He let out a breath with dismay. "Hey, how are you doin'?," a voice behind him said. He was caught off guard and turned his head around. "Oh, it's you...," he replied. His father gave him a beaming smile, and put his hand on Lawrence's shoulder. "So... what d'ya think about that new school you're going to in... what is it called..." "Sharifistan." "Yeah, how are you feelin' bout that whole operation?" Lawrence looked down for a bit, pondering. "To be honest," he stated," I think I'll miss being here with you and mom." His father took his hand off of his shoulder, chuckling a bit. "What's so funny?," the son asked. "When I was your age, I felt the same way. But don't worry, you can always call us if you feel doubts." Lawrence smiled, turning his body around to hug his father. The dad had a surprised expression at first, but then he started hugging his son too.

So hypothetically, what would that have looked like?

After beth started moving, Carissa would move her legs perpendicular to the direction she was being dragged in and use the momentum and Carissa's weight to pull down into a roll and get on top, get a leg over Beth's stomach and bring up the other knee to beths head, then use both arms to pull between beth's neck and shoulder.

The Carissa-Beth system twisted around that point until Beth lost her balance and fell onto her back, with Carissa landing next to her. Carissa was prepared for this eventuality, while Beth was not, allowing Carissa to position herself on top of Beth and begin wrenching Beth's shoulder, which hurt, a lot. Beth's escape from the situation was as simple as using her legs and the arm that was not currently being dislocated to push off the ground and send them both tumbling to the side, Carissa's side. Carissa was now on her side facing Beth as was Beth on her side facing Carissa, and Beth was angry. Continuing the motion, Beth was already scrambling to her feet, as this time it was Carissa who had not anticipated the motion.

In that situation carissa would probably try to make up for the fact that beth was getting up sooner by kicking at her legs, aiming at her knees, both to slow beth down and have them there to kick at any foot that beth might lift up to stomp on her. Meanwhile Carissa would start sitting up with the aid of her elbows and non kicking leg. She'd then start trying to stand up and if she felt safe enough, stop kicking and use that leg to help her self up.

Additionally throughout this, Carissa would mentally prepare for Beth to fall on her again, making sure to be ready to bring up a knee to nail Beth with on her way down if she did.

Hypothetically, Julia would still be observing said conflict. She would probably be tempted to intervene but also be worried about the repercussions of such an intervention.

Hypothetically once Beth was on both feet, she would use that opportunity to begin punching the sitting Carissa, and to stop her from standing up.

If Beth did that, Carissa would just lay on her back and focus on blocking beth's punches while keeping her legs up near her chest, waiting for a chance to grab an arm with both arms.

If she got the chance, she'd wrap both legs around it and in the same motion roll over in which ever direction bent the shoulder the arm was attached to more akwardly.

If Carissa then had beth's arm trapped between her thighs while kneeling, she would pull the arm forward and put her full weight down on it as close to Beth's shoulder as possible. She would then ask Beth if she enjoyed having a working arm.

So hypothetically, Beth would then use her free arm to lift Carissa's legs up from below, taking the weight off her arm, and the charge the wall while pushing Carissa along in front of her like a sledgehammer, taking advantage of having imobilised Carissa's legs, and the relatively low friction someone has when resting on their shoulder blades. If Carissa struggled with her legs Beth would use the opportunity to free her arm.

In that situation, Carissa would aggresively roll back on to her backand this time she'd start kicking her square in the chest even as Beth started pulling her arm away.

She'd also yell that Beth stop holding her down with her weight and let them stand up and fist fight if she isn't a coward.

In case they reached the wall, Carissa would also be ready to pull her self up to lean against it.

So Beth would reach the wall with Carissa being propelled in front of her like a high-speed game of wheelbarrow. If you're not familiar with wheelbarrow, don't worry, it's a crash course. Carissa would be slammed headfirst into the wall, and would then attempt to use the wall to pull herself upright, all while being kicked by Beth, the wall serving to ensure the entire force of each kick was absorbed by her body. As Carissa stood up, Beth would begin punching her as well, keeping her stuck against the wall with the continual force of the pummeling.
