The Melting Pot of the Divisive States
The United Regional Congress is the major legislative body within the Divisive States of Quah. With representatives from every present country, the URC strives to create the fairest regional environment possible. Laws, Regulations, and Large-Impact decisions are made through voting with the URC. The URC also has a number of side committees dealing with particular issues, such as the Regional Security Council or Ruling Council.
Currently, the congress resides in Albrecht Hall in Charleston, East Ares

Ruling Council
The ruling council is composed of congresspeople from officer states within the Divisive States of Quah. Currently, only Ynnad, Sumpra, East Ares, and South Ares reside upon the council. Major intra-region decisions must run through the council, including potential laws or regulations being implemented. If a vote from the full congress ends in a stalemate, a closed-door vote between Ruling Council member states will take place, as a tie-breaker. Other stipulations, including Officer elections and Officer removals, must be majority voted within the Ruling Council before being voted upon on the full floor. The Ruling Council is also in charge of day-to-day activities necessary to running/managing the United Regional Congress. Regional Security Council
The Regional Security Council is in charge of all military and defense objectives on an intra-regional scale. These include Operation Easter Pottery, where a team of operatives sent by the R.S.C. inflitrated a terrorist-held island state and assasinated its leader. The R.S.C. operates mainly through covert operations or the coordination of third-party forces. During times of war and/or regional distress, the Regional Security Council can assume full-power if necessary for the safety of the region and its member-states. Council of Commerce and Economics
The Council of Commerce and Economics is responsible for intra-regional taxation, funding military operations or aid projects, and regulating trade within the Divisive States of Quah. Other Regional commitees must attain funding through the CCE, such as for proposed military expansion or regional transportation hubs. Major trade hubs and ports within the Divisive States of Quah are also regulated by the CCE, to ensure member states maintain integrity.
