@Anastasija Kladnov: Ah, I see. No need to apologize though, we all feel like that sometimes. Before Uni, I felt like I was very smart (arrogant of me, I know) but when I began Uni like 3 years ago, I feel a bit dumb now, now that I can't seem to get basic things right the first time :P. I understand where you're coming from, so don't worry about it :)

@Sunshine Lavender Thank you, I do feel like that more than I should. Don’t worry you are doing well as you have been accepted. When I applied at first it would look like I was but when I went to enrol I was rejected harshly to say the least. Anyways I’m here to help you feel better if you need it.

@Jalnatzic the Greatest I disagree comrade - capitalist are worse. Communist don't make you criminal for sharing music or fixing own computer. USA, DMCA, RIAA, MPAA - no difference. All work for big corporation. Communist don't deny poor people health care or let them starve on street. And communist don't let rich celebrity or CEO buy justice.

"Free" capitalist USA has more prisoner than China and India even though less people, and most are for little thing which are not crime in my country - sharing music, smoking weed, drinking in public, that kind of thing. And yet serious crime is out of control there. They should learn from Yerbanistan's system. No prison because prison is useless. If criminal can be fixed with fine, whipping, educational labor - fix them. Works 99 % of time. And for 1 % bullet solves problem. Result - crime gone.

@Anastasija Kladnov: Imho, getting rejected from a school isn't a failure on your part, it just means that maybe that the school you applied to isn't the best place for you to study at. I only got accepted to the school I'm going to (which is the Crabaiaian Academy of Secular Arts; which if you are asking, there are religious universities albeit they're Hellenist and not Christian and yes they're actually state-funded) because I happened to graduate from High School at the same time that the Scholarship Act was passed, and since I had studied in an Art elective in all my years in High School, I was eligible for a scholarship under said Act.

Valência Conceição Holy Catholic State of Portugal

Exciting news, everybody! I've been appointed as my country's first Minister of Technology. In this new position, I'll be overseeing the design, development and research of computer-based technologies for the government, as well as laying the groundwork for their eventual roll-out and adoption in the broader society. This will bring the Holy Catholic State up to date with the rest of the world, while taking care not to displace any of the religious and cultural traditions that define Portugal's identity as a nation and people.

Francisco Escudeiro Holy Catholic State of Portugal

I still think that computers are a gateway to sin and degeneracy. But I would never doubt Civil Director Salazar, as he is a pious man of the Lord and brave hero of the nation. So I trust and respect his God-guided decision to appoint Miss Conceição as the Minister of Technology. May her work bring the people closer to Christ. Deus vult and Salve Salazar.

@Maxim Yachingov (Максим Ячингов) Senhor, do not fall into that trap. It is right to oppose the globalist banks and corporations (to worship money is to worship Satan), but it is wrong to equate that with the poisonous teachings of Marx. Rather than suppressing Christian worship, the state should be promoting it as the one and only true faith.

@Sunshine Lavender All academia is a waste of time (and money, if you are in a country with privatized education) at best. At worst, it indoctrinates people to reject the Lord and believe in false teachings from heretics like Galileo, who wanted to force his heliocentrism theory on everyone because he was a pagan sun worshipper with a plot to destroy the Church.

Strange at first they seemed to want to have me attend, I have a feeling someone must have said something looking back on it. It would be nice to study history but I suppose I can do that in my own time if needs be.

@Valência Conceição Congratulations on your new job, I hope it works out well for you.

@Maxim Yachingov (Максим Ячингов) For your first sentence, wrong on all accounts. The left hates those who have any skills so fixing a computer will mean death, they also deny people healthcare if they lack "social credit" and yes starvation has always been associated with communist regimes.

"Capitalist" America is under corporate Marxism, where multinationals run the economy while the far left owns everything else. They have forced abortions and are forcing straight people to divorce and marry gays while their education system is dominated by fags in drag who want to indoctrinate children into the gay lifestyle using the Gay Kit. As for celebrities buying justice, this is also with the left as they do as they please while saying leftist slogans. Leftist mobs also terrorise the victims and their families.

