I shrugged. “Don't know. They're in Wembury, I'm in Launceston – a few hundred kilometers between them.”, I told her, “Though I did meet some of the students from there last Harvest Festival. Nice lads and lassies, lemme tell ya.”
And, I added in my mind, good dancers, too.

Caoimhe Barriall of the Tribe of Monaghan.
I smiled, unaware of the inner turmoil in Marie.
“Oh, she's fine!”, I said with a smile, “Still head over heels for Chris, still loving the Cleanóirili, still working for the same shop. She graduates next year and after that...” I shrugged. “I honestly doubt, that she knows herself. Though, among the two of us...”
I leaned over to tell her a bit of a secret even though there was no one around.
“Apparently, Cel also got to know another lad, Cailean, who she mentioned a few times. A musician and another lover of the Little Black Fox.”, I told her, “I doubt, that she got unfaithful to Chris, but it is worth mentioning.”

Marie
I immediately raised an eyebrow. "Doubt or not, still a distinct possibility." I replied.
I had met Chris before, and liked what I saw. A decent guy. Most likely, Cel wasn't cheating on him. She just didn't strike me as the type to do so.
Still...most likely doesn't mean for sure.
Then again, it wasn't my business. But I would ask her about Cailean later.
"By the way..." I added, with a wink and a smile, "If she has competition for Chris...I know a rifleman, whose wife knows an intelligence analyst, who knows an American, who knows an intelligence officer, whose friend owns a little building in Silesia, as well as a truncheon, some rope, and a chair."
I was kidding, of course. Hopefully that was obvious.

I nodded, not quite getting where that was. "The Free Lands are...far bigger than I guessed at first, when Marie told me about them." I admitted. "I was expecting an island or two, but instead got an archipelago with numerous large islands. I unfortunately didn't have much time, or any time, to read up before coming here." Thanks to Berengar and his jetlag, I added mentally, "In addition, I may have been a little too jet-lagged to understand some parts of Marie giving me a crash course on the Free Lands." I flushed a little with embarrassment. "Sorry."

Marion looked over to Nia, offering her left hand to Nia “I would be rather pleased if you would join us for the merriment, Miss Nia?” A light blush sprinkled on her cheeks.

Nia Sneachtúil, of Cefnffordd Descent.
Oh, a three-way dance? Daring, my dear Marion, quite daring!
"It would be my pleasure.", I said to both and Macha took the right while I took the left, departing the table for the dance floor - Macha nodded to me, I knew, how we would take this one.
Let's just say, that Marion might come out more red then she had bargained for...
We noted that, in the distance, the band was swapping, the Sáraighs leaving the stage to some people, who were quite well-known in the Free Lands: Eileen Íseal of the Tribe of Conn, of the band Dísréad, with her little sister Mona and her band Na Siúracha Beaga, the Little Sisters. Juna and Livvy were taking up their instruments as well, but not the electric ones.
Mona, of course, did not have a keyboard or piano with her, so she stepped up to sing, while her big sister took a bass guitar, while NSB's usual singer, Livvy, took a guitar. Meanwhile, Juna took a bass guitar as well. It was interesting to note, that Eileen took a bit of a backseat, letting the younger girls have all the fun of the show.
And what a show it would be! Macha and I very much liked the idea.

Despite her gung-ho attitude to do a three-way dance between Nia and Macha, she had no idea what she was getting herself into. As soon as Macha took her right hand and Nia took her left, her mind took a blank as to what she was supposed to do on the dance floor with this many people in a group. Most of the dances she had learned back in New London were meant for two people.

There was also the fact that dancing was considered a bit of an intimate act, though not to the same extent anymore for the common modern Mediaman, Marion liked to consider herself a hopeless old-fashioned romantic. The very thought she had decided to dance with both of them had already sent a moderate blush to her cheeks.

And as she noted the next group coming on stage to begin their performance, she would be caught off guard on what was to happen in the next couple of minutes between the three. Whether or not she’d be red from the sun, the exhaustion, or something more... intimate was left to be clear, but by god she was going to be more red by the time this dance was done, and the events that came after it.

Gerald obliged. As he extended his hand to the Sea Fox, he couldn't help but think that the animal in question was blessed to have a woman as attractive as Amy for a handler.
"He really is as charming as his handler," he said with a smile.

Amy Ramallae of the Tribe of Monaghan.
I smiled as Cealg indeed began to sniff Gerald's hand and even blushed lightly at the compliment - sure, I was a model, I literally continued my studies because I looked good, but it was still nice hearing it.
"Thank you.", I said and meant it.
Cealg cooed.
"Alright, seems like he thinks you are okay.", I said and nodded, "And I think so, too. He likes to be scratched under the chin - but be careful with the fins."

To my and surely to Kira's surprise, the drinks were free. Well that was a positive surprise. I also saw some bring their own drinks and food. We could have done this too, but Elvish drinks were not suitable for such parties. Too extravagant. For balls yes, but not for beach parties.
When asked by the bartender, Kira ordered:
"Hi," she said. "Well, can you recommend something that fuels two little shy souls?"
I gave a little laugh. Shy? Kira? No, she was far from shy, but she loved to show herself. But I was curious to see how the bartender interpreted this statement.

Lykke Blon.
I nodded.
"Indeed I can.", I said and smiled, "Although, currently, our range is a bit limited, seeing that we can't distribute anything alcoholic before the kids are in bed." I let that sink in for a moment, then said: "We have, however, lemonade in different varieties, teas, iced and uniced, and a whole lot of stuff including my favourite."
I reached into a nearby cooler and pulled out four bottles of herbal, iced tea from Teressien.
"Ginger tea.", I explained, "Helps with the heart and with... other functions of the heart, if you catch my meaning."
"It's an aphrodisiac.", Fiete explained and took one of the bottles. "That's one of its effects." It had a cap, so she took a tool and opened it. "For a night in the town, there's no better start."
She raised the bottle and klincked it with mine.

Bakery's a good suggestion, I just love them cupcakes, though I only do take them once in a while", elaborated her. As she loosened a bit her grip on Mhairi, her mind instantly came to work over a dawning thought. Genuinely put, Alex hadn't made any plans for an extended stay on the island though that can be arranged with her escorts but then, what she was about to face later on would be life-changing for the blond-haired Englishwoman. For a few seconds, she contemplated over her eventual decision and soon enough, a decision was made.

