Érátân Administration Confirms Sunrisian Involvement In The Operation In The Self-Proclaimed Weniges Reich

The Érátân administration has confirmed Sunrisian involvement in the reported Daredi-Sunrisian operation in the self-proclaimed Weniges Reich that revealed in the Daredi news media, in which 2 Pameravan separatist leaders - Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár, as well as Robert Praesedit, former Minister of Defense of the Dominion of Vesvai as well as the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai and the Union of Oblaren and Herbora, and also overthrown dictator of the Sovereign State of Vesvai and former Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon, have all been eliminated instead of being captured, repatriated and stand trial as Sunrisia and its' allies originally declared that these individuals deserved. Pameravan separatist leaders Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár eliminated in a Daredi-Sunrisian operation in the unrecognized Weniges Reich in Daredland

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA - Baggnagian government has welcomed the news of the elimination of two key terrorists overseas that Baggnagia was looking for and who both threatened the Democratic Republic even from the distance. It has been confirmed by the governments of Daredland and Sunrisia that Pameravan separatist leaders: Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár have both been killed during a special operation in the unrecognized separatist territory of the Weniges Reich in Daredland. The long-planned operation was carried out as a collaborative effort between the intelligence agencies and special forces of Daredland and Sunrisia who infiltrated the Weniges Reich. There the terrorists were discovered in a hide-out disguised as a three story civilian house and Nóvak and Lončár were both shot and killed by Daredi and Sunrisian special forces after they had taken out the security of both terrorists in a shootout. Additionally in this operations the Daredis and the Sunrisians have also managed to eliminate the ex-dictator of Vesvai Robert Praesedit by killing him with a planted car bomb which was remotely set off to explode after his car was in the outskirts of the city he was in to avoid anyone else being hurt.

President Stanislav Smoler commented on the operation later:

Today is a good day for Baggnagia. This operation and its success is a gift to us from our allies in Daredland and Sunrisia. They did a bigger service for international justice by taking out these targets but we appreciate it as personal assistance. The separatist-terrorist movement that plagued Pamerava has been beheaded which could practically be considered that it's dead entirely. Even after being overthrown and fleeing overseas these people still threatened Pamerava specifically and all of Baggnagia from abroad. And risk always remained that they could once again try to make a comeback or seize power in Baggnagia overall or specifically in Pamerava after they got all their strength back and could carry out a new attempt one day. Ederi government and opposition react to the joint operation by Daredland and Sunrisia in the territories of Daredland controlled by the Weniges Reich

Ederi government and opposition have both given separate reactions to the highly discussed joint operation by Daredland and Sunrisia in the Weniges Reich separatist territory of Daredland which resulted in the targeting and elimination of Dobrin Nóvak, Alexander Lončár and Robert Praesedit. Nóvak and Lončár were shot and killed after their hide-out was stormed by Daredi and Sunrisian special forces. Robert Praesedit was killed separately using a car bomb. Prime Minister Osa Repẽna said that this was a necessary effort to eliminate two terrorists and one very dangerous former dictator who oppressed his own citizens and also was culprit in repressing Ederi citizens. The head of government agreed with her Vesvaite counterpart Prime Minister Fila Nemo in saying that this operation by Daredis and Sunrisians solved a problem for many of their allies, Edereon included, and said that the Ederi government will not insist that arrest was more appropriate given the circumstances. The Prime Minister also agreed that Edereon and Vesvai would not have argued on whether one country or another would get to prosecute Praesedit in case he would have been captured because he was equally guilty before Vesvaite and Ederi people by playing a dark role in both countries histories and both countries having a shared interest in his fate without a wish to prosecute him and them keep him locked up, while having to sustain him. PM Osa Repẽna said she agreed with her colleague PM Fila Nemo of Vesvai who said that Praesedit got what he deserved and his death allowed both Vesvaites and Ederis to move on. Oblaren And Herbora Condemns Assassinations Of Dobrin Nóvak, Alexander Lončár: Says Robert Praesedit Deserved To Be Prosecuted

Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Jonathan Mollisal has condemned the "special operation" by Daredland and Sunrisia which resulted in three killings. The head of government has supported the statement by Edereon's ex-Prime Minister and leader of the Third Way party Ármand Tungstenãn who said that the actions by Daredland and Sunrisia were state terrorism. The Prime Minister said it was a shame that Sunrisia turned Daredland into its satellite state and pushed it into the direction of becoming a terrorist state which Sunrisia itself could basically be considered to be because of its history of killings, assasinations and executions abroad, including of Sunrisians as well. Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal specifically attacked the unrightful killing of Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár who were leaders of the freedom fighter movement of Pamerava. The reactions towards the killing of Robert Praesedit were not as strong because of his betrayal of the Union of Oblaren and Vesvai at the time of him being Minister of Defense and then his stance against the succeeding Union of Oblaren and Herbora afterwards. But regardless of Praesedit's negative reputation in the Union and a view towards him as a traitor and criminal PM Jonathan Mollisal said that Praesedit still deserved a fair trial and not execution especially with such a petty method as a car bomb which is used by terrorists and mobsters.

All four autonomous communities which comprise the territory of Creperia - Aurona, Faxina, Lumena and Miraya are voting for their autonomous governments. Usually regional elections for autonomous governments are held in each region separately and on separate days. But today was a rare occasion when all four autonomies are having their election at the same time. This was organized in such a way after snap local and snap regional elections were held following snap parliamentary and snap presidential election. Snap regional elections were declared to all be happening on the same day. The Creperian government and electoral commissions reassured that holding all regional elections on the same day did not at all interfere with the quality of the process of holding all elections effectively and fairly.

Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Fógâr Nélsân announced that the Sunrisian Defense Force (SDF) has begun the withdrawal of the additional military personnel it had deployed to Vesvai, specifically to the territory of the former Sovereign State of Vesvai, which later merged into present-day Vesvai. The combat-ready forces from the Sunrisian Army, Sunrisian Air Forces and Sunrisian Naval Forces were deployed at the request of the transitional government of the Revolutionary Council of Free Vesvai (RCFV), which administered the former Sovereign State of Vesvai after the Crimson Revolution and the brief Vesvaite Civil War, which resulted in the fall of the dictatorship there. Additional Sunrisian forces were invited by the Revolutionary Council to be stationed in the former Sovereign State of Vesvai and guarantee the country's security during the transitional period. Moreover, 4,600 Sunrisian military personnel will remain stationed in the permanent Sunrisian military base, which likewise was built in the former New Vesvai, which today is part of the Reunified State of Vesvai. The government's cabinet and Vesvai's Parliament have become stages of discussion for one topic recently: should there be a snap general election held in the Reunified State of Vesvai now that reunification of both Vesvais have been achieved? Since both nations reunified both governments practically merged. Amnesty granted to the former PLFWCD-led government

Lower house National Council of the Daredi Confederation and the upper house Council of States of the Daredi Confederation have with difficulty but eventually approved granting amnesty to the officials, members and those associated with the former PLFWCD-led government of Daredland. The PLFWCD-led government came to power in Daredland after the Flaming Revolution and became a historic government that pursued a course of Daredi nationalism and Corentian integration through the pursuit of Daredland's membership in MDAA and SOWEFTA. But before the revolutionary government could finish all of its functions corruption charges arose and mass anti-government protests over corruption began across Daredland. This forced the government to resign and call for early elections. Since then the Office of the Attorney General of the Daredi Confederation oepened investigations against the former PLFWCD-led government over corruption allegations and the investigation was held against every official, member and anyone associated with the former PLFWCD-led government. Under different succeeding governments including ones led by political opponents of PLFWCD it was seen that the corruption investigations were used as a political tool to discredit PLFWCD and make Daredis not trust PLFWCD ever again. It was true that for a while Daredis didn't trust PLFWCD as much as they used to and that was demonstrated at elections and polling numbers on PLFWCD's popularity and approval rating. But PLFWCD still did decent numbers. Today Confederal Minister of Home Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Rico Graf and Confederal Minister of Justice and Police of the Daredi Confederation Tomas Keller announced that amnesty was successfully granted to the former PLFWCD-led government which meant that the Office of the Attorney General will end its investigations against the PLFWCD in its entirety.