@Sym. Gus McFarland: I heard you finished reading a book called "The Scrolls of Cronus" when we talked about Amogus. What's it about?

REPLY

Sym. Gus McFarland Barnumberg, Cavirfi

@Jake, Tetris Guy: Hmm, if I could simplify it, it basically retells the story of Cronus recalling his time as King of the Gods, he talks about how the Gods had a greater discipline and passion for their domain and power because of rules he made that made sure the Gods worked together in the best interest of their subjects (ex.: Us, Humans). He goes on to rant about how Zeus (who overthrows him) abolished the rules in the name of "freeing" the Gods from his "tyrannical" reign, thus degrading the discipline and encouraging the loss of passion by the Gods to work in the benevolence of their subjects.

It's one of the six episodes of our school's main scripture called the "Papyros Thou Eksi Theos" or as it's called in English; The Scrolls of Six Gods. Each episode has 50 scrolls, 25 dedicated to mythology and 25 dedicated to prayer and worship. The book has in total 300 scrolls, 150 dedicated to mythology and 150 dedicated to prayer and worship.

Cronus is part of the leadership of the Rebellion against Zeus which consists of 6 Gods which is led by Coeus. The book tells the stories of said 6 Gods.

OOC: Again this is not canonical Greek Mythology, this is just Gus speaking the beliefs of his school.

Fr. (CDR) Tecumseh C. Piañar Bacolod, NG

In the Ordinary Form, the Gospel reading for tomorrow, the First Sunday of Advent, is Lk 21:25-28, 34-36, which covers The Coming of the Son of Man and the Exhortation to be Vigilant. In the Extraordinary Form, the Gospel reading is Lk 21:25-33, which replaces the Exhortation with The Lesson of the Fig Tree.

But when these signs begin to happen, stand erect and raise your heads because your redemption is at hand.
-- Lk 21:28, NABRE

Advent is the beginning of a new liturgical year, encompassing the four Sundays before Christmas. In this season, we prepare ourselves for the celebration of the Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Return at the Second Coming. Indeed, the theme for the First Sunday of Advent is looking forward to the Second Coming, which heralds the fullness of the reign of God and the consummation of the universe, mankind, and salvation--in other words, the Last Judgment.

The resurrection of all the dead, "of both the just and the unjust" (Acts 24:15), will precede the Last Judgment. This will be "the hour when all who are in the tombs will hear [the Son of man's] voice and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment" (Jn 5:28-29) Then Christ will come "in his glory, and all the angels with him. . . . Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and he will place the sheep at his right hand, but the goats at the left. . . . And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life (Mt 25:31,32,46)."
In the presence of Christ, who is Truth itself, the truth of each man's relationship with God will be laid bare (Cf. Jn 12:4). The Last Judgment will reveal even to its furthest consequences the good each person has done or failed to do during his earthly life.
The Last Judgment will come when Christ returns in glory. Only the Father knows the day and the hour; only he determines the moment of its coming. Then through his Son Jesus Christ he will pronounce the final word on all history. We shall know the ultimate meaning of the whole work of creation and of the entire economy of salvation and understand the marvelous ways by which his Providence led everything towards its final end. The Last Judgment will reveal that God's justice triumphs over all the injustices committed by his creatures and that God's love is stronger than death. (Cf. Song 8:6)

-- CCC 1038-1040

Sunset tomorrow also heralds the beginning of what our Jewish cousins celebrate as Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, according to the Hebrew Calendar. Chag Urim Sameach, cousins.

The Prince speaks in detail about what hew did during the Great War, from the Batlle of Shadforad, where he and his squad fought for nearly every street of the city. To the trench warfare where rigged explosives and gas attacks were common, where his elder brother Beldred (later Beldred XI "the Mad") was driven insane by shellshock. Other examples of how little mercy was shown to the enemy such as how he shot a surrendering *Austrian officer and left him there to bleed out. How he saw villages burned out by the invading armies and how by the end of the war he noticed the damages done to his men by the way. While admitting to partial guilt over what happened to them and his brother he understood this what was needed for the defence of his country.

*Not sure what the equivalent of Austria is in the KY universe so for intents and purposes we'll have Austria be the placeholder for this.
