I have some questions regarding this role-play before I'd make a RSVP, I hope you don't mind me asking! What year is this set in, because that will determine who I could bring Character wise, and also, Is the current IRL Pandemic happening in you're world and will we be following Health Guild-lines. I know it's a bit ridiculous to ask but I'm sure you've noticed other role-play threads including the Pandemic in how their Leaders/Characters interact with each other, If you are then It's no problem for me. I just want to make sure I understand before I'd post something and make a fool of myself.

Ask away! This is set current day in 2020 CE. And, I probably should have explained, but the IRL Pandemic is not happening in Rivienland. Tbh, I just don't feel interested in the associated RP with COVID. Any other questions?

MB is a semi-presidential republic, meaning we have a Prime Minister as the head of government, and an elected King as head of state.

The Kingship is in name only; it is not hereditary, and though the government provides them with homes, travel tickets, vehicles, food, and a lot of other things, they rarely live very lavishly, instead living like normal mid-to-upper class citizens, except the government provides a lot for them.

Essentially think of it like what France has: a prime minister elected by parliament who is head of government, and a president (except here it’s called a king) elected directly by the people to serve as head of state.

Ok, so are all of my characters.

Lets just assume that introductions have already happened, and that all of the OP's characters are busy inside the palace or in the kitchen stressing about something, perhaps the caterers for the main course are stuck in traffic? Our characters have all been left just to mingle in the Main Garden, away from the supervision of the hosts.

Barael, I think we should pause further IC stuff until Rivienland either approves your explanation for the delay or gives us an alternative. IMO, a more realistic situation would be that a lot more unnamed/irrelevant NPCs are here than was initially obvious to our characters, since we've already written that we're in line and waiting to meet our host & hostess, and we can chat amongst ourselves while they're making their introductions. I know it's still handwave-y, but it wouldn't mess with the continuity or require retroactive post edits.

Hey everyone! So its been about two weeks and after doing a lot of thinking, I will not be continuing this RP. My schedule, while getting a little better, still doesn't give me enough time. Also, I did some reflecting and I honestly think I rushed attempting this RP. With my writing skill and time management, I think I took too much on. Maybe another time, when my skills improve and my time frees up, I can try again.
