THE LIBERTARIAN TREATY ALLIANCE FOR RADIOACTIVE DOOM (LIBTARD) APPLICATION THREAD
Intro
This is the application thread for my new alliance, LIBTARD, a coalition of socially liberal, economically conservative nations who are willing to protect each other in times of nuclear war. Perks of membership include access to Crabaiaian Nuclear Weapons, training for soldiers and citizens a like in the case of a nuclear war, funding for infrastructure, education, health, welfare, and various government services, and a shield in case, a war arises between you and an aggressor.
Context
On January 4, 2021, Crabaiaia declared Cold War on Zarnicovia Nova concerning several tensions on the new nation of New Hallin, Zarnicovia Nova identifies as a Mormonic-based, Far Left Nation, though this isn't the reason why Crabaiaia declared the Cold War, the differing ideologies may be and will used as a weapon.
LIBTARD has been built for Crabaiaia in an attempt to balance the state of power against Zarnicovia Nova (as of writing this Crabaiaia is outnumbered 3 to 1 in terms of power) and also to fight off the radical ends of both left and right wings.
Membership Guidelines
LIBTARD has guidelines for who can be a member and who cannot be a member, to be a member, you must follow the rules of LIBTARD and also not become a member of a sanctioned or embargoed alliance. A sanctioned alliance, is an alliance that LIBTARD has declared indirect, Cold War on. An embargoed alliance is an alliance that LIBTARD has declared direct, all-out war on.
Here are the set of rules that you must oblige to be a part of LIBTARD:
- Your nation must be at most 25% Authoritarian and at most 25% Left/Right on the political spectrum. There are no minimum standings required, 100% Libertarian and 100% Centrist Countries are allowed.
- Your nation CANNOT be Socialist, though some big-government policies are tolerated
- Your nation CANNOT have Conscription, volunteer-service countries only, conscription countries with conscentious objection and alternate service rights may be considered.
- Nuclear Weapons are unrestricted but you must not launch them at neutral countries or at countries that aren't in embargoed alliances.
- You must NOT be a member of any sanctioned or embargoed alliance.
- You are not required to aid your allies in war, IF you have a reasonable excuse.
- You are not required to participate in the Assembly or the HQ, or any other thread. Just promise to abide by the rules mentioned
