Mark V Specs:
Description: The Mark V heavy destroyer was originally built by the Piikalan navy in the mid-eighties and was designed to operate in the shallow reefs and atolls of Piikala. The class of ship is designed into shallow water while still being heavily armoured. She is equipped with some of the first automatic reloaders ever found on Piikalan warships and is also equipped with a small aircraft launching pad to operate her two VTOL aircraft. Like all Piikalan cruisers, the class is designed to be multi-purpose cruisers but are called heavy destroyers to get around a Piikalan Japanese treaty that limited naval size for capital ships.
Armourtment:
-4 twenty inch cannons mounted on the bow and aft of each of the hulls with a fire rate of ten rounds a minute with a maximum of 250 rounds carried.
- 8 seven inch cannons located on the port and starboard sides around the centre of the ship and a maximum fire rate of twelve rounds a minute. Carries around 500 rounds of ammunition in a belt system for the automatic reloader.
- 30 Piikalan made CIWS batteries that use 140 MM high-velocity tungsten rounds they're spread throughout the ship.
- 5 Mark IV torpedo tubes with a maximum of ten torpedos and a reload time of fifteen minutes per tube.
- fifty anti-ship missile batteries scattered around the ship
- twenty anti-aircraft missile batteries.

- Displacement of forty tons
- Max speed of 80 knots
- Range: 34,000 KM at speed for fifty knots
- Fuel: normally palm or peanut oil.
- Engines: six Type IV diesel engines
- Hull armour 60 MM with a water line hull thickness of 70 MM(this is to allow the ships ability to sail through artic regions)
- Has advanced radar system
- Equipped with a passive and active sonar
- Has a torpedo net system that can be hydraulically deployed

- Painted in an IPNV grey similar to IPJN grey but a lighter shade.

Mark IX heavy destroyer
Description: The mark IX heavy destroyer was built to replace an ageing fleet of Piikalan Mark IV Heavy Destroyers and was first produced in 2010. One of Piikalas first ships relies heavily on automation and one of the first Piikalan class of heavy destroyers to be nuclear powered. It is also one of the first Piikalan heavy destroyers equipped with hydrofoil technology to allow faster speeds. Along with being one of the first Piikalan ships to be designed to launch and receive drones at sea. Along with being one of the first Piikalan ships to have signage and instruction manual in English, this was done to make international operations and exchanges easier.
Armourtment:

- eighty anti-aircraft missile batteries placed at the bow and aft of each hull.
- has four three-inch guns located around the centre of the ship two on each side
- Carries two Napalm hoses designed to be used in anti-pirate operations.
- has five misters designed to be used to deploy biological weapons and or poison gas. Has thirty canisters of VX nerve agent, sixty canisters of mustard gas, and two canisters of antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
