Titaniumland Confirmed Return to Worldvision!

Titaniumland is set to return to Worldvision, confirmed by the broadcaster Titaniumland National Television (TNT). 30-second commercial featuring music video and snippet of "Gone", the selected entry performed by singer Chloe Svensson, was shown during the broadcast of nation's most-watched series The Quarantine.

It was followed by Svensson's appearance during the program Good Morning Titans! the next morning. About the song, she stated "It's a feel-good song, wrote it after going through a break-up and the process was actually healing me to go through it," About the preparation to the Worldvision, she stated: "The creative pre-production is finished and now we're rehearsing. Can't wait to perform but at the same I'm really nervous if I screw things up, [laughs]"

To further promote her Worldvision entry, Chloe Svensson will embark on a world tour titled Gone on Tour. The tour will be opened by rapper Southside and R&B singer Benji Moon. After a day of ticket sales, it sold out four Rowland arena dates. Chloe is expected to bring the tour to other nations.

The 5th Grand Final of Vha Mehlodhivestoile is here and it's now time to have your say. We are opening up to the Multiverse to vote in our National Final. This edition has been our biggest edition yet as 12 compete in the Grand Final after 12 unique nations voted across three Semi-Finals. Your votes, mixed with the Britonish Jury (25%) and the Televote (25%) picked these twelve and one of them will become Britonisea's 38th WorldVision Song Contest representative at the 50th anniversary since Britonisea first competed at the contest. TONIGHT: 5 acts competed in the Grand Final of the Landa vy Polkopiya, each of them vying for the crown, which in turn earns them a spot at the Worldvision Song Contest! Moments ago, the voting lines for the Grand Final were closed and everybody is anxiously awaiting the results. Cameras poised around the arena show the anxiety some of the contestants are facing as the presenters stall the show while the votes are being tallied. As the night progresses though, and different interval acts are performed, viewers at home can see the competitors begin to relax as they mingle with one another in the greenroom, enjoy their alcoholic beverages, and dance and sing to some of the songs being performed. Only when the presenters returned to the main stage did tensions start to flare up once more. One by one, points were awarded from the international jurors, and then from the televote, before the final scoreboard was shown to the audience and to the viewers back home.

OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE HOSTING RIGHTS OF THE 81st WORLDVISION SONG CONTEST IN BOSCHKE, BRITONISEA

Britonisea, for the first time since the 66th WorldVision Song Contest, will be bidding to host the competition - The WorldVision Song Contest - in Boschke, the city that once bid for the contest 35 editions ago. This bid marks the 9th time that Britonisea has tried to host the competition [32, 35, 36, 41, 51, 56, 57, 66 and this time, we are offering much more than we have offered in our past hostings...

With it almost being two years since the last time that Britonisea hosted the competition, BITC wanted to host their second ever contest after the amount of fun that they had with the successful hosting in Telm City, which saw Todlichebujoku win with a whopping 160 points - the most points seen in a long time. 33 WorldVision Song Contest delegations flocked to Telm City for what was an amazing contest, and we hope that hosting the contest on what will be Britonisea's 50th anniversary since debuting at the WorldVision Song Contest will bring more nations together as we celebrate not only the past fifty editions of Britonisea, but the past eight one editions of the WorldVision Song Contest. We have a lot to get through in this bid, however. I urge you to continue reading and I hope that by the end of this bid, you'll want to take a trip to Boschke!

