Exit Polls Declare That Citizens Of Daredland And West Zilveren Berg Have Approved Of Joining Sunrisia

In an outcome that could not be called too surprising, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg has surpassed the pro-union enthusiasm and the pro-Sunrisian sentiment of other Association of Sovereign Nations (ASN) member states by having 69% of its' voters say "yes" in a referendum on joining Sunrisia or a possible Corentian or Corento-Baggnagian transoceanic and transcontinental union. With this outcome, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg now undergoes an evolution, as it will grow from being a union of just 2 countries into becoming part of a much larger and more powerful union that might become a superstate. With the citizen verdict having been given, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg likewise will now be joining the negotiations' process of forming this new union or just directly joining Sunrisia and as an autonomous entity, but additionally with an aim to preserve its' own autonomous formations that already today exist within Daredland and West Zilveren Berg.

The Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia has welcomed the heads of state and heads of government of Baggnagia, Creperia, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg, Edereon and Vesvai. The foreign guests have arrived to sign accession protocols with Sunrisia to become special autonomous regions of our country after all these countries had held referendums, where their populations in their majority have spoken in favor of either forming a new union or joining the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia. The foreign leaders that have arrived are - President Vadd Racōsi of Creperia, Prime Minister Simonne Partēna of Creperia, Prime Minister Osa Repẽna of Edereon, President Stanislav Smoler of Baggnagia, Prime Minister Gara Incore of Vesvai and officials of Daredland and West Zilveren Berg. The accession protocols are to be signed by these leaders and by President Cálêr Étîsápîn. Another state/independent territory preparing for a similar referendum like in these countries, is Herbora. Meanwhile, Sunrisia itself is preparing for a constitutional referendum on amendments/changes that could make the Sunrisian constitution more in line with accepting such autonomous territories and will also question whether the country should retain the ideologies of Neo-Isolationism and Self-Reliance as officially embedded in the constitution or whether to go in a more moderate direction of a conventional democracy without state ideologies in the constitution, which was a measure suggested by the reformist Étîsápîn administration. In the meantime, after the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia ratifies the signed accession protocols, the Convet will grant Baggnagia, Creperia, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg, Edereon and Vesvai the status of the Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia, which is a specially created status for these new autonomies before the constitution is more appropriately amended to incorporate them into the state structure and the state itself is reformed to suite the incorporation of these new autonomies.

Herborans Vote In A Referendum On Joining Sunrisia

People of the independent territory of Herbora are voting in their first democratic plebiscite pretty much the first time in the entire history of Herbora's existence because there never was democratic authority over the territory until recently. After the deposing of Union rule and independence of Herbora from the Union the democratic authority declared a course and a trajectory towards Corentian integration and an alliance specifically with Sunrisia. All member states of MDAA, SOWEFTA and the Association of Sovereign Nations (ASN) have recently held referendums on joining Sunrisia and have recently signed accession protocols with Sunrisia in Sunrisian capital Orentan to become Special Adminisatrive Regions (SAR) of Sunrisia. Herbora has declared a course in the same direction and the Democratic Assembly administering the territory has since announced an identical referendum in Herbora on joining Sunrisia or a hypothetical Corentian union. Today Herbora is holding that referendum as the populace of the independent territory is heading to the polls to make that decision.

Sunrisians Vote In A Constitutional Referendum

In parallel to today's historic grand signing of accession protocols in Orentan, polls have opened and Sunrisians have headed out traditionally in larger inter-connected groups to cast their votes in the constitutional referendum. Today's vote will be held on the question of whether the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia should make constitutional amendments that would formally allow the reforming of the Sunrisian state to be better suited to incorporate its' new autonomous territories, as well as to possibly remove the state ideologies of Neo-Isolationism and Self-Reliance from the constitution, in order to not have the country be based on specific state ideologies, which according to reformist political forces in the country limit Sunrisian democracy and its' freedom to head in any ideological direction or political leaning with no preconditions, solely based on which political forces citizens end up bring to power through elections. Opinion polls prior to the referendum have suggested that Sunrisians are very polarized on this question, therefore, it is difficult to say what referendum result could be expected.

Exit Polls: Herborans Approve Of Joining Sunrisia

Herborans have given their verdict. According to exit polls 51% voters have said "yes" to joining Sunrisia and becoming a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Sunrisia just like members of the Association of Sovereign Nations (ASN) after having held their referendums and having signed accession protocols with Sunrisia. Now Herbora would likewise seek to sign the accession protocols to become a SAR of Sunrisia and it would make Herbora special in a sense that it would be the only state that would be directly becoming a SAR of Sunrisia without having earlier sought to join ASN first.