"Well if you're suggesting a breakfast then I am supposed to stay here, am I? I am certainly eyeing myself in a fancy hotel room somewhere on this island. Do they have a five star hotel or something? I would be happy to pay for it", inquired her in an overly eager tone. Apart from that, Alexandra herself didn't seem too eager to remain there for long. As a result, Alexandra affectionately brought her head to rest once more on Mhairi's shoulders, all the while lowering her tone as she did so. At the same time, she spontaneously played with several strips of Mhairi's hair, twirling them as she pleased. "Pretty please, sweetie?", persuaded Alexandra as she then implied her wish to be carried to her seat so she could quickly put on her floral dress as to not give the impression of her being a "slut" should she walk around with that outfit on full display.

Mhairi Uasal of the Tribe of Fermanagh.
I was a strong woman - not only character-wise, but physically, too.
I could carry her and for a moment, I was tempted to. Honestly, she was a lightweight, it would be no problem, but then, another thought dawned on me: Like we were now was a bit demeaning for both of us, her in my arms like a kid and I carrying her as if I wanted to put her against the next tree to ravage her.
But... a moment later, I carried her bridal style.
"Let's get your stuffs and then we'll go to my hotel room. No need to rent a room, if you can crash in mine, now is there?", I asked rhetorically.
Carrying her off, I thought for a moment - no one here would raise an eyebrow, if I went around in nothing but my skin, some tourists might, but that was there bloody problem. In Alex's case, and her glitter-thingy, that might not be the case as it was a bit of an eyecatcher...

I waved a hand.
"Don't be.", I said with a smile, "Be willing to learn, if it interests you. If not..." I shrugged. "...learn all the more about things, that interest you." I let a beat pass. "Aight, kiddos!", Mona began as we came to the edges of the dance floor, her usual, rather cuddly and silent demeanor having vanished in favour of a more outgoing persona, "Let's have some fun! Everyone ready to dance?!"
And with that, couples took to the dance floor, in loose formation or in tight one, in some cases even on their lonesome.
We were the only triple, taking Marion between the two of us, her facing Macha, who grinned and advised her: "Follow our lead as best as you can - and don't worry about stepping on any toes!"
And with that, the brats from NSB began to play: Na Siúracha Beaga was a Selkie-Rock Band (although some also called them Selkie Hard Rock) and even on acoustic instruments, that became very apparent very quickly. The rhythmic pulse, the beat, was at the heart, the bass and the guitar playing to it.
It was this rhythmic pulse, which made it so easy to dance to, to get into a frenzy.
Livvy got into her massive beat and Mona whistled something, the band began to play a merry tune, easy to dance to and then Mona began to sing:
"As we stepped out of the house,
We saw a lanky lad named Finny,
Who took us three by the hand
and told us, he would take us for a ride!
We told him, we can't follow on a schoolnight,
    There's homework tae be done,
He told, Lassies, ya must, for I got no company
and before we could dagger him, he explained:
    "
There was a pregnant pause as we all waited on what he was going to say to those three sweet lassies, who were decidedly more then met the eye. Mona milked that pause for all that was worth, then came down from her long note with a bang:
"I make whiskey by the barrel
    And it aint no champagne,
What I share with you, my lassies,
Cannot be bought for any money in the world!
Are ya interested, or wanna grab your friends,
There's enough to go around for a merry troop!
    "
With Marion between the two of us, we were dancing as three, feet flying with the rhythm, and we weren't the only ones - even the woodiest of blocks were tapping their feet in the rhythm.
"We shouldn't, but we did anyway,
For the arrogance of youth is a fickle thing,
He led us to his house and invited us in.
His little still was bubbling, producing the good stuff,
Triple stilled, smoky fragrance, aged for years on end,
Boy, he had a patience, which we didn't have!
He promised us only one drink,
Before he'd escort us home for the night!
    "
From the corner of my eye, I spotted Aonas Folracht dancing with a woman the age of his father, lifting her much to her surprise, I saw Elin and that lad from Lutetii dancing together, the lad cutting a good figure, to be honest, while Elin's sister and her girlfriend were dancing away as well.
"I make whiskey by the barrel
    And it aint no champagne,
What I share with you, my lassies,
Cannot be bought for any money in the world!
Are ya interested, or wanna grab your friends,
There's enough to go around for a merry troop!
    "
The refrain was a speedy affair again, but a fun one. In the middle of it, Macha turned Marion, so that she was now facing me and I greatly appreciated it.
"He kept to his word, he serves us one,
But that was Abhcan's little secret,
We took another one and maybe even more,
And before we knew, what was happening, it was morn!
School was out for today, the headache was like a Starrcailann,
But he kept to his word, he escorted us home,
Safely we arrived on home's shores,
And often visit the still with the little inn!
    "
The song was not finished yet, but the lassies were rearing up for the last stanza, the young woman singing certainly looking as if she was getting just started.
"He makes whiskey by the barrel
    And it aint no champagne,
What he shared with us three lassies
Cannot be bought for any money in the world!
We were interested, and friends by each others hand,
There is enough to go around for us merry troop!
    "
A little part inside of me wanted to grill the three, if it was a song, which they had written without basis or if there really was a little still with a little inn, where the three of them hung out from time to time. Then again - what did it matter? There were hundreds, if not thousands, of such stills all over Free Lands as distilling whiskey did not require a license.
The song ended in a flick of the hand by Livvy, which sounded out and which was soon drowned out by roaring applause and laughter erupting. Mona grinned wide, Juna playfully punching her against her upper arm.
And the three of us?
Macha and I had Marion still between us, pulling ourselves close to her, my lips on her left cheek, Macha's from behind on her right cheek, her big and fluffy tail wrapping around the hips of the three of us.
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

While she was enjoying her short-lived moment of "glory" in being extremely affectionate with her presumably newfound "girlfriend" or "lover" as she preferred it, Mhairi's suggestion for the hotel idea once more caught her in an off guard position. Wishing not to blatantly show her extreme surprise at such drastic proposal, Alexandra kept her face affix at Mhairi's shoulder as she gave it a serious thought of what she was going to say in return. Surely, it had been a mistake not to warn Mhairi first hand that she did not intend to forward such affair to that particular level of intimacy although frankly speaking, Alexandra did saw Mhairi as a loving friend despite her heterosexuality and alleged lesbianism.