The journey of Britonisea in the WorldVision Song Contest, is one that many know about but these days only a few people were there throughout the editions Britonisea participated in since its debut. It was a rather tumultuous journey in the WorldVision Song Contest for Britonisea. The nation debuted at the 31st WorldVision Song Contest in Russadonia, where the nation placed penultimate - the closest to the bottom Britonisea has ever placed. Despite this, the broadcaster for Britonisea at the time was eager to get the contest on their own shores and bid to host the competition at the 32nd WorldVision Song Contest. At the time, for those who weren't around at the 32nd WorldVision Song Contest, there were multiple different nations that bid in any edition, and so due to Britonisea's lack of experience especially in comparison to the 10 other host bidders, the North Telm bid failed to impress and came last place - or 11th. The nation didn't bid again until the 35th WorldVision Song Contest, which was seen as a turning point for Britonisea at the WorldVision Song Contest. Doportedas had bid to host the competition but came third which was a big improvement from the first time the nation hosted, but there was still a long way to go before Britonisea sent a good enough bid to host WorldVision. During the competition, which was held in Yttribia, the nation came 5th place with 94 points - a huge jump in terms of placement and was the first time that the Britonish public got on board with the WorldVision Song Contest. Boschke had decided to bid for the rights to the 36th WorldVision Song Contest, but the nation fell back to last place as Boschke's bid came 7th. However, we will show you during Britonisea's 9th bid why Boschke is very capable and deserving of hosting this all-important edition for Britonisea.

Embarrassingly, Britonisea came 41st place at the 40th anniversary of the WorldVision Song Contest which called for boycotts of the contest. The broadcasters at the time, BVC, ignored calls to leave the contest and instead decided to throw Britonisea's hat in the ring for the fourth time; bidding to host Britonisea's 10th anniversary at the contest. The bid one against Bloodbath Generation, who holds the record for the most amount of bids sent to the WorldVision Song Contest, and for the first time, Britonisea was awarded the rights to host WorldVision in Quickenden. The nation had also won their first of five WorldVision Song Contest trophies here and which paved the way for Britonisea being considered as a serious competitor. Britonisea's win at the 47th WorldVision Song Contest - only six editions after - was thanks to its format Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2016 which still remains today; an impact WorldVision has had on this nation. Britonisea continued to progress in WorldVision, hosting more often, placing in podium positions more often and becoming a nation in the contest which many are proud of. For all Britons, it would be a fantastic celebration of Britonisea's journey if we were to host the competition here in Boschke - and it'd be a thank you to all of the nations that have supported Britonisea over the past 50 editions.

For the bid of the 81st WorldVision Song Contest, we have gone into detail about everything - even including the graphics! The bid begins here. You're going to find out what a Boschkian hosting of the WorldVision Song Contest would look like...

As previously mentioned, Boschke was one of the first cities within the ABEN Union to have put in a bid for the WorldVision Song Contest. Though due to the under-developed WorldVision Song Contest team at the time and perhaps aiming too high off the back of that 5th place the edition before, the Boschkian bid did not go down very well with the international community. With this bid, we think that Boschke will be a suitable candidate for the 81st WorldVision Song Contest. Behind the scenes, like all bids, there was a selection process where BITC went to cities that they thought would be good to host the WorldVision Song Contest and they had a few months to prepare a bid for the WorldVision Song Contest - if it were to be held in Britonisea. The city of Junterapten was in the race alongside Kyvivre and with the city being one of the areas where the music scene is vibrant, people thought that Junterapten should host. Junterapten has also hosted the World Hit Festival rather successfully. Also included in the race to bid to host WorldVision Song Contest was Eaux City who has not hosted the WorldVision Song Contest or the World Hit Festival but is considered a major city in the country. Other cities that were also in the race were Telm City, who hosted the last Britonish edition of WorldVision Song Contest 15 editions ago. Kyvivre, the city which recently hosted the WHF49, an edition of WHF in the past and WorldVision was also in the minds of the WorldVision Song Contest delegation too. Finally, Alshkan had also been highly considered due to it being a border city with Estogium, but due to Estogium and Britonisea placing in the top two at the WHF48, BVC had picked that city to host, crossing the city off the list of BITC for the WorldVision Song Contest. In the end, Boschke was chosen due to their bid, their theme and what they would offer to the 81st WorldVision Song Contest - the 50th anniversary to Britonisea at the WorldVision Song Contest. Below are the details of the bid that they showed to the Britonish WorldVision Song Contest delegation - the reason why they are now bidding to all of you.

