Military and Ederi volunteers from the Vesvaite Civil War join forces with protesters against the Ederi government

Image

Another major break has taken place in the Ederi crisis. After declaring military mutiny against the Ederi government earlier today, the Ederi Royal Armed Forces together with the Ederi volunteers who have fought in the Vesvaite Civil War and have returned to Edereon since, declared that they are joining forces with each other and siding with the Ederi protesters. The Ederi government is now left on its own against the national military, armed volunteers and protesters. The only ones the government might still depend on are regular police, riot police, other law enforcement and authority structures and the National Guard, who had not defected from the government towards the protesters yet. The situation is both a big win for the protesters but is also partially alarming in case there is an armed confrontation between pro-government and anti-government side which both have weapons on their side. It is largely currently considered that the confrontation could be avoided because the forces are not equal on both sides and these odds are not in the government's favor since it no longer control the military. But any scenario is possible and cannot necessarily be excluded until the entire crisis is finally over. Even though the military is on the protester side nobody among the voices of the anti-government uprising have yet called for a coup against the government, hoping for an alternative way of forcing the government into concessions. And yet the possibility of a military coup against the government is left as an un-discussed option in case the government refuses to engage the opposition and the protesters in dialogue, instead opting to use force.

President Sálût Érátân Phones President Jall Cvīcli Of Creperia And Prime Minister Domm Gudēn Of Creperia To Discuss Edereon

Image

The Érátân administration has reported that has reached out to the government of Creperia to discuss the situation in Edereon. Sávî Prīmâ, Media Representative for the Administration of the President, stated that President Sálût Érátân has held 2 separate phone conversations - the first one with President Jall Cvīcli of Creperia and the second one with Prime Minister Domm Gudēn of Creperia. The President along with his counterpart and head of government in Creperia, talked about how to assist the citizens of Edereon in exiting the crisis that their country has ended up in, without having to directly meddle in the internal affairs of Edereon, which the Ederi government itself tried to achieve by calling for an MDAA intervention on its' behalf, which the military alliance turned down.

The Sunrisian and Creperian sides have agreed to remain committed to their joint position of standing against the Ederi government's plans to develop a new nuclear arsenal and also agreed that it was a correct response for Sunrisian and Creperian representatives in MDAA, in consensus also with the representatives of New Vesvai and Daredland in MDAA, to decline the request by the Ederi government to support it during the Ederi crisis. The Sunrisian and Creperian sides also discussed how important of an ally Edereon has been to both respective countries, seeing to how Creperia, Edereon and Sunrisia for the longest time have a formed a strategic "trinity", with all 3 countries having been founding members of both MDAA and SOWEFTA together and having been trilaterally connected to each other political, economically and socially before more countries came to join the alliances that were originally started by these 3 countries. However, as Creperia has been more careful in voicing criticism against the government of Edereon and neutrally tried to present itself as an ally to all parties of the current crisis in Edereon, including the government and its' opponents, and thus calling for dialogue between the sides, the Sunrisian government has been trying to convince the Creperian colleagues to recognize more the faults of the Ederi government, which the Creperian colleagues have seemingly been overlooking. While President Sálût Érátân agreed with the just criticism voiced by Prime Minister Domm Gudēn of Creperia that the Ederi government has been the one at fault for rejecting the diplomatic resolution by ignoring the Ederi opposition's calls for dialogue and supported the stance of Creperia that the Ederi state should face increasing foreign pressure to engage in dialogue between the conflict parties, the President pointed fingers at increasing authoritarianism in Edereon under the government of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn, which has been evolving prior to the current civil unrest in Edereon, but especially escalated during the crisis. President Érátân brought up the taking of constitutionally-guaranteed autonomous status from the region of Ocidas and imposing direct rule over the region by the central government from Conordo against the Constiuttion of Edereon, repressions against protests, actions against free speech and freedom of the press in Edereon, attempts to restrict coordination between protesters by blocking the internet and other information technologies, ignoring of opposition and protester calls for dialogue, and being ready to use the military against the protesters, in case the police struggle to control the situation, as well as to storm the Supreme Court of Edereon to arrest all the chief justices because of the constitutional court's "disloyalty" to the government. The military of Edereon confirmed these were the orders secretly given to it before it decided not to follow through with them and thankfully declared mutiny.

President Érátân suggested to the Creperian leaders that these past developments were not things that should be happening in a developed Corentian democracy, a member of MDAA and SOWEFTA, despite that same current government of Edereon having tried to distance or remove Edereon from MDAA, SOWEFTA and the Corentian bloc all-together, having instead sought to return a nuclear status for Edereon, ally Edereon strategically with the Corentian bloc's strategic adversaries including autocratic countries, and possibly build an autocratic system inside of Edereon as well. According to the President, the current Edereon no longer replicated Edereon that both Creperia and Sunrisia once knew and always seemed to know. President Sálût Érátân asked Creperia to diplomatically support the condemnation of the Ederi government's autocratic and unconstitutional actions it has either been taking or trying to take during this crisis especially, however, a lot of attention was also given to how Sunrisia and Creperia could cooperate in helping Edereon, a country which Sunrisia and Creperia have both been connected to for so long in a trilateral alliance and knowing that country better than anyone, exit another difficult situation it has ended up in today.

In other news:

  • Spokesperson for the Department of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Mánâ Sûrcér: "Considering that there are now armed people on both opposing sides of the political and constitutional crisis in Edereon, broken along the line of pro-government and anti-government forces, we hope the situation can be resolved peacefully without an armed civil confrontation or without a military coup. We once again call upon the parties of the Ederi crisis to engage in dialogue and we additionally call on the Ederi government to abandon the course towards authoritarianism that it has been progressively taking prior, but especially during the current unrest in Edereon."

Social Democratic Party of Edereon (SDPE) leaves governing coalition with the Third Way party

Another sensation has just come out in incoming news updates on the situation in Edereon. As we observed breaks in the Ederi government starting out with the defection of the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia from the Ederi government and also the military mutiny from the Ederi Royal Armed Forces, we are now receiving news of another major breaking point in the Ederi crisis. Another rift or break-up within the Ederi leadership has just taken place. The majority-holding ruling coalition that led the House of Representatives has collapsed. The Social Democratic Party of Edereon (SDPE) has announced that it is officially leaving the coalition with the Third Way party led by Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn. The announced was made by the SDPE party leadership. No official reason for the withdrawal has been given, only leaving speculations and theories to be made on the reason for leaving the coalition. The collapse the coalition signals not only the collapse of the majority-holding coalition in the parliament but also basically the collapse of the government. The Cabinet of Ministers had Ministers that were members of the SDPE party and after the collapse of the coalition was announced, all SDPE Ministers have resigned too, who made up just a little less than half of the current cabinet. Other Ministers were from Third Way and only Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit was and is the only nonpartisan Minister, who previously declared intention to join Third Way, but has yet to do so. Basically Third Way is now left to lead the parliament on its own and more than half of the cabinet is still functioning with Ministers from Third Way in their positions. But according to the constitution, things are not allowed to stay this way as Third Way on its own did not win a clear majority in the last general election and is thus required to form a coalition with at least one other party or electoral bloc that also received mandates in that election. And yet, given the anti-constitutional actions of the Ederi government, it is not even clear if the Ederi government will seek to fulfil such insignificant requirements instead of just grabbing onto power for itself. Observers including political analysts say that this collapse of the coalition and essentially the government indicates the beginning of an end for the current government, because "the sinking ships is now being abandoned."