By the time she made up her mind, she quickly found herself being carried, bridal style to her seat, an another surprise. As she gently sat herself down from Mhairi's hold, her hands quickly reached for the locks of her black suitcase. As quick as when she opened the suitcase's locks, she quickly took her neatly folded white floral dress from its spot in a matter of seconds is then wearing it, now fully shielding her luxurious and eye catching undergarments.

After doing a short, spontaneous twirl in front of Mhairi, Alexandra quickly refocused her attention on her surroundings as she chose to sit down for a moment on the side of a chair. Personally, that chair brought much recent memories and undeniably, she had some urges to "reenact" it with Mhairi aswell but Alexandra quickly chose to put it aside. As her eyes locked with Mhairi's with much sense of anticipation, one of her hands quickly grabbed her own smartphone, dialing the numbers away.

"Mr Scott? Yes, its Alex. I'm just calling to inform you that there's been a change of plans...", to make it short, Alexandra, after several reverses was calmly able to convince her private secretary that she would be off to her own matters for the night, something which had not been in the plan. And from the looks of her tone and expression, Alexandra clearly upheld her private secretary as some sort of a "father figure". After she quickly turned her attention back to Mhairi, her mind suddenly dawned on an amusing thought. "You know, I put two and two together and I realized that your name sounds oddly similar to my sister's! This is her, her name's Mary and I'm just going to say that she's a very talented freestyle swimmer! She's turning 17 this year and she has been representing the national team since she was 14", explained Alexandra with a beaming tone and expression, as she showed Mhairi the picture of her aforementioned younger sister. "This was during the marriage of one of our uncles last year, doesn't she look stunning!", added her with a newfound sense of joy.

"So that sounds interesting," she said. "Two times please. If my darling doesn't mind".
She turned to me, whereupon I nodded and took a little laugh.
"Well, if we don't already have enough aphrodisiac in the body," I said with a laugh. "Are such drinks common in Teressien? I thought the Teressienian was usually something - how can I say - more traditional".

"I'll keep that in mind," Gerald replied. "Thanks," he added, as he scratched Cealg under the chin, taking care to avoid the fins. While he wasn't much of a pet person, over the years he had come to understand why people would have a pet of their own. Sure, it wasn't as challenging as raising a child--not like he would know, especially since the closest he had come to that point was being godfather to his best friend's daughter--but it was arguably a start.
"I suspect that if you have someone in your life, they would be very lucky," he then said out of the blue.

I smiled at the enthusiasm of the two, but Kay seemed to be fired up like there was no tomorrow!
“Alright! Awesome!”, she cheered and leaned forward, “So... the story is as follows... during the 18th century, this region of the Free Lands was a hotbed of pirate activity. Without a protected convoy, you couldn't get a mice through, unless you flew the MGoL's or, sometimes, the Kyrenaian Flag. This was especially true for Lutetiian vessels.”
I nodded, for I knew, where this was going.
“One of these pirates was a lass by the name of Fiona Creach of the Tribe of Fermanagh.”, she continued, “She was along for the ride for the assault on the Kyrenaian Treasure Fleet in 1720 and did quite a few other remarkable things and collected treasure. And she is said to have hidden this treasure on Cape Ceárta.” She pointed towards the south. “A few dozen kilometers in that direction. We will not be going to dig up the whole cape, though, but rather...”
She looked to me and I rolled with my eyes, turning my back to her.
Kay's hand wandered under my swimsuit, into my back, and came forth a moment later with a piece of paper, carefully folded and packed into a little plastic bag.
When I had turned back to her, Kay kissed me on the cheek with a grin, which made me smile, too.
Then she unpacked the piece of paper.
“A copy. Ya see, Captain Creach is an ancestor of mine and I found this on my grandmother's attic.”, she explained and unfolded it for all to see. It was, indeed, a treasure map. Not a very precise one, one should add, but it was a treasure map, with a poem written along the side. Annotations, which clearly weren't part of the original, were scribbled onto the paper. “So... basically, the long and short of it is, that she has hidden the treasure on the Cape, guarded, back in the day, by an Arracht, I think. Thing is, there haven't been any of those sighted near these islands in the last two decades, so the way should be free. At low tide, a small entryway into a cave should be open for us to see and to enter. We have a vehicle to get there, too, and equipment in it.”
She let a beat pass.
“So, all of ya in?”, she asked.
I nodded. “You know my answer.”, I said and smiled, then looked into the round.

"A hunt for pirate treasure!" Bianca said with great enthusiasm. Her brothers and her certainly enjoyed their share of adventure novels about characters like pirates, plus some of their ancestors were sailors themselves in the 18th and 19th century respectively about the time Kuronami made first contact with this far off place.

"You bet we're up for some adventure!" Jonah agreed with the same amount of pep as his sister.

"Isabel?" Bianca asked her

"Sure, why not? It sounds like fun." Well anything with Bianca was fun for her but this did sound like a lot of fun.

"All right, we got a party! Trim the masts and hoist the sails and swab the decks!" Bianca was just spouting off random nautical terms she'd heard, not really knowing any of them and despite the fact they were going exploring at a cave not sailing the high seas.

Marion nodded with a nervous "Alright." before the music quickly began to play, it sounded like some variant of fast-paced rock and a ballad of sorts. She gave time for herself to take in the beat of the music and to look at how Macha was moving. At first, it was simply to look at the appropriate moves, but as seconds passed, she took in the movements of her muscles, from her torso to her limbs, before finish with analyzing her figure, her physique, not only as an artist, but as an admirer of the female form.

She quickly shook herself out of her daze as she realized that she was supposed to be dancing, and finally, throwing caution to the wind, she began to dance. What started as some simple foot taping to the tune quickly progressed into a frenzy of movement, particularly from her legs and feet as she tried to do what she though was a poor estimate of what Irish-stepdancing was like, borrowing from the Celtic-Rock aura the music had.

Midway through the music Macha turned a yelping Marion towards Nia. A little stunned at first, she took in Nia's movement, her grace, and her carefree attitude as she moved to the beat of the music. With a blush, both from exhaustion and from embarrassment, she sighed with a smile, looked at the white-haired spiorad in the eyes, and picked up from where she left off, that smile grew into a grin and a giggle as she lost herself in the music and in her intimacy with the two women.

