Trials are taking place for various war crimes and crimes against humanity. Among those on trial are Major Khalid Ibrahim Khan (former military governor of Pashtunistan City), a number of Muqaddams (Lieutenant-Colonels) and the entirety of the high command of Maoist Sharifistan.
Many heads of state are also indicted and will likely be arrested if they ever set foot outside their countries of citizenship.

OOC: they will be temporarily permitted to practice law in Sharifistan (as the defendants’ lawyers) but you’d probably want a Maturidi Hanafi shariah expert on the team.

E-mails are sent to defendants in areas ranging from Saudi Arabia to Germany.
If the defendants refuse to appear or send lawyers they will be tried in absentia.Their lawyers are also invited to attend.

The Maoists request trial by jury and so a jury is composed to try them containing 12 Maoist musicians.

The court-martial hears “not guilty” pleas from all the captured Pashtunistani Army officers,
most claiming their locally recruited soldiers were “out of control” regarding murders of prisoners of war, they argued the oath of abjuration was a “justified counter-insurgency tactic” and that the
judicial killings of homosexuals were “justified actions which was anyway undertaken by civilian judges in all but one case.”

As Exodia acknowledges Sharifistan only and purely as a terrorist failed state, no reaction is given besides a cease-and-desist order written by a government intern. The story of the trials struggles to make proper news headlines.

OOC: intentionally killing random members of the civilian population (Sharifistani or foreign) is illegal in Sharifistan, the law being strictly enforced on it's military.

Sharifistan refuses to cease and desist saying "you are the only terrorist state, you unlawfully killed civilians during the Invasion not us.", it proceeds to indict the Foreign Minister, the Chief Justice, the head of Air Force Police and the head of the Exodian Air Force as well as the intern who wrote the letter.
In addition they are asked "What on earth provoked you to attack us?"

As Germany neither recognizes Sharifistan nor does Sharifistan have any power to enfore such rulings, having just seen massive infrastructure damage and complete governmental collapse resulting in warlordism, Germany simply sends a letter to Sharifistan condemning their "kangaroo courts" and "show trials".