The idea of working with segments was an idea that the Britonish delegation had wanted to work with, but never knew how to use it (it also took a bit of inspiration, cough cough Rotterdam 2020) but we have finally come up with an innovate way of making our logo more than just a logo but also a story too. The circle that make up the symbol of the WorldVision Song Contest is split into 50 different parts, with each part representing the number of editions since the debut of Britonisea at the WorldVision Song Contest. If you look closely on the actual logo of Boschkian Bid for the WorldVision Song Contest, you'd notice five very faint lines that don't really seem all that obtrusive. These five lines actually represent the point in which Britonisea won the WorldVision Song Contest with the graphics showing you what each lines mean. As you can see, the first line shows the first-ever victory by Britonisea at the 41st WorldVision Song Contest which was held in Quickenden in Britonisea. The next victory is at the 47th WorldVision Song Contest in Ekoz by Mini Surrey-North. It represents the first time that a Vha Mehlodhivestoile winning entry has won the WorldVision Song Contest. Our next win came a total of 16 editions after our last win, which for Britonisea represented a time in which faith in the WorldVision Song Contest hit an all-time low. Frida Grover won the WorldVision Song Contest 63 with her song in "Pyro" breaking the 16 edition dry spell. "Pyro" also became the first Britonish song to win the WorldVision Song Contest in what was a huge boost for national pride. Britonish also won in the successive edition too as Britonisea won the WorldVision Song Contest two editions in a row - the first time that had been seen since Ertzei Kishim at the 33rd and 34th WorldVision Song Contest. Taron Woods won with his song, "Cy Ecouto Teutuen Vokse" in what was the start of the 100+ points winning entries until this day. "Cy Ecouto Teutuen Vokse" became the second Vha Mehlodhivestoile winner to go onto win the WorldVision Song Contest. Finally, the last line represents Britonisea's final and most recent win at the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest by Alyxhia Willis who won with her Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2019 entry, "Want You Home". Alyxhia Willis won with a total of 132 points which remains to be Britonisea's second-best result to date. We are immensely proud of all of our wins and wanted to represent this in the bid that we have done.

Honestly, Boschke is waiting for you! The Boschkian Authority is the eighth largest Authority in Britonisea (There are 38 "Authorities" which are similar to counties or states without the legal bit) which is home to 2.3 million people in total. Within the Boschke City Limits, a total of 2.047 - as mentioned on the graphic above - live there which makes Boschke one of the largest cities in Britonisea. You might be thinking that Boschke is a very large city size-wise if most of the people that live within the Authority is living in its city, but in actual fact, the city is medium-sized - you can definitely travel around the city within a day but due to the multiple events that happen inside the bustling city of Boschke, it will take you much more than a day to fully enjoy the experience that Boschke has to offer. The 2.047 million hardworking people that live in the city try their best to make sure that their city looks beautiful, as you can see. Boschke is located in Nothern Britonisea, which on average has colder temperatures than the Southern parts of the country but the scenery is certainly to die for the more North you go on the mainland. In comparison to the last host of the WorldVision Song Contest in Britonisea, Telm City, you can see from the picture of Novapax that the two cities are rather close in proximity to one another. Boschke is very well connected to the country as its located on the Bay of Britonisea which is the main bay which is nearly enclosed by the shape of the country. Along the bay are the cities of Machievelihe, which hosted the 57th WorldVision Song Contest, and Eaux City - which is seen as another international hub. You can reach both cities by sea with Boschke's seaport but you can get to many Britonish destinations from Boschke, including Zelmerlow, Swithique or to the Ghiezland where you can visit Ghiez and Burgendore. If you get seasick - that's okay! You can also travel around Britonisea by train! There are train services that take you the full length of the country - so if you need to take a quick look at the Junterapten Lights - that's okay! Most importantly, and probably most crucial for you international fans are the airports in Boschke. Boschke Authority is served by two airports, Dewburry International and Roadshire International - which combined - receive over 4 million passengers a year going through its doors. So all in all, if there's any way that you'd like to get to the city, we've got you more than covered.

