Hello everyone, just to let you know, the host and I have agreed that there will be an extension on the deadline for when entries are due in. The new deadline is Saturday 4th April 2020 at 11PM GMT/PM EST.

Sign ups will REOPEN until the closing of the Draft Thread at that time.

JURY VOTING
The Junior World Hit Festival Jury Voting will work in the same way it currently works in the World Hit Festival, with all nations sending their top 5 entries to the host. Please read the host's information carefully. They will then collate all of the points together and get them ready to reveal. All nations are expected to vote. As this is a lot of work for the host, we would recommend you vote as soon as possible, with the prime time to vote being after the Listen-Along (straight after) on Thursday at 10pm BST.

As soon as you have voted Jury voted, the host will then allow you to vote using the link above - the Televoting Portal. If you vote early for the Jury votes, you will have a longer time to vote in the Televote. We have allowed ONE WEEK to do this, down from two weeks last edition.

Once the deadline has reached, you can no longer vote. NATIONS CANNOT VOTE IN THE TELEVOTING UNLESS THEY HAVE VOTED IN THE JURY VOTES! Achaean Republic will tell you when your Jury Votes have been accepted and when you can move onto the Televote.

Also, you are allowed to only provide the top 5 for Jury information; you will not need a full ranking.

You will be taken through to three different pages after you have finished reading this passage. Each of those three pages will be asking something from you specifically. This should take 3-5 minutes. I would like to remind you that you are voting based on the nation, regardless of whether they are a puppet or main nation.

Below, you will be able to see what each of the three pages will ask from you.

Page 1: National Information:
Here, you must put in the name of your nation. It must be the full nation's name as it appears at the 7th Junior World Hit Festival. It is highly imperative that you do not accidentally misspell your nation's name or shorten it. We would also like for you to include your national broadcaster's name to make it easier for us to identify you.

Page 2: Televoting Page 1 (Voted for Nations):
This page will ask for two of the four nations you will vote for at the 7th Junior World Hit Festival. As you can see from the title of this page, the two nations that you decide to pick here will be from the five that you already voted for in the Jury Vote. For example, if you voted for nations #GBR #DEU #FRA #ESP and #POR in the Jury vote, you can pick two of those nations in this section. You cannot vote for #RUS because you did not vote for them in the Jury vote. Specific information will follow on the second page.

Page 3: Televoting Page 2 (Other Nations):
This page will ask for the other two nations that you will vote for at the 7th Junior World Hit Festival. As you can assume, the two nations that you can pick here will be from the nations that you have not yet voted for. For example, if you indeed did vote for #GBR #DEU #FRA #ESP and #POR, you can vote for #RUS because you did not vote for them in the Jury vote. Specific information will follow on the third page.

Un favor especial/A Very Special Favor

For one very special interval act, I would appreciate if all participating nations––as well as non-participating spectators as well––compose a short letter to a child’s hero of theirs that is leading the fight against COVID-19 in their respective nations. It can be parents, teachers, restaurant workers, doctors, nurses, priests…But please make sure to compose this short letter in the country’s national language(s). You can send all of this to me via telegram to Achaean Republic or by Discord DM to je-repac#4995.

One final thing: the Official Listenalong for the 7th Junior World Hit Festival will take place this Thursday, April 9 at 5:00PM EST/10:00PM GMT at the #greatest-hits channel of the NS Worldvision & WHF Discord server. We hope to see you there!
