Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection of the Daredi Confederation Carlos Neumann has arrived in West Zilveren Berg. This is one of rare foreign visits for the Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection. Neumann is visiting West Zilveren Berg shortly after the nation held its referendum on the non-bloc status. The majority voted to remove the non-bloc status but it created a political crisis in West Zilveren Berg. The local opposition is leading protests against the referendum results while NGOs are leading demonstrations to demonstrate support for the referendum results. BREAKING: Sunrisia Attacks And Sinks A Union Warship

The Armed Forces of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora are reporting another incident around the Island of Vesvai. The Sunrisians are once again attacking. A Sunrisian jet has launched a missile and struck a warship of the Union Navy. The crew on board was saved with the help of a miracle as ships were sent to evacuate them to the shore with many injuries in place. A counter-attack was launched against the Sunrisian jet but the missiles missed and the hostile aircraft sped away quickly after its own aggression against the Union ship. The Ministry of Defense of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora denounced the Sunrisian aggression and described how dangerous it was for it to occur so soon after the previous incident with the Sunrisian warship shooting down a Union aircraft. The current incident was compared to the previous one and said that the roles were reversed this time while the Sunrisians still remained the aggressor that launched the attack and got away without a scratch. Minister of Defense of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Varsi Polvandet said that Sunrisia was balancing on the edge of being declared a terrorist state. The Minister said Sunrisian actions make it seem like that nation is looking for a reason to start another war. The Minister also said that the military told him about the attack having occurred near the Island of Vesvai again like the previous incidents and that the attack was unprovoked because the Union Navy kept its ships in the territorial waters of Herbora's part of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora at the time of the attack. DEVELOPING: Vesvai Accuses Union Of Another Provocation That Ultimately Led To An Attack On Its Warship

Vesvai's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has given an urgent reaction to another incident around the Island of Vesvai which has this time involved a destruction of a warship of the Union Navy by a Sunrisian fighter jet. The Union has once again accused the Sunrisians of the aggression like with the previous incident where roles were reversed and a Sunrisian warship hit a Union jet with a missile when the latter was about to violate the airspace over Vesvai's territorial waters. This time a Sunrisian jet hit a Union warship and although the Union claimed it was located in the territorial waters of Herbora's part of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora the military intelligence, the Vesvaite Revolutionary Navy and and other troops said they clearly saw that the Union's warship was getting ready to violate Vesvai's sea border. VRA said the attack was justified as a defensive measure. The Foreign Ministry said that the Union is the party that is creating the incidents risking a breakout of a new war and thus the Union should be the one to reverse its actions instead of accusing all the others of provocation.

New Coalition Government Formed

Reunified State of Vesvai has formed a new coalition government after its snap general election. Election winners: the Unity of Vesvai (UV) coalition, National Party of Vesvai (NPV), Revolutionary Rebirth (RR), National Renewal (NR) and Break out Alliance (BOA) have formed a new grand coalition. Prior to reunification NR and BOA led a coalition government in New Vesvai and UV, NPV and RR formed a coalition government in the Sovereign State of Vesvai which was the first and only true democratic leadership in Aurisi-led territory ever. In New Vesvai NR and BOA formed two coalition governments in a row following the Silver Revolution. Gara Incore Appointed New Prime Minister

The newly formed Parliament led by a newly formed grand coalition has made the very first joint vote. With the new vote the new Parliament appointed the new head of government to lead a newly formed government whose officials the new Parliament will be approving off and appointing during the formation of a new cabinet. The talks were followed by a joint press conference between President Sálût Érátân and Prime Minister Gara Incore of Vesvai, followed by a visit of Prime Minister Incore of Vesvai to the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia, where the head of government of Vesvai met with Speaker of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Dícâ Lócor, Sunrisian lawmakers and then address the Convet from a podium.

Government Officially Confirms There Will Be A Referendum On The Question Of Possibly Creating A Union Between West Zilveren Berg And Daredland

As opposition-organized protests against a creation of a union between West Zilveren Berg and Daredland are taking place in West Zilveren Berg and have carried over into Daredland, where local opposition has organized identical protests, Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser has come out in public to confirm that West Zilveren Berg would not take any steps towards integration with Daredland without a referendum. Earlier, the Chief Secretary, escorted by security, went to directly converse with protesters. Previously, the government stated clearly that in West Zilveren Berg as a democratic country, any steps towards a potential proposed union or merger with Daredland would only take place with the approval of citizens, who would have the final say. And yet, despite these statements being made earlier, the opposition parties were not convinced and mobilized protests rejecting the idea outright. Chief Secretary Visser went directly to converse with protesters about the issue to make sure there was no misunderstanding, in order to reaffirm the strict upholding of democratic principles and that no union would happen without the approval of citizens of either country. Today, Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser confirmed the official format how the citizens' position would be measured and how they would give the final verdict and that would happen via a plebiscite, which is what many suspected the format to ultimately be. The head of government believes that the Senate and the House of Representatives will approve a law soon that will authorize the referendum.

Daredland has followed in the footsteps of West Zilveren Berg in regards to the question of creating a possible union between both nations. As Daredland and West Zilveren Berg are going through opposition protests against the union proposal the government of West Zilveren Berg announced it would hold a referendum on the question. Now the Daredi government announces it will do the same. Confederal Chancellor Lasse Cerido announced that Daredland will hold an identical referendum on the question whether to pursue a union with West Zilveren Berg. Cerido said that the union idea came to both governments following consultations a recent phone conversation that the Confederal Chancellor had with the Chief Secretary of West Zilveren Berg in light of protests in both nations. Now the Confederal Chancellery and the Confederal Cabinet will address the United Confederal Assembly asking that both the lower house National Council of the Daredi Confederation and the upper house Council of States of the Daredi Confederation as two chambers of the legislature approve of a bill that would order for such a referendum to be held in the Confederation. Because of known reasons the Daredi government would struggle to conduct this referendum only in the territories controlled by the Weniges militants but not in the rest of the Confederation in case the referendum is authorized by MPs.
