I nodded. "Don't worry, not many people know of the country. It is small, not much of a population... actually in a similar boat to the UIS, only that there are not as many nations vying for regional hegemony." I shrugged. It was no secret, that the UIS was the grindstone the interests of quite a few nations were tested against each other, not to mention the UIS' interests itself. "A friend of mine was there once... it is a pretty place. The people there call themselves either the Migakemujara or the Yojaode, depending on whether or not they have animal ears like the Spiorad or horns. They grow incredibly ancient, to my understanding, and have a wisdom to match."
I smiled.
"If we ever find the time, we should make a trip to the place, just the two of us.", I suggested.

Nela, Prinzessin von Zieselhaven und Elms.
Port Aya, Hoshino.
I felt something around my ankles as Rena explained something or the other, so I looked down.
Ah...
"Alright, that is enough of the geology lesson, I am afraid.", I said with a small smile, drawing attention, then pointing down, "The tide rises and I would hate to drown."
There were many reasons for that, too.
Rena nodded in agreement, handing back the torch. "Yes, we might want to avoid swimming until we are outside.", she said, then smiled at the two Islanders. "Thank you very much. Though, admittedly, I am more of a Horse Doctor, not a Geologist."
"And a registered member of the Marcach Guild of Redruth.", I added with a small smile, which made Rena blush. I extended my hand. "Now then, shall we?"

Elin Blaidd, of Tralee Descent.
Kitan, Port Aurora.
I smiled at my sister, who said: "I am sure, that it would be fun for all involved.", she said. She knew the Dorcha. She knew, that it was not just any seaside watering hole, but a riverside one. And that it was... maybe a bit rougher then the Islanders might like. In any case, she smiled and rose, water running down her body. I knew, that there many men and quite a few women desiring, but I also knew, that the majority of them were only out for two things. I knew, that my sister knew as well and that she avoided them like the plague. She, like myself with Ritu, wanted someone, who loved her for her mind, not her body. "Now, ladies, it was fun talking to you both, but I think, that I should get going... the hot water is making me dizzy."
I nodded and rose as well with a similar effect.
"Lemme give you a hand.", I offered to my sister, who indeed looked a bit wobbly on her feet. I wasn't, so I got up.

Aonas Folracht of the Tribe of Wicklow.
Port of Kino, Corona Island.
I blushed at the compliments, but also at the feeling of her body against mine.
Taking a deep breath, I got Asalcloig moving out onto the street, adjusted my seating lightly, then smiled over my shoulder.
"Milady, which way to go?", I asked Ayla, "Carried to the left into the metropolis that is Kino? To the right, into the wild, where I shall protect you from wild beasts?" At the latter point, I petted the pommel of the sword hanging on the saddle. "It is up to you, Milady!"

The Kitan, Aurelia and Marcella

Marcella's eyes lit up, an island like here, similar people but most of all, a trip with Aurelia was heaven to her ears. "Y-yes! I think that'd be a great idea. I'm sure we could find the time to do so." Whether they would be carried aboard Marcella's own boat the Hoshi or aboard a vessel of Aurelia's choosing, well that'd be another matter for later for now it just sounded like a fine adventure. Staring at the beautiful woman before her, by the grace of the Goddesses and Gods of Kyrenaia combined she was just lovely.

Hoshino

"Oh yeah! Probably for the best that we head out of here." Lucy nodded in agreement holding down on her sunhat with the breeze sweeping into the cave and the splash of the mist they walked on out of the cave again, her boyfriend's hand in hers and taking the other's hand as she so nicely offered to help her along. Maybe sandals weren't the best choice? Oh well. "Horses? Wow! That's cool! Just like a vet or are you a horse rancher?"

Corona

"Oh brave, Knight." She giggled "Well now that you mention it, I have somewhere outside the village I need to be for a bit, so do guide me to safety through the untamed wilderness." Of course the worse you might get on Corona was a snake bite. It wouldn't kill you but it would hurt but still, if it was truly filled with savage beasts, she'd be in good hands here. She pointed off down the jungle path, which would take them to another nearby village, smaller than Kino but that'd be fine, a horse like this would probably cause a bit of trouble on the more crowded port town plus Ayla had been planning this visit. Wrapping her arms around him a little tighter she leaned in closer "So Brave Knight, let's head onward!"

The Kitan Baths

"Ahaha yeah I suppose the heat can get to you if not careful, so it was a good pleasure to talk with you. Honestly we got a few more in us before we should get going too. But enjoy the festival."

"Mhmhm. Stay dry too." Rikka cautioned

"Rikka, I don't think it's raining."

"Yet."

"Fair enough. Yup stay dry out there."

The two waved them goodbye. The young attendant had poked into the room "All finished ladies?" She asked of them "We hope it was to your liking."

