It has several offices in the park, and is where many television shows and films are produced. In 2007, the park's new 'Archive Storage Centre' makes it a popular place to store digital copies of things that companies and organisations want to store. There is also a large underground bunker, aimed at protecting as much physical media as possible. The vault has 95% of all Wapistinian films and television shows since the 1890's, we are talking about this because there is plenty of space to store more media from other countries, if the agree to.

Moving forward, we would highly appreciate for users to declare applications from puppet nations (secondary nations). There is little IC change, particularly since membership is based on broadcasting organizations rather than countries. However this will help us keep track of the number of unique users represented, for technical purposes.

Regarding this, I just wanted to clarify that you guys are voting as users, not as broadcasters. For example, the user Britonisea has 4 broadcasters across 3 countries with full membership. However, he will be voting as Britonisea (i.e. himself), not as a specific country or broadcaster. The Individual Users portion of the membership list is simply to keep track of who's who and to allow for transparency.

Facilities inside the building aren't lacking by any means. Offices are able to house up to 522 people, and extra facilities such as restaurants and stores are located in the building's public side, ready for the IBA's employees to use.

Siéra Alba is a town located on the outskirts of Monterra, just a short drive away from the city. It got its name because the town was considered to have the best sunrise views in the vicinity of Monterra, and members of the nobility would stay there overnight to allow themselves to catch a glimpse of a rising sun that one simply did not get in Monterra. Such views were possible because — you guessed it — Siéra Alba is located in a hilly area just outside the city.

It is exactly because of this that we think Siéra Alba would be a suitable place to host the headquarters of the International Broadcasting Alliance. Its high terrain gives it a technical advantage due to the fact that broadcasting equipment, including antennas and satellite dishes, are able to transmit stronger signal (and therefore broadcast more effectively) when they are above the average terrain. The tallest structures in the world are either antenna towers or otherwise have broadcasting equipment installed on them for a reason, after all. Since a telecommunications organization would have to have telecommunications equipment, it can be concluded that Siéra Alba would be a location where broadcasting activities can be done effectively.

Because of its relatively rural location, there is plenty of undeveloped land that can be used to construct new equipment, such as a large satellite or even an antenna farm. Its elevation from sea level means that it is free of radio interference, such as from marine radar or from airports (the Monterra International Airport is more than 20 miles away, on the other side of the city). There are also barely any high-rise structures in Siéra Alba which means there is even less obstruction for broadcasting equipment.

Siéra Alba is a relatively small town, but the development of real estate and apartments means that there is enough housing to accommodate the international workforce that will be employed at the IBA headquarters. Because the town was historically frequented by wealthy Kalosians, Siéra Alba is known to have very low crime rates, and visitors will find that the town has many of the same facilities that they may find in more urban areas. Perhaps because of unparalleled sunrise views, Siéra Alba residents are among the happiest citizens on this side of Kalosia, and they surely will be very happy to greet the International Broadcasting Alliance with open arms.

A word from Harmondsworth Creative International...

Dear All,

First of all, I would like to wish you all a belated Happy New Year! After the stress and horror from what 2020 was, I hope that 2021 will be much more successful for you in every regard. In terms of the television industry, 2021 has brought a new venture; the International Broadcasting Alliance - which, I am sure, will be the strongest television conglomerate we have seen to date. Already we have tens of broadcasters a part of our union and I believe that there will be many more to come.

With that being said, Harmondsworth Creative International couldn't miss the opportunity to contribute to the IBA. To summarise who we are very briefly, Harmondsworth Creative International is a design agency based in Harmondsworth, Ghiez, off mainland Britonisea. We have designed logos from different countries across the Multiverse, including international events such as our most recent hosting of the WorldVision Song Contest which was hosted in Boschke, North East Britonisea not too long ago, along with the artwork which went with that event.

We present to you our proposed logo for the International Broadcasting Alliance below. The colours we have decided to use is a rich rouge along with a strong black - we believe the two colours complement one another. We have also provided alternative colours - luscious forest green with ocean blue option too. As shown in our WorldVision 81 design, where there was the meaning behind the logo (the pupil of the '81 logo had 50 sections which signified how long Britonisea had been in the competition, along with lines showing where we had won - we did the same with this logo too. Using the "I" in IBA, we decided to replicate the on-button. Why did we do this, you ask? Well, that is because the on button is our gateway into the world of knowledge that 150 years ago, we didn't once have. You press the on button on your remote to watch television, you press the on-button to access your phone, you press the on-button to listen to your radio...

We know that television is much more than television, especially in this day and age where technology is massively improving. We wanted an internationally recognised symbol to be at the heart of the logo for the IBA - we wanted to support the idea of this truly international broadcasting alliance.

Alternative colours (not in this design - unless its popular, I suppose). These colours were decided over two weeks ago but Erik decided to go ahead with the current colours.

Here is what the main logo would look like. Obviously, there is always room for improvement after suggestions... The logo consists of most of the on-button spoken about above plus IBA in large dark red font, completed by a striking black capitalised "INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING ALLIANCE". The colours can change and so can the capitalisation of the font - I'm open for changes to be made!



When updating our websites, or announcing anything important, we believe that we should do it in complete style. Above is an example of one of the headers you would see when you find out whether your application is accepted or not!



These three images would be shown on each of the pages that we have as the Header image. The actual files on these images and much larger and so they can be as big as the forums permit, I can also change the size of it to make it more oblong or square - it's really up to the people! Power to the people!



If the graphics above weren't enough for you, we have also made a logo which you can put straight into the designs for your television shows that you'd put on the Programme Exchange. If this logo design is accepted, this will be available in great definition meaning you can chuck it on top of your own shows designs. In this design, after finishing an episode of Grand Escapes (which will be sponsored by IBA), you can see the logo of IBA which has transparent text along with a white square around it which has been lowered in opacity. The full opacity version would be available for those wanting to use it - in this example opacity is set at 83%...
