The Results of Danlina's Next Star Song Contest Are Finally Here!

Image

As per the rules of the contest, out of a total of 90 points, each song has received:
  1. "Fade In, Fade Out" by Mouse Romance - 23 points
  2. "Go On" by Vlekj Rok - 17 points
  3. "Luci's House Party" by Luci's Goulash - 12 points
  4. "Moscow My Love" by Automobillen - 16 points
  5. "How Great Would It Be" by Roman Kuki - 22 points

And by a margin of only one point away from the next song, the winner of Danlina's Next Star Song Contest is

FADE IN, FADE OUT by Mouse Romance!

Running in the streets half naked
Fading in and out
running away without a purpose
Destination nowhere
I feel like I can jump
I feel like I can fly
I feel like I can conquer everything
And when I hear your voice
It all falls in place

Fade in
Fade out
Because it’s hard to think of you
Fade in
Fade out
And I can’t do much
To have you

Gazing at your precious smile
And I have to look away (have to look away)
Knowing how much fond your girlfriend is of you
And now I must try
And push my hate aside
And I just can’t seem
To let it all slide
So I go back to my vice
Just to do it all again

Fade in
Fade out
Because it’s hard to think of you
Fade in
Fade out
And I can’t do much
Fade in
Fade out
Because it’s hard to think of you
Fade in
Fade out
And I can’t do much

To hold you tight
Is all that I can strive for
But you can not
love me like you love her, oh baby
Now I must forget it all
And try to drift away

Fade in
Fade out
Because it’s hard to think of you
Fade in
Fade out
And I can’t do much
Fade in
Fade out
Because it’s hard to think of you
Fade in
Fade out
And I can’t do much
To have you

But you can’t
love me like you love her
Now I must forget
And try to drift away
Oh baby

Another ElejamieVision had came and passed. Five songs were performed and were eventually judged by panels of foreign judges and by the voting public. And after a long night with a record-breaking TWELVE foreign juries judging the national final, the votes have been tallied up and two winners had been selected. For those who had voted, one of the winners might not be a massive surprise but let's still see the results shall we?

In fifth place, with 72 total points, it's The Humanoids with "Class of '85". Shame, that was one of my favourites and I had an idea of how I wanted to do it. Oh well.

In fourth place, with 76 total points, it's Sam Brown with "Sinking Ship".

In third place with 102 total points, it's Antonia with her song "Just as the Days Go By (MH2 Dance Mix)". She will participate in the special third-placers NF in a few contests, alongside Lisa Park and her Gang, and Ramón Calvente.

And as you've expected Kyandii will be representing the country at this upcoming contest and the one after. But which song of hers will be which? In second place with 104 points and, as a result, our representative for the 89th WorldVision Song Contest is the song she did with Dr. Dan, "I'm Your Robot".

Which means, ladies and gentlemen (along with everyone inside and outside that spectrum if you don't fit into either of those categories), in first place with an astounding 172 points, it's her solo song "Lotus". She will represent the nation at the 88th WorldVision Song Contest in either Kajoyo in Saviera, Flavezztowlander City in Rhim Flavezztowland or Mont-Depelier in Carrelie and we wish the best of luck to her.

Ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming to Alma's results show!

Before we announce who will earn this glass decked mask shaped trophy... We'll tell you some things first!
The way Alma works is different than Alezimania. We have updated the way North Alezia picks its entry.

Firstly, we shall read the jury positions and the accumulated points from the juries from North Alezia, Britonisea, Rhim Flavezztowland, Malta Comino Gozo, Beepee, Elejamie, Hafamarimet, Ertzei Kishim, Belgaam, Polkopia, Achaean Republic, and Todlichebujoku (applauses for them).

Secondly, if you watch the (IC North Alezia only) recap of the competition, you may saw a number or a mask-shaped QR code! Those two allows you the North Alezian public to vote and we shall continue with this system. Anyway, we have a total of 15 MILLION people calling us throughout the week and we can say that democracy even touches music. Anyway, the votes shall be put into a ranking. The song with the most public votes shall get 12 points, the second 10 points, and so forth until the sixth with 5 points. The televote points shall be added with the jury into a total final score.

Okay! We ALL want to know who's going to Worldvision for us. Let's see.... We shall start now.

ROUND 1
INTERNATIONAL JURY VOTES

Okay, now. IN 6th place. With 77 points, is....

I feel really sad having to read that. Well.. IN 5th place. With 81 points, is

I'm also sad after reading that. Okay. IN 4th place... With 100 points, is... WELL I AM SURPRISED!

Image

I really thought that would do better. Time for the top 3. The third place and the runner up would receive a wooden mask. But the winner. He or They or She is going to receive an additional GLASS MASK and THE OFFICIAL TICKET TO REPRESENT NORTH ALEZIA IN THE WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST

IN THIRD PLACE, WITH 102 POINTS. IT'S.....

Image

OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY. THE RUNNER UP, WITH 105 POINTS. YOU FINALLY BROKE THE NATIONAL JOKE THAT YOU'RE CURSED TO BECOME LAST EVERY SEASON, ELEGANTLY! CONGRATULATIONS!