Greater Orcadia wrote:"Not too far off the path for now, this is our first time in these islands so we are not sure where things are" replies Tricia as Nebraska gently pushes off from the side of the pool to swim across the water, as she does so with soft, gentle arm movements she creates little in the way of spray and wash but instead her arms and legs propel her across the water as she does a gentle breast stroke.

"We will have to get changed and pick up the kitty from the room before heading out, however have you guys had breakfast yet, if not we can go after you've ate?" says Tricia

"Mmm" She thought a moment "Ya know, I do have a pregnant client in a village just outside Aurora. Not too far so not much of a concern but why not tag along with us. Get to see a little off the path but stick close to home. Whaddya say? Interested?"

"You should come" Shino nodded "It's smaller but it's nice. Mama won't let ya get lost or nothin"

"Ahaha don't worry about getting lost, it's a straight shot from here, not even a half-hour-walk and a well marked path."

"It's really interesting, thank you for these detailed insights Matron." I say with a small bow of gratitude. I don't know if I'll marry Sunplena one day, but if I can, I would do the rituals by her side.
"Say Matron, since we're talking about marriage ceremonies, is there some sort of musical accompaniement for it? And if so, what types of instruments are used?"

Staff Sergeant Abigail "Abby" Anderson
Port Aya Hoshino.
"Your mother speaks very wise words Mayna" Owen replies with a smile. "And we'll be delighted to taste what your family offers on her stand. We've heard that the local authorities are going to implement a pledge for tourists to respect the nature and their surroundings, it's a very good gesture to make everyone respect the beauty of those Islands." adds my squadmate with a dreamy smile.
"What's the matter Owen? Are you getting all sentimental on me?" I ask with a small smirk and a raised eyebrow.
"N-no I'm not!" he replies hastily with a small blush that appears on his cheeks. "But you can't deny that these Islands are beautiful, and that it's our duty as tourists to respect them and ensure they stay the way they are now."
"Amen to that." I answer with a nod, before looking back to Mayna.

Kino

"That is up to the bride and groom to be, or brides to be, or grooms to be, well ya get it. Not many do it during the ceremony itself, more afterward. Simple pan flutes are very common here but we also have lutes, the good old voice of anyone who has the singing. The first wedding I did as an Apprentice there was a droning chant by the ladies at the behest of the two brides to be. Actually maybe you heard of them, they used to be Corona's Senators to Congress. Now retired but they sure did enjoy it. the wedding I mean. You sure do have a lot of questions, ya sure a wedding isn't in yer near future?" she teased but who knows maybe the two were meant to be together. "Sunplena, you know, she's a very beautiful woman and devoted mother." she winked at him well this would at least be an interesting first date.

Hoshino

"Yup. I sure do hope folks take it to heart. This place is a paradise as far as i'm concerned. We all gotta keep it that way. Folks wanna come see us, well I welcome them but I want them to make sure they respect how beautiful and fragile our islands are. Well seeing as ya folks be wanting a great taste of our fish delights, you wanna make the trek down and go try some? I'm pretty much finished here."

The memories of that day were so warm to Tess as she remembered it like the palm of her hand; her parents decided to have their private date quite earlier and left Tess to her own devices, which she couldn't blame them considering she was to propose the samething sooner or later anyway, more considering how long they were away of the other; then after having her dinner brought, she remembered Satou approaching her and talked with her; from then things got better. It was funny how they did as they went to a date after that and confessed their feelings to the other, it might had been unwise to many to rush an relationship, but her beloved wife; well, she was the exception to the rule after all. In an spawn of a week, one unforgettable week, she found the love of her life and in two years, here they were! Happily married and roaming off from both ends of their countries, both of them making a contrast of the other, yet so peaceful and complementing of the other; which was how Tess saw her relationship with Satou, they both were the complement of the other, always watching the backs of the other and when one was in need of a hand, they will always find one and support the other; individually they were strong, but together they were unstoppable.
As she heard her wife tell the story, the brunette couldn't help but blush at her wife's comments, she dearly loved Satou and was grateful to have met her and have her at her side.

She was about to say something, but then decided against it, letting the couple in front of them to tell their story; fairly simple yet also tragic considering the Lady Yasmin Father's state, she could notice her worry as she talked about that part; to be thrown to running an territory without knowledge was no easy feat, something that she also had when thinking about. she chuckled a bit at the mention of the uniform, it seemed universal wherever you went, you will always hear the joke of the uniform. And it appeared the time they spent together back then was when they fell in love; nice!

She couldn't help but smile at the comments of her wife before replying.

"I must agree with my wife, it is certainly interesting to see how life bring us to where we are." She replied with a smile before replying at the other detail. "I don't know if I said this, but I would like to congratulate you two for the child you're about to have as a couple, may he be blessed with a great future."

