The Communists campaign with promises to workers for greater health and safety as well as promises of pardons for communists in prison and threats of war on Kyundao. They also promise a rise in the pay of conscripts and infantry Privates. They promise to increase land tax by 10.5% as well as reducing income tax but increasing corporate tax by 30.5% and inheritance tax by 70.5%.

The Liberals promise pardons to Communists convicted of "purely political offences", a rise in the pay of teachers at both schools and universities and a reduction in police brutality. They also promise a constitution, an increase of funding to the intelligence services and increase in the pay of both doctors and nurses employed by the Sharifistani Health Service. They plan to lower income tax but an increase in tax on the sales of luxury goods.
They will also cut the pay of executives in the state energy company. Another popular policy they have advocated is the abolition of conscription.

The Socialist Party promise workers greater health and safety as well as an increase in the pay of factory and oil rig workers. Anatoliyanskiy officially supports the Sharifistani Labour Party, and wishes them the best in the upcoming election. They would also be satisfied with a Liberal Party win as well.

The Communist Party of Sharifistan draw attention to the Sharifistani Communist "martyrs" brutally tortured to death by Kyundao's soldiers. It uses the Arabic word "Shahid" to describe the Communists who died. It says "We will go to war with Kyundao and prosecute the men responsible for war crimes, using an all-volunteer Army".
This increases support for the Communists in the polls and increases votes.

Madinat Al-Islam, Sultanate of Sharifistan
Captain Ahmed Khalid Hussein Pathan, Distinguished Gallantry Medal, Bachelor of Science gives a speech
"My life started off the same as the average Sharifistani worker, born in the City of Industry, my dad was a bricklayer and my mum struggle to get by on my dad's income, joined the infantry at 16 with a promise of fighting for Sultan and homeland and a promise of becoming a real man. Saw some my brothers die on the battefield so that rich men could get richer, won medals for saving the lives of others. Other great young men!
Became a NCO. After that I got lucky. Got a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Military Science, got promoted to Captain. But I also studied Marx, and through Marx I identified the problem: the landlords!
Islam has the cure to this problem but it can only be carried out in true workers' state! Vote for me and let the landlords see they need to give power to the people!"
People cheer at this.

The Communists are now the leading party for the House of Representatives(!)This causes fear in the nobility to the point where many nobles ask, in private and in intellectual clubs, "Does democracy do more harm than good?"
