Course not, considering how attached I am to him. It'll just be a slight hurt and he'll probably be awake after a little while in his dreams, but the fact that it'd almost be one would still be one of the other issues if I actually go through with this. It's still in the consideration stages and a part of me doesn't think that it's all that practical; it's mainly just aesthetic impulse.

Everything for the aesthetic, of course :P

With how many characters I make just because of aesthetics I liked, it is perhaps a slight problem for me.

Same, honestly. Granted, most of mine have been one-shots, but sometimes inspiration just strikes too hard.

It's only in the conceptual phases, my idea, ah. Now, I could go down my list of accolades. It's not rife with war crimes, but it has a few eccentrics.

Well indeed, albeit I think that I don't have slaving dictators in our list, dictators yes, but the only slaving nation I know so far has been rejected. While the balconing issue, well I don't know if it will ever happen or no during the RP albeit I would have to talk that with the author that has that planned.

Aesthetically, I want it so I can go full OMORI/Sayonara Wild Hearts. Pragmatically, there is almost no way a balcony of nine other people (AARU, Gisara, D'aillisioux, Hazel, Luò) would let Eiko successfully vault over a railing.

Indeed, plus I can be certain the guards would do their best to evade that he does that also. However, who knows, perhaps he's close to but fails.

Indeed. It seems we have more industrialists and intellectuals alongside personalities of the arts more than the respective diplomatic and political guests; quite the interesting list.

I've noticed that, too, especially when remembering a similar occasion (just with fewer masks) in Schloss Zyng, Teressien a while back, which, judging by the number of heads of states present, it could easily have passed as a UN/WA summit ... I don't know, if most others in here followed the same line of thought as I did, or if this is purely coincidential - but I personally reckoned, that The Coof is still a thing in many places, including mine, so it didn't seem logical to me to send people essentially for running a country to an occasion like this in the middle of a pandemic. Industrialists and intellectuals can relatively safely be sent abroad (taking the usual precautions) in comparison.

In my case, the reason I only have the Visayan Ambassador and her husband would be because Inauguration Day is on the 25th...on top of the obvious "The Coof is still out there," but y'all get the point. Hypothetically, I could bring up additional political figures, but because Inauguration's in 2 weeks, all of the big names I have in mind will be planning for it.

Indeed, it is an interesting list - aside from the fact, that it obviously creates a different atmosphere from the usual balls around here, where HoSs and HoGs are so abundant one has to question the sanity of the ones organizing the security... more artists mean more artistic exchange, after all. ; )
By the way, Mervay, would you terribly mind, if my people were to arrive in Mervay via yacht? And if you don't mind, what would be the nearest appropriate marina?

An interesting point. Though, admittedly, one of the reasons I ask for my people being allowed to come by yacht is the Coof: The longer they stay at sea, the more quarantine time they have. ; )
But that aside, if it is permitted, there will be an explanation, that for example Aurelia did many of her duties in a sort-of home office (well, yacht office) setting. Alrich as well, although he would use the time to introduce Enya to government work.
That, of course, depends on whether or not AHSCA permits that.

I'm currently using the royal siblings for this insanity and have never gotten around to establishing embassies with Mervay (or anyone else here), so Val, Marti and Nick it is. Though Val and Princess Helena are actually sorority sisters, so she's got royal connections if anyone wants to use them :)

@Selkie: Indeed. Like Lillo said, one of your balls could had passed as the yearly UNGA Session without problem. As for the other, feel free to. The most closest port looking to the ocean would be Silvat or Chuelles and if not you have the port of Directus deep into the Crescere River and from there your people will be taken to the Central Station of the city for a train to Montrose which is located close to lake Ambler and has also a nice wiew of the Selumna Mountains alongside the hills around the city.

@Lillo: Indeed you have a point, plus we're earlier in the year too. Albeit I'm happy for the results and that this event has gained a lot of interest from you all, to which I'm thankful of. :) :)

The Ezharan political forces are extremely underdeveloped and not nearly as enjoyable to write (for lack of better term) as Eiko and AARU because I'm not sure of them just yet, although as mentioned earlier, Gisara does technically have political sway. For the most part, the Ezharan set is just all of my starry people, pun not intended. I technically have more developed folks for World Machine/Shwe civs — the Silent Monarchs, Sekka Verndara, Twin Diplomats of Psytronius — but I ended up fixating on D'aillisioux because I already have too many invited here. I was considering throwing in Sekka, but decided he might be too concerned for D'aillisiuox and would get in the way of heartfelt conversation with the lads™, which is why I invited Giucà instead, who besides that is here to develop Satis, and Norni, who's just gonna sorta be flexing his jewelry and bringing his work with him. I can't quite remember my thought process with inviting Luò but it probably relates to me going "idol plus idol."

Although on second thought, maybe Sekka would've made sense. The four of them would probably enjoy some other parental figure, considering how most of them lack a consistent, trustworthy pillar, although part of it is definitely their own perception of the matter. Still, Sekka would be very much accustomed to dealing with Eiko and Kasem because of D'aillisioux, if I were to sign him up. Gisara and AARU for the most part are more so elder siblings vibes to me, and Hasan is definitely older but he's probably too eccentric to give a heartfelt/wise message beyond him talking about fireworks.
As an aside, COVID is mysteriously absent from World Machine/Ezhara, just because I don't feel like writing that.

Gonna be a fun exchange considering most of my artists are using their artistry to mega cope, as we should hopefully see during the meteor shower. Would definitely be bonus points if I invited Argonautai, but only Ambrosio is important enough to be invited... unless there's space for a more average festal off of the castle, in which case I don't think I would be able to resist the urge for another Argonautai drama, as Brettenweld is currently possibly witnessing. OMORI has ruined me and I need to take out my absolute despair one way or another.