Creperia calls out the government of Edereon

Creperian government issues a diplomatic statement against the actions of the Ederi government

The Creperian government has moved away from its previously neutral stance towards the situation in Edereon with harsher criticism towards the actions of the Ederi government. After having spoken to President of Sunrisia Sálût Érátân over the phone about Edereon, Prime Minister Domm Gudēn has come out with an "updated stance" of Creperia on the Ederi crisis. Having reiterated that Creperia still stands by the position that it opposed a renewed nuclear program in Edereon and thinks it was a correct decision to refuse Ederi government's request for MDAA to intervene in the Ederi crisis, Prime Minister Domm Gudēn called out the Ederi government for ignoring the opposition's calls for dialogue and attacked dictatorial ways of the current Ederi government. Specifically the Creperian Prime Minister denounced the government of Edereon for taking away the autonomy of Ocidas and imposing direct rule over that region, for taking action against Ederi protests, repressing free speech and freedom of the press and having wanted to use the military against protesters and the Supreme Court of Edereon. Prime Minister Gudēn suggested the government of Edereon could face personalized sanctions from Creperia and possibly from Sunrisia in solidarity if it didn't stop autocratic policies and not engage in resolving the Ederi crisis diplomatically.

Deputy Prime Minister Inó Rúrsõl resigns

Up until now the biggest news of a major split within the Ederi leadership have been the defection of the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia and the factual government collapse after the Social Democratic Party of Edereon (SDPE) left the coalition with the Third Way party led by Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn.

The Ambassador, all diplomats and embassy staff in Sunrisia have basically single-handedly resigned from their posts and have stayed in Sunrisia as private citizens with a declaration of support for protesters. Some would go on to seek political asylum in Sunrisia, which the Sunrisian government promised to provide, while others would seek to return to Edereon to join the protests. Meanwhile, SDPE has basically withdrawn into the opposition although the party has been slow in actively joining the protests in Edereon and has maintained neutrality by staying on the side-lines. And yet the Third Way party now leads the parliament on its own without having a constitutional right to do so because it did not win the majority in the last general election. A new coalition is required by the constitution. But that would not be the first time this government has violated the constitution, given the hostility that has developed between it and the Supreme Court along with the government's attempts to use the military to "take" the Supreme Court. The cabinet is also basically run by the Third Way party on its own because by leaving the coalition SDPE ministers have resigned from their positions and almost half of the cabinet is now vacant. The rest is still filled by Third Way ministers and the party's leader PM Ármand Tungstenãn is still head of government. Third Way is single-handedly running the parliament and the government. And yet, as mentioned before, even bigger news have come our way today which "overpowers" the coalition's collapse by its weight.

Deputy Prime Minister Inó Rúrsõl has announced resignation from office. This is the biggest resignation so far in the current Ederi crisis and during the current government's term. Resignations like this have now swept Edereon since the Coral Revolution, which initially brought the current Third Way-led government to power. Aforementioned resignations and coalition collapse outweigh the current one. The now-former Deputy Prime Minister did not give a reason for resignation, only announcing the decision to leave office and become a politician with no governing or official state office at the moment. No official speech, statement or address to the nation was given and most likely won't be. Ex-Deputy PM Inó Rúrsõl confirmed leaving the office but not leaving the Third Way party, remaining a member. The Deputy Prime Minister was the second person in the government after the Prime Minister and would have filled in for the Prime Minister in case the latter would somehow become unable to fulfil head of government duties. The second top office in the government is now left vacant along with many ministerial positions and partially MP positions as the opposition continues to participate in the protests and boycott parliament sessions. It is now unclear if the Ederi government will be able to fill all the vacated positions in a short period of time and it is unclear how many more resignations could follow as the crisis continues.

Oblaren And Herbora Criticizes Sunrisia For Being Behind The Crisis In Edereon

Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Jonathan Mollisal has openly called out Sunrisia for being the primary foreign force that is behind the unrest in Edereon. These sentiments were previously echoed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina who was the first to suggest such a theory. Later it was picked up by the Ederi government itself which rightfully accused the Sunrisian Embassy in Edereon for organizing and pupeteering the anti-government protests in Edereon.

Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal: "[S]unrisia is definitely the primary force that is behind the current unrest in Edereon which we will say openly has become one of our allies under the current government there and that's one of the things that Sunrisia doesn't like. This was already rightfully voiced by our very own Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicholas Vicina and finally the government of Edereon soon realized that too. They realized that the Embassy of Sunrisia practically turned into that center for Sunrisian agencies to direct the protests from. Edereon's opposition parties are entirely in the Sunrisian pocket and when they were previously parts of the past Ederi governments they loyally kept Edereon as a Sunrisian satellite state. And now these pro-Sunrisian forces are actively leading the Ederi "protests" under command from Sunrisia. We all know that after the Coral Revolution, the pro-Sunrisian government was unseated and the people of Edereon voted for Third Way as that party that would save Edereon from Sunrisia. This government wanted to move away Edereon from the aggressive, nationalistic and isolationist Corentian bloc of MDAA and SOWEFTA nations instead forging alliances with rival blocs and other nations that the Corentian bloc didn't like. Our nation included. The Coral Revolution made Sunrisia loose Edereon and since then Sunrisia has used their agents among the Ederi political elite and civil organization to slow down Edereon's withdrawal from the Sunrisian sphere of influence. The supposed failure of referendums to leave MDAA and SOWEFTA were just two examples of this, not to mention denying Edereon a right to become a nuclear state after having disarmed that nation and making it dependent on Sunrisian nuclear shield. Sunrisia's ultimate goal has been to wage a counter-revolution against a government in Edereon it didn't like by either bringing back the pro-Sunrisian forces that were now in the Ederi opposition or bringing to power some new pro-Sunrisian forces. Sunrisia wants the current Ederi government gone which is why it told its own representatives in MDAA and told its vassals in MDAA to deny the help from the military bloc to help the Ederi government when it asked for help since Edereon still remains an MDAA member because the withdrawal referendum failed thanks to the pro-Sunrisian agents in Ederi politics and society. What is worse is that Sunrisia has helped send straight-up armed Ederi terrorists who they recruited to fight on the Sunrisian-led coalition's side in the Vesvaite Civil War, to now invade Edereon and face the Ederi government with weapons in their hands. The military in Edereon is also in the pocket of Sunrisia which is why it betrayed the Ederi government and declared a mutiny. They refused to follow orders and betrayed their oath. And now Sunrisia is rallying its other MDAA and SOWEFTA vassals to stand up against the disliked Ederi government. First Sunrisia rallied its vassals to condemn Edereon's rightful nuclear ambitions to undo the demilitarization and denucearlization that previous pro-Sunrisian Ederi governments achieved in Sunrisian interests, then they had their vassals in MDAA jointly turned down Ederi government's request for help to make sure the Ederi government hopefully falls and just recently Sunrisia convince Creperia to become more hostile towards the Ederi government with diplomatic pressure and threatening sanctions. We also know that the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia has become the first and only one to "defect" so far and declare support for the anti-government forces. This was not a coincidence that it was the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia to become the first and only one to betray their country because the Sunrisian Department of International Relations consistently harassed the Ederi Embassy at first and later either recruited or just bought them. What is happening is a Sunrisian coup in Edereon and not a legitimate anti-government uprising. The current Ederi government is the legitimate government elected by its people. Everything that I am saying here is not just my own theories or the theories of our cabinet officials but are also faced on what our own intelligence agencies have presented to us. Sunrisia, MDAA, SOWEFTA and the Corentian bloc should be stopped and held accountable for their foreign policy of coups and regime changes to expand or retain influence, not to mention invading other countries or threatening to do so."

