ICDN Security Council (ICDN SC Members Only)

Is anyone else seeing multiple applications to the ICDN from nations that were founded literally less than a few days ago? I don't mean to be suspicious but it's really strange how so many are applying to join. I think we should for security reasons approve only new members that were founded at least a few months ago, or at least vet the applications more; such as not accepting applications from nations that haven't utilized the forums often either.

Coleisa is one such nation, they were founded yesterday and their only post is their ICDN application. Very strange. Another might be Gorvina, they do have a few posts already but they already are claiming to be an ICDN member in their signature.

Although this is just an idea, what do you guys think?

Suid Africana is good though, their nation has existed for more than a year so I think they are in the clear if someone with the power to approve can go approve it.

"I think this would be reasonable as a temporary policy. We already have the week-long policy, where you need to have been founded for at least a week before being accepted to the ICDN. But I think that can be temporarily revised. We vote Aye on this temporary measure."

I think our best course of action moving forward with these individuals is to just carry on business as usual and not take their bait.

OOC: There's another nation trying to join us that is 1 day old. I'm really suspicious of these ones honestly, don't think we should admit them until they're at least a month or two active with forum posts and such. I'm still not sure as to how these day old nations make their first posts in the ICDN before anywhere else on the forums.

If any of you have puppets trying to join do make it known so we don't get suspicious lmfao. I'm suspicious that this Queenisia trying to join us is a puppet of someone trying to sabotage us but can't join the ICDN with their main account because then we'd obviously say no.

"Other than the civil war in Tzakistan, which is already entering peace talks, not much. The ICDN has been dormant for some time now, though, and I feel that it's time for the ICDN to regain it's place on the world stage. We don't want to end up like LITA, do we?"

An aide quickly rushes over to the Hopalian Representative handing a report on the situation in Tzatzikistan to the uninformed retired Admiral. He skims over the report and gives his quick analysis and some questions "Well we wouldn't want to see this democratization movement in Tzatzikistan be crushed, so we ought to give our support to the Constitutional Monarchy. I agree with you that we should be sending in some aid, there seems to be some who want to take advantage of the situation in Tzatzikistan for their own personal gain, correct? And what's this with Zarnicovia Nova? An ICDN Member! And who is this President Jerry Corner?"

An aide calls up to the Arvan representatives room and tells them that they need to stop relaxing and come down to the SC room. Five minutes later Ioseph Del Olmo arrives at his seat.

"I would like to welcome all back to these hallowed halls, I was a little preoccupied taking a state mandated relaxation course. Now we agree that we should encourage Tzatzikistan to become democratic, however we should be wary of forcing something onto a nation. We also believe that sending aid is the best way to encourage Tzatzikistan."

An aide calls up to the Arvan representatives room and tells them that they need to stop relaxing and come down to the SC room. Five minutes later Ioseph Del Olmo arrives at his seat.

The South Americanastanian delegate drunkenly stumbles into his seat to relieve his GA counterpart, who had been substituting for him. He says "I sure did!" before passing out in his chair.

The Countesian representative walks into the room but trips. As she hits the floor she drops her can of baked beans, which splatters everywhere. Baked beans now cover the floor and herself. Strangely, they weren't warmed up at all.

"Sorry, I'll eat it after we've finished this meeting. It's been a while since our last one." She said with a smile.
