KorstadVorīg | National Senate of Kazakah [INVITE-ONLY]

The KorstadVorīg (English: National Senate or Imperial Senate) is the supreme legislative branch of the Kazakahian government. It consists of two components; the Sovereign and the Senate. The Senate consists of 370 elected seats, each of which hold power for four years. The Senate votes and creates legislation which is then passed to the Sovereign, the current emperor or empress of Kazakah. The Sovereign may then choose to sign, veto, or send back the legislation.
At the beginning of each annual Session the Sovereign gives a throne speech to address current issues and the following year's legislative goals. Assemblies are presided by the Chancellor who moderates debate, announces votes, and decides on procedure. The Chancellor is chosen by the recommendation of the Sovereign and voted on by the Senate.