Conordo City Council resigns

Resignations are continuing to bring down the Ederi government. The capital city Conordo has just lost its' city government. The City Council of Conordo has announced its resignation in its entirety. Those members of the City Council that were in other parties have declared their support for the protesters, while the members of the Third Way party that were in the City Council declared support for their party leader Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and members of the Social Democratic Party of Edereon (SDPE) that were in the City Council maintained neutrality. Similarly to former Deputy Prime Minister Inó Rúrsõl who resigned from office earlier today but remained member of the Third Way party, the now-former members of the City Council from the Third Way party announced that they are only leaving the City Council but would remain in Third Way and would continue supporting the central national government. With the resignation of the City Council of Conordo it will be more difficult for the authorities and law enforcement to handle the protests in the capital Conordo because they lost leadership. Most likely PM Ármand Tungstenãn will direct the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs to fully take over the "Conordo front" without reliance on local authorities.

Police begins defecting towards protesters, volunteers and military

As resignations continue so are defections. There were reports of officers defecting from state structures and law enforcement but they were not significant. We heard of defections from regular police, riot police and the National Guard all over the country throughout the political crisis but they were anything major apart from individual cases. But since then the wave of defections has begun. The first major defection was by the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia. The second major factual defection was by the Ederi Royal Armed Forces through a declaration of mutiny against the government through a refusal to follow unconstitutional orders and arguably this was the breaking point in the entire crisis. And now the wave of defection has increased as police, riot police and the National Guard all over Edereon are declaring defections and joining the side of Ederi protesters, Ederi volunteers who fought in the Vesvaite Civil War and have now become a civil self-defense armed formation, and the Ederi Royal Armed Forces, all of whom are now on the same side. The Ederi central government is loosing control of the system and is also falling apart from the inside.

Creperia expels Ederi Ambassador from Miraya

Creperian government has taken the decision to expel the Ederi Ambassador for the first time ever since the MDAA intervention which ousted the dictatorship in Edereon

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Third Federal Republic of Creperia has announced today that Creperia has decided to expel the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Edereon from Miraya, Creperia. However, Creperia is not recalling its own Ambassador from Conordo, Edereon back to Miraya. Last time Creperia and Edereon had no ambassadors or diplomatic relations was when Edereon was ruled by a military dictatorship that was later overthrown by MDAA which at the time only consisted of Creperia, Sunrisia and Free Edereon, which was briefly independent from the rest of Edereon. The Creperian Foreign Ministry said that the ambassador has been expelled until the crisis in Edereon is settled. The ambassador was diplomatically targeted as an official of the Ederi government which Creperia blames for actively transforming into a dictatorship, something that is unacceptable for a member of the Corentian organizations that Creperia and Edereon are members in. The Creperian government is also accusing the Ederi government not just of dictatorial style action against the Ederi protesters, the region of Ocidas, free press, the Supreme Court, trying to use MDAA as a savior of the Ederi government from being depowered and trying to build nuclear weapons but also for being the primary side of the conflict to blame for the crisis not progressing towards resolution. The Ederi opposition, including opposition parties, NGOs and regular civilian protesters have long suggested talks but the Ederi government has been deliberately ignoring them and instead trying to use force. According to the Creperian government the Ederi leadership is the primary reason standing in the way of a peaceful resolution in Edereon or any resolution all-together. The Ederi Ambassador has been expelled as someone representing the Ederi government and the Creperian Foreign Ministry asked the ambassador to pass a message onto the Ederi government to begin talks with the protesters. The Creperian Foreign Ministry said the next steps would be the possible recalling of the Ambassador of Creperia to Edereon. If that doesn't work then Creperia would move on to earlier promised personalized sanctions against the Ederi government. In fact, the Creperian and Sunrisian governments are reportedly still in contact in possibly coordinating these personalized sanctions as a joint effort.

Ederi opposition declares that there is a "Real Revolution" underway in Edereon

Image

Ederi opposition parties are now openly saying that the protests in Edereon which escalated from peaceful demonstrations into a more violent confrontation involving violence and injuries are now a "Real Revolution." The last time someone said that there was a revolution happening in Edereon was Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn before he became head of government and before his Third Way party came to power. It was back when PM Ármand Tungstenãn and his back then an opposition party of Third Way led a nationwide uprising against the previous government which back then was led by the NFNU coalition. Back then the Ederis were way more split than today between anti-government protesters supporting Tungstenãn and Third Way against pro-government demonstrators supporting the NFNU-led government at the time. Those were events known as the Coral Revolution which brought the current government to power. Today Edereon is going through another revolution but this time the roles have changed as PM Tungstenãn and Third Way are in power while NFNU has been pushed into the opposition and today is among the leading forces of the anti-government protests. The primary difference between the previous Coral Revolution and the current uprising which has been unofficially named the Spring Revolution is that the Ederis are much more united in protest against the government. There are practically no anti-government protesters against pro-government demonstrators. It seems the government has lost support even from its supporters and today the entire Ederi nation seems to have risen up against the Ederi government led by PM Ármand Tungstenãn which has been pushing Edereon in an authoritarian direction we have not seen in a long time in our history.

Members of Third Way party resign from the Government Cabinet and the House of Representatives

And news keep coming in. We now know that Creperia has expelled the Ederi ambassador while not having yet recalled its own yet threatening to do so as the next step. And Creperia also threatens personalized sanctions in coordination with Sunrisia as a measure against the Ederi government for its refusal to diplomatically settle the crisis and for the aforementioned authoritarian ways. But that is not all. The Ederi leadership continues to fall apart. Hours after the City Council of Conordo resigned and virtually left the capital with no local city government, the Third Way party seems to be giving up power all together. Ministers from the Third Way party have begun resigning from their cabinet positions and Third Way MPs are resigning from the House of Representatives. Factually the Third Way party are resigning their government from power before our eyes. Although it might look like we are witnessing a factual regime change PM Ármand Tungstenãn seems to stay firmly in his position as head of government. Meanwhile the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon continues the active "handling" of protests around Edereon but the Ministry is now struggling greater because of mass police, riot police and National Guard defections and also because of the military having gone over to the protester side and armed Ederi volunteers, veterans of the Vesvaite Civil War, also protecting the unarmed protesters. They are also still protecting television stations, radio stations and newspapers, including our own, which allows us to carry out this independent broadcast without the government shutting us down. Once again, we thank our protectors and we thank the bravery of our citizens all-together.

