(OOC: If we keep the clause in we could cause a fuss if SM does try to integrate and have proof it is not the real ICDN. We could even add a clause saying 'The name International Consortium of Democratic Nations, and all its direct subsidiaries, shall not be used for any purposes unless a majority of members at the time of disbandment agree to the use'.

This would mean SM technically couldn't use the name unless that cannon wasn't recognised. However, not recognising that cannon open a rabbit hole of problems, such as the ICDN still existing.)

Sedge already ruled that he can use it whenever he wants and that IP doesn't matter, so creating a direct successor is our best shot. He's decided that since his integration was passed before our disbandment, the GA has to approve of our dissolution.

At this point, making a direct successor is our best shot to knock him down a peg. Hell, we'll integrate the GA without their consent and see how they like it.

Eh, I'm willing to bet that it won't. Additionally, this isn't a "wait and see" thing. SM's "integration" is apparently giving everyone membership and claiming we're in the alliance. The only winning play here is to make a successor and stick it to SM.

My plan right now is to set up a new alliance claiming direct heritage from the ICDN, leveraging the fact I'm currently leading the alliance in the claim, while using my reputation from other RPs to try to attract some II/NSRP heavyweights. Maybe try to push through a merger with CUSP, but they've been inactive for a while, so I doubt that will happen. Make a new flag, high quality OP, all those bells and whistles, and try to get the moral high ground through allowing members more freedom and input.

I'm thinking of naming it the "Free Nations Defense Association", how does that sound?
