Self-driving ferry service in Archonian Frezko enters testing phase

(FRZ) - Cerenalo is the capital city of the overseas territory of Orientale, and the easternmost capital city in Archon. Known as the “western door” between the continents of Archon and Epilo, the city is about to receive even more modernizations in the near future, beginning with this futuristic project.

The citizens of Cerenalo who live in the eastern part of the city will now be able to save around twenty minutes every time they walk to the city center with this new zero-emissions, self-driving electric ferry. It takes around 90 seconds to cross the Scioccante River.

This service will be a revolutionary addition to the long list of ferry and boat taxi services currently operating in Frezko.

Frezko has led the way on electric ferries. It launched its first electric passenger and car ferry in Hertia, Areparia in 2015, and has pioneered "new technologies and green fuels," says Gavino Iwere, Director of Registro Fresgo Navale, advisers for the maritime industry and organizers of Frezko's Green Shipping Program.

Kaiserrealm establishes military presence on Warandell

The Kaiserrealm military under the overwatch of Empress Myantha has established a military presence in the Free City of Warandell after First Mayor Vianola Yiniynn announced that the island was being "protected by Her Majesty". She has claimed that a Roman naval vessel was sighted in the area but as of now we are unable to verify this. Vianola's motives is under question by the population but any chance of disorder has been silenced by the apparent arrival of military assets such as the naval destroyer "Amathyr".

Warandell has been de-facto independent for five ages but the return of mainland elves ends the technical independence of our island nation. Vianola promised she would negotiate with Myantha for reforms to systems like the ferry between mainland Ulthuan and Warandell as well as the retaining of the liberal traditions of Warandell. In any case it seems we will still be able to deliver the most accurate news from across Ulthuan to customers around the globe.

Vianola's popularity was already poor but after this apparent gamble we have yet to had a chance to create a new poll. We will also have live coverage of the debate between Liluth Trarie and Vianola Yiniynn in a week on our TV and radio channels.

Ālpamayans vote to begin reincorporation

(FRZ) - Ālhbamaya is a territory that posseses a very rich history. It is located in Eastern Archon, and it is best known for being one of the seven historical regions of Prajul, a Theocracy that also included what is now known as Lorraine/Point D'Est and Île Principal. It is also quite important in Frizch history, as for most of its existence this Theocracy was joined into a triple monarchy along with Cesta (the Frizch mainland) and the Frizch Antilles, which decades latter became the Frizch Empire. This era lasted until Prajul was granted independence by Emperor Konstantinu III in the year 50BF (SC Standard calendar), near the end of the Red Hail period.

In 2015, after the independent Prajulian government collapsed, the territory of Ālhbamaya was annexed by the Global Commonwealth of North Covenant as Prajil^[sic]. It was later ceded to the Second Kingdom of Nouvel Acadie, becoming a very important place for the Acadian government during their massive relocation mission in the aftermath of the War of Cold Sands.

But in recent weeks, the kingdom had found itself completely weakened by its constant battles against the Aktaeb, a rebel group, and a revitalized Woodhouse Financial Network. This has dramatically impacted their communications, both national and international, which has further led to the complete collapse of the Acadian government.

In the midst of these events, Rosina, the current duchess of Prajul, afraid of the incoming economic crisis surrounding the Franc, combined with their state of defenselessness against the threat of invading nations that could take part in a complete eradication of Prajul, its people and its culture, has quickly held a referendum last Friday to decide the future of the territory. With an almost unfanthomable support for the recently sparked Frizch Movement, the duchess has personally communicated with His Majesty the King of Frezko seeking reincorporation to the Frizch Union.

As of today, Ālhbamaya and its surrounding territories are now a Viceroyalty of the Kingdom of Frezko, and the former State of Prajul is now considered to be in a real union with the Frizch Crown.

Navy Resumes Operations on Tol Bandir

The Neustri government has announced a resumption in peacekeeping duties on the island of Tol Bandir, in the wake of mass unrest and government collapse in the Noctish Realm's nominal ally of Nouvel-Acadie. The two powers had previously split sovereignty over the island, with Acadia taking the western half and Noctia its eastern half, including the island capital of Sondergarde. Two years ago, the two nations then signed a treaty granting sovereignty "in perpetuity" over the entire island to Nouvel Acadie in exchange for trade concessions, mutual non-aggression, and a free port in Labourde on the northern coast of the Acadian mainland. The island thus became an autonomous part of the Acadian Duchy of Orléans, while the entire Noctish military presence and much of its civilian presence left the island.