President Sálût Érátân Holds Phone Conversations With Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser Of West Zilveren Berg And Ambassador Of Sunrisia To Edereon

Image

Sávî Prīmâ, Media Representative for the Administration of the President, has said that President Sálût Érátân has held 2 phone conversations today - one with a foreign leader and another one with one of Sunrisian envoys on diplomatic mission abroad. The first conversation was with Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser of West Zilveren Berg. Media Representative Sávî Prīmâ did not go into detail regarding what the conversation was about, instead stating that "everyone should find out soon enough, possibly in the coming days or maybe even earlier." However, the Media Representative did allow to know this much - the conversation was regarding a "situation of geopolitical importance" and admitted that the conversation also included the topic of Edereon. The Media Representative also said that the conversation was really directed at specific issues and was not dedicated to overall relations and cooperation between both countries. The second conversation was with the Ambassador of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia to the Kingdom of Edereon. Supposedly, the President only reassured the Ambassador and through him all of Sunrisian diplomats and embassy staff in the Embassy of Sunrisia in Edereon that the hints or even threats made at the Sunrisian Embassy should "not be taken seriously" and that Sunrisia remains committed to defending its' diplomats and all of its' citizens overseas. Supposedly, President Érátân also thanked the Ambassador, the diplomats, the overall embassy staff and the Embassy itself for the work it had done in Sunrisia and gave recommendations how the Sunrisian diplomatic mission should "survive" the remainder of the political and constitutional crisis in Edereon, which the President is confident is about to end. This briefing by the Media Representative for the Administration of the President about the greater involvement of the Sunrisian government in the situation in Edereon than the Érátân administration lets the public know about, including certain theories being brought up by the Sunrisian opposition parties.

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit escape from Edereon

And we are now moving onto the news of the day and officially the biggest news ever in the current Ederi crisis in comparison to all previous ones. It has been confirmed that Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has officially crossed the Ederi border and fled the country. The Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Edereon has confirmed that with the help of security personnel the Prime Minister has boarded a helicopter from a location outside the capital Conordo. To board the helicopter the head of government was secretly evacuated from the city to the boarding location outside the city but supposedly still on the territory of the Municipality of Conordo. That information remains to be confirmed. The helicopter where PM Ármand Tungstenãn was accompanied by the security personnel immediately moved to evacuate from the Ederi airspace towards the international border. It is not clear which country's border did the helicopter cross and which country did it head to for asylum. Analysts think it is unlikely that the Sunrisian border was crossed because of PM Tungstenãn's government's sour relations with Sunrisia. Observers of the situation, including the media, await confirmation from the Ederi Royal Air Force and from the border police who may have detected the helicopter and which border point did it cross. The final location of where the Prime Minister fled will be more difficult to find out. The Office of the Prime Minister however said that despite having fled the country out of concern for security PM Ármand Tungstenãn has not resigned from office and continues to remain the legitimate Prime Minister of Edereon.

The Prime Minister was not the only one to escape Edereon. The same has been done by the most controversial cabinet official and one of the few remaining government ministers who remained when all the rest had resigned in recent days. This was the Minister responsible for the government "handling" of protests around Edereon: Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit. He too has left Edereon although his escape is a bit more enigmatic at this time. No government sources or other sources have confirmed whether he had escape together with PM Ármand Tungstenãn or separately, how he escaped and with what mode of transportation, which border did he cross and which direction did he head to: the same as the Prime Minister, which also remains a mystery at this point, or a different one? Another question that also remains now is how the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon will continue to "handle" the protests now that the head of the ministry has fled the country? Supposedly, just like the Prime Minister, the Minister of State for Internal Affairs has left Edereon but has not resigned from office, leaving the possibility of him leading the "handling" of protests from abroad. That is unless the Deputy Minister of State for Internal Affairs, whose whereabouts are also a mystery, has taken over or some other substitute did. Or the all state structures that had remained loyal to the government to this point and have not defected and were directed by the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs might now be acting in a decentralized matter with no central leadership watching over them which could either lead to greater chaos without rules or on the contrary less effective functioning and possibly even capitulation once the officers realize they have been basically abandoned. All these questions remain to be answered. Although all these news might sound like major victory in the current revolution, it is still too early to celebrate victory. We might either be at the finish line already or just the end of phase one. Anything could happen. We will keep sending in updates by the hour. Stay tuned.

BREAKING NEWS

Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser Confirms That Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn Of Edereon Is In West Zilveren Berg

LIVE BROADCAST

After it was announced today by the Ederi media which cited the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon, that Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon and former leader of Vesvai/Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit of Edereon have fled Edereon amid the escalating unrest and de facto revolution in the country, both there whereabouts remained a mystery to everyone except for themselves and for their own security personnel. Since then, earlier today, the government of West Zilveren Berg announced that it would have a major announcement to make later today. And now, that moment has come. Our own head of government Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser of West Zilveren Berg has come out before a podium and in front of cameras to confirm that Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon has fled to West Zilveren Berg, which agreed to provide him with sanctuary. However, things were not that simple and thus the Chief Secretary has come out to give details on how this "operation", as it supposedly was, had been carried out.

This is what Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser had to say:

"Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon had been evacuated from Edereon as part of a joint international effort by the State of West Zilveren Berg, the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia and essentially of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Edereon. From the start West Zilveren Berg, which has often used its' non-bloc and neutral status to provide the services of negotiations ground and mediator in international conflicts and crises, has been interested in helping resolve the Ederi crisis as well. Yesterday, I spoke with President Sálût Érátân of Sunrisia and the contents of our conversations have not been public information until now as I stand here. Together, we had agreed to cooperate in offering the Prime Minister of Edereon a safe and secure evacuation from Edereon to West Zilveren Berg. In exchange, the Prime Minister of Edereon had to agree to enter negotiations with the Ederi opposition delegation, not just representing the opposition parties of Edereon but also NGOs, civil organizations and common protesters, on resolving the political and constitutional crisis in Edereon, once the Prime Minister safely arrives in West Zilveren Berg. Our country would serve as the location for these peace talks with has essentially become a non-military civil conflict, which was balancing on the verge of a civil war. The governments of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia kept contact with each other and each with the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon as well to make it a trilateral effort and a trilateral operation. The Prime Minister of Edereon has accepted these conditions and boarded a helicopter with security personnel that headed towards West Zilveren Berg. The Prime Minister has arrived safely and is now secure, having declined to let go of the office of the Prime Minister like many other officials of the Ederi leadership during this crisis, but agrees to follow through with the promises made. At the moment, despite having left the country, the Prime Minister still claims the office of the head of government from abroad. As for the whereabouts of former leader of Vesvai and Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit of Edereon, we are not aware of his whereabouts. He is not in West Zilveren Berg. In the aftermath of this trilateral international operation, I am now awaiting for the arrival of Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ as we will have joint announcements on the follow-up of the current state of affairs and joint efforts towards the resolution of the crisis in Edereon. Thank you for your attention."

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn confirmed to be in West Zilveren Berg

The whereabouts of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn after he had fled the country on a helicopter surrounded by security personnel have finally become known. Chief Secretary of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser confirmed that Prime Minister Tungstenãn has been given safe haven in West Zilveren Berg and is currently there. The Prime Minister's transportation was an international operation between West Zilveren Berg, Sunrisia and the Office of Prime Minister of Edereon. This explains yesterday's secretive conversation over the phone between the President of Sunrisia and the Chief Secretary of West Zilveren Berg.

The governments of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia talked PM Ármand Tungstenãn into leaving Edereon with his safe evacuation being guaranteed and sanctuary or asylum being given to him in West Zilveren Berg. In exchange, the Prime Minister would have to agree to finally stop repressing the protests and to start engaging in direct negotiations with an opposition delegation made up of Ederi opposition parties, NGOs, civilian and social movements along with regular protesters. Basically, every group that was involved in the protests. The Prime Minister agreed to these conditions and the Office of the Prime Minister provided the head of government with security personnel to accompany him during the evacuation out of the territory of Edereon. Now first inter-Ederi talks between the government represented by PM Tungstenãn and a comprehensive opposition delegation would take place. The talks would take place in West Zilveren Berg as a frequent third party neutral ground for negotiations on international crises, which West Zilveren Berg can host as a non-bloc state. The details of how Sunrisia and West Zilveren Berg may have been directly involved in the safe evacuation of the Prime Minister from Edereon remain to be revealed.