Hosting the WorldVision Song Contest is, by no means, an easy feat. The amount of equipment that goes into hosting a successful, Britonish WorldVision Song Contest will need an arena that is fit for purpose and we believe that The Newbury Park Arena is the arena for you. Located in the heart of our wonderful city, the Newbury Park Arena is highly accessible as it is linked to many different transport systems such as the Underground train system in Boschke, a bus station nearby and as you can see in the image, there is road access to the arena. The Newbury Park Arena has a grand capacity of 20,000 people who will ram-jam into the arena for what will be Britonisea's best hosting of the competition. To give you some facts and figures about The Newbury Park Arena, the arena is Boschke's only arena that first opened its doors in 2014 which means that it is a relatively new Arena. Before, in order for Boschkians and East Britons to watch a large concert, they would have to travel to Telm City for the Telm Arena or Estadoyn de Zelmerlow in Zelmerlow. The construction, which cost around £220,0000,000 BPS (or £340,000,000 GBP) took around three years to build, with it featuring a man-made river on the southside of the arena along with new shrubbery all around the arena, adding biodiversity to what was once a brownfield site. Underneath the bridge that goes into the arena and adjacent to the river is the train line showing the close proximity of connections to the arena. The area surrounding the arena is a town, wide and spacious compared to normal Britonish towns, to ensure that many people can easily live there during their duration at the WorldVision Song Contest.

Newbury is a town/neighbourhood in Boschke in which The Newbury Park Arena is located in the borough of Centralis. Centralis, in Boschke, is known as Borough #2 in Boschke (Hence the postcode BO2 - BO for Boschke), which gives a hint as to where in Boschke it is located - near the centre. The borough of Centralis is home to 119,390 people with 30% of them living in the Newbury Area. Newbury town centre, which is where the arena is located, is focused around the arena with there being hundreds of restaurants nearby from nationalities from all over the Multiverse providing supreme quality food. We all know that our Normandy's restaurant is a popular hit with tourists and we are definitely not in short supply of those in Newbury. If you fancy a bog-standard, nasty, juicy, kebab or burger and chips - we've got you covered! If you want something that won't burst leave you broke on your first day of coming, we've got you covered! If you want a family-friendly dining experience, we've got many places that will suit your needs. If you wanna be all bougie, we got you, girl! And finally, if you're living the self-catering lifestyle, there are many places in Boschke you can go to get food from home, and if you wanted to try cooking some Britonish cusine, feel free to pop to the Centralis Market which is a road which leads from the neighbourhood of Boschke into Centralis.

The Stage for the 81st WorldVision Song Contest will be absolutely spectacular. As you can see from seeing the stage in action and from the photos, we will be using an avant-garde stage compared to recent editions. To briefly speak about what you are seeing in the pictures and the videos. Around 1/3 way into the stage floor will be the main stage so that there are fans all around you. While some might wonder whether this omits opportunities with the LED screen, this is not the case. As seen in this example, each of the two LED screens on each side of upstage (near the back wall) are both big enough to fit many people in front of it. We can make it so that upstage (closer to the stands) is completely dark with the LED being the only thing visible - and of course those performing in front of it - if people would like a more conventional staging for their WorldVision Song Contest stage. You can still use the LED screen when using the main stage as well - even if you're further away from it, with proxemics we can still make it seem like you're right next to it.

We can confirm that we will be using LED screens (as opposed to LCD, plasma or projections) which is a theme we have had in our hostings. 870 square metres of LED screens and LED strips will be used with LED strips also being placed on top of artists to making it look as though the artist is immersed in their performance (to put this into perspective this is more than Vienna 2015, Stockholm 2016 and even Kyiv 2017). Also, 90 tonnes worth of steel will be used, with steel being recycled. Bits of the two Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2020 stage will go into building the WorldVision Song Contest stage to ensure that we wasting no materials. We would like for this to be a green WorldVision. being A crew of twenty is what it will take to build the stage. In addition to this, we will also have holographic and VR capabilities too to take an immersive experience right to the next level.

Our stage is huge. Something else that we will be available to all participating delegations of the WorldVision Song Contest is raised platforms if they wish to use it. Don't forget to think about the floor when you're designing your staging for your act! As you can see from the audience view, with the main stage, you can have your act rise into the air in spectacular style. We didn't want it to look ugly - of course not! Therefore, we decided to put an LED screen around the stage when it goes up so you could have it fit with the theme of the LEDs or whatever you want to do. You can even have it off if that suits you better. If you look at the Little Mix or Jason Derulo videos, you will be able to see that the upstage catwalks also can be "broken" up and lifted into the air. There are endless possibilities with the stage and we would love for you to use it! The floor will also LED too - great for aerial shots. As with any WorldVision stage, pyrotechnic and water effects are available.