With the apparent collapse of the Acadian government, the Supreme Privy Council in Neustri has announced that it will resume operations on the island of Tol Bandir, stating that the Acadian government "no longer possesses the capability to fulfill their end of the Nocto-Acadian Accords, thus it falls to us to continue the operations ceased all those years ago." A small preliminary force of 1,700 troops has been sent to the island to take command, promising to ensure the fair treatment of any Acadian troops and civilian personnel on the island in addition to the island's native inhabitants. The Confederation has also announced it will open its borders to any Acadians seeking to flee the collapse of their homeland. The White Moon flies over Sondergarde once more.

Trains make a return to the Island of Stratis

SAINT JOHANNES, Strattia. – The recently elected Governor of the Territory of Strattia, Rizardo di Chené, has made an appearance during the reopening of the Saint Johannes – Porta d'Meridia stretch of the Strattian Railway by the Azienda Regionale Stratta Trasporti, the first step in the project intended for thre reopening of the whole railway network in the island, which hasn't seen passenger trains for the past 2 years, in part due to the highly unstable economical and political climate surrounding the territory prior to its reincorporation into the Frizch Union.

The reinaugurated service has begun to serve 19 towns and a population of around 2 million living in the southeastern side of the department, with more stretches planned for reinauguration in the following months.

For decades now the Confederation has maintained decisive and stable control over the Eristyain coast and its more developed settlements, only slowly and gradually pushing into the island-continent's interior. Now, however, the Dominion's government has finally declared it time to finish the conquest of Eristys on behalf of the Our Realm. Much of the interior is sparsely populated and of little development, leaving little obstacles for the battalion of Eristys Home Troops that accompanied the surveying crew on their mission to map out the island's interior. Far removed from the mystical lands of Neravha to the south of Noctish Eristys, or the settled metropoles of Barka in the northeast, or even the sleepy coastal settlements of Cilla-Luos on the western coast, the island's interior is one of both arid, flat steppe and savannah.

Much of the land in the Eristyain interior, the surveying team concluded in its final report, would be of little use as direct settlement, but would provide useful transport links between the western and eastern halves of the island. Currently, there is a single link around the Noctish-held portion of the island, a large proportion of which must run dangerously close to Roman territory. Such people are not known for their civilized ways as evidenced by their global polemic, thus the establishment of more secure transport networks has been noted as a key priority for the renewed interest in Eristys. Much of the steppe and savannah land, however, has been earmarked for use as natural preserves, both to maintain the island's natural, splendid ecosystem relatively intact, and to encourage tourism to the island. As of yet no areas of the interior have been earmarked for major settlement by either transplants from the mainland or Eristyain locals.

First up, Heartfilian troops landed on the shores of the city of Port-Du-Guepard and taking it in a matter of an hour. Many know that the Schnee Mining Company was a key advocate for the invasion of the ecological protectorate due to valuable metals and minerals located in the region. Now that the Kingdom of Nouvel Arcadie has fallen, the House of Lords has finally approved these requests. The ruined city of Port-Du-Guepard historic site, one that will show Heartfilia's superiority and military success. in the center will be a brand new shiny city for all Heartfilians to enjoy and vacation too.

In other news, As the Dutch nations around Area-06 unite into the Confederation, the Area has to find new land to capture more Mutts. Luckily scans located a high population of High Slavic tribes in the region north of Area-06. Before these tribes could join the Confederation, the Area sent in troops to secure the tribe land; as quickly as possible and with limited casualties to the local tribes. Duchess of Essex and viceroy of the Area, Eleanor Plantegant, made a speech following the annexation of the region,

"My dear people, my loyal and most beloved of subjects, I was appointed by my Perfect mother, Queen Marie Bijou Heartfilia XI, to run this Area as flawless as my bloodline. Lastly, with new nations rising across the globe, the demand for oil has considerably increased. For many years the largest exporter of oil had been the Kingdom of Skjoldur. But with large oil deposits founded all across Area-03, And with domed cities and oil refineries constructed throughout the Area. The future of Heartfilia in the global oil trade is looking promising.

Mysterious Monolith vanishes overnight

Not long ago this monolith was discovered by a group of Eru elf villagers in the Lothern desert who reported it to the local authorities. The rectangle prism object was obscured among rock terrain and was measured to be 300cm tall. It has no apparent markings on it and it quickly attracted concerns that it had been placed there by aliens. Park officials investigated the object for any clues as to it's origins but their investigation did not reveal any revelations of interest.

