Terra, Ordean Sol System
2340

40 years. What was referred to as the 'War of Final Retribution' had taken place over 40 years ago upon the unexpected return of the Ordenites to Terra after a 300 year absence following the fall of the Ordenite National Socialist Realm by the powers that were in a region formerly known as Greater Dienstad. Following the fall of what was formerly known as the Ordenite Reich, remnants of the Nazi leadership and its followers had covertly left the planet and sought solitude on the Moon. Unbeknownst to the victorious Dienstadi powers that liberated Ordena, the Ordenites had maintained in complete secrecy infrastructure that would support long term life on the moon. Significant technology and resources were sent off to the Moon where the Ordenites had built several major bases of operations for receiving and implementing the technology and raw resources that would eventually lead to their return for revenge. However the Ordenites had also been keen on sending probes to other planets in the Sol system, one of these planets was Saturn and in particular it's largest moon Titan. Years before the end of the Ordenite Reich, probing and expeditions to Saturn's moons had been done with actual outposts and bases being established soon after. It was the only obvious move to make for the Ordenite leadership as it's regime on Terra was rapidly disintegrating before them. Besides the need for the creation of further infrastructure for long term survival off planet, the question of increasing birth rates became a prevalent issue.

The birthing program originally used on Terra was thus recycled off planet to keep fertility rates going for the future. As time passed the Ordenites off world began to make efforts for further exploration of the Sol System and even in the outer rim of the system as well. This lead to further habitable moons being occupied for resources and living space, all the while Ordenite technology was flourishing making way for entirely new advancements in several fields. All new spacecraft of different variants including military grade were created and soon enough began to be manufactured for use in the newly envisioned Kriegsmarine. Weaponry and vehicles of all sorts were also designed and put to be manufactured among the various bases established by the Ordenites throughout the Sol System. After the passing of over a hundred years the Ordenites off world were beginning to develop themselves into a minor space civilization capable of travel throughout most of the system. The mindset did not change and it was only of revenge against those on Terra that brought upon their banishment into the stars from which survival at first was not certain. Another 200 years would pass before their time for retribution was deemed to become reality as the Ordenites mobilized the Kriegsmarine's full strength along with the rest of the reformed Wehrmacht for a return to Terra. When the Kriegsmarine fleet approached Terra it immediately began shooting down the various satellites and other orbiting structures before beginning to deploy countless fighter craft which began entering Terra's atmosphere and soon enough appearing before the eyes of countless nation's air forces and radars.

The ensuing air battles above the continents of Terra lasted no longer than a few days as Ordenite direct energy weapons made quick work of then modern fighter jets. From the more vastly larger spacecraft that were still orbiting the planet a full scale bombardment began as their direct energy weapons, these being far larger in size and destructive power began to open up. They were very much liberal in their application of these weapons as they laid waste to countless cities across Terra inflicting horrendous casualties and wanton destruction, more than any war fought between those on Terra could ever wage in their lifetime. This 'bombardment' lasted for several Terran days and as much of the planet was in ruins and what survivors their were looking to recover and reorganize, the Ordenites would finally begin the landings of it's Army planet side. The Ordenite Army that made landfall were far different from the Army that was during the fall of the Ordenite Reich. They were adorned in a specially crafted exoskeleton that gave the user twice the physical strength of a normal human which was needed to use the weaponry at their disposal that consisted of variants of a bulky Gauss rifle which fired depleted uranium ammunition at speeds that far exceeded modern Terran weaponry which gave the new Ordenite Army a overwhelming advantage in their conquest. Due to the implications of the planet's resistance that still remained and fought on despite the widespread wanton destruction around them, the complete conquest of Terra would take over 6 Terran years. The result of the final victory over Terra by the victorious Ordenites was the radiated and barren wastes that were left in the wake of the war, what remained of the population the Ordenites did take were sent off world for use as they saw fit.

What resources could still be extracted from Terra that were more or less unharmed from the war were done so by the Ordenites through the managing of outposts throughout the planet. The conquest of Terra and the fulfillment of it's motives for revenge meant that the Ordenites could now focus on other matters regarding their newly established hegemony over the Sol System. FTL travel was one of these matters that the Ordenites looked to improve upon as before the usage of Worm holes previously discovered by the Morridane Commenwealth were prevalent for jumping from one end of the system to the other. It was not until further exploration into the outer rim belt of the Sol System that the Ordenites found a more useful and efficient alternative. Alien artifacts discovered by the Ordenites had led them to the discovery of a new way of FTL travel which was through a power plant that would when integrated into the engines of the Kriegsmarine's fleet of spacecraft allow them the capability of FTL travel. From this discovery would lead to the beginning of the end of the Ordenites isolation within the Sol System and allow them to go forth into other systems to quench their insatiable hunger for power.