We would also like to say that the WorldVision stage will have a back wall with glittery lights (shown more in the Jason Derulo video or during long shots of the stage and the arena). For those who want to create a picturesque, beautiful scene, we recommend you use the glittery lights as it creates a warm and intimate feel. We only provide the best for you all at the WorldVision Song Contest and we hope that you like the stage.

The 81st WorldVision Song Contest is expected to be the largest WorldVision Song Contest for quite some time in terms of participants and we would like to have a huge show.

This edition, if we host the 81st WorldVision Song Contest, we will be having three hosts in the show. Similarly to how it worked in Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2020, one of the hosts will be located in the Greenroom for the majority of the show whereas the other two hosts will be the main ones conducting the show, especially through the crucial voting stages. Two of the main hosts will be Ria Aristide and Jordan Hermes with Mateus Breton in the Greenroom, but he will still have a huge role discussed below;

Ria Aristide (Main Host) Some of you may know Ria Aristide from her participation in the 76th WorldVision Song Contest that was held in Achaean Republic. The 76th WorldVision Song Contest saw Ria Aristide finish in 10th place with the song, "Do. Not. Lie" featuring Mabel. In past editions of Britonish WorldVision Song Contests, previous participants or well-known WV/WHF acts have hosted (such as Mini Surrey North, Mehkl Maddox Ajax, Fede Callahan, Frida Grover) and we would like to keep up the tradition here. Ria Aristide recently performed her song, "You Blew It" at the 3rd Semi-Final of Vha Mehlodhivestoile where she revealed she would be hosting the upcoming edition of WorldVision, if the bid wins.

Jordan Hermes (Main Host) will be presenting the WorldVision Song Contest 81 alongside Ria Aristide in what will be Britonisea's second male-female duo hosting the contest. Jordan Hermes is a dancer who has been on television for a number of years and so he is immediately recognisable even if people aren't sure of his name. This will be Jordan's big break as a television presenter as he moves away from dancing, moving into a different avenue of the showbiz world. Jordan says that he cannot wait to host the competition and to get stuck in as host of the competition.

Mateus Breton (Pre-Party & Online Host) will be the host in the Greenroom. Fourteen nations will be participating in the upcoming Junterapten Pre-Party which is set to happen in a week or so from this bid. Mateus will be getting the juicy gossip from all of the participants, which will be filmed and used for intermissions during the WorldVision Song Contest. As you know, a Britonish hosting gives breaks during the performance offering watchers a chance for a break from the music to put the kettle on and grab a biscuit. Mateus will be providing the real tea from all participants here. Mateus will also be the online host during the competition too, he will take over the BTVB Twitter Page during the competition where he will post the postcard (which will be discussed in the next section) of each nation along with a quote/information from each of the participants.

The Opening Act will involve all three of the hosts as they open the show together. The show will most likely have a segment to open the show as we move from one location to the next of participating nations - but you will see this come to fruition if the bid is chosen. The Interval will include footage from the Pre-Party and a couple of performances, hopefully including the winning performance of the 80th WorldVision Song Contest. There will also be information regarding Britonisea's participation in the WorldVision Song Contest such as which nations have Britonisea voted for the most? Which nations have voted for our nations the most? And other statistics that will aid the enjoyment of the show.

Achaean Republic mixed with Britonisea!: A draft of the official design for the Postcards at the 81st WorldVision Song Contest

Here we have the main and second design to the postcards. I initially started doing the design in the folder and asked for some feedback from members of the community and they said that it was too dark and this would be something I would improve on. I decided, in the meantime, to create a second design. I understand that I am asking a lot from everyone in terms of involvement and so I thought that creating postcards without the picture would be easy. However, we can easily have a quick vote when I've decided the final design for both the postcard with or without the picture. As you can see, the postcard consists of the national colours of the participating nation, plus the name of their entrant, entry and the # edition this is for them using Nekoni's beautiful excel document.