Eventually, the music came to a close, and Marion's already racing heartbeat increased tenfold as she was pulled in close from both sides, With Nia lulling her to the front as she leaned in to kiss her on her left, and from the back, Macha pulled in to kiss her on her right. The feelings of warmth, of Macha's well-endowed figure against her back, her tail wrapped around the three of them, and Nia's lithe being against her front, really did make Marion blush more from both exhaustion, and from what was now unfolding.

She felt tingling in all the right places. And she couldn't help but smile with glee.

Whatever the rest of the assembly thought about this couple that we were, no one seemed to mind as I led her over the dance floor again. She glided over the dance floor and, if I was honest, she was gorgeous while doing so.
The dance ended far too soon and with the Sáraighs making a little break, another band taking over (Aonas was more likely to recognize them), we had a little breathing room.
"It was a pleasure, Miss Ayla.", I said and breathed another kiss into her hand, "However, I am afraid, that I am, by manners and decorum, obliged to leave you in the hands of another capable man for the next dance - or woman, if you are so inclined." I shrugged at the last, I did not mind it. "Among the two of us, Aonas is a nice young man and, from what I heard, a good dancer as well."
The last was accompanied by a wink.

"That would be a pleasure in that instance. I thank you again for sharing with me." she bowed a little as a thank you. She had stamina enough for another go plus be nice to become acquainted with Aonas. But even the women had enough appeal as well.

Hanoverian Great Britain wrote:While she was enjoying her short-lived moment of "glory" in being extremely affectionate with her presumably newfound "girlfriend" or "lover" as she preferred it, Mhairi's suggestion for the hotel idea once more caught her in an off guard position.

Mhairi Uasal of the Tribe of Fermanagh.
While Alex changed, or rather, threw on her floral dress, and phoned with "Mister Scott", I was tempted to tease her a bit, play a bit with her hair, show her, how exciting it could be to be touched by tender hands and a few other things, but I decided against it.
To be honest, I saw her as a friend-in-the-making, too, maybe one with benefits, but not as a beloved. This was carnal.
I did find something at the foot of the bed, though...
Before I could show her, she showed me a photo of her little sister, "A cute girl. She certainly looks athletic.", I said with a smile and a nod, then handed her a pair of sunglasses, a small note hanging between the sides. The note read Have fun canoodling, lassies! Fintan. "These yours?"

Lykke Blon.
Fiete shrugged.
"It's traditional medicine.", she said and I snorted in bemusement, "And among us, you don't want to know, how traditional... I like wearing Tracht like any other girl, no question asked, but sometimes..." She exhaled. "I appreciate making vacations abroad. It's sometimes stifling back home."
I nodded. "She's right. We are traditional and sometimes its nice, but sometimes it sucks.", I added and Fiete nodded, "How are things over where you're from?"

Sure, it wasn't as challenging as raising a child--not like he would know, especially since the closest he had come to that point was being godfather to his best friend's daughter--but it was arguably a start.
"I suspect that if you have someone in your life, they would be very lucky," he then said out of the blue.

I smiled slightly.
"Believe it or not, but you are currently scratching the chin of the only man currently in my life.", I said with fondness for Cealg, "I mean to say, I'm single. There's a guy, who I sometimes go out with, but it's nothing stable."
Maybe as of yet, maybe it would be, who knew? Searc and Cion both had weird tendencies from time to time.
"Though, you are right.", I said with a nod to Cealg, "He is very lucky." I let a beat pass, then a second one. "How about you?"
There might have been some hopes in my voice.

Fiona Scáineadh of the Tribe of Monaghan.
Kay and I smiled at our crew, Bianca, Jonah, Isabel and the two of us.
"Alright, then.", Kay said with a firm nod, "Eat up, me hearties, for we'll depart very soon! Next stop, treasure, fame and riches!"
"And Adventure!", I added with a small smile.
"And Adventure!", Kay agreed with a wider smile.
What adventure would we be able to experience? Monsters, dark dungeons or a simple cave with lots of treasure? Traps and pitfalls every which way in the darkness?
Who knew?
We had equipment in the tankette, though, so we would manage.
Kay extended her hand into the middle, palm down. "Alright, lassies and lad, off we go into stormy seas!"

Macha hummed in agreement and rested her head on Marion's shoulder, smiling at both of us. "Though this time, how about we put Nia in the middle, Marion?", she said with a glint in her eyes, conspiring.

"Certainly, she does! We also used to call her Princess Precious when she was a toddler", added her in light of the compliments towards her little sister. Regardless, what came next proved quite shocking to her senses, as her black sunglasses caught Mhairi's eye, notifying Alexandra herself in the process. Almost immediately, her mind raced back to that very moment when she had intentionally sent Fintan off to collect her sunglasses as a temporary distraction. Almost instinctively, her cheeks began to turn red from vivid embarrassment as she quickly took it and read it over, with her mind commenting, "My goodness, he noticed it? Well, this is quite peculiar".

As she tried to perform three tasks at once, that is: hiding her state of embarrassment, making sure that Mhairi had no idea of who Fintan is, and in making sure that she would also have no idea of what she previously did, her mind once again "raced" for a solution. Alas, she had found it.

"Oh yes, they are. Thank you dear", responded her lightly as her fingers continuously fiddled with the sunglasses and the particular note though at the same time, she then quickly proceeded to wear it . "It seems that the reality of my presumed bisexuality might have caught on to some people", remarked her in a joking manner, implying to the oblivious Mhairi that it was intended for both of them. For Alexandra, Mhairi does not need to know that she had kissed a much younger girl under "intoxicated" anger, even Alexandra herself found it shocking and repulsive to her own character. "Oh and do we have any interesting places to go here? Maybe a diner or even better, an amusement park? I am thinking that we can race ourselves there after dropping my luggage at the hotel. I miss a good run!", soon enough, in sticking true to her words, Alexandra herself was up and ready with her two suitcases in her respective hands.

"Ha, I wish," Gerald replied with a chuckle. "Last time I had someone was four years ago. Doesn't really work out when the woman you're dating turns out to be one hell of a rogue VBI agent," he added. Admittedly it was true; Nora Lyn Salazar was a former Visayan Bureau of Investigation agent who was arrested after going rogue on what would be known as the Alphard Case, an operation against one of Tagbilaran's most notorious crime syndicates. "I, too, am very much single, have been since then," Gerald said after letting a beat pass.

