About the School

St. Peadrus MacCallion High School, mostly recognized as St. Peadrus, is a private secondary educational institution situated in Grangemouth in the Dalmashiel Region. It was founded in 1842 by Dominican friars Sìoltach McNiel, Wallace Duncan, and Alasdair Bardon. Named after the 17th Century Roman Catholic Folaisian saint who was of the friars' order, interacted with the native populations, established monasteries and the first educational institution in the New World, and performed hundreds of conversions, the school was established with the purpose of giving youth the means of a Catholic education in a Dominican fashion and by following the saint's example. At first, it was established for males of European origin, but overtime, it gradually accepted females and students of non-European origin. Moreover, as religious standards became increasingly lax, the school accepted those of non-Catholic faith. Furthermore, because of it. Momiji is an orphan girl abandoned at birth and for her early life was raised by the Priestesses in her local village orphanage until she was taken in by her "older sister" Yuri when she was 7 years old whom she's resided with to today. Momiji is very bright, some regard her as a genius even, but really her abilities are average for most students in the developed world, Momiji just "knows a lot of stuff" from reading books and listening to travelers and sailors that stop in the little pub she works with her sister at. But that said she's know to perform highly well as a student compared to most students in her village which is why her teacher has put her in to study abroad for a small time to really help her reach her full potential.

Verity Nicholas is boisterous, intelligent young woman born to a notable a politically notable family. as a young girl her primary passion was in sports, but due to testing for an an exceptional aptitudes that have correlate with success with international affairs, she earned a spot in the "Tidewater Preparatory School for International Affairs" one of the top international affairs preparatory schools in the nation. She's also very much "ruthlessly cosmopolitan" in that she's tolerant and used to being around people of various ethnicities and orientations, but subconsciously condescends to more "provincial" people.

Roleplay Sample: I don't have anything elsewhere so I just wrote something relevant:

"Folaisia is with physical currency." Verity happened to remember as she looked at herself in her bedroom mirror, trying on what would be her school uniform for the next few months. "

the UCSR had long moved off physical currency, in it's effort the remove the marks of capitalism from it's economy bit by bit. So the idea of coins jangling in one's pockets, or wallet that carried slips of paper, was entirely foreign to her. She was by no means unfamiliar with the concept money, however. Though the Buyers Unions took up an increasing share of consumption, (consumers would pay dues to a buyers union, which would provide them with access to goods and services at no upfront cost, the dues usually cheaper than individual purchases) she'd more than once been to several restaurants before and even used her minor's stipend to purchase clothing in person. Most of the things her family purchased however, as was the case with more or less any family in the UCSR, were purchased online rather than in person. In an effort to cut down pollution, increases in housing stock and lower costs, most cities had largely done away with brick and mortar retail in favor of home delivery. Clothing, however was usually an exception to this rule, though unsurprisingly, this couldn't be the case with St. Peadrus MacCallion uniform she was trying on at the moment.

Wearing a school uniform would be a new experience for her, among the countless she'd expect to experience. For one, unlike her own country, the Folaisia is capitalist country. By no means did this mean she would be going into an environment with goods and services beyond what she was used to (the USCR's whole economic system prided it's self on it's flexibility producing consumer goods) but it mean't that she'd inevitability be meeting in person with people acting holding and shaped by ideas of fairness and justice that were very much different than what she was used to. Indeed experiencing that was part of the purpose of her school's exchange program.

Verity adjusted the bowtie on her collar. She'd never worn a bowtie before, though she didn't mind it all that much, nore the uniform as a whole. Her mirror being a smart mirror, she gestured for it to take picture soon, Verity posed and the smartmirror sent the picture to her cellphone. She then proceeded to post the picture to her social media, tagging it #ExchangeDay. She wasn't the only one that would be participating in a student exchange to another country, all 3rd year Students of Tidewater Preparatory School for International Affairs were required to do so and today was, in fact, Exchange Day. Her bags were already packed and her mother (an editor that worked from home) and father (a director at a leading planning firm) had both taken the day off to see their daughter off to Folaisia...

Hope that's good enough for now.

Extra Information:

She's 5'11, has an athletic frame, favorite sports include rugby, kickboxing and judo.

She has a light Virginian accent that she suppresses that becomes stronger the more emotional she gets.

School of Origin: Stanstir Commons Academy

Background:
Athelhart is a young lad with a strong and unyielding heart, in love with his land and his people he still has a streak of unruliness that places frustration on his parents. His parents are well respected members of the community and church in the town of Stanstir, embodying the tradesman virtues of skill, piety, discipline, and education preferring the lodges over the taverns. Athelhart on the other hand has taken to the tavern culture, setting a poor example for his younger siblings as the eldest child in the family, preferring brawling, poetry, music, merriment, and sports over his family's wishes, though the saving grace is his respect for the faith and the traditions. From a young age he has served as a servant in the town chantry, helping in the maintaining of the building and graves, aiding the priest in liturgies for the dead, and teaching Latin to the younger children of the town. Always as a young child Athelhart was bright, never really having to apply himself as the learning just came natural to him, allowing him to read through books multiple grade levels ahead of him. Not a dunce by any means he actually received high grades for the most part all around, being able to read Latin and Greek texts alongside his Camelonean Gaelic, and even a grade above in mathematics. With these accomplishments Lord Kin-Wulfbert has allowed Athelhart to browse his House's personal library and tutor his young children. Recently though he has gotten involved with a rough crowd of hoodlums who frequent the taverns and has been absorbed by them to the detriment of his other responsibilities, along with the accompanying scandal. His grades have been slipping as well with his mind on the late night tavern concerts, brawls, and celebrations so his parents have decided, with the aid of Lord Kin-Wulfbert, to send young Athelhart away to a foreign school to see if his behavior will change when he is away from his 'friends'. As a person Athelhart has many typical Camelonean traits blunt to a fault, stubborn, thick skinned, indifferent to technology, hospitable, actions before words, and silently kind alongside that he is also mirthfully calculating, energetic, and is full of passion for history, music, and art.