Chief Secretary of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser, on behalf of PM Ármand Tungstenãn who has yet to appear in public since his escape from Edereon, said that the Prime Minister has not formally resigned from office like other officials of his leadership. Formally, he still positions himself as the legitimate Prime Minister of Edereon and asked to be considered as such until the talks take place. As for Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit, who has also escaped from Edereon pratically at the same time, his whereabouts remain unknown and he did not accompany the Prime Minister to West Zilveren Berg according to the government of West Zilveren Berg itself. The sanctuary has only been provided to the Prime Minister and only his evacuation from Edereon was assisted. Most likely the Minister of State for Internal Affairs headed in another direction and pursued a different sanctuary. We will now be awaiting updates on the organization of inter-Ederi talks in West Zilveren Berg.

Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser Of West Zilveren Berg And Minister Of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ Say Preparations Are Underway For Talks Between Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn Of Edereon And Opposition Delegation Of Edereon In New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg

Image

Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ has arrived to West Zilveren Berg today. Together with Chief Secretary of the State of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser, the Minister intends to not only announce, but also elaborate on the joint mediation by the State of West Zilveren Berg and the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia that the 2 countries will provide for the talks between Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon, who has escaped from his own country to West Zilveren Berg, and a special delegation of Ederi opposition parties and all forces, political and social, which have been involved in the protests in Edereon, which is currently being referred to as a de facto revolution or more specifically - the Spring Revolution. Upon arrival, Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ met with Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser of West Zilveren Berg out in the open, but it is unclear whether the Minister had met with Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon, who has so far been avoiding public appearances since having fled from Edereon to West Zilveren Berg.

After some talks, Minister of International Relations Ustrīnâ and Chief Secretary Visser of West Zilveren Berg held a joint news conference. On his part, the Minister of International Relations stated:

"At this point, it is no longer a secret what the recent phone conversation between President Sálût Érátân and Mr. Chief Secretary was about. It is just that at the time it was not public information, because for the security of all parties, for the purpose of avoiding hostile sabotage and until final confirmation of everyone agreeing to the conditions, it would not have been a smart choice to announce publicly what the dialogue revolved around. However, now that the operation of helping safely evacuate Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon from his country to West Zilveren Berg and allowing him to stay in this country in exchange for ceasing repression of protests and agreeing to engage the protester side in dialogue, has been completed, we can now openly talk about it. However, Mr. Chief Secretary explained everything very clearly yesterday. I can just add that there was direct contact between our government and the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon, there was contact between the government of West Zilveren Berg and the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon, there were contacts between the governments of Sunrisia and West Zilveren Berg, and there was also indirect contact between our government and the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon through the government of West Zilveren Berg. The final result that we had agreed on, is a trilateral international operation of having convinced the Prime Minister of Edereon to leave his country and escape the danger that could have come to him as a result of ever escalating unrest or should I say revolution at this point, which is why assistance in safe and guaranteed evacuation was offered with asylum in West Zilveren Berg in exchange for him personally in the name of his already fragmented leadership to being talking with the other side. In the end, common sense and trilateral cooperation helped bring us to this point. Today, we are confirming that under the mediation of the governments of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia, there are going to be long-awaited talks held between the parties of the ongoing civil unrest in Edereon. New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg, which has proven itself to be a fine and effective arena for the resolution of many regional and international conflicts and crises, will serve as a neutral ground where the parties of this civil conflict can meet each other, talk and hopefully come up with a compromise or an agreement. The fact that these negotiations could only result in verbal dialogue is not the final stage of the diplomatic process that is being prepared here today. There is much hope and conditions are being prepared that the parties will not just talk, but also reach specific agreements. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon is already here and he will currently stay here, because he will safest. We have already reached out to those forces in Edereon that were part of the country-wide anti-government protests, including political parties in the opposition, NGOs, political and social movements, as well as regular protesters, requesting that they form a comprehensive and all-inclusive opposition delegation that could come to West Zilveren Berg, meet with Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon here and talk to him here on behalf of the people of Edereon. We are hoping for and expecting a major breakthrough here today."

Talks between Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and the Ederi Opposition Delegation will take place in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg under the mediation of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia

West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia will mediate talks between Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and the Ederi Opposition Delegation in New Kengara, the capital of West Zilveren Berg. This announcement was made after Sunrisian Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ arrived in West Zilveren Berg and together with Chief Secretary of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser announced the joint mediation of inter-Ederi talks. It was said that a special Ederi Opposition Delegation was invited to come for talks, made up of Ederi opposition parties, NGOs that participated in the protests, political and social movements that participated in the protests and also individual protesters. The Sunrisian Minister said there's hope the talks will not result in just conversation with sides walking away without an agreement reached but that there is a big chance of actual agreements being reached that will help resolve the Ederi crisis.

In Edereon, opposition announces that it will demand the resignation of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and sacking of the last remaining cabinet official: Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit

Meanwhile in Edereon itself, the protesting nation is not hurrying with celebrating the victory of the revolution. Even though the Ederi leadership has practically collapsed and fallen apart thanks to resignations, defections and the escape of both Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit, the people do not consider the revolution over until it's over. But the fact that the Prime Minister has been finally forced into talks from a less comfortable and powerful position he has been in than before, gives hope to many. Speaking in front of crowds from a stage set up at one of the squares of Conordo, opposition politicians, NGO members, representatives of political and social movements, celebrities, artists, intellectuals, military servicemen, defecting police officers and common protesters said that the goals or demands they want to be presented by the protest-representing delegation at the talks in West Zilveren Berg, is a demand for Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn to sack his last remaining cabinet official, the most controversial official who was responsible for using force against protesters: Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit, who in his home country of Vesvai tried to suppress a revolution when he was dictator there, a revolution which ultimately ended up ousting him. Despite Praesedit having fled Edereon just like the Prime Minister, the citizens still see him as a threat and one of the last elements of the current government apart from the Prime Minister himself. After the head of government removes the Minister of State for Internal Affairs, the protesters want Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn to then resign himself.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

New Vesvai Appoints Tori Deca As New Vesvai's Minister Of Unification

Parliament has voted to appoint the first ever office holder of the recently created New Vesvai's Ministry of Unification. MPs appointed Tori Deca an Independent MP as the new and first New Vesvai's Minister of Unification. Deca's appointment was a compromise between all parties in the parliament including those in the governing coalition and the opposition. Since support for Vesvaite Reunification is a bipartisan policy with support on all sides each party wanted their own to be the Minister of Unification and carry out the historic mission of reuniting the two Vesvaite sovereign states. But as compromise the Parliament only could agree on an Independent that did not represent any party and fulfil the mission solely in the name of New Vesvai's government and people all-together. The appointment of Minister of Unification was greeted with applause by MPs. New Vesvai's Prime Minister Fila Nemo welcomed the new Minister to her government and specifically her cabinet. The duties of Minister of Unification Tori Deca will be negotiate an integration, unification or rather reunification process of New Vesvai and the Sovereign State of Vesvai with the latter's next government that will form after the recent general election in the neighboring state. Because this will be a diplomatic negotiations process between two sovereign states the Ministry of Unification will work closely with New Vesvai's Ministry of Foreign Affairs in engaging the Sovereign State of Vesvai.