Unusually, Ryan and Louise are a bit late to the beach feast, with so much to see on the island they have been sight seeing, however with the sun on the horizon and getting ever lower they have decided to head to the beach however they were a little further away than they anticipated. Not Louise's usual style however they are walking along the tide line where the sand is a little more compact and less powdery as they come towards the beachside dance floor and the sound of music. Lousie wears white trousers and a short sleeved white shirt, its eppelletes removed for now. Around her waist she wears a brown belt that goes through the belt loops of her trousers and it has been polished to perfection with the brasswork so shiny it glints as the light catches it, and finishing off the look her black shoes are so shiny they can almost be used as a mirror!

Ryan on the other hand is wearing jeans and a black T-shirt with a pirate ship printed on it

"Well, we've found it" says Ryan,

"not bad music either" comments Louise, "want a drink?"

"yeah why not, I'll pay" replies Ryan

"sounds good, What ya want, light ale?"

"yeah, why not" she replies.

It was Ryan who stepped into the bar area first, "watch it Lou, its soft under foot with all the fine sand", he says, glancing over at the dance area and those who are dancing on there, his arm now linked in with Louise, once at the bar, Ryan turns to the barkeeper

"two light ales please sir" he says as Louise pulls out a wallet

Bianca stood with enthusiasm and repeated, "Fame, Riches and Adventure! Off to the stormy seas we go, all aboard!"

"Bianca, that's for trains." Isabel reminded her

"Oh right, hehehe."

Isabel took her friend by the hand so the two would follow the women along.

Nia Sneachtúil, of Cefnffordd Descent.
Marion liked where this was going - and to be honest, so did I.
With her gleeful smile and my own wide one, with Macha grinning as well, the three of us were quite the hug-bundle!
We could take this whole situation elsewhere and show more appreciation for each other's forms, but to be honest, I liked this way more. As such, while the band was celebrating their success, and thanking their bassist-on-loan, I smiled at both women in my arms: "Wanna go for another dance?"
Macha hummed in agreement and rested her head on Marion's shoulder, smiling at both of us. "Though this time, how about we put Nia in the middle, Marion?", she said with a glint in her eyes, conspiring.

Marion nodded to the suggestion to dance for another round. At the suggestion of putting Nia in the middle, however, her flush deepened as Macha made the suggestion. While she was getting the hang of dancing to the music, she still had a rather sizeable amount to learn when it came to Selkie dancing, she wasn't sure if she was going to pull it off.

The last thing she wanted was to disappoint either Nia or Macha.

Regardless, after a beat of ponderance, she looked first at Nia, taking in her eyes, and then to Macha, before she bit her lip and smiled, turning back to Nia, "Why, what an excelling proposal Miss Macha, though we best be careful the danger of stepped toes does still stand." Marion grinned in amusement, mainly to abate her nerves.

I nodded at Cao's description and stored it in my head.

Lisolette Devienne and Lucas Walker
It was a nice dance between the couple, well albeit Lucas had to dance like other three times with Ida, Kiah and Enya before dancing with his girlfriend, albeit he couldn't deny it was a lot of fun to. After such funny moment they went off the dance floor to walk around the beach, their loyal black fox and best friend alongside them, Dilly. Such cutie he was.

The wiew was beautiful as they walked close to the water, both of them with their hands linked as their eyes focused on the other as they stopped, both of them being now in front of the other, still focused on their eyes.

"Beautiful isn't it?? The scenery, the people; it was all worth the travel once again. Heh, if it wasn't by the fact I want to take you somewhere else for our honeymoon if outside our nation." Lucas chuckled as he thought of it, but he did showed a blush on his face too as he thought of such things, Lise noticed Lucas's hint, deciding to follow the game as she had a flirty in her face. Leaning closely to him.

"Honeymoon?? Are you proposing to me Mr. Walker?? My, my, and I thought you were taking long." She giggled teasingly while their distance kept closing by every second it passed.

"Hey, the good things sometimes takes time. And this one; Well, it needed a lot of time." He smiled at her as he closed in too. Smiling alongside as their lips finally met on a passionate kiss that was full of love. After like what felt an eternity to them, they broke off, Lise smiled at him, knowing well that what she will say wouldn't be a yes to that answer, in a way of course.

"While I accept that I will be your wife sooner or later, we might wait a while for take that step, maybe the next year at least so when we get to this point once again. Well, we can be certain we can say yes with confidence my dear." She said, keeping her smile as so Lucas did. She accepted his proposal, but also she wanted to wait until they made sure they weren't rushing things and, well she couldn't blame her.

Sooner or later they would find themselves once again dressed in white like a year ago.

"Well as long as I marry the most beautiful woman on earth and the one I truly love, I see it as a fair deal." He said, grinning at her. While she playfully looked surprised and teased him.

"What? And being the Crown Princess of Ardens doesn't mean something??" She giggled and looked at him.

"Well. That's a plus, small, but a plus hehe." He laughed about it, the fact she was the Crown Princess of an old Kingdom, now turned Duchy inside Mervay, wasn't important, it didn't matter to Lucas.

They both then kept walking around the beach with their friend close to them.

Athena Freezis
As soon as the dance ended, Athena glared at Leo as she broke off from his embrace. Her violet eyes always focused at him with a grin on her face entirely as she decided to keep close to him and try to have fun.

"So..." She said, glaring closely at him and grinning. "How about we go somewhere else to talk, and, you know each other?? Or go and take some drinks rather??"

A Beachside Bonfire, Pléaráca Beach
To say that the air near the Ezharans was heavy would be a vast understatement. It was hostile, and though the man in the light tan jacket scowled as the fire weakly burned, it was clear that it was not him who was the source of the antagonism. Nor did the fire seem that much of a danger, for that matter — surely, one might get burned crossing it, but there was a bigger threat in such an attempt.
Death glare was a mild description for the two boys at the bonfire. One, with a neat mass of green hair and light green robes that left all but his face uncovered, had one arm encircling his legs while he held a cup of matcha at his mouth with perfect stillness. On the other side was another boy with a confident smirk despite the otherwise hostile atmosphere, and he wore a wild scarf akin to a mummy's bandage left to fly around his neck, a light, opened hoodie, a pair of sunglasses on his head, and swimming trunks, leaving much of his athletic, tanned torso exposed. As he tapped at his phone, something about him seemed corrupt. Vain. Yet, there was something magnetizing about him, unlike the green lad near him, who faded into the background despite his color contrast. Still, the allure of the confident lad indicated enough that he was Kaz "Zultanite" Mansur, an idol, for lack of better term, from the Ezharan city of Harikuni.