These postcards will be uploaded and will be uploaded to twitter during the Listenalong. More regarding this is placed below....

To conclude, Britonisea and Boschke is ready to host the 81st WorldVision Song Contest, celebrating our 50th anniversary. With a budget of NSD of 16 million, we have the money to splash the cash on you all because you all deserve it! Cannot wait to see you in Boschke for the 81st WorldVision Song Contest!

Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoyed the bid from Britonisea! It was a real pleasure to write and I hope that it has encouraged you to vote for the Britonish bid! I would just like to give you all some OOC information, in addition, to hone down how I would like to host the WorldVision Song Contest.

I have a ton of experience hosting competitions like these; I have hosted the 41st, 51st, 57th and 66th WorldVision Song Contests as Britonisea and then I rushed a bid in for the 73rd WorldVision Song Contest as my puppet nation; Estogium. In the World Hit Festival which is arguably more RP-heavy in terms of hosting, I have hosted a total of six times and had the opportunity to host for the seventh time for the 51st edition but all focus was put onto this bid and hosting the 81st WorldVision Song Contest. In addition to this, I have hosted four editions of Vha Mehlodhivestoile, and finishing the 5th edition which you can probably tell from the link posted that I am able to churn out a lot of RP when committed and given the chance to. I am most definitely committed to hosting the 81st WorldVision Song Contest and have been preparing this bid back in 2019.

A fantastic job was done by the last of the competition, Nekoni and I thoroughly enjoyed his hosting. In recent editions of the WorldVision Song Contest, however, I've felt that both the run-up to and the actual editions have been rather lacklustre and boring. I am not sure whether that's because of the WHF or whether people are tired with the same format of the WorldVision Song Contest, but I am sure that's something that the new WorldVision Committee will address - REMEMBER TO VOTE IN THAT BY THE WAY!! For the upcoming edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, I am urging participants to be as involved as they can be in the edition and be open to being as ICly invested as possible. I understand we all have lives outside of NS but I think that this could be a real chance to #cometogether and celebrate the power of our community. I have my large NF + bid teases and the Junterapten Pre-Party which I think has helped drum up some interest in for the upcoming WorldVision Song Contest. I would like, if I host, to push that to the next level. The Junterapten Pre-Party will have questions asked that will form part of the intermissions during the show. For those who aren't part of the Pre-Party, don't feel afraid to ask me for a little interview as there's time to fit it in the IC proceedings.

Your. Participation. Matters! I would also like to start again the Parade of Nations. The Parade of Nations will be RPed - hopefully - to the same standard as the 57th WorldVision Song Contest but this time, I would really love to get a line or two from each of the participants in the competition. While it's by no means a requirement for participation, I'd like if all members could put a line or two in their background infromation/pre-entry RP about their participant's entrance onto the WorldVision Stage (something such as their internal thoughts, "He was stunned by the number of people in the arena/he wasn't so much of a fan of the nation, but he loved the WorldVision Song Contest..." and what they did when they walked on the stage. What they did when they were bathed in the colours of the national flag...etc). It'd be really great to have a page of all of our work that we could be proud of in future editions - who knows, it could become a tradition.

Postcards will be done! For the upcoming edition of the WorldVision Song Contest, I will hopefully be animating each of the postcards which will be the first time we will have animated postcards (that are completed in full). No one will see their postcard until the listenalong. Following the earlier IC information about Mateus Breton taking over the twitter account, during the listenalong, I will post everyone's postcard and a quote/information regarding their entry and that will be the "01 Britonisea" that we usually have in the listenalong. It will be a nice way to reveal everyone's postcards

Finally, I would love for nations to post another bit of RP, especially if they did not participate in the Junterapten Pre-Party or had any interviews. Why not provide information about betting odds and post it in the IC Thread? What about commentary!? - we haven't had a lot of those recently. What about the situation with COVID-19 and travelling to Britonisea? I would just like to see an all-inclusive edition of the competition...I am sure we all would.