In A Polarizing Referendum, 50,10% Of Voters Support Constitutional Changes: Convet Set To Vote On Adopting The Constitutional Changes

The results of the constitutional referendum have officially been announced and just like suggested by the pre-referendum opinion polls, the outcome is very polarizing, with the winning side just barely overshadowing the loosing one, not even by a full whole number. 50,10% have voted for adopting changes and amendments to the current constitution with the reforming of the state to better suite the incorporation of autonomous entities and to remove Neo-Isolationism and Self-Reliance from the current constitution as official state ideologies, instead opting to have Sunrisia be a country, which is a moderate democracy with no state ideology or ideologies. In the meantime, 49.9% have voted against constitutional changes and amendments, favoring to preserve the status quo and to retain the constitution as it has been since its original adoption and declaration of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia. With the passing of the referendum in favor of change, the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia will now be required to adopt the changes to the constitution, although the current constitution itself would be retained as a whole. Speaker of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Léma Tempéstĕr, who is a reformist and supported the constitutional changes, said that these amendments to the constitution, including the reshaping of the state structure to include new autonomous entities that Sunrisia has not had before and the removal of the nationalist hardliner state ideologies of Neo-Isolationism and Self-Reliance while deciding not to have any state ideologies at all, would transform Sunrisia from the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia into the Union of Sunrisia.

Democratic Assembly Officials Visit Sunrisia To Sign Accession Protocols On Joining Sunrisia

Officials of the Democratic Assembly of Herbora have come to Orentan, Sunrisia to sign accession protocols after having held a referendum on joining Sunrisia. Those are the same kind of accession protocols as were signed by Baggnagia, Creperia, Daredland and West Zilveren Berg, Edereon and Vesvai which made them become the Special Administrative Regions (SAR) of Sunrisia. The officials of the Democratic Assembly joined Sunrisian President Cálêr Étîsápîn and members of the Sunrisian presidential administration in signing the accession protocols. Without having joined the Association of Sovereign Nations (ASN) earlier Herbora has signed the accession protocols to make it the Special Administrative Region (SAR) of Sunrisia and directly go towards the decisive chapter of the integration process that Herbora has been seeking since breaking away from the Union.

Sunrisia Unilaterally Lifts All Sanctions Against Other Countries, But Not Individuals, And Begins Removing Ballistic Missile Defense Systems Aimed Against Other Countries

President Cálêr Étîsápîn has welcomed the officials of the Democratic Assembly of Herbora in Orentan in order to sign the accession protocols that would make Herbora a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the Union of Sunrisia. In the meantime, in another major foreign policy development, Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of the Union of Sunrisia Evî Rémīso has come out to announce that the Union of Sunrisia would be unilaterally lifting all sanctions and embargoes it has imposed on other countries, but not against individuals, as well as begin the removal of ballistic missile defense systems it has stationed abroad in order to counter foreign nuclear attacks. Those ballistic missile defense systems were stationed in the Creperia Special Administrative Region (CSAR) and the Vesvai Special Administrative Region (VSAR), which are both located in the northern and north-eastern direction with those systems postured to jointly form a nuclear shield against nuclear attacks from the direction of the Dogmanan bloc. Emissary Evî Rémīso said these 2 steps were made because of the evaluation that there were no immediate security threats to Sunrisia or its' allies coming at the moment and also described it as a gesture of good will that might signal a coming of a new, calmer and more peaceful era and geopolitical order in comparison to what the world has been like in recent history. In early reactions, reformist forces are embracing these changes, while hardliner forces, which have not been happy with the recent constitutional changes, are criticizing them, citing unilateral appeasement of adversaries and undermining of Sunrisian and allied security with such moves, while mistakenly relieving sanction/embargo pressure from countries that repress democracy within their own borders and commit acts of aggression against other countries and other parts of the world in general.

Vice President Elét Cáldârí Visits The Herbora Special Administrative Region, Offering A Future Political Status Referendum

Vice President Elét Cáldârí has travelled to the Herbora Special Administrative Region of the Union of Sunrisia, also known by the abbreviations of Herbora SAR or HSAR, in order to meet with the officials of the local regional government, the region's municipal authorities and with the local population. Originally, President Vér Rîmóra was supposed to make this trip, but was substituted by the Vice President, because the head of state is currently in Dronden, Smoya, at an international dinner event of leaders and representatives from various countries. The President personally said that there was supposed to be a big announcement made during this visit in relation to a big decision that was being debated in the presidential administration for a while, but since the President is unable to make that trip and give that announcement, the Vice President would do it instead.

During a conference with the participation of the local regional government and a crowd of locals of the Herbora SAR, Vice President Elét Cáldârí has announced that the Cáldârí administration wants to offer the local regional government and the local residents of Herbora SAR to hold a political status referendum that would determine where Herbora wants to see itself in the future, seeing to how there are appropriate historical questions about the legitimacy of how Herbora initially became part of what became the Union of Sunrisia that exists today:

"It is no secret to anyone across the Union of Sunrisia that the topic of how this land that we are in today became part of what today is the Union of Sunrisia. We are not going to go into details or throw blame at any of our past leaders, but I think everyone present here or even seeing and hearing us over broadcast know the history of this region. Therefore, we need to address the so-called "elephant in the room" and insist that all citizens of this country do not want to live in a state of moral ambiguity. Therefore, the President wanted me to put forth a proposal on behalf of our administration for the Herbora Special Administrative Region to hold a status referendum at a time chosen by the people of Herbora, which will determine what should be the future and further life of this region - do you want to stay in the Union of Sunrisia in your current SAR status or do you want to declare independence? Because Sunrisia has no moral right to wish to keep control over people, which we are not sure initially wanted to join us. We can begin such a discussion and I am willing to engage in this discussion here today as the first step in advancing this conversation further. In our opinion, such a vote needs to take place, but the final word belongs to all of you."