New Vesvai's Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Gives Statement On Inter-Ederi Negotiations In West Zilveren Berg

New Vesvai's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed relief that there will finally be negotiations between the parties of the civil unrest in Edereon but also expressed hope and anticipation that the talks will be successful. The Foreign Ministry repeated that to New Vesvai Edereon is a fellow MDAA and SOWEFTA ally regardless of that nation's current government having tried to pull out of those organizations or having tried to abuse MDAA in solving its own problems with protests. New Vesvai hopes to see a successful resolution of the crisis in Edereon because of humanitarian and democratic principles but also because instability in any part of MDAA and SOWEFTA affects both those blocs in their entirety.

Talks Between Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn Of Edereon And Opposition Delegation Of Edereon Underway In New Kengara

LIVE BROADCAST

Negotiations between the parties of the conflict in Edereon have begun in New Kengara. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon was led to the location of the negotiations by his security personnel along with the diplomats of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia. Meanwhile, a special Opposition Delegation of Edereon, made up of members of Ederi opposition parties, NGOs, political and social movements and also some specially-delegated civilian protesters, arrived in New Kengara earlier and after meeting with Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser, as well as with diplomats of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia, they headed straight to the negotiations location, where Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon was led to earlier. After all participants of the negotiations had gathered, Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser, together with diplomats of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia kicked off the talks, leaving the parties of the Ederi conflict to now directly talk to each other, which they have not done since the crisis began, and hopefully come up with a solution to end the unrest.

Daredi government weighs in on Ederi government-opposition negotiations in West Zilveren Berg

Image

Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Jaime Schmidt has given a statement reflecting the position of the Daredi government towards the Ederi government-opposition negotiations currently happening in West Zilveren Berg thanks to that nation's and also to Sunrisia's mediation. The Confederal Minister largely echoed what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of New Vesvai voiced saying that Edereon was still an important nation equally to Daredland like to New Vesvai and others because Daredland was part of the same organization as Edereon is in. In the case of nations like Sunrisia, Creperia and New Vesvai they share a bond with Edereon through MDAA and SOWEFTA despite the Ederi government's negative position towards membership in those Corentian bloc organizations. Sunrisia and Creperia in particiular share a long historical three-party alliance together with Edereon and the rift against has only been developing under the current Ederi government. Daredland and Edereon are only bonded by both being in MDAA with Daredland not having joined SOWEFTA yet and in part struggling with accesssion because of Ederi government's objection to let Daredland join because of the Confederation support for criticism towards Edereon having nuclear weapons. And yet Edereon is a nation that hosts the biggest Daredi diaspora abroad which was without a doubt affected and is being affected by what is happening in Edereon right now. Given these factors there is a lot at stake in Ederi negotiations for Daredland just like to other nations. All of these factors play a big role without even mentioning the humanitarian side of what kind of impact these kinds of crises carry. The Daredi government is closely monitoring the negotiations process in West Zilveren Berg along with the rest of Daredi allies. Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs Jaime Schmidt mentioned that given how West Zilveren Berg has worked as a neutral negotiations arena for resolving some major international crises there is hope it could fulfil that function once again and a similar result could be achieved with the situation in Edereon.

Under mediation of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and Ederi Opposition Delegation sign a Transfer of Power Agreement in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg

Image

It is now official. History has been made in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg and a new chapter in the history of Edereon has just been opened. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and Ederi Opposition Delegation have officially signed the Transfer of Power Agreement. According to this agreement, PM Ármand Tungstenãn has agreed to resign as head of government, which he can only do by going back to Edereon and offering his resignation as Prime Minister to the House of Representatives and to His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV. Until that protocol procedure takes place, he effectively still remains the Prime Minister. The return to Edereon by Tungstenãn to resign as Prime Minister is planned for tomorrow. In exchange, the Ederi Opposition Delegation has agreed to guarantee PM Tungstenãn a safe return to Edereon and that he would not be prosecuted for anything after his resignation as Prime Minister. The now-outgoing head of government will be returning to Edereon with a Sunrisia-provided private jet and will be accompanied by the security personnel of the Office of Prime Minister of Edereon, who originally accompanied the Prime Minister when he left Edereon for West Zilveren Berg. They would be joined security personnel from West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia, who also offered to be not only mediators but guarantors of PM Tungstenãn's secure return to Edereon to complete his resignation procedure after he had accepted the conditions and signed the Transfer of Power Agreement. The helicopter that PM Ármand Tungstenãn originally left Edereon for West Zilveren Berg was recognized as government property which is why it would be returned to Edereon at a later time, since it will not be used for the Prime Minister's return right now.

In agreement with the Ederi Opposition Delegation, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn agrees to sack the last official of his government: Minister of State for Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit

And in additional news. After having signed the Transfer of Power Agreement PM Ármand Tungstenãn also agreed to fulfil another condition demanded by the Ederi Opposition Delegation. Since he will still remain Prime Minister until tomorrow, Tungstenãn was told to sack his last remaining cabinet officials since all the others had resigned over the course of the ongoing Spring Revolution. The last cabinet official that the Ederi people want to see gone was the highly controversial Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit who was want of the made perpetrators of repressions against protesters over the course of the Spring Revolution with a history of crackdown in his home country when he was still the dictator of Vesvai before having been deposed. After signing the Transfer of Power Agreement, PM Ármand Tungstenãn additionally signed his last order as head of government, sacking Robert Praesedit as Minister of State for Internal Affairs. This sacking of the last cabinet official in the government of PM Ármand Tungstenãn and his own agreement to resign tomorrow after returning to Edereon in accordance with the Transfer of Power Agreement, marks the end of the current leadership of the Third Way party in power in Edereon. Factually, Edereon is now led by the opposition as the government has been deposed.

