The four letter part is intended to represent the type of alliance it is: a bunch of teenage neoconservatives who flip-flop between being liberal and conservative every time anyone asks, coming together under the rule of either A. a talented RPer who actually has experience and knows how to write well, or B. someone who has no goddamn clue what they're doing, be it their skills in writing, RPing, or basic verb conjugation. But I digress.
There's now about six or seven of these stupid things around, and frankly, it has to be said: they haven't successfully completed jack shit of their planned objectives, and instead serve as the headquarters of untalented, unwilling individuals who've gotten their military knowledge from playing ARMA, Civ, and HOI4. And in the case of many of these people, they haven't even gone that far. These are the RPers whose doctrine is literally the same as the US/Russia, and in some cases, literally have both their best equipment despite the logical improbably that both sides would be willing to sell their most valuable equipment to you. And oftentimes they manufacturer their own equipment, but don't even use that in their own military, instead using whatever newest gun trend is going around the HK forums that week.
Now, the alliances themselves are composed of four parts: the OOC chat, that gets locked as spam five days after it's created, the IC chat, which is just another assembly, an Assembly, which is just an IC chat, but with substantially lower quality posts, and the créme-de-la-fucking-créme, the military operations. These operations are composed of several different types. The main one is helping member states with their massive insurrections that somehow hinder neither the bloated GDPs of these governments nor their massive infantry numbers. The second is fighting nations who they don't like OOC with their godmodded weapons that can't be defeated under any circumstances. The third, and one that I shall die before I see, is the actually justified war against a slave state or something else that's a noble cause. Fortunately for these nations, nobody ever brings up the fact they tend to be as bad as if not worse than who they're fighting against.
All military alliances end the same way: the quality players realize they can do better, and make their own group, leaving the old husk of an organization to rot under the control of players who have no clue what they're doing, eventually running their organization/splinter organization into the ground. This is the fate that befalls all four letter alliances, no exceptions.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. Now I have absolutely no regrets on disbanding SETA and can fulfill being a successful military RPer!

Yes, but now you're co-heading CITO, which, even if it's more restricted, is just SETA 2 all over again. You can't keep making these four-letter alliances. You're better than this, man.