A woman in a lilac beach dress came up to the man, her wild purple hair whipping in the wind as she ate from a bag of marshmallows. "Any progress?"
"None. Both of them still want to murder each other, it seems."
The green-haired boy's cup went down as he spoke. "It is the only thing we agree upon." It went back up, covering his mouth; an iconic tic of Eiko Michori.
She sighed. "At least don't maim each other here. It's what got us into this mess in the first place." She turned to the man. "Marco, you're the former Scout Leader, don't you have any ideas?"
"If they get any closer, they'll probably try to kill each other. I'm surprised they're not having an argument, even." He tossed another charcoal into the fire, letting it climb up just enough to discourage any leaping-over.

"Arguing with this prude?" Kaz said, his voice husky and soft, like a whispering boyfriend, in contrast to Eiko's childlike tones. "Please, my fans are a better use of my time." He lied down and began recording. "Hey—"
Down. "Oh, there he goes again, ranting to his stans. Just make sure the Kyrenaians don't see you trying to hit up a guy, got it?" Up.
Kaz turned, huffing. "Jealous, you wannabe? And if someone here's a bit scared of me... well, I'll just show them they have nothing to fear."
Down. "I turned down the offer to be a Talent. And... ugh." Up. His eyebrows and eyes betrayed the scowl hiding behind his cup.
"What, were you scared?"

"Boys, enough." The woman sat down next to Marco. "Ho, geez... to think our invitation ended up just being an excuse to babysit you two."
"Babysitting?" Kaz sat back up. "Please, I can take care of myself."
"Really?" Eiko said. "I bet you don't even know how to boil water."
"Yes I do. Just put it over a fire. What, you think I don't know how to make instant noodles or something?"
"I wouldn't trust you with it."

«Trust me» he sang, albeit in a foreign language that was evidently lost on the others. "Ha, sorry, I was just reminded of one of my singles for a show: 'Trust Me.'"
"That sounds like a terrible idea," Eiko said, "and I shudder for the team that made you that song."
Kaz smiled and cocked his head. "Hmm, you're no fun, you know? What I wouldn't give for you to just shut up."
"It's mutual, but at least I know plenty of guys who would have fun doing it." The cup did not go back up, leaving Eiko's frown visible.
"Ah?" Kaz's smile merely grew. "What, you don't trust my fans?"

"Kaz." He paused to drain his cup of tea, then set it into his hand. "Keep threatening me, see what it gets you into." For a moment, Kaz's grin broke, and Marco could tell that Eiko meant something deeply sinister. That it came out of the mouth of someone like him, who looked and sounded much younger than fourteen...

"Gods, that's enough, you two," Marco said. "Kaz, come with me, we're getting something to eat. Park, get Eiko to a pier or something. I'm not letting these two kill each other."
"Well," Eiko said, "I have a worse..." The woman gestured for him to follow, and instantly his demeanor shifted into one of complacency. "Oh, coming."
"Guess I could go for some food, but I don't know if it'll be peaceful," Kaz said as he followed Marco, eyes still glued to his screen. "Considering it's me you're bringing along."
"I don't know if anyone here knows you, to be honest."
"Surely someone will. Hope she'll be cute, wouldn't mind an exotic girlfriend." He paused to smile and take a picture with his back to the fire. Marco exhaled in frustration — never before had he seen a Talent so unpleasant, so vain, but it had to happen at some point anyway. The worst had yet to come: the boys were arranged to share a bedroom, presumably under the inane assumption that somehow Park and Marco would straighten things out by then.

Today would be a long day.

Hanoverian Great Britain wrote:"Certainly, she does!

Mhairi Uasal of the Tribe of Fermanagh.
Oh, someone was very keen to drop the subject - problem was, that I would not let it drop that easily. I mean, let's be honest, I wanted to know, who what I was sticking my fingers into.
And yes, I was aware, that Alex was experimenting with the whole idea of bisexuality and while her previous round of snogging with me had been surprisingly good, it spoke of the fact, that she had an idea of how heterosexuality worked... and not only in the way of theory, but in practicality.
I rose as well, smiled.
"You know, I know a lad with a very similar handwriting. His name is Fintan, too.", I said and offered her my arm to link. She wore her summer dress, I wore a bikini. No one I cared about would give a damn. "Finny, as everyone calls him. A very good singer and bassist. Eileen likes him." She knew Eileen, the woman with my little group when we met. We set into motion. "He has the built and demeanor to be everyone's little brother, at least in mind. And that is how we all see him in the larger circles of music in the Free Lands - even Viola."
I smiled.
"Don't tell her, that I told you that, though.", I added, "She might pretend to be that Bad Girl, and to some extend, she is, but she does have a soft side."

I looked at him with surprise in my eyes.
"That sounds like a plot for an episode of Gníomhaire Inneall.", I said, referencing the long-running series of radio dramas, which had me glued to my radio as a kid - and when I caught it on Fridays, I still spared the hour. I was sure, that he knew it, or at least heard of it. "Though, I take, that there were a few lassies, who caught your eyes over those four years?"

AHSCA wrote:"Aahaha, I did indeed have a fun time having a dance. There's a story of an old Corona Chief who had multiple women on his arm. Well that's really about it." She chuckled "Guess it just reminded me of some of the old stories I grew up hearing." Ayla took the drink with a thank you.

Heardread Folracht of the Tribe of Wicklow.
Aonas smiled and waved his hand for a moment, mouthing a "You're welcome.", as I laughed.
"Indeed, a lucky man as well!", I said and then looked at Ayla, "Though I must admit, that I am more than satisfied with one woman on each arm. No need to overdo it!" I smiled at Aonas. "You are yet young, Aonas. What do you think?"
"I think, that I should first learn how to properly treat one woman before I start any larger endeavours, Dad.", he said and grinned, especially as Isa burst out laughing. He then turned to Ayla. "Speaking of which..." He cleared his throat and extended his hand. "If I may ask for this dance? I believe, the next one is a bit slower."

"Oh, people in Draycora are very liberal," I replied. "Although I don't know if we are that out of tradition".
Kira nodded and then added: "But this also results in flaws. Elves may be very open-minded and progressive, but also very eccentric. You always want to look as extravagant and cultivated as possible and this mentality can also suck".
She paused and nodded at the bartender's statement.
"I agree that you sometimes need a vacation."

