Here is the IC Thread of the 37th Annual PAMPAS Academy Award, a national awarding ceremony for excellence in Pemecutan cinematic industry. This edition also welcomed foreign film for several international award. Two main events that will be posted or run in the IC thread are Nomination Announcement and Awarding Night. Other than that post about film news, winners prediction and attendance announcement can be made here. As this is an IC thread, please keep the post in character only.

The afternoon of February 15th looks very crowded in one district of the largest city in Pemecutan. Many reporters are spotted arriving at the PAMPAS Headquarter. And the occasion is of course the announcement of 37th Annual PAMPAS Academy Award nominees. This year event is quite special as for the first time foreign films are included and given their own categories. Although the number of foreign films entries are still limited but it is showing a good path.

After waiting for about an hour, all the reporters are being escorted into the press room of the headquarter where the announcement will likely to be held. They are seated nicely with the cameramen are standing at the back. They are preparing their camera for a better angle to capture the moment. After a quick preparation, the room door is closed for the announcement event.

Senior Pemecutan actress, Kadek Oka Sulati, walking elegantly into the room. She is smiling nicely to the reporters that are already waiting for her. She is standing in front of a podium to the left of the room with a huge screen at the wall to her right. Kadek Oka Sulati is known for her latest appearance in Until We Meet Again. The film win Best Film in 36th PAMPAS Academy Award.

Kadek Oka Sulati (KOS): Om Swastiastu, Good Afternoon everyone. Guess I have to speak in English because we are not only having a domestic reporters here but also from abroad. So welcome everyone here today for the 37th Annual PAMPAS Academy Award nomination announcement. We have some change this year with the addition of 5 new categories which is created solely for the international films.

The reporter are looking taking their notes while some camera flashes can be seen capturing the moment.

KOS: For the first part, we will open with the general categories. These are categories that always given in the ceremony. And our first category is Excellence in Original Song. As usual there are 3 nominees that being selected for this year. And they are....

KOS: The second category for this afternoon is Excellence in Documentary Feature. As there are only 2 movies in this category that being produce this year so both movies are selected as the nominees.

KOS: Moving on to our third category. We have Excellence in Short Feature Film. The nominees are...

KOS: Wow, we can see that we have a surprise nominee there. (Her smile is widen)

KOS: Now we will shift a bit and looking for some new categories from the international feature films. The first category is Excellence in Female Acting by International Feature Film. And the nominees are...

KOS: Next is also a new category for international acting. Nominees of Excellence in Male Acting by International Feature Film are....

KOS: And we will continue with acting categories but now it is from domestic side. There are 4 acting categories for domestic side and the first that we will announce is Excellence in Acting by Female Supporting. And they are....

There are a loud murmur in the audiences as the nomination is reveal. Seems like some of the predictions are wrong.

KOS: I hope the result is not shocking you. Moving on next is Excellence in Acting by Male Supporting. The nominees are...

KOS: for the next category is Excellence in Acting by Female Lead. Their nomination are...

KOS: So far we have a very interesting nominations in Acting Category. Next we are moving on to the next category.
