"Within the confines of the present rules of engagement. However, considering Lady Ge's abilities, I doubt you would have to do much." Sari nodded as she echoed for emphasis, knowing of Claire's apparently proud disposition. She did not, however, disclose any further information on Ge.

Claire's HUD, if she remembered to turn it on, wpuld provide her with instructions. All she had to do was walk to Lady Ge's cabin, where she would see a young woman who smiled at her gleefully and waved her hand.

"Hello! Are you the one assigned to Miss Ge?" she asked, each word full of energy. She had her uniform on, a white shirt and a blue skirt. On the left side of her chest was a patch with her name written on it, both in alphabet and in hangul. "Hyeri" it stated, without a surname, indicating that she was related to the Heavenly Emperor himself. The pin on her lapel, intricately formed to depict a dragon in a circle within a circle filled with symbols of the zodiac, confirmed this. She was a member of the Starchild Sorority - a superhero team consisting of Tianshi's children who are above the age of majority, which is 14.

Her long, golden hair danced and she shifted up and down, hardly containing herself. "She'll come out once she's ready, then I'll take you to her usual place, and then go straight to school. Oh! I almost forgot! I'm Hyeri, nice to meet you!" she extended her right arm, eager to shake hands with this stranger. She then looked at Claire from head to toe, then tilted her head.

"You're tall..are you a northerner?" seemingly unaware of her own height. At 172 centimetres, she is already taller than the average Asian woman.

Claire tersely nodded and turned away. She checked her HUD, and, following it's instructions, went to the cabin.
Upon entering, she took note of Hyeri, her uniform, and her status as a member of the Sorority.

After being barraged with questions, the first thing Claire did was to yank off her helmet, revealing her own face; the pale, almost pallid complexion of an Englishwoman, with quite a few nicks and scars from past operations.
"Fuckin' hate this goofy-ass helmet." she muttered to herself, glaring at the helmet, before turning to Hyrei again and taking her hand in a perfunctory handshake. "Yes, I'm the one tailing her today. And no. My father was from England, my mother from Poland."
She was about to go on, but then halted, and then did a double-take. "I'm sorry; aren't you awfully young to be serving in any combat capacity? Child soldiers are banned at home, regardless of their abilities."

"Omo, a foreigner!" Hyeri looked surprised at seeing Claire's face, then got back to smiling. "Your Chinese is good, do you want to speak in Chinese or English?"

"I'm not a child, I'm 17!" she grinned. "And with my abilities I can help people..most of the time, when I'm not being goofy." she chuckled. Not long after, the door to the cabin behind her opened, and the same thin woman from earlier stepped out, this time wearing all black - black coat, black shorts, and black boots.

The woman smiled slightly to both Claire and Hyeri. "Put your visor back on." she ordered Claire before turning to her fellow concubine's daughter. "You ready? Let's go."

With a touch on the shoulder, all three women are transported, as if sucked into a vortex, thrown down a hole, and thrown right on the ground they were now standing on. The experience might be a bit disorienting to those not used to it yet.

"Well, here we are, the Beijing Galaxy! Now, time for me to leave for school! Bye!" with that, Hyeri stepped back and disappeared, as if she left through an invisible door that shut once she was across.

Claire

A barrage of questions and answers gave Clarie no time to reply before her charge appeared.

The contrast between the two was palatable. The amount of leg she showed would lead to whispers and bemused stares in Prussia-Poland. Cold weather and Prussia-Poland's status as the bastion of Catholicism in the East meant most women wore heavy trousers and other such practical legware to work.
At the order to put on her visor, Claire scowled in disgust, and swore under her breath, but complied. She remained silent as the portal opened and they entered, although the feeling was a little like being in a small rollercoaster after overeating. Not pleasant by any means, but still tolerable, and soon enough they were in 'Beijing Galaxy'.

After Hyrei left, Claire made a point of taking off her visor to turn to her charge. "Oi, wot's the Beijing Galaxy?" she asked.

Ge Xinyi looked a bit surprised, slightly jerked her head to face Claire, then remembered that Claire was new in the Harem guards and that she was from one of the colonies, looking easier. "It's the name of the mall." She then stood with her body facing Claire's, asking "You don't want to put that on? People will see your face." unaware of how condescending she might sound. She was referring to how soldiers preferred, or rather, was encouraged, to keep their visors on in public to hide their identity from any possible foreign spies, and to anticipate any sensory attacks. Regardless, would be fine with whatever Claire chose. After receiving an answer, she started walking in, heels clacking at the ground, expecting Claire to follow.

Xinyi took out her phone and made a call. "I'm already at the front gate, where are you?" "........Aiyou, that's so long, I can't wait that much." "Okay....okay...alright, see you then." Xinyi turned to see if Claire was still behind her, then nodded and went back to walking straight. She walked into a clothing store and began browsing. They would be met with some looks, as seeing a Concubine and a guard in full armour in a mall isn't exactly an everyday sight.

Xinyi took a white crop top on a hanger and held it in front of her before turning to Claire. "How is this?"

Claire scoffed at the question. "Ma'am, what are they going to do?" she replied. "Spit on it? If they see me, so much the better. Don't have any family for any spies or somethin' to threaten, and if they went after me I'd put a hole betwixt their eyes 'fore you could say 'vittles'."

Once inside, Claire was whisked through an assortment of shops and hallways, filled with wares piled to the sky.
She had only seen this sort of abundance once before in Prussia-Poland; Warsaw was home to a few malls, although the Prussian-Polish royal government routinely overrode the city government's wishes and made the construction of any malls as painful as possible; she remembered reading about a few Western companies bellyaching about it, but this had little effect on her job, and as such she had paid little attention to it. As a child, though, she had grown up in rural Poland, and what little clothes she had worn were generally hand-me-downs from her parents, bought from a small shop in the nearest town, or, in a few cases, handmade.

"You don't see many 'o these back home." she said aloud, glancing about the mall, before abruptly realizing that Xinyi had asked her a question.
She sized up the croptop curiously. "Ehh. It's alright. Depends on what you want to wear it for." she replied. "Seems pretty fragile, though, and you'd freeze at home in that thing. I wouldn't wear it myself."

Xinyi laughed. "Oh you, I'm not looking for armour. Besides, I have more than enough money to go shopping again in the autumn." she continued to browse the products before her. "The younger sends me some of what she earns every once in a while. Looks like I raised her right." she chuckled. "It's impressive how she could earn so much at such a young age. She even supports the elder. You know, I worry about her sometimes, always cooped up in her base." Xinyi paused.

"I know it's for global security, but she's only in her twenties, a kid her age should be enjoying life, going shopping with her friends, going on dates, you know? Then again, it's her choice. She doesn't want to endanger the lives of others. Such a selfless kid. I guess that's one of the things he did right. You think she'll ever find a boyfriend?" she picked up a teal tube top and began inspecting it, before putting it back on the rack and taking a similar top with a darker colour.

"This good? she asked again, this time actually looking at Claire.
