@Sven Vajllöa Fundamentally, the concept of a political party is simply an organisation for the promulgation and enactment of both theoretical ideology and practical policy. The issue which underlies the instability the existence of the party sows in certain countries is not the party itself -- it is the overabundance of parties. The people, and thus the state, have one interest -- and therefore, only one party is necessary. The state without direction is meaningless; the state with an overabundance thereof is contradictory, anarchic and doomed to fail.