Sunrisia And Creperia Hold Joint Military Exercises And War Games In Creperia

Today, National Defense Consultant (NDC) Suâv Ambústên and Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Fógâr Nélsân are in Creperia, observing first joint military exercises and war games just between the 2 countries to be held in a while. Originally, the intention was to have it be an MDAA-wide drill, however, since it would have taken a longer time to organize, the sides had opted for only joint Creperian-Sunrisian military exercises and war games, in order to see how well Creperia and Sunrisia and just the 2 of them still work together on the battlefield as a team and a "dynamic duo." Traditionally, the military exercises and war games would be all-encompassing and would involve the armies, the air forces and the navies to see how well each branch of both militaries are effectively prepared to fight on all main fronts - land, air and sea. Since the Sunrisian ballistic missile defense system cannot yet be used for training purposes and could only be used in case of a real attack to counter hostile ballistic missiles and destroy them mid-air, both armed forces opted to use surface-to-air missiles, anti-aircraft missiles and air defense systems as surrogates or substitutes posing for the ballistic missile defense system, while regular non-nuclear missiles simulated hostile ballistic missiles. Creperian and Sunrisian soldiers were learning to shoot down hostile missiles before they could reach Creperian territory, not to mention Sunrisian, any of the MDAA member states or Corentia in general. However, in case of a requirement to use the ballistic missile defense system in Creperia, it would be operated by the Sunrisian Defense Force (SDF) under the Sunrisian Forces – Creperia (SFC) command and the larger Sunrisian Corentian Command (SUNCORCOM). The military exercises and war games are training in simulation scenarios of defending Creperia against an attack or invasion, however, the drills would also involve a counter-offensive or several.

Protests held against amnesty to the former PLFWCD-led government

Protests are being held in Daredland including capital Freihat and other cities of the Confederation by the opponents of the Daredi government's decision to grant amnesty to the officials, members and those associated with the former PLFWCD-led government. It governed Daredland after the Flaming Revolution as a revolutionary democratically elected government. The provision of amnesty made the Office of Attorney General of the Daredi Confederation to cancel all of its investigations against the former PLFWCD-led government including the corruption ones. The amnesty was provided after the United Confederal Assembly in a form of both of its chambers: lower house National Council of the Daredi Confederation and the upper house Council of States of the Daredi Confederation voted in favor of granting that amnesty despite it reportedly being a difficult and polarizing decision even for those who viewed PLFWCD favorably. The protests have been organized by opposition parties who have rallied their supporters to participate in the demonstrations. The protesters are demanding to reverse the decision seeing it as a risk of encouraging corruption in Daredland with a precedent that consequences could be avoided after all. So far the protests have not seen large numbers but they have eventually exceeded from hundreds to thousands.

Communist Party of Baggnagia holds nationwide recruitment rallies

JUGAC AND SILCENDA, BAGGNAGIA - The Communist Party of Baggnagia is holding big rallies around the Democratic Republic today. Two biggest rallies are being held in the capital Jugac and in the historical capital Silcenda where the rally has been larger by activity and number of those participating. The Communist Party is holding these rallies to promote the party's popularity and attract more people to join. The most active epicentre of the rallies is the autonomous region of Severenica where these rallies are being held in multiple larger cities. Severenica is traditionally a more left-leaning region and supports left-leaning parties including the Communist Party which is why it is most likely strategically holding most rallies there. Many right-wing parties said that given the Socialist coup attempt in a not-too-distant past and the continued existence of the Socialist government-in-exile which still claims a right to power in Baggnagia, the activity of most left-wing parties and mostly far-left parties is dangerous to the national security of Baggnagia and especially that of the Communist Party of Baggnagia. Some right-wing parties have suggested limiting or even banning communist activity in Baggnagia for the time being. Left-wing parties of Baggnagia have spoken out against this as a threat to freedom of speech, democracy and a right to any belief system in Baggnagia. The Socialist Party of Baggnagia which is part of the current majority coalition in the parliament has opposed limiting not to mention banning communist activities and said that left-wing or far-left parties of Baggnagia are patriotic and not related to the former Socialist Bloc that led the coup nor to their government-in-exile.

