The Prime Minister looked over to her husband. “David, would you be up to dancing later?” He thought for a second. “Ah, sure. Of course we probably should for the couple and all”
Back with the couple, Alexandra still seemed to be nursing her plate. Jack had decided that while most of the guests monitored their portions better, he would stay with his wife and get seconds so that Alexandra wouldn’t feel any imagined pressure that he would be impatient with the fact that his beloved was taking her time. “You’ve never been able to keep up with me, but I’ve decided that I’ll try to pass you again on the second lap anyways”, he teased. His new plate was filled to the brim. Despite the slow or even tired nature of the rest of the guests, the strong, young Marshall acted unbothered by the amount he was eating, putting on an indifferent demeanor.

Seeing her husband's new plate she remarked "Let's see if you can finish that before I finish this" she said pointing towards her plate with a fork.

In the time he had known Alexandra, she had figured out how to push all of his buttons, and that he was certainly the competitive type.

Unluckily for Alexandra, Jack was one of those people who, in part thanks to years of military training and sports, had an incredibly fast metabolism. The lean Corrish Marshall had it all: turkey, ham, chicken, lobster, mashed potatoes, squash, broccoli, carrots, corn, green beans, beets, salad and bread, not to mention about three glasses of wine. He noticed Alexandra, still at around her pace, trying to keep up with him and playfully teased her.

Jack was able to keep going without any slowing down in sight, until he unexpectedly ground to a halt. To his own surprise, by the time he was about two thirds through his second plate, the aching feeling of eating far too much food seemed near. Just to his luck, Alexandra seemed to have noticed the rogue groaning sound of his complaining stomach. He glanced over at Alexandra. “Well, er.. how’re you doing Lexie?”

At this point, he decided that it was time to concede to his wife. “Alright, alright, alright. I give up. You win, Lexie.”, he admitted with a little bit of a smile, patting a hand on her shoulder. “I’ll never finish this.”

But his son my maternal grandfather would remain in Hopal he would serve as a scout in the military but would later become a park ranger. My father and his father worked as goldsmiths, though my father now works within the Ministry of Culture as Assoicate Director of Preservation. He plans to retire later this year or next year, he's received job offers from Hopton College to work as a professor of Culture or History. My sister Alexandra is a school teacher and is quite good with kids. I work in the military and was very quickly promoted to Vice Marshall and served as Commander of the Forces in Sharifistan after winning a medal in a previous war in Sharifistan. Overall I would like to think we're nice people, but people sometimes are scared of us because of their pre-conceived notion of a positions. But enough about us, what about your family?"

"It seems we have a lot in common, and I'm sure we'll get along quite well. But I'm not sure Alexandra has decided where she wants to teach, or if she wants to continue to teach at all. But I would think she would want to finish the school year in Hopal before moving. What I am quite sure of however is that Alexandra has chosen the right person, and along with it an excellent family."