He couldn't help but smile at them before sighing fondly.

"Don't worry, I have time to spare; it's also my first visit after all." He told them before letting a beat pass. "Besides; I cannot leave without having the waitress bring me the account and pay up; which allow me to please pay up for your food if you two wouldn't mind?"

"Ah yes, you are with child! Many congratulations to you and I wish all the blessings on you." Motherhood, something certainly Satou thought of. Knowing her later mother and grandmother working so hard and giving so much love to her, Satou could only hope to be as good as they were. Tess, she felt might feel the same about being a mom, but in good time, in good time. Right now they were still kind of settling into their marriage, splitting time between Mervay and AHSCA.

Tsubaki

"Really? You don't have to do that at all."

The older daughter delivered the bill with her younger sister at her side. "I hope everything was to your satisfaction!"

I saw the light in Marcella's eyes - so many plans, yet so little time... She was beautiful, when she was excited.
Yet... there was more to her then just her physical beauty and her skills in bed. What I loved about her was her skills as a listener, but also at making me laugh... and her calmness, her being so removed from power and might in Kyrenaia, that one almost believed her to be of common birth.
It sounded a suspicious lot like Atif.
The two were quite similar sometimes.
I smiled slightly. "On to a more... serious topic.", I said and leaned forward, "I heard, that both you and I were in the Empire of Astares Amauricanum. What did you think of them?"

Nela, Prinzessin von Zieselhaven und Elms.
Port Aya, Hoshino.

"A bit of both, actually.", Rena explained, "I study medicine, so a veterinarian, but I also work at the University's stud farm, which is quite awesome!" She grinned. "And I compete in equestrian sports in the Free Lands from time to time - I even speak Selkie."
"Though Guild-Master Cróimiam did say, that you have a terrible accent.", I threw in from the side, a small tease.
It didn't work: "Yeah, I don't get to practice speaking it as much as I'd love to.", she admitted, then shrugged: "But it is better then your Kyrenaian in any case."
Now I shrugged. "What can I say? I am more of a flyer then a speaker.", I told her, who grinned as well.

Aonas Folracht of the Tribe of Wicklow.
Port of Kino, Corona Island.

Ayla had business to attend to in another village, so out into the jungle we would go - I tried (and failed) to distract myself from how her arm pulled her even closer to me then we already were, how her body felt against my back...
With a firm nod, I banished those thoughts to the back of my head, and told Ayla: "Then so it shall be, Milady - to the wilderness!"
And with that, we were on the way, riding down the path at good speed bareback on my trusty horse. Depending on how the street was, it might be a bit bumpy, but as we stuck together, we could keep the balance. For me, it was a new feeling - as said, I was not used to riding bareback, least of all with a passenger, but I suspected, that it was even more of a new feeling for Ayla, who was not used to riding at all.
Somewhere down the path, I asked: "How do you people get around if not mounted?"

I helped Branwen out as we said our goodbyes to Rikka and her companion, then we went into the changing room. Back clothed, an attendant wanted to know, if we were finished and, through the flowers, if we had enjoyed ourselves, to which I nodded: "Indeed, it was very relaxing. A moment, please, though, then we will be dressed."
It took a minute or two, Branwen had really been dizzy, but by the end, we wore the swimsuits and our regular clothes over it.
"How about we hit the restaurant?", I suggested to Branwen, "Get something to drink into both of us?"
My sister nodded. "Sounds like a plan."

Prince Damir ibn-Razia.

Yasmin and I bowed our heads lightly in gratitude.
"Thank you for the good wishes.", Yasmin spoke, "It is my first child, so I am very nervous... luckily, I have support in the form of my own mother and of my mother-in-law. I'll manage."
"We will manage.", I emphasized, which made Yasmin giggle. "I might only be able to hold your hand, but I will be there for you. And so will Aurelia."
Yasmin nodded. "I know.", she said and pecked me on the cheek. Then she smiled at Tess and Satou. "If I may ask, have you two thought about having children? Either through adoption or by artificial insemination?"
I looked at the two of them as well.

The Kitan, Marcella and Aurelia

Marcella sipped her tea, mulling over what to say. She already knew, Aurelia in particular didn't seem to care for them, but that was okay, that was fine. Aurelia after all was her own woman, a free thinker on her own, not Marcella's puppet no matter what the yellow press might say! Even so, she doubted it'd hurt The Sultanate's relationship with the UIS. "They're interesting I think. Unique. I want to give them a chance to be good friends. I know, you may not really like them, that's okay. They treated all of us with a great amount of respect and courtesy when we visited them, I feel I should give them the same. I think we could be good partners. "

Hoshino

"That's so amazing! I love horses but well, never had the chance to actually ride them. I would sure love to some time but until then, I just need to learn about them some more. You two are pretty close, are you friends or lovers even?"