Parties Of The Ederi Crisis Reach An Agreement

LIVE BROADCAST

The primary attention regarding world events today continues to be aimed at the negotiations between the conflicting parties of the crisis in Edereon and it now looks like that crisis may have approached its' resolution today as everyone had deeply hoped. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon and the Opposition Delegation of Edereon have officially signed the Transfer of Power Agreement. According to this treaty, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon agrees to resign from office in exchange for security assurances and guarantees he would not be prosecuted after he leaves office and might loose the immunity he still possesses. At this time Ármand Tungstenãn still remains the Prime Minister of Edereon because he cannot resign on the spot. In order for the Prime Minister of Edereon to resign, the sitting head of government must physically return to Edereon and announce his resignation before the House of Representatives, which would accept it and afterwards the outgoing Prime Minister goes to the Monarch of Edereon His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV to offer his resignation. According to the Transfer of Power Agreement, Prime Minister Tungstenãn has agreed to do all of this, but he needs a safe passage back to Edereon. Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser said that West Zilveren Berg had offered to provide security personnel to join the security personnel of Edereon provided to Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn by the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon and who have accompanied the Ederi head of government during his escape from Edereon to West Zilveren Berg after our country agreed to provide sanctuary in exchange for negotiations with the opposition of Edereon. Sunrisia offered a private jet, which Prime Minister of Edereon could use to return to Edereon safely, as well as Sunrisian security personnel to join the Ederi security personnel, West Zilveren security personnel and the Prime Minister of Edereon on board the private jet. The helicopter, which the Prime Minister of Edereon arrived to West Zilveren Berg with during his escape, is Ederi government property and since it is not going to be used to return to Edereon, it will stay safely in West Zilveren Berg, before our country transfers back the helicopter to Edereon. After signing the Transfer of Power Agreement, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon also agreed to fulfil another opposition demand and sack his last Minister from the cabinet - Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit, who before escaping to Edereon and become an Ederi citizen, an Ederi politician and a Minister in the government of Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn, was the leader of Vesvai before being ousted in the Crimson Revolution. During the current events in Edereon, Praesedit escaped on the same day as the Prime Minister but separately and in an unknown direction, which remains a mystery to this day. Because the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon was seen as the structure that under Praesedit's tenure handled the crackdowns against protesters, the opposition wanted the controversial official to be gone. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon fulfilled the demand and sacked the Minister of State for Internal Affairs. However, despite a supposedly peaceful resolution of the crisis, Edereon currently has a de facto power vacuum, only with the opposition being the only politicians left that could fill the void, but they do not exactly have the delegated power to do so according to the constitution. The government that was actually democratically elected has now been ousted in Edereon, which is why many are now looking to the Ederi opposition to somehow temporarily fill that vacuum even without having been legally delegated to do so.

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn Of Edereon And Opposition Delegation Of Edereon Sign The Transfer Of Power Agreement: Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn Of Edereon Sacks Former Vesvaite Dictator And Minister Of State For Internal Affairs Robert Praesedit Of Edereon

Image

LIVE BROADCAST

The main international news of the last hour comes from New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg, where an agreement has apparently finally been reached between the parties of the political and constitutional crisis in Edereon, which locals in the neighboring country have now called the Spring Revolution because of the government of Edereon led by Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon having lost control and essentially having lost power, despite trying to hold onto it until the end. Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon and the Opposition Delegation of Edereon have signed the Transfer of Power Agreement, according to which Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon agrees to resign from power. However, according to Ederi tradition and the official protocol, the Prime Minister of Edereon cannot resign on the spot and is required to offer his or her resignation before the local legislature - the House of Representatives, and then to the Monarch of the Kingdom of Edereon, who is His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV. Therefore, to follow through with the resignation, the Prime Minister of Edereon has to return to Edereon. The Opposition Delegation of Edereon, as well as the mediator states of West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia have agreed to provide the head of government of Edereon with a safe return to Edereon to follow through with the promise to resign. Also according to the Transfer of Power Agreement, the Opposition Delegation of Edereon has promised to not to legally pursue or prosecute Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon for any abuses of power he might have carried out during his tenure as Prime Minister.

Even though the Prime Minister of Edereon arrived to West Zilveren Berg, during his escape from Edereon, with a helicopter provided to him by the Ederi government, Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ stated that Sunrisia will provide a special jet that will transport Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon back to his country for resignation proceedings. On board, the Prime Minister of Edereon will be joined by the security personnel from the Office of the Prime Minister Edereon, who accompanied him during his escape from Edereon to West Zilveren Berg, as well as by security personnel from West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia. The Ederi, West Zilveren and Sunrisian security personnel will also accompany him in Edereon himself as the outgoing head of government will be fulfilling his obligations under the Transfer of Power Agreement in a country, where he is still a wanted man and where the energy of the revolution has not yet "evaporated."

As his last order as Prime Minister of Edereon, after having signed the Transfer of Power Agreement, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon also sacked his last cabinet official, who has not resigned on his own like the others yet has escaped Edereon like the Prime Minister - Minister of State for Internal Affairs of Edereon Robert Praesedit, who was also the former dictator of the Sovereign State of Vesvai overthrown in the Crimson Revolution and prevented from coming to power in the follow-up brief Vesvaite Civil War, where an International Coalition made up of Sunrisia and allies intervened to successfully support the democratic revolutionary forces against dictatorship loyalists. During the current Spring Revolution in Edereon, as Minister of State for Internal Affairs nominated and appointed by Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon himself, Praesedit used his experience with repressing protests in his home country of Vesvai to repress the protests in Edereon. He has escaped from Edereon on the same day as the Prime Minister of Edereon, but separately and in an unknown location. Him having lost the position of Minister of State for Internal Affairs basically means that there will be no more crackdown against the Ederi protesters from the Ministry of State for Internal Affairs, amplified by the fact that Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn of Edereon is also leaving power. With Praesedit having lost power in both Vesvai and Edereon, and most likely not being able to return to either country in the near future, Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ suggested that Sunrisia will still be interested in finding his location, without elaborating much more on the purpose of this objective.

Meanwhile, as having been pointed out by other media sources of other countries as well, the incoming resignation of the Prime Minister of Edereon, the earlier resignation of the Deputy Prime Minister of Edereon and the entire line of succession, the resignation of the entire cabinet, the resignation of the de facto ruling party from the government and from the parliament, as well as even the resignation of the City Council of Conordo, leaving the capital city with no local city government, Edereon is currently in a state of a power vacuum. Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ said that by his opinion there is a chance that the opposition parties in Edereon, who have not given up their mandates at least in the parliament in Edereon, will be permitted to temporarily take over and form an interim government that will be able to organize new elections as soon as possible after making sure that Edereon is back at peace from the Spring Revolution and no follow-up crises or conflicts would happen. The Minister declared Sunrisia's support for the people of Edereon at this time.

Accompanied by Ederi, Sunrisian and West Zilveren security personnel, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn returns to Edereon to offer his resignation before opposition-controlled House of Representatives and His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV

Image

Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn has returned to Edereon from West Zilveren Berg today, following successful talks in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg during which a Transfer of Power Agreement was signed by him and the Ederi Opposition Delegation. According to this agreement, the Prime Minister has obliged to resign from office the following day after the treaty was signed, thus the head of government has returned to Edereon with extra security to fulfil what he promised. The Prime Minister landed in an airport in capital city Conordo on a private jet provided by Sunrisia. The Prime Minister was accompanied and will continue to be accompanied throughout the day by security personnel from the Office of the Prime Minister of Edereon, who originally accompanied him during the evacuation from Edereon, along with additional security personnel provided by Sunrisia and West Zilveren Berg. Given that PM Ármand Tungstenãn has arrived at the country, where revolutionary tensions are still high an animosity personally towards him is also rampant, the head of government has requested extra security, even making it part of the conditions for him to sign the Transfer of Power Agreement, after which the Ederi Opposition Delegation along with mediators West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia gave him security guarantees.

According to government protocol, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn will first travel to the House of Representatives which has virtually been taken over by opposition parties after the governing coalition collapsed, MPs of the Prime Minister's own Third Way party resigned from parliamentary seats, the former coalition partner Social Democratic Party of Edereon (SDPE) having turned away from the Prime Minister and Third Way, while the opposition parties now factually being a united majority in the parliament all supporting the Prime Minister's resignation. After traditionally offering his resignation before the opposition-dominated House of Representatives, Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn will go to the Royal Palace to meet with His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV and offer resignation to the Monarch of Edereon. After the King accepts it, Ármand Tungstenãn will no longer be Prime Minister. Given that the current head of government had his entire line of succession resign prior to him, the parliament will have to nominate, vote in and appoint a random MP to take over as Prime Minister after PM Ármand Tungstenãn resigns. In order to become Prime Minister, the new PM-designate approved by the parliament will likewise have to visit His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV to receive the monarch's blessing after which he or she will officially become Prime Minister.