Daredland will transfer the bodies of Dobrink Novak and Alexander Loncar back to Baggnagia

Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Jaime Schmidt has announced that Daredland will be transferring the bodies of Dobrink Novak and Alexander Loncar back to Baggnagia. The two separatist leaders were responsible for seceding the region of Pamerava in Baggnagia from the nation via an armed insurrection and established an absolute monarchy there led by both of them. The secession from Baggnagia and the absolute monarchy were both short-lived and after the fall of the separatist Pamerava and restoration of Baggnagian control there Novak and Loncar hid overseas. Eventually the self-declared Weniges Reich was discovered as the location of their sanctuary. After a joint Daredi-Sunrisian operation in the self-declared Weniges Reich eliminated both terrorists, their bodies were brought back to the territory of Daredland still controlled by the central government. A decision was made to now turn both bodies over to Baggnagia since both were wanted fugitives in Baggnagia. Meanwhile the body of Robert Praesedit who was a former Vesvaite dictator and also temporarily an Internal Affairs Minister of the former authoritarian regime in Edereon after receiving Ederi citizenship, would remain in Daredland. He likewise hid in the self-declared Weniges Reich and likewise was terminated in that Daredi-Sunrisian operation along with Novak and Loncar. Praesedit's body was also taken back to the Freihat-controlled territory of Daredland. The body would be transferred either to Vesvai or Edereon after both nations settle which one of them will claim it.

Baggnagia will receive the bodies of Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár from Daredland

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA - It has been several days since the government of Daredland announced that it would be transferring the bodies of Dobrin Nóvak and Alexander Lončár back to Baggnagia. Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Baggnagia confirmed that Baggnagia would be receiving the remains of two wanted terrorists even though they were no longer as wanted or needed for Baggnagia as when they were alive and could actually pose a threat to the Democratic Republic. For obvious reasons they could no longer be prosecuted or incarcerated either even though the Baggnagian government technically agreed with the option of the two terrorists being eliminated if other options were unavailable. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed of contacts with Daredi diplomatic counter parts and the agreement on the body transfer was made through these communication channels. The remains of the terrorists are already on their way to Baggnagia but given the geographical distance between the nations some time might pass before they finally arrive in Baggnagia. The declared plan is to have both bodies cremated and ashes scattered instead of giving them a proper burial.

Vesvai Decides To Hold A Snap General Election

Vesvai's Parliament has passed a legislation announcing a snap general election. The vote in favor of holding a snap election was not a unanimous one and there were those that voted against or withheld their vote. In the end the majority voted in favor of holding a snap election. Holding the snap election has been a subject of debate for the past few weeks. The proponents of the idea argued that after reunifying the Reunified State of Vesvai simply merged the separately elected governments of the former nations of New Vesvai and the Sovereign State of Vesvai. The votes were held separately when both states were apart and held their separate elections. It is arguable whether the separately formed governments merged into a new larger government proportionally represents the entire new nation. To "clean up" the situation and have proportionate representation while also transitioning past the current "big hybrid government" the MPs have agreed to just hold a snap general election. The vote would be the first general election in the history of the Reunified State of Vesvai.

MDAA Debates Training Centers In Daredland And Vesvai

Representatives of member states of MDAA are holding a consultation on the possibility of opening 2 big trainings centers, where the armed forces of all the current and possible future MDAA member states could train at, whether separately or together. On Sunrisia's part, our country did allow the militaries of allied countries to occasionally train in Sunrisia's military bases on Sunrisian soil, however, those bases could not sustain the function of training bases consistently. For the most part, the personnel of the Sunrisian Defense Force (SDF) usually had to go to a specific allied country in a form of advisors and instructors and train the allied militaries on their own soil. Additionally, some form of training would also take place during the mutual military exercises and war games with allies, including MDAA ones and others. However, an initiative has now gone forward to establish permanent training centers purposely created for training of all MDAA militaries. The countries seen as ones that could host these training centers are Daredland and Vesvai, who happen to both be the newest MDAA member states. Daredland joined not that long ago, while Vesvai's predecessor state New Vesvai had been a member for a while, however, the entirety of Vesvai following the reunification with the Sovereign State of Vesvai, which was not in MDAA, acceded only after the Vesvaite reunification. Even though the militaries of both countries are up to MDAA standards, otherwise both countries would not have been able to join the bloc, they still receive additional armament, equipping and training help from the founding member states of MDAA to this day, in order to better catch up to the older member standards. Considering that there is still room for growth, both countries are seen as ones that could additionally benefit from hosting MDAA training centers.