Corona

"We walk." She giggled "Is that so surprising? Oh I guess it is for many who aren't here. Corona as an island isn't very big, you could traverse it in a couple days probably if you know where you're going. But yes, walking is common. There's also oxen to haul carts around and plow fields for farmers. It's become a little side business for a lot of farmers, to run a sort of taxi service with a simple cart. Boat is an option too."

The Kitan, Aurora

"Yes or course." She replied leaving the fresh batch of towels and excusing herself to let them dress in privacy.

The restaurant busy with customers but had tables open for the two ladies. The Hostess greeted them, "Good afternoon! You're just in time we have a table freed up if you'd like one."

"Oho that's fine, that's fine. I really wouldn't expect many to take interest in our local politics!" She laughed again the idea the two would be at her door tomorrow ready to be married "I've seen such haste before, so I wouldn't be surprised. But if you feel to take it slow than take it slow. After all, you do come from different worlds here. It's one thing for two islanders to be eager to match and mate but you two will be a special case. But I have a good feeling. As for her husband, I think you best let her tell you. I could tell you but that's personal to her."

Hoshino

"Sure, I know a fine inn you can stay at! In fact I know they also have a vacancy from a last minute cancellation so you should be in luck!" She lead them down the dirt paths that wound down the mountain back to the village square along to her family's little fish stand. "Mama, papa, I'm back now!"

Her parents poked out "Oh welcome back!"

"Brought ya a couple of customers! Have a seat." She urged them to sit at a wood table. "How's the supply?" Mayna asked her mother.

"Getting low, you mind checking our nets?" She responded

"Will do!" She went along off to the shore to do that. Leaving the mother to ask the travelers "Now, what can I get you fine folks today?"

Satou took this one again, "I certainly have given it plenty of thought. I think I'd very much like to be a mother! I was raised by my mother and grandmother, mostly my grandmother and grandfather too. Well from them, I feel like I have a lot of experience and wisdom to impart. Boy or girl! I feel like Tess has the same. The way I've seen her mother and her! It's special and unique one of a kind."

Regardless, I was intrigued by Marcella's reply. It was true, I was not exactly their greatest fan, but I had kept that a closely guarded secret, as Kyrenaian Policy was: Ever since a Princess Tariqa bint-Ilia (my great-grandmother) accompanied Kian-Sultan to a state visit to the Free Lands in 1941, it was almost policy, that someone wrote a report about it for the press, how the country was, who the people were, no state secrets, especially when it was a pleasurable visit. If it was not a pleasurable visit, then it was policy to 'show' that by not showing it, by not writing a report for the newspapers.
This time, no one had written a report. If asked as to how I had found the visit, my standard reply was, that the hiking trip was nice.
"I agree with you on one account: They are a unique bunch.", I said diplomatically, "Yet, I must also admit, that I had rarely been in a place, where I had felt less safe then the Silver Palace. And I've been to Dhaer."

Something to drink and to eat, that'd be awesome - especially since Branwen looked a bit hungry, too. My adorable puppy of a sister had that look in her eyes when she was, one, which one could only spot if one knew her.

"No ma'am," Ayane replied. "We're old enough to walk, talk and well that means we're old enough to help out here. Grandma and grandpa run the shop and handle everything, we just help out by taking the money and stocking and cleaning."

"Yup, that's what we do!" Ayumi replied just as cheerful. "I guess you never had to?"

The girls craned their necks a little to see if they could see what was happening outside but all they could gather from their vantage point was a few figures near the doorway so they returned their attention to Cornelia.

"You know they do accept donations without the need to buy anything right?" She pulled out a pen and paper to write a few things down, just making a few notes for later. Someone else joined them, making a few disparaging remarks about the shop and a large sum of money, no doubt that also meant she was about to get a little radio buzz herself in just a moment. "Yessir, I'm with the Aurora Police." She pointed again at the badge fastened to the front of her hakama, "I followed you from the temple to watch your backs for you, but I can see you folks can take care of yourselves. I've seen my share of tourists making a spectacle of themselves and painting a large target on their backs but I'm not going to worry about you." Her radio buzzed it was indeed the port police officers, frankly the sooner she got these folks to move along the better or she might just feel the urge to shoot them herself. "Yeah just give it the quick over and send them through." She replied to her radio.

"Enjoy the festival." Instead of leaving though she actually entered the shop. "Welcome!" Ayumi greeted.

"Oh, good afternoon ladies. Don't mind me, I'm wanting to browse a little."

"Okay, let us know if you need anything."

The girls returned their attention to Cornelia. "So what else would you like to know? It's not every day we get to talk to people from other countries."

