was suspicions of mistreatment behind the scenes on the Destinyvision show, and destinyvision works as more than just a national final. It serves as a reality show and it shows weeks of training, performances, and more. Suspicions came along after Inya, a member of GIRL PLANET 999 tweeted that she "no longer wanted to be on the competition" and was "exhausted" which ultimatley caused her to leave the group and the competition as a whole, resulting in their participation in Destinyvision to end and brought huge controversy to the show, causing Destinyvision to come to a pause as well during it's second cycle, ending the participation of Axuva in Worldvision during the 88th edition. Destinyvision is currently under review and TPNB-X announces that the national final for now is "collapsed."

Axuva Today Network [ATN] Today we announce that the Axuvian Government now recognizes The Russian Language as an Official Language, Korean and English were spoken in the beginning, but there were Russians too, russians were forgotten and their language were not recognized due to the things they did in the past, but now their language is a official language of Axuva, and there will now be 3 official languages instead of two.

ALEZIAN BROADCASTING AUTHORITY PRESENTS....

Image

And welcome to the results show! Six acts already presented their songs to the world, and we can't wait to see who will get the trophy and who will represent North Alezia in the Worldvision Song Contest! Allright! We can start with the jury votes! And we do have a televoting segment later which we change again to ensure fun and excitement.

First up, let's see how the international juries as a whole voted. We'd like to say thank you to our friends from Carrelie, Todlichebujoku, Elejamie, Beepee, Achaean Republic, Kalosia, Pemecutan, Malta Comino Gozo, Ertzei Kishim, Britonisea, and Polkopia.
Image
Correct you are! Zafizamarrah is in the lead, with 112 points. But remember, we're still on the jury phase.

And now, the moment that can make and break someone's trophy and ticket. The televoting. 48,699,489 people exactly has voted for what they think the best song to represent North Alezia. The way it works are, each region will get a percentage of those votes, and then 72 points will be allocated accordingly to each's televote percentage. All right. We will reveal all at the same time. Anddddd......

Image
It looks like Zafizamarrah is once again, the heart of the people! Getting 35% of the public vote is CRAZY.

Well, and after all that counting, all we have to do is add televote and jury points together. Which we only need to move some numbers, bring back those jury numbers back in... And...

Image

Well, would you look at that! By the way, the left is televote numbers, and the right is jury numbers. What a massive margin, and obviously with the blue number right there showing us here in Makoshmemaim who won... It is INDEED

Image

IT IS INDEED TRUE, THE CAPITAL IS BACK AT THE GAME, CONGRATULATIONS ZAFIZAMARRAH, YOU ARE THE WINNER OF ALMA SEASON SEVEN! CONGRATULATIONS! WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR YOUR SONG AGAIN, PLEASE! CONGRATULATIONS!

*Arlianna walks back up the stage, receives the glass mask trophy and the ticket to Worldvision Song Contest and reprised her song*

That's all from us here at Makoshmemaim Hall, thank you all for joining us this season, and see you next season!

World, stop voting now!

Semi Finals 1 & 2 for the Landa vy Polkopiya have both concluded, meaning that it's time to reveal who will be qualifying to the Grand Final for a chance to win one of Polkopia's biggest annual music award shows in the country. The winner of the Landa vy Polkopiya will have the opportunity to represent Polkopia at the Worldvision Song Contest - the largest music competition in the multiverse! This edition, the Landa vy Polkopiya drew interest from eight different nations, with each of them sending a team of music experts to vote on who was to qualify for the Grand Final. The two qualifying acts from each semi-final are decided in this matter, whereas the Wildcard spot is awarded to a non-qualifying entry that the Polkopian jury feels as if though it deserves a place in the Grand Final. With the four qualifiers and one Wildcard spot, there are to be five acts competing in the Grand Final, each of them vying for the top spot in the competition.

Semi Final 1 Votes:

Joe King, President of These American States

" We faced hardships. We Struggled. We're Winner's though...
That's why when all this hooplah was over, I said, Joe.... i said...I said...."

The American President stared blankly into the camera...

"Oh yeah, The Song Contest.... same old song and dance, but it won't be, not this time."

Joe King stood quickly, almost too quickly, pointing adamantly toward the camera.

"And i promise you" said the President, emphatically.
"That there will be no more Chicanery, Asininity or Rapscallion-ism from These American States.

It's time to heal, people.
Lest by-gones be by-gone!

I'm President Joe King, and I Approve THIS Message...."