Daredland open to establishing an MDAA training center on its territory

Confederal Minister of Defense and Protection of the Daredi Confederation Carlos Neumann has addressed the talks about Daredland possibly opening an MDAA training center on its territory. This was discussed at the most recent MDAA consultation among representatives of the bloc's member nations. The Confederal Minister said that Daredland was not only open to the idea but supports it because the Confederation has been in a debate of hosting objects of MDAA military infrastructure on its territory to boost national security. Among them were options of opening a Sunrisian or MDAA military base on the territory of Daredland. A training center is seen as the perfect compromise as something that would fulfil several functions: integrate Daredland into MDAA even more, have an MDAA facility in Daredland which boosts the nation's defense as a host of the bloc's infrastructure and as something useful for all of bloc's members. Right now Daredi armed forces continue receiving regular training most from Sunrisian troops but this center would help organize the training in an even better matter and would be something that all members could use. Confederal Minister Carlos Neumann said he would personally advocate for the United Confederal Assembly to provide legal permission for Daredland to open such a training center on the Confederation's territory.

Vesvai Accepts Opening Of MDAA Training Center In Vesvai

The MDAA military bloc and specifically the representatives of its member nations have held a consultation on the opening of training centers in Daredland and Vesvai where all militaries of MDAA members could train separately or together. Daredland has already largely hinted at supporting such an idea and that was voiced by Daredland's Confederal Ministry of Defense and Protection. But Vesvai's Ministry of the Vesvaite Revolutionary Army has followed suite and suggested that the Reunified State of Vesvai would likewise be in support of such an idea. The support for any kind of increased cooperation with MDAA is especially large in Perloveu and the south and south-western areas of the nation that used to be part of the former New Vesvai prior to reunification. But support is steadily rising in other parts of the nation as gratitude for MDAA nations in their role of helping defend democracy in the events of the Crimson Revolution, Vesvaite Civil War and aiding the reunification. The Ministry suggested that this question could be decided both prior and after the recently announced snap general election.

Confederal Supreme Court rules that Daredland must grand equal rights to LGBT

In other news from Daredland this evening apart from talks about an MDAA training center there's also news about domestic policy, the constitution and civil rights. The Confederal Supreme Court has officially ruled that the Daredi Confederation is obligated to grand equal rights to the LGBT community. This is a second big event relating to the LGBT rights in Daredland since Freihat allowed to hold the very first Pride March in Daredland. That march hasn't even been held yet and there's already this second big story on LGBT right in Daredland that came along and arguably it outweighs the permission by Freihat to hold the first Pride March. Right now Daredland only provides basic rights to the LGBT without any protections and some right like recognizing unions not to mention allow LGBT to marry have not been legalized. With the constitutional court ruling and the approaching Pride March in Freihat it is believed that the Daredi government will have to react as these two events will encourage Daredland's LGBT to push forward for more rights as equal members of society.

Minister Of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ Visits West Zilveren Berg

Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ has arrived in West Zilveren Berg. The Minister of International Relations came to meet with Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser of West Zilveren Berg and hold talks with the rest of the government of West Zilveren Berg. A large topic of discussion will include the increasing military cooperation between West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia under the Security Treaty (Sunrisia–West Zilveren Berg) without the combat aspect, but with increased military aid from Sunrisia with armaments, equipping and training of the West Zilveren Self-Defense Forces (WZSDF). In other areas, the sides will be discussing the trade and economic cooperation between the countries, with the Sunrisian side reaffirming support for continuing these relations through the existing West Zilveren Berg–Sunrisia Enhanced Trade and Investment Agreement and the SOWEFTA–West Zilveren Berg Deep and Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, while reaffirming, like before, that Sunrisia would support a free trade agreement between West Zilveren Berg and SOWEFTA if West Zilveren Berg decides to go that route, as this has been a debate in the country recently.
