Apologies for the late reply but, even though I'm not the host or on the council, I'll answer it. Anyway, we won't mind if you do that. Besides, you're not the first person to pull their entry out with plans to submit it for the next contest. For example, Polkopia did a national final to select his WV77 entrant but he decided to withdraw in the middle of the contest; fortunately, he submitted it in the next contest (with the IC explanation that his entrant had to withdraw due to health issues but was well enough to perform in the next one). Same thing happened with Amuaplye, who had an entrant planned for WV77, withdrew sometime after the start of the competition then submitted it for WV78. There are other examples but those two are the most recent ones.

So yeah, not an issue. It's a shame you have to pull out but here's hoping we'll see you in [wherever WV80 will be held]!

I had intended to send Icy by Kim Petras (after it didn't win Polk's NF) but I'll have to push that to '80. Thankfully there was one song I knew which was easy to work with in these trying times.

As I've already mentioned on Discord, thank you all so much for the win! I didn't really expect to win this time around, at best hoping to make it to second place, but it looks like things turned out a bit better haha. Imagine if I had managed to scrounge up a few more points last edition, 3 wins in a row would be absolutely wild to have, but of course I'm more than satisfied with this!

Congrats to Izmedu for yet another silver medal, and to Talv for hitting the podium! Great to see Indo on his way up with his take on Izmedu's WV56 entry, learning from the best I see