Supreme Court approves the opposition creating a transitional government with transferred power over the Office of the Prime Minister, the Government Cabinet and the House of Representatives to fill power vacuum

Given the fact that the Ederi government has virtually resigned in its entirety with the Prime Minister resigning, his line of succession having resigned, the entire cabinet having resigned with one only one official being sacked, and also the Third Way party of the outgoing Prime Minister having resigned from the House of Representatives, Edereon is now in a power vacuum. Even the City Council of Conordo, the national capital, has resigned. In these conditions, the opposition parties have virtually been forced to take over without having a legal mandate to do so because the factually overthrown government was originally elected in a fair election. Thus, the Supreme Court of Edereon has decided to step in and allowed the opposition parties of Edereon to jointly form a transitional government with a requirement to quickly cancel the previous government's unconstitutional policies and declare snap elections as soon as possible.

Creperia allows Ederi Ambassador to return to Miraya

After successful talks in West Zilveren Berg and resignation of Ederi government, the Creperian government has allowed Edereon to return an ambassador to Miraya

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Creperia has announced that the Ambassador of Edereon to Creperia can now return to Miraya after having been expelled earlier over the Ederi government's actions in the revolution in Edereon. But now Edereon has basically undergone a change of government as all officials of that government have resigned and Ederi Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn is in the process of resigning. Today he returned to Edereon from West Zilveren Berg under the protection of security personnel from Edereon, Sunrisia and West Zilveren Berg in a Sunrisia-provided private jet to undergo the process of resignation. First he will ask the parliament to accept his resignation and later go to King Glac Crustal IV to finalize the resignation. All according to Ederi tradition. This is a results of talks in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg where the Prime Minister of Edereon and a special Delegation of Opposition of Edereon signed a Transfer of Power Agreement. One of the major results of this agreement was Ederi Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn effectively bringing an end not just to his government but basically his regime in Edereon which has been increasingly going authoritarian. The Supreme Court of Edereon has already approved Ederi opposition parties creating a transitional government to fill the power vacuum that resulted from such a vast regime change.

Given a chance of situation in allied Edereon and an expectation that things would now be returning to normal, the Creperian Foreign Ministry declared that Ederi Ambassador is once again welcome in Miraya. The Foreign Ministry did not specify if it is inviting the same ambassador that it expelled to return or for Edereon to send a new ambassador from the transitional government. Given tense relations with the deposed government, it is believe Creperia wants the transitional government in Edereon to send a new temporary ambassador before the next elected government will send a new permanent one when time comes. In the meantime, Prime Minister Domm Gudēn has congratulated the people of one of Creperia's closest historical allies Edereon with a successful Spring Revolution and saving their democracy from becoming an autocracy. The Prime Minister said that Creperia was looking forward to return to previous fraternal relations that Creperia and Edereon have always shared after having surpassed this brief rift in recent history. President Jall Cvīcli echoed those congratulations and also complimented the mediation by West Zilveren Berg and Sunrisia which helped effectively put an end to the Ederi crisis.

Ederis celebrate victory of the May Revolution

Image

As Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn is resigning and bringing an end to his government's rule in Edereon, the citizens of the Kingdom of Edereon nationwide are celebrating the victory of another revolution in the country. Except instead of calling it the Spring Revolution like before, Ederis are now referring to it as the May Revolution naming it after the month when the revolution has finally ended which is today on the 19th. This is the second revolution in Edereon in the modern period and also in the short while with a small amount of time having passed between the two revolutions. The first one was a much more divisive Coral Revolution, which was ironically led by the outgoing Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn and his Third Way party who have now been overthrown in a revolution itself. The outcome of the Coral Revolution led to PM Ármand Tungstenãn and his party coming to power. But instead of a new hope this government started isolating Edereon from traditional allies, transforming the country into an autocracy and trying to align the Kingdom with a club of other less democratic countries along with strategic adversaries of the Corentian bloc. They also had a goal to reverse the accomplished denuclearization that had popular support and turned Edereon back into a rogue nuclear state. To prevent all these evils the Ederi people were forced to go out into the streets and wage a new revolution and this time against a government which came to power in a previous revolution. The divisive Coral Revolution will most likely now be remembered in a negative light in Edereon. The May Revolution has basically become a necessary counter-revolution against the Coral Revolution and in the May Revolution the Ederi people have been much more united than in the previous uprising. Most likely the May Revolution will be remembered as a much more triumphant moment in the national history with the nation being more united than ever before in what essentially was a fight for national liberation not so much from foreign conquerors but from domestic enemies that seized power and tried to turn our developed democracy into a dictatorship again. This is our common victory today.

Daredi government reacts to the May Revolution in Edereon

Image

Confederal Chancellor Lasse Cerido, President of the Daredi Confederation Albert Vogt and Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Daredi Confederation Jaime Schmidt have jointly congratulated the citizens of Edereon with the success and victory of the May Revolution formally known as the Spring Revolution. The Daredi government officials expressed relief that with a peaceful resolution of the crisis and the prevention of its further escalation through successful talks and signing of a treaty in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg and a change of power, all citizens and inhabitants of Edereon including the largest Daredi diaspora abroad in the world, which is in Edereon, will now be safe. Confederal Minister of Foreign Affairs Jaime Schmidt added that with the change of power in Edereon there might now be more potential in progress further down the road in the question of Daredland's accession to SOWEFTA since the ousted government of Edereon promised to block this accession because of Daredland's position on nuclear weapons in Edereon. Schmidt added that the issue of nuclear weapons may also now go in a different direction because Edereon might now reverse the previous government's course which is going to be a win for international security and the goal of an increasingly nuclear-free world.

Meanwhile President of the Daredi Confederation Albert Vogt noted that Daredland and Edereon have now become even more similar by one more aspect. With non-Germanic western Daredland sharing a lot of cultural similarities with Edereon and Edereon being a nation with the largest Daredi diaspora abroad the histories of both nations have become similar too in this newest period according to the President:

"[D]aredland and Edereon have now both experienced two revolutions in their newest history and both revolutions in both nations were relatively short apart from each other. Daredland went through the Flaming Revolution and although that event pushed the nation forward in a lot of ways the fight was not over as there were new forces that tried to push the nation back or stair it off course. That is when the Second Daredi Revolution happened where the Daredi citizens claimed final victory not allowing to be taken off course again in the future. In Edereon, the nation went through the Coral Revolution first which promised a new course but instead started pushing the nation into autocracy disguised as democracy, while also trying to transform Edereon back into a nuclear threat, turned it against its allies and possibly push Edereon into a new international club of rising dictatorships. Since this was the unfortunate effect of the Coral Revolution, it was only a matter of time before a counter-revolution would come. And it came as naturally as the warm or hot weather in the spring or summer. That counter-revolution was first named the Spring Revolution and since today we know it as the May Revolution since today on the 19th it formally ended with the goals of Ederi citizens achieved. We understand Ederis better than anyone in this aspect and after having undergone our own two revolutions we would like to wish that this may become the second and final battle that you had to go through you for your victory. The circumstances of our revolutions were different but ultimately had the same final goal: freedom, hope and a bright future. We hope Daredland and Edereon will continue down that path together." - Albert Vogt, President of the Daredi Confederation, Flug
