Despite a majority supporting Sharifistani rule in all ethnic groups except Irish Idealistonis and Idealistoni Jews, a minority of Idealistonis are protesting for Idealistoni independence. These protestors are gathered outside the Governor-Generals' Office in Nua Dublin protesting for independence. The protestors are a combination of Idealistoni nationalists and Irish nationalists, many are also feminists. They are disproportionately female and without university educations though few are from the poorest 10%.The protests are being kept peaceful by the Royal Gendarmerie including Mounted Police.

The protestors, carrying signs with such slogans as "Never take the Sultanate's shilling", "One law for us and one for the Sharifistani soldier" and "our daughters are NOT bargaining chips!", insult Idealistoni policemen at work at Governor Generals' Office by calling them "cowards" and traitors".

An Irish-Idealistoni policeman crossed himself, "Jesus, Mary and all the saints protect me from this rabble." he said in an Irish accent, getting out his baton just in case he needs it later.

The lead organiser of the protest, a member of the Nua Dublin Council and ex-policeman, has contacted Swiss Eye asking for an interview. So does the Chief of the Royal Idealistoni Police.

OOC: Sharifistan is North-East Turkey plus Jordan and a tiny part of Eastern Europe. Idealiston is next to Ireland.

"Praising the racists that support these protests due to political cowardice and a cowardly fear of the other, in this case our Sharifistani benefactors, they stopped us from being occupied by our enemies, they protect our wives and children as well as our freedom, lives and property. "