In terms of deadlines, I would like to set the deadlines as flexible which means nations will have until I post in order to stop posting/voting. I will say, though, that I will most likely personally close deadlines at the usual time of 20:00 United Kingdom time but it depends how lenient I am feeling and whether I am fully available/ready to post on that time.

Hey, I'm Axuva, or Ax to some people. I've participated in worldvision for almost two years and so far I've been enjoying participating in Worldvision and being here, even tho there has been times where there have been certain issues I feel like It's time that I give in what I strive to have and have spoke out about and against, in this manifesto and stand for what I believe in, but through being a committee member. Here is what I stand for:

STAYING FAIR

Fairness is something that should be a standard everywhere, but sometimes things do not always click. If I end up getting elected to the committee, I will ensure that Worldvision is fair and remains fair for the time that I am on the committee, as far as punishments, and rules go. Also, I will make sure every person is represented and is being heard in worldvision. Not only that, I will be a transparent committee member and be as transparent and open with to the community. Not saying that the committee ISN'T transparent already, but it will stay as transparent as possible.

STAYING TIMELY

There have been times where there have been problems and complaints with the lack of updates coming from the Worldvision committee. And usually it was problems with keeping the thread updated. If I am elected to the committee, I will stay in touch with my colleagues in the committee and ensure that every source of information for Worldvision like discord, and NationStates OOC thread stays updated and has accurate information.


REVOLUTIONIZING WORLDVISION

I can ensure that I will interact with the community by reviewing the communities complaints if they have any, and try to take care of the issue. I will also review the peoples different suggestions for Worldvision itself and it’s resources (discord, etc.). If it is something that will be beneficial for the Worldvision community as a whole, I will support the movement and I will also be bringing ideas to the committee for changes whenever I come up with ideas to bring forward change. I will do anything that is in favor of changing Worldvision for the better.

Hello all, I'm Tobu. Most of you know who I am, but for those who don't, I've been participating in WorldVision since WV27, hosted twice, and have been on and off the Committee for a number of terms since starting in the WV40s. Since returning to the Committee in the last election, I've played an active role in introducing the new strike system & rules database, along with conflict resolution and communicating with hosts, but there are definitely things to improve on. Currently there are a few things that I hope to accomplish:

• Keeping the OP updated- due to our constant activity on the Discord, I realize that the OOC OP is being neglected and so I am committing to more actively updating it.
  
• Simplifying the format that the rules are listed in: with the new strike system, we haven't gotten around to removing the old rules and consequences and will need to update that, as it must be a bit confusing for a new person entering the contest currently.
  
• On a similar note, rewriting the rules into an FAQ style format has been on my mind for a while now, and with quarantine time, the coming months are a good opportunity to get that done.
  
• Collating Committee decisions, and publicly posting them. Since I did it last more than a year ago, I'm quite sure no one has presented a list of all committee rules/legislative decisions in the last cycle, so I'd like to get that done as well.

With the experience gained from a number of Committee terms over the years, I hope to help continue to ease in new WVC members to the norms and responsibilities of the Committee, and keep WorldVision a place where people would like to continue participating in. I'm open to both concerns and new ideas, and will continue to actively work to keep the Committee both approachable and fun(ctional)!

Tonight, 9 songs and 9 artists competed for the right to represent Izmedu in the 81st WorldVision Song Contest. This edition saw the largest ever international response to the national final, with 12 international jurors volunteering to help decide our winner. Suitably, this Izmepisma was one of the hardest fought national finals in its history. After a tense jury and televoting sequence, we are proud to reveal that the winner is...

Jana Jusic - All They Ever Said Was Sorry

Winning with a hard-fought 144 points (67 jury + 77 televote), she wins in one of the most competitive and closest Izmepismas to date. She would win having encountered a three-way tie with two other front-runners, Jasna Potocki's "Vikati!" and Ivana Puljic's "Fighting Back." The tiebreaker was determined by consulting the raw televoting data, and it was revealed that she had ultimately won the televote with 113,000 votes (representing 15% of the televote), winning over her nearest competitors by just 1,000 votes. This close televote was bolstered with an impressive performance with the jury votes. Jana's path to Izmepisma victory was secured with 9 out of 12 jurors voting for her. Of those 9 jurors, five of them would place Jana's song in their top 2, and Jana would ultimately receive three sets of 12 points. With these results at hand, Jana Jusic accepts the right to represent Izmedu in the 81st WorldVision Song Contest.

