For the last question, I still don't understand your reasoning - what do you mean by streamlining? Almost every edition, there's a tiebreak btw. Changes to the tiebreak system has quite the effect.

My reasoning is simply to make it fairer because of arding to me, its a bit unfair for someone who ends up winning a tie just because of someone else performs earlier.

I did think it was unfair to do so when I was delivering votes for WV26, so what I did is look at who completed their entry first on the draft thread, or who had the earlier last edit. I will say, though, that that was an emergency situation (I believe it was the first time the entire tiebreaker was exhausted) and I kinda doubt such a situation would happen these days, as more countries compete.

You'd think so but in WHF46 and WHF49, Britonisea and Izmedu were a single point away from the full tiebreak system being exhausted and they're both very recent editions.

My issue with his tiebreak system was changing the first tiebreak from "Total nations voted" to "5 points". Feel like the amount of nations who voted is more important.

Many, many apologies for being so inactive during the planning phases and the pre-draft thread period! RL has taken up an incredible amount of energy, which hasn't left me with as much time as I'd like to pour energy into sketching out the contest in full. However, I am using what time I do have to be able to develop what is needed. For all of you currently planning your entries and RP, I have something for you...

Disclaimer: they are as of yet still incomplete. There are still sections I need to fill out, of which I have set the opening of the draft thread as my personal deadline for doing so. I am also currently on the search for opening and interval acts as well, and I think I have a basic idea of how the IC thread will work out should we end up with a lone grand final.

I'd also like to welcome everyone that has signed up There is plenty of time yet still to sign up. Once again, I encourage anyone that even has the slightest interest in this contest to put their name up here and participate in something incredible. We want this to be the biggest WHF possible.

I cannot wait for the draft thread to open. ETA on an estimate, but it's likely I'll put it up at 12:00PM-3:00PM PST.

"Feel The Rhythm" with Meghan Jorgensen, Britonish Act for WHF50!!


Feel The Rhythm: 25 year old Junterapten resident, Meghan Jorgensen's begging for everyone to "Feel The Rhythm" with her at the 50th World Hit Festival in Vodiznad.

Britonisea is to participate at the 50th World Hit Festival in what is set to become one of the largest World Hit Festivals ever to be planned in Vodiznad, Izmedu.

For the semi-centennial edition, and the supposed last edition where Britonisea is the Overseer in its current term, the broadcaster wants to go out with a big bang. Looking at the songs that Britonisea have sent in the past and looking at what has worked for the broadcaster, BVC have picked a song which is not too similar to our recent entries, but a song which is bound to get the stadium on Vodiznad all up on their feet and dancing to the Britonish offering. The song, which has been composed partly by Jayden Christopher - a WorldVision Song Contest winning composer - was sent to BVC for the 50th World Hit Festival and the broadcaster was more than happy to use it. It was about finding the right artist and BVC think that they've found that in Meghan Jorgensen.

Meghan Jorgensen is from the epicenter of music in Britonisea. The current Overseer HQ city of Junteräpten is where our artist this edition is from which is now embroidered in World Hit Festival history. Meghan Jorgensen fits with the song perfectly, giving the song that extra kick it needs, while also providing sexuality we all crave in the modern age. The song, "Feel The Rhythm" gives the Britonish Creative Director much to think about when staging the entry, with the Director already describing this as one of his personal favourite entries he's tried to stage. Meghan is set to head to Izmedu early to meet the fans and embrace herself in the brilliant Izmeduan culture - soaking up the sun of success from the nation that has won the most World Hit Festivals - with all their wins - all eight - coming after Britonisea's first.

Britonisea will be battling many nations at the semi-centennial edition of World Hit Festival. It is expected that Semi-Finals will be held at the 50th World Hit Festival - touch wood! - with Britonisea only guaranteed a place in the Grand Final if enough nations participate. With that not being a definite until closer to the date of the World Hit Festival, Delegation Britonisea are working extra hard to replicate Britonisea's success at the last time Semi-Finals were held where Britonisea placed 1st in Semi-Final 2.

Can Britonisea do it again? We will find out very soon!