Lykke Blon.
Fiete agreed with a nod, points had been made.
"And if you can get it for free, all the better.", she said and smiled at me, "Lykke here did..."
"Well, I was technically at work!", I protested with a smile, just as a couple came up asking for two ales.
Fiete grinned and left me alone with the two Draycorans, while she took care of the two newcomers.
"I turned to the two Draycorans and told them: "I model for the host of this party on the side. Like Fiete, I am actually a Hausmädchen in Teressien, but... well, I was discovered by an agent of BI and here I am. There are certainly worse places to travel to for work!"

Meanwhile, from the corner of my eye, I saw Fiete reply to the two newcomers: "Alcohol comes out when the kids are in bed.", she told them, smiled as a couple of said kids, a pair of roundabout eleven year old Selkie-lassies, halted behind the two of them, conversing in their melodic tongue. It sounded as if they were singing arias to each other with how melodic and flowing their language was. Fiete looked back at the newcomers. "I can give you lemonade or iced tea, though. And, by the way, your can put your wallet away, no one here pays for anything, for all has been paid."
That seemed to be their first party around these parts.

Kay rose and led us off, grinning.
"You know, Fi and I really met for the first time during our studies. Economics, UoL.", she explained, "Before that, we were at different schools. She's from the Iris..."
"...and Kay here is a Binn-Lass.", I added, took the lead and adjusted our course lightly. "But we had one thing in common: Sensha-Do. "Thanks.", Kay showed her gratitude for the compliment, "But the thing with our lovely Fi here is, that she owns a Tankette. That thing there."
And here we were: 3.2 tons in weight, 3.6 meters long, 2.1 wide, 1.6 meters high, powered by a V8 petrol engine, basically a motorized box on tracks and not ashamed to show it. It had been designed as an APC, which can drag around stuff, but by now, it was mostly used as a tractor for anything and everything heavy, a staple on the roads of the Free Lands, if you ever met a motorized vehicle. Gabha Motorworks still produced them, when there was a demand, despite being from the early Thirties.
This one was of that vintage, too.
I opened the back hatch so that my passengers didn't have to climb over the open sides, and smiled as the equipment inside, ropes and heavy boots and a few other things, were still present and accounted for.
"Alright, all aboard. Be careful, though, there's a bit of equipment inside.", I warned with a smile and went forward.
"If one of the little lassies doesn't find a spot...", Kay began as she sat down on the front passenger seat, "...tell me, I have a spot free on my lap!"
I smiled. Thing was, the passenger compartment was designed for four fully equipped soldiers, with the equipment we had and the lassies, and the lad, we would have enough space.
Hopefully.
If not... well, there were enough adults with laps present.

And, as if to prove my point, we arrived back at the beach, giving us a panorama of the area, the party going on and, of course, the partygoers, who were being merry.
I smiled at Marie, then added: "You're among friends.

After their dances, Kiah, Ida and Enya having enjoyed their dances with Lucas, he was not a bad dancer in their books, the two had their small talk, of which no one took further notice.
They were a couple, everyone without eyes could see that, so when their and their Little Black Fox were having a conversation or sharing an intimate moment, no one would interrupt them willingly - privacy was the key word.
Depending on where they were walking along the beach, though, there were different destinations, which they might navigate towards. There was of course the Fiántas Cliff and the ruined tower above it, both reachable by foot (there was even a small staircase beaten into the rock), and to the South, the Sruthán Creek and the next beach, which was mostly empty.
Behind the beach, there was jungle, thick and green and both enticing and ominous, bowls set out in regular intervals to attract wild animals to eat from them and not to disturb the party. So far, there weren't many takers.
There were also a few other Little Black Foxes around, plus a familiar face: Gawain Folaíochta, of Wicklow's Tribe, Cel's employer and the man, who had given them their first pointers in how to handle Dilly, sat on an upturned box, a fox in his lap, while a few others rested in the evening sun.
On a blanket, a bit away from the main group, a girl with white-blonde hair and a boy with a long, pink braid sat together, a large, heavy-furred canine on their blanket, a bowl of water before him.
In another corner, a few young men and women were playing Kyrenaian Footvolley, though in a more relaxed and uncompetitive manner, kicking the ball between themselves and, on occasion, kicking it far out on accident.
And a few other couples were around, too, but they, too, mostly kept to themselves.
There was much, which the day still offered to them.

Leonard Rualacha of the Tribe of Wicklow.
I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, sure.", I said and offered my arm to link, "I know just the place!"
I led her off, towards the tree line and explained: "This is my third Archipelago Shooting, so I know a few places around here. I discovered where I'll lead you with Lugh, that's a very good friend of mine, on our second time here. It's a small bar by the Pléaráca Hotel, that's where we are staying. It's a secret tip, I would think, but a very nice one."
Indeed it was - and it did not belong to the more well-known restaurant.

Ezhara wrote:A Beachside Bonfire, Pléaráca Beach

Still, that allure indicated enough that he was Kaz "Zultanite" Mansur, an idol, for lack of better term, from the Ezharan city of Harikuni.

A woman in a lilac beach dress came up to the man, her wild lilac hair whipping in the wind as she ate from a bag of marshmallows.

A pier would be hard to find for Park and Eiko, at least along Pléaráca Beach, because there was none. The beach was there for swimming, relaxing, playing in the surf, partying, such things, and that what was, what it was excellent for.
However, a good observer looking out from the beach might spot a few vessels out in the water, visible distance being around ten kilometers. There was a large yacht, adorned with the black and white banner of the Sultanate of Kyrenaia and the green and yellow flag of the Khanate of Sheliak, as someone with incredibly good eyes or binoculars could see from the beach as the vessel cruised past.
A few sailing ships, mostly boats, looked small compared to the larger and motorized vessel, but one, which could compare in size, was a sailing ship used for fishing, apparently, shallow, but with a raised bow and stern - an expert would identify it as a Dorcha-Type Sailing Vessel, a relative of the legendary Capall na dTonn, the Selkie Wave-Horse, an iconic type of ship.
It was a nice view out at sea.

Isla Stiúrthóir of the Tribe of Fingal.
By the food, Kaz and Marco would have a bit more luck: I was still around handing out salads, the lads and lassies by the grill were still hard at work with the meat and a lot of food was still available to go around.
I had a small lull and enjoyed a sip of lemonade, while I used my other hand to mix a salad anew so that the dressing was everywhere where it needed to be. I hoped, that I had made enough... and that someone would get me a bunch of new plates, soon, for I was getting low on them...
Ilia knew already, though, so they were coming.
I took another refreshing sip and spotted both Kaz and Marco (of course, I did not know, who they were) - where things would go from here was not for me to decide.