''My, my - I have to say that this is a very noble work ethic that speaks of your maturity. This is something I can very much relate to, even though my own personal field of work that I had to do for a while, demanded of me to master the art of discipline, patience, but also quick thinking and a hardworking ethic that has served me well after all these years.'' Said the slender-legged princess in disguise. Cornelia still leaned for support on one of the glass display counters, facing the two young shopkeepers whose tall constitution made her look imposing to some people. Something for which Cornelia was glad that these two women at least, did not find her stature intimidating. Truly men have different perception when it comes to who can stretch oneself into becoming the tallest stick out of the bunch, or so I gather. Thought the lush, raven-haired woman.

Cornelia turned around to see her husband still outside, conversing with Honchar, at which she smirked at the idea that just sparked in her mind and shifting her eyes back down on the two, innocent girls. Inclining down slightly as if she was intending to whisper something to them...until suddenly the announcement of another unknown female voice made her vision snap back at the door, the sight of this little Amazonian corner becoming a little too crowded, in the opinion of the Cassadian princess.

Especially now that whoever this random person was, did not appear to be a regular passer-by - a suspicion that would be confirmed by a discreet badge and glimpse of what Cornelia deduced was a shoulder pistol harness. Leaving the princess to discern the fact that this unassuming character was a plain-clothed policeman, something that she had had to deal with a-plenty during her time in the Air Force.

A surprise to be sure, one that was very unwelcome to the proud and matronly woman that was Cornelia. Deciding on a recourse of pre-emptive action with which Cornelia wanted to de-fang any surprising moves by whoever this policewoman was, if she was to persist with her ridiculous demands.

''With what may I be of aid, officer?'' Cornelia asked, her tone all too polite to border into the realm of mockery.

And as tensions were stirring and lowering like an amusement park train ride, the two men of character, one the aristocrat and consort to the Princess, Count Treize Khushrenada, and the other, their bodyguard who was to provide security while they were on shore -brooded with grumbles and scruffy jabs at the lack of urgency of the team of Royal Knight-Agents that were supposed to have already arrived at their current place they were by an uncomfortable lack of sharpness in time which was usually unexpected of such well-trained men of skill in combat, discipline and loyalty which could be nigh, unmatched by similar servicemen of other such secret service bodyguard organization throughout the world.

Not aware, the team had halted to load back the luggage that Cornelia and Treize had left off at the Kitan Hotel, which Kassadnaya had to drag over through the streets, in this still hot and dense air of the late afternoon which she had to haul over to the yacht-like a mule. All were a manner of conditions that could have left the poor servant girl reeling from hit stroke if it was not for the God-send that was encountering the Knight-Agent who up until that moment were in a hurry.

"All right, you know to flag us if you folks need anything."

"Always, always." She bowed a few times for the officer and told her a few other things that happened through the morning. "Nothing too serious but that's that."

Marcella frowned slightly "Oh my, it sounds like you didn't have a nice time there." It was a stark contrast to Marcella's visit where she felt rather safe and sound. Granted she had two bodyguards in tow and her sister with her. "Nevertheless, I'm sure things will all work out between us all. Even if it comes down to just minding our own. I'll admit, Aurelia, I'm a bit of a push over." Something she only confessed to her parents, sister and now Aurelia. "It's becoming a sticking point of critics of mine. I'm the 'Appeasement Duchess.' It's my great insecurity about myself as Monarch. Maybe I am but at the same time, I also feel like we're not in much of a position to bargain. Time heals wounds they say, I think it also makes people forget. People are forgetting about the war. Both a blessing and a curse if you ask me. Being pushy is what got us in trouble once."

"Hehe sorry if we've been overly prying about you personally. You folks are just interesting to us I suppose. It's nice to be able to talk with friendly faces from another place with other professions other well i think ya get it. We've been living here all our lives but we've become intrigued by the world around us. But at the same time, I'm not a seafarer like he is."

"Ah hardly that, I just have my sea legs is all. I could weather any storm too but most islanders can say that already."

"I just think that's so lovely. People in the world have forgotten the old ways of life. It's easy to look at us like we're just behind the times but I think we're just content with how things have been. No need to throw the baby with the bathwater they say! We just keep things the way we've always known them and let them roll along with the changes. Still that's impressive this man can walk so far and so long. I've walked this whole island before and i can't say I'd want to do that every day."

"Right this way." She guided them to the free table that was freshly cleaned and ready for them. "How about to start you guys with something to drink? Cold, warm, whatever you like, we have tea, coffee and various alcoholic beverages to pick from."

"Have fun!" I say to Owen as he departs for the shoreline with Mayna.
"So Ma'am," I continue as I turn back to Mayna's mother, "do you get a lot of locals who come for here for lunch, or dinner?" I ask, curious about the establishment's type of clientele.