He withholds many of his opinions until he has formulated a well thought argument in defense of his viewpoint; which adheres to the Arda Tuluvan tradition of logic and rhetoric.

While he follows protocol and all its nuances, he does enjoy Nindelos' vibrant nightlife. Often singing in karaoke bars or dancing in clubs with his friends until the early hours of morning. Belonging to the Vahtelari caste he is not prohibited by custom to display emotions like the higher castes, however, he does try to emulate such conventions while in public; a practice done by many in Arda Tuluva's political spectrum as advised by his mother. While he does feel a great deal, this attitude can come across to many non-Arda Tuluvans as haughty, austere, and dispassionate.

Basic stuff is done, however, I need a little more background from the character and I need you to state the current grade he's in (i.e., freshman/first-year, sophomore/second-year, etc.)

Name: Ehtelë Arvanion Niellúnë (Ehtelë Haryos i Vahtelari Arvanion carte Niellúnë Tano Nindelos)
Nation of Origin: Arda Tuluva
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Religion/Faith: Tiëism
School of Origin: Olofantur Academy, Nindelos, Arda Tuluva
Current Year: Year 12
Background:
Ehtelë Niellúnë was born and raised in Nindelos, Arda Tuluva's largest city, to a well respected Vahtelari family. His mother is head of the Grand Secretariat's Urban Development and Planning Commission of Nindelos, while his father is the Creative Director of the Nindelos Imperial Ballet. His mother raised him to respect and adhere to Arda Tuluva's strict social conventions, traditions, rituals and protocols; while his father influenced Ehtelë's love for culture; both its modern facets as well as the nation's long and ancient customs.

Ehtelë is an intelligent young man having earned high marks throughout his schooling having particular fondness for mathematics, history, and literature. Aside from his academics Ehtelë is quite athletic excelling in Rohë (a rugby like sport native to his region), football (soccer), track and field, and the Arda Tuluvan martial form known as Rimbë'vantala. He has proficient skill with the nandellë, a lute like Arda Tuluvan instrument. He, like many Arda Tuluvans, is reserved, contemplative, and polite.

Health Issue(s): None.
Roleplay Sample: Example I, Example II

He’s in 12th grade so guess he’s a senior.
(Don’t know that much about American grades)

In the UK his year is called year 12 or “lower sixth” traditionally.

His mother is a policewoman(ranked Inspector) from a peasant family(which was something as a scandal in the press),
His paternal grandfather died in military service ( he was an Air Cavalry Officer and pilot in command of a squadron) when his father was 12.

His father attended the same private school as he did then successfully applied for a commission in the Army though he wants his son to go to university first, doing so after graduation.

He wishes to bring one servant with him (his page) though his family have 5.

He got good grades at his school and was a high-rank in the schools officer training corps.
He was also elected President in his schools Student Shura election.
He is single but wishes to find a future wife in a foreign land.

His hobbies include horse-riding, fencing, shooting, Turkish oil wrestling, polo, chess, poetry, political debate(he was in his school’s debating society) and flirting with girls.

He wants to be an officer in the Army though he is unsure about whether to be a chaplain or combat officer.

Wow I'm thick! I should have known 'current year' is year/grade enrolled not present year! I assume I'd be a freshman as she's 14. I see her as being 13 going on 14 starting into the school year.

Very well, then. You're accepted.

Alright. Since we have five applicants, it's time to start the voting process. For first period, which class do you want?

Also, another question: for seventh period, do you want an individual choice of class, or do you want to have a class shared by all? Figured it's the last period on the Friday schedule, and that the last class should be the most exciting for all students.

My vote

Name: Sir Otto II, of the House of Knight A-C-1
Nation of Origin: Chess Empire
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Religion/Faith: Syriac Orthodox Church(Jacobite Church)
School of Origin: Saint Barbara School for Artillery and Ordinance at the Imperial Armory.
Current Year: Year 9-Spring Term
Background:
The House of Knight A-C-1 is one of the earliest Houses whose origins have not been shrouded in legend or myth. Even then, however, there are many missing links, due to records having decayed with time.
What is known, however, is that they originated with a small diplomatic expedition sent by Jabalah III ibn al-Nu‘man of the Ghassanid Kingdom, around 420, to the Empire's predecessor, the nascent Kingdom of Lignea. A small group stayed behind- 3 men, two of whom were married and had brought along their wives.
This small group had almost completely assimilated, and probably would have faded into the greater population, had not more of their relatives arrived in the 7th century, due to the fall of the Ghassanid Kingdom to invading Muslims around that time. The 5 "Persians", as they were known, soon swelled to around 50, and later to 100, eventually establishing itself as one of the major Knightly Houses, with Royal Immediacy being granted around 800 AD. Several of the Kingdom's major military reformers and generals came from the House Knight A-C-1, including the cavalry commander Basiliscus I, the Legatus(Governor-General) and cunning tactician Demetrios IV, and, more recently, the tank commander Albert Sigismund.

The current head of the family is Otto's father, Matthias. He has one older sister, Otulissa, who is currently undergoing military training in preparation for the formation of a potential volunteer force to assist the Syrian Arab Republic.

He was born on February 14th, 2006, at Cymore General Hospital. He attended St. Adelheid Academy(a general K-12 educational facility), but was later expelled in grade 6 in spite of his good grades for constant brawling, after which he was sent to Saint Barbara School for Artillery, where he seems to have straightened out.

Health Issue(s): Mild sight impairment.