However the object has managed to vanish only 3 days after it's discovery by the Eru elfs. The only thing that remains of the mysterious object is the visible hole where it had been implanted into the earth. There were reports of a bright flare on the night of it's disappearance but the origins of these reports remain unclear. Duchess Shanyrria Inaberos of Lothern, the monarch of the local area, said earlier today that a "thorough inspection" would be conducted into the mysterious object's disappearance. The disappearance of the object has caused a flareup in UFOlogists activity with claims that the object had been removed from it's spot by a UFO.

The office of Lothern did not answer our questions.

Efvathyr returned to the Tareldar Altarnië

The island of Efvathyr have returned to the Tareldar Altarnië. Efvathyr was once previously a great colony of Kaiserrealm but events like the Frezko invasion in the long past caused the colony to grow ever more so stranded and it was occupied by Rusina's nations. In time the Rusina nations collapsed into nuclear exchange and the island was suddenly thrown into a crisis. Forces from Kaiserrealm have since occupied the island and a governor has been installed for the time being. The local elven population, known as the "Nixë", are the natives of the Rusinan artic island which is very chilly requiring the population to craft fur wear to keep them warm.

A spokeperson for the Empress said she was "evaluating the political situation of Efvathyr". Proposals like the establishment of a "Dominion" have already been raised as well as bizarre ones like a new duchy. The International Forum has so far been silent on the affair. Myantha is expected to hear from the Noble Council soon where a decision is likely to be made for the status of Efvathyr.

The Aexorouwyth Empire has taken some tribes and is now trying to put down the rebellions. They have declared war on the former states of the old Aexorouwyth empire. Due to the primitive nature of the states, Aexorouwyth is winning battle after battle with minimum casualties.

(ARA) Breaking - The Governor-General has announced that scouts from the Republican Militia have encountered other communities that appear to be foreign states! The Govenor-General has urged calm and caution at this time with him saying "As we do not currently know the intentions of these foreigners it is within our best interest to remain optimistic yet cautious for the future".

Will these states be friend or foe? Will there be peace or war? Time can only tell, but one thing is certain... We are Not alone.

Breaking - The Govenor-General's Palace has just released a statement regarding an incident that took place in the capital city involving a foreign official.

"A few hours ago an incident occurred involving the Ambassador from the United Kingdom of Druidon and Calvent. At this time information is still coming in but we can confirm that the Ambassador, who had only just arrived in Amirak to begin talks of opening relations between Amirak and his nation of origin, assaulted an Amirakien citizen. We will not be releasing the name of the victim at this time, but we have confirmed they are in critical condition and awaiting surgery. Shortly after the altercation began a group of militiamen intervened and subdued the Ambassador. The Ambassador was taken to the local Sheriff to wait for trial. That was until his security detail conducted an operation to retrieve him that resulted in the death of a militiaman. At this time we can confirm that the ambassador has hold up in their temporary Embassy. With this revelation the government of the Armed Republic of Amirak is hereby demanding that the government of the United Kingdom of Druidon and Calvent hand over the ambassador and his security force."

Breaking News! The Druidian Secretary of State, Michael Callaghan, released a statement in response to the unlawful arrest of Ambassador Anthony Grum in Amirak.

"Greetings esteemed people of the Union, and the world! I am hereby speaking, with great outrage, because one of the finest ambassadors of this country, whom I know personally, Ambassador Anthony Grum, was detained without cause and is holding refuge in the Druidian Embassy in Amirak.

The Governor-General courteously reached out to me, in an effort to explain that Ambassador Grum was rightfully detained and due process was observed. I am making this speech to contravene this claim, as Ambassador Grum reached out to me, describing how the Amirak courts were denying his right to legal counsel and his petition for the writ of habeas corpus.

The Governor-General is stubborn in his resolve to regain custody of Ambassador Grum, as Amirak militia forces are currently surrounding our Embassy at the moment. Our stance is clear - We will NOT give in to any unfounded accusation against one of the finest diplomats of Druidia. Seeing that Amirak justice is one that lacks any form of due process, we shall NEVER surrender custody of Ambassador Grum.

Amirak is to drop ALL charges of assault and battery, and they are to issue a public apology to both Ambassador Grum and the United Kingdom of Druidon and Calvent."

Breaking - The Govenor-General's Palace has released news that a group of Amirakien fisherman spotted a Druidon and Calvent fleet performing a naval exercise in Amirakien waters. In a statement the Govenor-General stated: "This drastic and unnecessary provocation is irresponsible. The Armed Republic of Amirak will be forced to take the appropriate measures to protect it's people and territorial integrity."

