The Festival of Holy Light III (IC)

[Greater Orcadia]

Chyna senses the movement and leaps down onto the floor.

"Well, lets get ready then" says Tricia before looking at Chyna "want a walk kitty?" she says, Chyna lets a meow before running off and getting the leash, dragging it to Tricia before letting it go to allow Tricia to clip it to Chyna's collar as Nebraska gets up from the sofa.

As Nebo gets up, her latex catsuit squaks and creaks in a way that only a catsuit can do and it doesn't leave much to the imagination either, she reaches down and grabs her backpack before slinging it over her shoulders and puts on a pair of shades. "well, lets go" she says.

Tricia just looks over at Itsuki and smiles, "after you" she says as Chyna runs over to the door, her leash running out on its reel.

With Chyna leashed her behaviour changes from being editable cat to obedience, not quite dog obedient.

Tricia and Nebraska ("Nebo" for short) leave behind the nurse but ahead itsuki with Chyna walking at Tricia's heel.
"So, where's best place to start?" Asks Nebo

"Our deities are quite diffeent from yours, that's for sure." I reply with a smile. "Our religion is called the Astarian Star Polytheism, and we have twelve deities in them, each one the patron of certain aspects of life. I can for example cite Etheria, Star of the Sky and Space; Melima Star of Healing and Medicine; or even Hyrcine, Star of Nature and Hunting.
But our most important deity is Ymir, Star of Life and Creation, but also of Death and Afterlife. The one who birthed the Universe, and the one who reigns over all life."

"The fish is succulent! Your Dad could be a renowned chef in the Imperium you know?!" I reply with an enthusiastic tone. "I've never eaten a fish dish that was this good and original." I adds with a large smile.
"Yeah, me too." adds Owen as he takes another bite of his fish.

"Wow that sounds so interesting! They may be different but I think in a way that's what we have in common. I think our beliefs have similar ideas, concepts to them, but still I know they're quite different."

"Papa papa papa, come let's go play in the water."

"All right, son, all right, don't pull so hard." The father with his son went along to play in the water some more as Kainin sat down in the warm sand to watch, her eyes also darted up the sky a few times and back to the horizon to watch her son and husband play. "Sooo what else you fine people doing during this festival? I know Corona isn't quite as hopping as say Aurora but I think you'll enjoy the festival here."

The father spoke loud and jouvial in native Hoshine leaving Mayna to translate "Hehe papa says thanks for the compliments. He's glad you like it a lot."

"Oh thank you" Itsuki said exiting the little hut with their guests in tow. "Well, if you want to walk about the village square, see some of what we have to offer? Can head back to Port Aya if you want to walk along the beaches some more."

"You up for it, Itsuki?"

"Ah don't worry 'bout me, I'm big as can be but I'll manage. Hate to miss a festival. But I sure would love it if my new little one would come out on the blessed day of the festival."

"Well if that happens, I'm here at least, so is Shino"

"Mmm" Shino nodded in firm agreement.

Tricia turns to little Shino
"Fancy walking Chyna?" She asks before turning to the older women "so where is the best place to go then?" Focusing on Shino's mother

Chyna walks on, stopping title sniff the ground and occasionally scent the ground in a way typical of a female cat

"Wow that sounds so interesting! They may be different but I think in a way that's what we have in common. I think our beliefs have similar ideas, concepts to them, but still I know they're quite different."

"Oh, we're just taking in the sights, going where our feet will lead us." I reply with a smile and a small laugh. "We've already done some shopping of some local wares, and went to the Temple where we had a great discussion with the Matron."

"And after that, my dad had a date this afternooooon." says Sarah with a teasing smile and tone. Tommy and Maria, for their part, laugh a bit at their niece antics.

"Sarah, please don't go shouting it over every roof please." I say to my daughter before turning back to Kainin. "But yeah, as she mentioned, I hit off well with one of your compatriots, and I'm meeting her this afternoon."

"He could be a four-star chef in the Imperium." adds Owen to Mayna. "But in my opinion, this type of dish is way better served in an authentic environment such as here. Not saying that we don't have this in the Imperium too." adds my friend with a sheepish smile.

And with that Shino took the leash of Chyna.

"Anyway, we'll just head on into the village center, see what's good there. Usually got food, games and other nice things to do."

"oooh you only say that because you're all so accustomed to my cooking!" He chuckled back "What do you think, my dear?" He asked his wife

"Four, five or none, remember it's your way around a trout that got me to marry you!" She responded

"Sounds like you've really gotten a hang of this place. I know Kino isn't as bustling as Aurora but this little port serves us Coronans well." she chuckled at the fact it was mentioned, rather yelled out he found himself a date. "My my. So you've taken a bit more than just the sights have you?" She cheekily responded. "Well, I'm sure you'll have a nice afternoon ahead when you meet up."

"A perfect example of the saying that love goes through the stomach I see." I say with a small chuckle. "But aside from the trout, what other types of fish do you cook here Sir?" I ask to Mayna's father.

Shino looked up a bit wide eyed and surprised

"Well what do you say, Shino? Wanna go for it?" Her mother encouraged her and Shino nodded rather enthusiastically

"Well go right ahead then."

And with that Shino took the leash of Chyna.

"Anyway, we'll just head on into the village center, see what's good there. Usually got food, games and other nice things to do."

Tricia looked at Shino and smiled, "here ya go, keep the lead coiled in though" she says, handing Shino the leash. Chyna knew something was a miss so walked ahead of Shino trying to keep pace with Tricia however she would stop and sniff quite often, her tail high and head low as the new area was still something to be exited about.

Nebo turns to the mother "villages can sometime throw up surprises" she says as she walks along, her tight latex catsuit squeaking and creaking and not leaving much to the imagination "Have you got an event guide at all?" she asks as Tricia unzips her leather jacket to reveal her tube top.

"Nebo, we gotta try some of the local food" says Tricia, "smell it from here, something is cooking nicely, smells like half a bloody pig is being spit roasted"