URSC Dawntreader
Phalanx-class Cruiser
Adjacent System of Ordean Sol, Solarian Reaches

The tennis ball bounced off the wall with a muffled thump before returning in the direction of Lieutenant Andes, who had just thrown it. It was an unfortunate mistake that he would miss catching this tennis ball, and then be forced to ashamedly retrieve it. In his great quest for some cheap entertainment, he found himself picking up the yellow item next to the boot of Captain D'kanni, who had just walked into the recreational area.

''Haven't I told you not to be damaging the walls already, Andes?'' spoke D'kanni as she let out a puff of bubbles in her helmet with irritation. Andes stood up suddenly, unexpectedly, and saluted her. D'kanni's four glowing purple eyes pierced the human with a gaze that'd turn the water in her helmet ice if it wasn't for the fact it was already heated by her suit. ''Gather your things, and the toy, and meet me on the bridge.''

''Right away, Captain.''

D'kanni was looking over a hologram with some other officers when Andes had arrived. The lieutenant chucked his bag in a chair next to a comms officer, knocking a stack of papers off the desk that the poor man was working on, and joined the group congregating around the hologram. They were staring at star-charts of the area, with a system highlighted by D'kanni. ''Ah, I see you've finally arrived,'' she said to Andes with a another puff of bubbles.

''Alright, now that we're all here,'' the captain said clasping her hands together, ''Michaels back there has been working on a set of signals we've been of picking up on our sensors from this system here.'' D'kanni was of course referring to the man that had been so rudely assaulted by Andes' luggage, and was now standing just behind her with a stack of dishevelled paperwork hastily put back together. He stared at Andes for a moment.

''It's definitely alien, no offence,'' Michaels said as he looked at D'kanni, though she waved the comment off. ''Nothing in the system could naturally propagate the signals, and they are indeed signals. Notably communication traffic, but it's not an encryption we know, and is rather archaic from what we're used to.''

''You need paper to figure that out?''Andes spoke.

''Enough. Anyway, we're within range of the expeditionary perimeter, and it's probably nothing - however, it's not the first time we've run across pirates trying to be of the sneakies.'' Andes smirked, D'kanni's English was good, not always perfect. It didn't go unnoticed though as a doubled-pair of eyes locked onto the lieutenant for a second before she continued. ''We have orders to investigate. So Andes, I'll be of needing to have you navigate us there, and I want everyone else at their station, we don't know if they are sneakies yet or not, but we shall soon find out.''

Andes slid into his chair beside Michaels and typed in the coordinates for the system. Other screens above his head lit up with information about the ship's systems as he flicked switches and engaged the Dawntreader's sublight engines. There was a bluish glow from the engine bells of the warship that slowly grew and pushed the vessel along as it accelerated in the void. They had been sitting in a nearby system running whatever they were running, Andes didn't really care. He got some R&R and that's all that mattered.

''Frameshift Drive Initiated. 3... 2...1...'' The ship suddenly faded from existence in the system and after a moment through hyperspace, then reappeared in the Ordean Sol system out by the Oort Cloud. Immediately, their sensors picked up activity. D'kanni and Michaels were right, there was something or someone here but it wasn't just a single vessel. D'kanni gave the order, and the ship went into General Quarters - hatches along the cruiser's spine opened up as elevators lifted the vessel's railguns from their berth, and point-defence systems went online. The noise from within was loud as the ammunition conveyors started loading weapon systems, and the railguns began their charging procedures.

''Not the sneakies - Notify the URSC Mars - and get a hold of the Security Council. Let them know that we have stumbled on something else. Start scans also, and perform a communication blast on everything.''

''What is it?'' asked Andes as he peered over his seat to the scan information coming in on the hologram.

''A diplomatic fuck-up.''

The Dawntreader began a courtesy blitz as the navy called it, cycling a signal out across the system using every known communication format they were aware of. It was a nice way to identify new contact, though perhaps an irritation for anyone busy listening to music or watching television. The message itself was simple, ''Attention unidentified lifeforms. This is the URSC Dawntreader of the United Republic. Identify yourselves and maintain a suitable distance for operational safety. We mean you no harm.'' All they could do now was cross their fingers.