Mediama wrote:Marion nodded to the suggestion to dance for another round.

Nia Sneachtúil, of Cefnffordd Descent.
I smiled. "Oh, it'll be fine!", I said and switched positions with Marion, facing her, closely, while Macha was behind me. "It'll be a slow dance, too, so..." I leaned over and whispered into Marion's ear: "...concentrate on me and I'll guide you through it..."
And then, they began, indeed a slower song - and a bit of a ballad. I honestly did not know, that NSB had a ballad of all things in their repertoire, but here we went - there it was.
The translation of the song into English was a bit bumpy, but in Selkie, it was a bit of a tearjerker.
"It's the lions within the land,
which will never allow us free.
    Their melody stomps the ground
and makes your blood turn cold.
    "
It was an interesting introduction to the song, but to be honest, I cared little for it: Marion held my attention, as Liv sang her heart out.
    "Sing to the Lovers' Gods
    And stand your ground,
    Free our minds, Songbird,
Grab your harp and guide my voice!
    "
I felt in the young girl's, no, young woman's voice, that this was quite a bit of herself in this song, maybe a love, which was not meant to be? Maybe unfulfilled due to circumstances outside of their control?
    "Strike the strings,
    Songbird.
    Release our chains,
    Unburden us, Songbird,
    So that we can soar
    On breeze and storm.
    "
The other was a musician, that much was certain, a harpist - or maybe a player of another stringed instrument? In any case, it resonated with me a bit... I was eternal, yet in a mortal world.
Did I fly? For centuries now, I had been... limited in my radius. Branwen and Elin, my cousins for the lack of a better term, had helped me a bit to widen that radius, but was I free?
    "Unwritten is our story,
So clear it is before us.
Treasures await us past the clouds,
    Thoughts are cast aside,
    Confines are torn down,
As we will see another land,
Unraveling what makes you and me.
    So, Songbird, guide my voice!
    "
I felt how Macha retreated step by step, leaving Marion and me to it, while to me, only music and Marion existed, my eyes locked onto hers, my tail coiling forward to lay itself onto her hip.
    "Strike the strings,
    Songbird.
    Release our chains,
    Unburden us, Songbird,
    So that we can fly
    On breeze and storm.
    "
Slowly, my friend left me and Marion, her agenda and conspiracy coming to fruition - she most certainly hoped, but if I hoped it...?
I was not sure, to be honest. Neither of if I hoped that whatever Macha had in mind worked or if she had in my mind what I thought she had in mind.
"Paint the sun on our wings,
So we may be a guiding light,
To those who love another like us.
Take heart and shine in the dark.
Let burden and restraints blow away
And throw it all in the wind,
Let letter rule upon another day
But give us spirit here for all to see.
    "
She was a good friend, after all, at times more, and I certainly saw, that Macha had an eye on Marion and vice versa, but Marion also had an eye on me... and vice versa. She was cute, charming, beautiful... Marion, I mean, and... what kept me?
    "Strike the strings.
    Songbird.
    Release our chains,
    Unburden us, Songbird,
    So that we can fly
    On breeze and storm.
    "
The young women on stage were beautiful, their song a ballad, that brought more then one tear to dry eyes, including to Eileen's. The member of Dísréad stood behind the stage, listened, her own bass unplayed - this was their song, she would only disrupt.
After the last stanza, a sharp eye could see, that Liv had a tear streaming down her cheek as well. She was remembering someone.
And so was I, an old friend, curious about nature and things being...
    "Strike the strings.
    Songbird.
    Release our chains,
    Unburden us, Songbird,
    So that we can fly
    On breeze and storm.
    "
And while the girls sang the refrain a second time, I decided - to release that chain, which prevented me to fly.
My lips found Marion's, ready to be rejected, but also ready to be accepted, softly, and easy for her to push me away, if she so desired.
I hoped, that she desired not to push me away.
I play PT, MT and a bit FT. I am into character-RPs.
My people are called the Selkie, the nation is usually called the Free Lands in MT-settings. Thanks.

Gerald Vicente
At the Bar

Gerald chuckled. "I'll admit: there have been quite a few ladies who caught my eye. As to how many, I'd rather not tell," he replied with a wink and a knowing look. To his credit, he had the looks; despite the generally conservative outlook borne by Boholanos, he had his share of flings since the breakup. Commitment, on the other hand, was something he was wary of as a consequence of the same, but to his relief he heard nothing from the rogue ex ever since her sentencing...perhaps it was time to get back to seeking a serious relationship, he thought idly as the conversation continued.
Let "¡Viva la Libertad!" be a cry of Eternal Defiance to the Jackboot.

"Aha I must agree, I don't think I could handle multiple partners like that. My my, two dances in one evening? Why it'd be my pleasure to. Now I think I've gotten the hang of it enough that I'll do it with grace." She stood again taking his hand. "Good sir, you lead and I'll follow."

Lisolette Devienne and Lucas Walker
They could try to get south, to somewhere where there was peace and calm, maybe a bit away from the main group, but worth for the fun for sure. However, just as they decided to take that path and turn south; Dilly felt an familiar presence, one that made him run from her owners.

"Dilly!!!" The couple screamed as they begun to run after him. They followed him until a part of the beach where they would find a lot of black foxes, there they could see who it was the familiar face.

"Mr. Folaíotchta..." Lise spoke as Dilly went besides him and snuzzled around him before returing to Lise's arms as she picked him up again.

"Long time no see..." She smiled at him.

Athena Freezis
The black haired woman nodded and gladly linked arm with him, holding him close as she looked at the red haired guy smiling.

"Sure, lead the way." And so he did, they were walking towards the tree line as she thought about this. They did looked like a couple in a way, while they could be considered friends by now, it was clear they did had feelings for the other, just the sole thought of them being a couple made the generally calm and cool woman to blush madly about such thoughts.

From what Leo was saying, it appeared the place he was taking her was, one off the maps for tourists and, not that known compared to the other restaurant close to it.

"I see, then I hope we have some nice drinks there." She grinned at him, still tightly close to him as they walked. Athena wanted to speak, but, perhaps the talks could happen at the bar. Would be better.