ROUND 2
NATIONAL TELEVOTES

OKAY WE HAVE EARNED THE INTERNATIONAL JURY RESULTS! NOW. TIME TO SEE HOW THE NORTH ALEZIAN PUBLIC FEELS! I'm just going to remind everyone here, the public votes shall be translated into jury votes. with 12,10,8,7,6,5. Now let's see... After people called us and clicked their interactive TV set box, here are the results that can CHANGE everything.

6th place in public vote. With only 0.16% of the vote, which translates to 24,000 votes, and thus 5 points, is given to...
Image

5th place in the public vote. A MASSIVE jump with 4.15%, translated into 622,500 votes, and thus 6 points, is given to...

World, stop voting now!

Semi Finals 1 & 2 for the Landa vy Polkopiya have both concluded, meaning that it's time to reveal who will be qualifying to the Grand Final for a chance to win one of Polkopia's biggest annual music award shows in the country. The winner of the Landa vy Polkopiya will have the opportunity to represent Polkopia at the Worldvision Song Contest - the largest music competition in the multiverse! This edition, the Landa vy Polkopiya drew interest from eight different nations, with each of them sending a team of music experts to vote on who was to qualify for the Grand Final. The two qualifying acts from each semi-final are decided in this matter, whereas the Wildcard spot is awarded to a non-qualifying entry that the Polkopian jury feels as if though it deserves a place in the Grand Final. With the four qualifiers and one Wildcard spot, there are to be five acts competing in the Grand Final, each of them vying for the top spot in the competition.

Semi Final 1 Votes:

The following scoreboard shows the results for Semi Final 1. Juries from Antahbrantahstan, Beepee, Elejamie, Ertzei Kishim, Malta Comino Gozo, Saintrabina, and Todlichebujoku have all voted in this semi-final.

Image

Semi Final 2 Votes:

The following scoreboard shows the results for Semi Final 2. Juries from the Achaean Republic, Britonisea, Hafamarimët, Natanya, Rhim Flavezztowland, Scotatrova and Waisnor have all voted in this semi-final.

Congratulations to all of the qualifiers for this edition's Grand Final, set to be held 24 hours from now. Once the Grand Final is finished, we will have a clear and distinct winner as to who will be representing Polkopia at the upcoming Worldvision Song Contest. As always, the PNB thanks the participating nations' broadcasters for sharing interest in the Polkopian music scene, and your contribution is well-regarded. An NA MAKES A WORLDVISION COMEBACK

The most recent edition of the Landa vy Polkopiya has come to an end, and with it, Polkopia's entry to the next Worldvision Song Contest has been decided. An Na, who represented Polkopia in Worldvision 84 and placed third, will be returning to the competition once more, where she will sing Stand By You. An Na secured her win in this edition of the Landa vy Polkopiya after building a seemingly unassailable lead during the jury votes, earning 97 points and receiving the maximum amount of points from four of the 14 voting nations. This lead proved to be enough and despite coming third in the domestic televote, she finished the contest with 176 points, only two points above runner-up MAKINA. An Na has confirmed with the media that her song is undergoing a lyrical change, however the tune will remain the same. Stay tuned for updates regarding the Polkopian entry to Worldvision 88!

We have a winner!

We thank all the juries and the Achaean televoters at Rockanola 97.5 FM that have contributed to this year’s RockVision. And with a one-point difference, the winner of this year’s special national final that will keep rocking on for the Achaean Republic in WorldVision is:

A New Entry from Hafamarimët

Fourth River Underground, the band slated to represent Hafamarimët at WorldVision 88, have backed out of the competition. The singer and main songwriter, Sahtë Savage, tweeted "i guess it just didn't feel like the right time to us, this song means so much and i don't think we're ready to put that on such a big international stage just yet" while retweeting the tweet from TVH announcing that they were withdrawing as contestants.

The question quickly became, who would take their place? And just as quickly as that question was asked, it was answered in the form of Vnëgmëh Nučajam also retweeting TVH's announcement of the withdrawal, simply including one emoji wearing sunglasses. Eventually TVH clarified his meaning by announcing that, as second-place winners of Čuk WorldVision 88vun, TVH's national final, Vnëgmëh and the band The Hangovers would have an opportunity to present their song "Internet Is Fake."

"Totally understand why Fourth River pulled out, their song is definitely super deep and personal, so it's scary to perform something like that to like, hundreds of millions of people," guitarist and frontman Vïtal Ëtan said in an interview on Past Your Bedtime, hosted by repeat WorldVision votes presenter Bïdnel Halnetka. "We're just like having a good time though, so of course we're happy to go to WorldVision!"

The song represents a shift away from the earnestness of recent Hafamari entries and is clearly destined to lighten the mood of the evening, even if only for three minutes.

Song Title:Internet Is Fake

Was thinking of taking the edition off, but I'm gonna enter.
Esportivan and Proud.
<drawk> If the entirety of the nation of Ethane was covered in a single cubic foot of Ethane on its surface, lighting it all on fire would cause a 5.44 megaton blast.