I follow Mayna to the shoreline, where she shows me various nets in the water.
"I've read that indeed, fishing is a big part of the UIS food." I reply to the nice girl. "Although you know Sunplena, I've heard of Islands that are sometimes more focused on getting their food from the land, by cattle herding. I saw it once on the Island of Oleron, off the French Atlantic Coastline. Located just two kilometers away from the continent, this Island, in the Middle Ages, was more focused on raising cattle and cultivating the land than fishing, because of the dangerousnness of the ocean. Although they did fish a bit by the way of Fish Sluices.
Those things are built with rocks, in semi-circles, along the coast so that they are covered by sea when it's the high tide. When it's the ebb tide, the fish who have been in the sluice get trapped because of the sea going back. The locals then only need to walk in shallow water to get the fish." I explain to the little girl with a smile, as I enter the water too, my waterproof boots keeping my feet dry.

We had no cases, but the country’s borders have been shut down for a while and our economy has been hit hard, being a large industrious, touristy nation. I do recommend coming down when we have events again”.

"I have heard about that, we've been in the same boat, we haven't entirely closed off but we have no cases here. I hope it does stay that way. I've been around a very long time you see, I've seen my share of pandemics, plagues and crises, some respond well, others poorly. But that's beside that, I shall hope to make it to Cartoonia soon then. Many a good place I'd like to go, honestly I'd like to take a break from managing and travel a bit. I've trained up many capable young ladies that I know this place would be in good hands if I took a few months and went to sea."

"Oh my! Such pristine beaches" Erza says to Jellal. "Almost like the ones at home".

"Almost," Jellal says, "I think these beaches here are much cleaner. And there are only a few restaurants popping up here, while we have those boardwalks with those amusement park attractions and shopping centers. This is honestly why I love my job here, it is just that beautiful. Though, not as beautiful as you," he ends in a flirty manner.

"Oh, Jellal" Erza answers blushing.

"Yeah think we've soaked long enough, 'bout time we get onto going, don'cha think, Shino?"

"Mmm!" shino nodded

"Ya folks go on and change, we'll meet ya down here when yer ready!"

With them going off to get ready it was time for mother and daughter to get ready here. A simple short yukata between the two of them, cutting off just above their knees. She had a small bag of supplies with her as well for her job. "getting onto late midday I suspect." She looked at the sky to tell.

Tricia also made her way out of the pool, her blue bikini showing off her figure and the massive half body tattoo but also a pair of nipple rings that pressed against the fabric if the bikini top.

Once out she adjusts her bikini and picks up her towel before making her way to her room to get Nebo and Chyna though she didn't get too far in her room before Chyna jumped at her as Nebo threw a small ball.

Nebo was back in her catsuit, and soon Tricia was in her black leather pants, white shirt and leather jacket. She clips a harness to Chyna ando soon they were off heading down to the lobby with Chyna leading the way....

"I agree. Let's go there then. Thank you a lot for your warm welcome and your explanations Matron." I say with a grateful nod to the clergy woman. "Have a nice Festival. Goodbye." I finish as we leave the Temple with large smiles on our faces, waving goodbye at the nice Matron who welcomed us.

And so, once out of the Temple, we walk towards the beach, to see what else the day has in store for us...

The beaches were certainly crowded with natives and tourists alike. Natives not just from Corona but the other islands too. Pretty easy to spot Animalians, with their animal characteristics of tails and and ears, neighbors of nearby Stillestando were usually a bit more fair skinned, Hoshinites and Aurorans were pretty interchangeable so it could be tricky to tell just from appearance alone, dialects usually gave it away more than anything else. Coronas were also easy, naturally they always had the darker complexion compared to everyone else. That's the unique makeup of the islanders gathered here today.

A family of three, a wife, her husband and their still young son, were certainly enjoying their time here, natives to Corona as it was easy to spot. Enjoying a little meal on the beach together and playing in the sand, making sand castles. The day was still pretty nice but high clouds were boiling over the horizon which meant the weather might turn in the evening hours, but it also might not. Breeze was nice and steady, surf strong but not too rough.

"Livestock farming is a newer concept here, only taking off in the post war eras and even then it's mostly done by the villagers who are more inland. On Corona you know, some of their northern villages began hog farming a while ago, of course many escaped and now feral hogs are running about there!" She chuckled a little "They make due though, you know, now they've taken to hunting them. You might have noticed that all our major port hubs are Southern!" She had to kind of speak up over the roar of the tide and waves. "The northern waters are trickier, swifter. Not impossible for seasoned and skilled sailors but I wouldn't want to be caught out in a storm in a tiny boat up north!" She pulled out from the water a rather large net filled with fresh fish.