The runner-up, Jasna Potocki, has stated that she will not be going forth to the World Hit Festival. The rights to represent Izmedu in a future edition of the World Hit Festival now fall to Ivana Puljic, who stated that she will consult with her team to reach a decision in the coming days. Both thank the international jurors and the Izmeduan public for supporting their songs.

We thank each and every international jury that voted in Izmepisma. This would not have been possible without your participation.

Manifesto - Ertzei Kishim

Shalom, Marhaba, I am Kish (Ertzei Kishim, sometimes Kishrael) and this is my manifesto for re-election to the WorldVision Committee. I have been an active participant since WorldVision 20, serving on the committee from WorldVision 26-35 (?? lol idek), and this last 5 editions also. I am proud of what we have achieved as a committee, namely:

• The introduction of a fairer voting system which many of us played an important role in shaping.
• Giving the community more say, for example the referendum of the extension of the rest period during WV77.
• Responding in a timely fashion to a number of complaints and suggestions.

However I would be wrong in saying the job is done. While being on the committee has allowed me to affect positive change in a more senior role, it's also true that being inside the committee one understands some of the problems that it faces in its organisation and execution of policy, liasing with the community and managing the contest. Thus, the following points are my platform, which I hope to drive the agenda with if I am to be re-elected onto the committee:

• Reduction in the size of the committee: Having been on the committee, I now understand that bureaucracy can slow down decision making. When people are inactive for extended periods of time, it is difficult to get quick answers to difficult decisions. I would reduce the size of the committee to 3 members, thereby needing a majority of 2 for decisions, rather than having to wait extended periods of time to hear back from people. This also increase accountability and ensures everybody pulls their weight.
• Tackling low-effort: I believe there should be a mechanism for people to report suspected low-entry posts to the committee for review. We have seen more recently an influx in poorly executed entries which are neither funny nor intelligent. These nations are then able to distribute points which has a large impact on the results, in my opinion, unfairly so.
• Let's experiment!: The WorldVision format has remained the same for every single edition - I am of the opinion that we should switch up the format. Why not semi-finals? Why not have private voting with the host revealing the votes? Why not have special editions running alongside the regular contest. I think these ideas should also be pitched by the community, let's encourage ideas and discussion and innovate together.

FUN FOR EVERYONE

Hi. I’m Mister X. I’ve been around a very long time here. And whilst things are becoming very difficult in the outside world I feel like that means we need distractions as much as anything else. And there’s sometimes a danger of taking WorldVision too seriously. It’s just a bit of fun after all. But that needs certain things that we have to do.

I’ve participated in every edition since WorldVision 29. I served on the committee between WorldVision 35 and WorldVision 58, and now since WorldVision 76. Whilst I feel like there’s a lot of stuff to do, I feel as though we are trying to execute these visions we all lay out.

I’m not going to stand here and make a list of promises that can’t, and won’t, be fulfilled. We need to do stuff that most of us agree on. For that reason I will always vote against measures to reduce the size of the committee. The reason we expanded this in the late 30s was because of inactive committee users: one person cannot have all that power, which was the case in the past.

It’s not my way or the highway, we’ve always been open to suggestions and proposals and I will always listen to what people want (although you may have to ping me).

So say I’m your number one. Vote for Mister X over the next 7 days. Please.

Titan Worldvision representative, Chloe Svensson has announced the worldwide dates for her concert tour, Gone on Tour. The tour will feature R&B acts Hail the Sisters and Benji Moon. KBS yesterday announced their intention to return to the eighty-first WorldVision Song Contest with a song internally selected.

Fallin', to be sung by singer-songwriter Chris Williamson, is a classic spy movie theme with a gender flip, which Williamson hopes will reverberate well with the international public.

KBS will debut the song in full on Friday's Chart Show Live programme at 8pm.