In related news all utilities have been shut off to the Druidon and Calvent Embassy. And the Governor-General had repeated his intentions to arrest the Ambassador and his security detail.

Diplomatic mission established in Amirak

Today a diplomatic mission to Amirak was announced by the Kaiserrealm government via the alert system as tensions rise between Amirak and Druidon over an apparent violation of national waters by a Druidon fleet. Intentions of the mission is unknown at this time but it is no doubt Amirak and Kaiserrealm will warm up to each other.

The elven diplomatic representative said that she was very "Thankful" and "Honoured" to represent Kaiserrealm in Amirak. The representative said that the fleet's actions were "dangerous" and called for the Druidon nation to admit to their "blunder".

Diplomatic Breakdown

The Governor-General's Envoy has released an official statement regarding the ongoing diplomatic standoff with Druidon.

"Earlier today the Governor-General met with the Secretary of State of Druidon. The two had a lengthy conversation regarding the matter of their ambassador. The Governor-General explained how important it is that the ambassador face justice for his aggression against an Amirak citizen. While initially talks went well they would fall through later in the day following Druidon refusing to allow the ambassador to face trial in Amirak. Druidon's secretary of state also refused to give a proper explanation for their fleet encroaching on Amirak waters. Druidon's officials left the talks at 2:00 pm today without resolving the current issue and maintain their stance that they nor the ambassador have done anything wrong.

Today I also regret to inform the nation that the individual that was attacked by the Druidon Ambassador has died. The Governor-General has done everything he can to assist them and their family during this time. The victim died from internal bleeding caused by the prolonged beating they took, several surgeries were performed but the damage was too substantial.

In light of the failed talks and the death of the victim the Governor-General has given Druidon 48 hours to hand over the Ambassador and his security force or Amirak will take them by force.

The Governor-General will attend the funeral for the victim, the family has asked that their name not be released.

Militia forces are currently gathering around the Druidon embassy, and the sheriff is on standby to make the arrest.

The talks between Druidian Secretary of State, Michael Callaghan and the Governor-General of Amirak was fruitless, which meant that no consensus was reached between the two of them, even as the Siege of the Druidian Embassy is now in its second week.
The Governor-General has refused to conduct an interview with the DBC, as he did not feel comfortable in disclosing his views on the matter to Druidian news agencies. Which means, we have Secretary Callaghan joining us right now. Secretary Callaghan, thank you for letting us have you.

Hi! I am Tom Jones, with the DBC, back again with an interesting development, this time at Flintfool County, Calvent. Earlier today, the Amirakian Ambassador, Anton Valyski, was arrested on National Security and Espionage charges. The local Flintfool County police and Officers of the Druidian Marshalls have detained Ambassador Valyski in a holding cell, just outside of St Asaph. The Chief of Police in St Asaph gave a press conference subsequently, after the detention was made known to the public.

In a move that has surprised precisely no one in its occurrence, yet surprised everyone in how long it took to actually happen, the Commissariat of Foreign Affairs has declared the Immortal Concordiat to be moribund. This move comes months following the essential collapse of three of its four members - Valyren collapsing due to the stresses of the Great Rusinian Wars, and both Oceanion and Shuraya falling to internal civil strife. The dissolution of the now ironically-named alliance was finalized in its latest, and last, official meeting, chaired solely by the Noctish delegation. With the dissolution of the alliance, the Noctish State has also unofficially made steps towards distancing itself from the government of Free Oceanion, currently located on Shuraya, and kept afloat largely by its association with the Immortal Concordat. Currently, the Noctish government does not recognize that of the Oceani Empire which controls the vast majority of Oceani territory, in large part due to its associations with Rome. That may change, as many within the Noctish government have made calls for a renewed isolationism, presenting the failure of recent Noctish diplomatic overtures as proof of its futility. The Chancellor-elect's isolationist stance has drawn criticism from some, especially those of more globally-minded persuasions, yet it would seem that such a stance has propelled her to the Chancellery in the wake of the Great Rusinian Wars. A platform built on isolationism, autarky, and a general return to "pre-Cataclysmic attitudes" has drawn in many votes for the aspiring politician now setting her sights on "correcting" many of Noctia's failures.

Recently, Aexorouwyth conquered an enormous amount of land on the eastern front, shattering the enemy's morale, and boosting our own in the process.