"Sorry, I guess you didn't really ask for a lecture huh?" She chuckled a bit.

Tommy, Maria, Sarah and me park our bikes at the edge of the beach, before attaching them all together to a tree so that no one steals them. Then, after taking off our shoes, we walk along the sea, letting our feet get warmed up by the sand.
A few meters in front of us, a family of three, most likely Coronans due to their skin color, are enjoying their time at the beach, their son playing in the sand while the parents keep an eye on him while eating.

As we settle down our packs near them, I nod with a smile at them, as a way of saying "Good day." I don't know if they would understand if I greeted them in English.
So, after taking our clothes off, we end u^in bikinis for Sarah and Maria, and swimming trunks for Tommy and me.
"All right, last to the water is a dummy!" exclaims Sarah as she starts running towards the sea.
"You bet Sarah!" I reply before racing after her, Tommy and Maria following us.
I manage to catch Sarah just before her foot enters the water, raise her up, and splash her down in the waves.

With Chyna on a short leash, Tricia is first to arrive wearing leather trousers, a white blouse and a black sleeveless leather jacket, Nebraska walking along side wearing a black skintight catsuit. Chyna is interesting everything around her so is sniffing the floor with her tail held high
"Lets go!" says Tricia.

When the locals came forwards, Chyna made her way to them then put her front paws on one of the local girls legs and looked up at the local and let out a meow asking politely for a fuss.
"Chyna, what do ya want of them, they got no kitty bits ya daft cat!" laughs Nebo before turning to them "Thank you, we're here or a couple of days before flying on to Greater Orcadia, its a nice little island you got here"

Tricia turns to the mother of Shino and hands her a bar of Orcadian chocolate and Shino a pack of Orcadian cookies, "try these" she says

“What makes Cartoonia special?”, Jay says, thinking of all of the cultural importance of his native home. “Well, we use a lot of old transportation vehicles around our islands kind of like here. Though I would say our machines are a tad bit more advanced. We travel on steam-powered railroads, we have vintage cars, which are all still manufactured at home, and we sail on steamships, large steamships that could carry a vast quantity of passengers. Of course, that is outgoing to different nations of course, but we still have some big steamships operating that ferry people around the islands. We usually like to create massive celebrations that include music and art. In fact, we have an international parade we host every year to celebrate Easter. I would consider that a great time to visit Cartoonia. We also host many wind bands and orchestras so entertainment is plenty.

Anyway, I recommend some of the local museums and memorials in the capital. It delves into great detail of the history of our nation and the triumphs and strife we went through. If you are looking for wonders, there is this area in Beach City called Crystal Temple Point. It is the former headquarters of the Crystal Legion in the 1960s, a rich tapestry of an unknown part of Cartoonian history. It’s a large cliff with a temple inside. Of course, there are a ton of beaches, though they have the added boardwalks with shops, casinos, and amusement parks, just like the big one in Akane Beach, a beautiful place by the way. Speaking of which, if you’re looking for some European fair, I recommend the province of Ishgar, especially Magnolia, a great lakeside town.

If your in for technology, my home city of New New York has innovative scientists who look towards the future. Those are some of the places and things that I know. I’m sure there is more information if you know where to look”.

The couple has their attention on the two natives.

“It’s no problem,” Erza says confidently. “We are certainly no stranger… of meeting strangers”. She laughed a little. “It’s my first time here, though my lover has been here many times”.

It wasn't too much longer of a walk, it really went by just like that and they were here, a smaller village, very small compared to the big bustling port of Aurora. "Here we are. My client is just up the row a little ways." Of course the unusual guests in this village drew plenty of attention from the locals. "Don't mind them, they're not used to many visitors." The chocolate given to shino and her mother was smooth in texture and not overly sweet, not overly sour like dark chocolate, more like a milk chocolate.

"Ya welcome" says Tricia as she then glanced down at Chyna who was walking on a leash and seemingly well trained too for a 1 year old cat.

At the patient's house, Tricia held the door open as Nebraska and the locals went in before picking up the ginger and white ball of fluff that is Chyna who let out a soft meow.

"Thanks" says Tricia before taking her seat, Nebraska doing similar. She then turns to the woman, "I'm Tricia, spikey head here is Nebo, furball here is Chyna"

As Dad, Uncle Tommy, Aunt Maria and me enjoy our time in the waves, splashing ourselves and each other or swimming, I notice the mother and child of the family settled near us enter the water too.

As I look to them, I feel some movements behind me, and Dad's hands grabbing me by the waist a second later, raising me up in the air like he did a few moments ago.
"Dad, put me down!" I exclaim in laughter.
"Okay Sarah!" he replies back with his own laugh, before launching me in the water, as I love him to do since I've been a child, whether in rivers or at sea.

