The Visayan Contingent to the Treaty of Subic Bay Site is demanding answers from their New Filipino counterparts in light of last night's failed rocket attack on a Visayan town originating from the Marquisate of Sorsogon. The rocket attack was intercepted by land-based Counter Rocket, Artillery, and Mortar systems over the town of Allen, SM; rumors that the attack was a test of New Luzon's latest rocket artillery system abound in online commentary.

Defense analysts have suggested the rockets used in last night's failed attack from New Luzon, intercepted by Visayan C-RAM systems over Allen, Samar, were the products of a New Filipino missile program with roots dating back to the early 1970s, during the antebellum rule of then-President Ferdinand Marcos, Senior. While the original program envisioned, among other things, rocket artillery operating on the same principle as the Katyusha rockets of World War 2, the current program, nicknamed Santa Barbara Reborn accounting for the dearth of open-source information, is rumored to envision a family of missiles ranging from tactical ballistic missiles to long-rang air defense and anti-ship missiles.
