After an international dispute between the Sultanate of Sharifistan and the Empire of Danistarab lead to the death of the Sultan of Sharifistan.
100 paratroopers have been parachuted into an Islamist area of Danistarab whilst a group of intelligence soldiers have been deployed to it’s colony.
There is a plan to send in more units of the Royal Sharifistani Army, the Royal Air Cavalry and the Royal Sharifistani Navy as well as the Free Danistarabian Army (a Sharifistani-backed group).

The SKA Misr sails through the waves, a hulking behemoth that would perfectly embody the word "strength". It carries a total of twenty-six multirole fighter aircraft, alongside a combination of ten helicopters to fulfill the roles airborne early warning and control, and anti-submarine warfare. Accompanying it is a single Al-Qahira Class Stealth Guided Missile Destroyer, alongside four Baghdad Class Stealth Guided Missile Frigates. Hidden from prying eyes, a nuclear attack submarine also sails under the waves.

Each ship flies a black flag, the shahada written across it in white; with a white bar to the side closest to the pole with a black crescent upon it. The black standard, banner of the eagles; the flag of the Abbasid Caliphate and Cairene Sultanate of Arabia.

An AEW&C helicopter takes off, hovering across the seas; scouting the area for any incoming threats.

While the Abbasid Caliphate and Cairene Sultanate of Arabia has yet to officially join a side, it is eager to project its power into the region and further its geopolitical interests by intervening.

2 aircraft carriers (with radar-jamming equipment) and 20 submarines set sail from Aqaba for the coast of Danistarab. The aircraft carriers are each captained by Jordanian men in their late forties. The plan is for the Naval Air Arm to be deployed against Danistarabian naval defences whilst the submarines defend the aircraft carriers.

128 planes take off, flying to Danistarab with cries of "Allahu Akbar!", "Bismillah Ir Rahman Ir Raheem" and even "the Lord is my shepherd."
They fly towards the Danistarabian naval base, overcoming all fear as, in the words of the Roman poet Horace, "Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori " ("it is sweet and proper to die for your country").

The Royal Sharifistani Navy does a recruitment drive in Aqaba, they are especially interested in recruiting for the Naval Air Arm and Royal Naval Ghazi Corps.
Meanwhile the 1st Battalion, Royal City of Industry Rifles are flown in to patrol the city in case of a Danistarabian invasion.

The planes, F-16 Fighting Falcons, fly within range of Danistarab.It is now up to the Danistarabian Air Force to either oppose them or allow the navy base to suffer an airstrike.

They are protected by air support and submarines.
They pray to Allah, hopeful that they will be able to liberate Danistarab.

The Pashtunistani secessionist movement also declares “war” on Danistarab,
“These miserable Pharaohs grow fat on their filthy money whilst their people die for their arrogance and greed. These individuals are an affront to the religion of Islam, the religion followed by most of their citizens, our brothers, who mostly happen to be of the sable hue.”

We fight for many things: the defence of our homeland, the religion of Islam and to liberate the ordinary people of Danistarab and it’s colonies.
Many of these people are already lending support to our cause.
I think we will die for each other.
I would certainly die for any man here!”

The Federated Republic of Varenskjyr has recently been alerted about the ongoing dispute between the Sultanate of Sharifistan and the Empire of Danistarab and expresses grave concern and regret at the death of Sultan Suleiman Khan. While the Federated Republic of Varenskjyr recognizes the delicate balance of the situation and has no desire in supporting either side in the ensuing conflict, reports from the VIAD and OSIS have urged us to take a heightened response to the matter. Reports that civilians acting as foreign fighters on behalf of the Empire of Danistarab are engaged in the current conflict have been facilitated via the VIAD and OSIS. Ever since the massive defeat of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria last year at the Battle of Baghouz, many Varenskjyrian fighters have sought refuge in other conflicts. From the Kebabibabi-Vatican States War of 2020 to the current conflict in Danistarab, these fighters have used chaos to plot acts of terror and violent extremism on home soil.

The Federated Republic of Varenskjyr will not stand idly by as these nonstate actors are given the operational capacity to act as they please, and where there is lawlessness, Varenskjyr will bring justice. To that end, the Federated Republic of Varenskjyr is monitoring the situation closely and will do the utmost to end the threats of separatism and terrorism once and for all.

The Federated Republic of Varenskjyr sends this memo to officially open a dialogue between Varenskjyr and the Sultanate of Sharifistan. It has come to the attention of the Department of International Terrorism and Violent Extremism at the OSIS and of the Bureau of National Security and Intelligence Services that several Varenskjyrian nationals are currently using the conflict between the Sultanate of Sharifistan and the Empire of Danistarab for cover, and are currently residing in territories held by the Empire of Danistarab. The VIAD and OSIS have confirmed that several individuals with allegiances to these officially recognized terrorist organizations may be within your de jure borders:

Islamic State fil-Varenskjyr (ISV)
Jaysh Thawrar al-Kalkenislund (JTK)

As such, this memo is the Federated Republic of Varenskjyr's official offer of support to the Sultanate of Sharifistan. The VIAD and OSIS of the Federated Republic of Varenskjyr are well-versed in intelligence operations, asymmetric warfare, and urban conflict. The VIAD and OSIS are willing to act as consultants and as active agents in undermining the Islamist elements of the Empire of Danistarab. To that end, the Federated Republic of Varenskjyr requests that the Sultanate of Sharifistan cooperate on matters of extraditing Varenskjyrian nationals back to their home country for matters of trial and justice. The VIAD strongly urges your cooperation, or at the least, permission to operate in your borders to secure such targets. The VIAD will leave these covert diplomatic channels open unless specified otherwise, or until a deadline of 08.17.20 at 00:00.