But this time, it seems Dad didn't aim me well, because as I see myself approaching the water, my vision is suddenly filled by a human form, and in a split second, I just have time to realize it's the woman that is leading her son in the water, and more precisely, my head is going towards her abdomen.

As you may guess, in my current state, I have no means to stop myself in flight, and so, I can't do anything but land head first in her abdomen, causing the both of us to topple down in the water, with pain in my head and most likely pain for her in her abdomen.

"By Ymir, I'm so sorry Ma'am! I didn't mean to do that! Are you all right?" asks Dad as he rushes to help her, Uncle Tommy and Auntie Maria following closely behind.

"That's a good idea!" I reply with enthusiasm. "And I'm sure that indeed, you have plenty to teach others. Just look at what you could say about your grandmother for example, that would be a good start." I add before looking at the net she carries filled with fish.

"Do you need help with this? If you want, I can carry it if it's too heavy." I offer with a humble smile.

"Good to meet ya folks, I'm Itsuki. So you picked up tourist agent ontop of midwife duties?" She asked

"Ahahaha, nah just met some nice folks, figure i'd show them a little off the beaten path of the big port Aurora. So how you feeling?" She examined her patient

"Oh I ace from head to toe, I'm lucky when I can keep anything down and I'm just waiting for a big enough storm to finally get things to move down there."

"Hehe soon enough, Itsuki, soon enough."

She got out a little chuckle "Hehe yeah, I'm fine. How bout you, you okay? Looks like you went for a little flight. What is the beach if you can't roughhouse a little?"

"I feel the same way! Grandmother was so great with little kids. That was before any kind of formal teachings went on in the islands, just whatever parents and elders had to impart on us young ones!" She managed to throw the rather heavy net over her shoulder "Nah I'm good, I got this! I do this all the time!"

"Yeah I'm good, I've seen worse." I reply with a chuckle as well. "And yeah, I agree, the beach is a place to unwind and get a bit rough." I add with a smile, before extending my hand for a handshake. "Sarah Miller." I say as I introduce myself to the woman.

"Okay, let's get back to the stand then." I reply with a nod as we start walking back to Manya's family foodstand.

"Good to meet ya folks, I'm Itsuki. So you picked up tourist agent ontop of midwife duties?" She asked

As Itsuki addressed herself, Tricia unclipped Chyna from the leash before taking a seat. Seeing the leash had been removed Chyna's reaction was to make her way over to Itsuki where she jumped onto the arm of the seat to see what all the fuss was about and to politely ask for a petting in the way only a cat can do!

"So you looking forward to the big day?" asks Tricia as a ring tone came from Nebraska's backpack, this interrupted Tricia as she looked at Nebo who was reaching for the phone.

"whats that?" asks Tricia

"C-DAM..." replied Nebo "...something has happened back home"

"big?" asks Tricia as Nebo gets her phone out.

Nebo starts to read the message, "big enough, that boiling lake in the Three Volcanoes Park, well its become a volcano again and is now a fountain of lava, so the govenment has issued a Civil Defence Advisory Message"

"Kanin." She introduced herself. "my son, Ufilo. My husband here," she said as he came up to her side to check on her, seeing no worse for the wear of course. "Nokte. Where you visiting from? How you liking the festival?"

The short walk back to the stand was quick and uneventful. Manya set the heavy net down for her father to take care of. "Now that we got it all, time to really serve you folks up a fish banquet like you never seen!"

"Which ever sex the baby is, im sure he or she will be a lovelly baby" replies Tricia as Chyna noses in for a closer look, gently kneading Itsuki, knowing something is going on.

Nebo turns to Itsuki
"potentially, we have 3 volcanoes back home, Mount Havaar, Mount Sula'm'buru and Lake Rosen which was a boiling water lake due to close proximity of magma heating the river that flows into and out of the lake, the lake is too hot to swim in, it would quite litterally cook you as the water was around eighty centigrade, however an earthquake today has finally meant that the magma has now become lava and the volcano has erupted, this flashed the lake which no one knows really how deep it is as no measuring equipment can cope with the temperature and no one can get in because it will cook you like a steamed chicken thigh in around 5 minutes"

Tricia turns to Nebo, "whoa, that sounds nasty"

"last time it erupted, Jesus was walking and preaching his thing and the Romans were the dominant power in the western hemisphere, then over the last two thousand years the magma crept to the surface but didnt erupt but since around the middle ages the lake has been a boiler, though Sula is the dangerous one, last time she went off, it was without warning and had not erupted in recorded history. it wiped a town off the map" says Nebraska. "This one could go on for a bit with lava flowing down the river valley, Nearest town is Barentsburg and thats several hours drive away, Its pretty remote"
