Ross weeblazer'd Patyu and Nate, who were leaving the banquet hall. The other missing person is Bailey, who was in her room reading Kurt Vonnegut and is coming down to see what the hell happened. Ross then apparently tazed five security guards. Likely he's just chilling somewhere atm.

just reading that sentence makes me internally conflicted. like i'm guessing the character isn't secretly trans and the weeblaser is going to cause some interesting revelations and personal struggles for someone whose society is incapable of helping out with that or something and just say that old fashioned rule 63 where the subject also changes gender is absolutely weird feeling to me. not my characters, so you do what you want, and fiction doesn't have to be realistic. just rambling on i guess.

you do have them beat on quantity probably, depending on how many more alastair stories wf writes, and quantity often comes with quality as that's a whole lot of practice
