Scott Brodeur to represent Estogium in WHF49 in Alshkan!

After Estogium's best result yet at a World Hit Festival, 2nd place, the nation is returning to World Hit Festival, this time being represented by Scott Brodeur and his song "With One Touch"

It was down to the wire. By the last nation to reveal the points, it was a race between a few countries who could've overtaken Estogium to win the World Hit Festival for the first time. More importantly however, for the first time, we were so close to finding out the result and two ABEN nations occupied the top two positions. Estogium and Britonisea by this point were guaranteed podium finishes and so it was a battle between the two ABEN Nations - who would place higher? Both on 29 points, Mercedini revealed their points. In the end, Estogium finished second place to Britonisea but the nation reached out to Estogium to co-host the upcoming World Hit Festival and they will, in border city Alshkan.

On the back of Estogium's best ever result, RVC would like to keep this up and not fall back to the right handside of the scoreboard that the nation got used to at the World Hit Festival. Their way out of the bottom half is Scott Brodeur who is set to represent the nation with his eerie ballad with dramatic vocals by the end of it. Scott has said that he's already thought about how he would like to stage it too; he's ready to bring home the victory to Estogium.

The World Hit Festival takes place on the 11 January 2020 where multiple nations will compete in Alshkan's first World Hit Festival.

Following the handover from ENM at the end of the previous edition, private broadcaster TeleDini has become the new home of the World Hit Festival in Mercedini, with executives beginning their journey by announcing Dini's new head of delegation and their first representative of their new tenure. It was announced live on TeleDini's flagship breakfast programme 'Wake Up With Wendy' with both artist and head of delegation making an appearance and debuting the song for the first time. It was expected that the delegation would pull out all the stops for their first appearance, with TeleDini hoping to add to ENM's two victories as host broadcaster, and potentially bring the World Hit Festival to Mercedini for the first time.

The announcement made eyebrows as two of Mercedini's heavy hitters joined forces, with new Head of Delegation Daniel Alishkaerni bringing out WHF and WorldVision runner-up Alicia Mocha with her song 'Nothing Left To Fight For'. It brings back the intense pop songs which twice won Mercedini the crown in recent editions, with Mocha returning after a lengthy hiatus from music with a new sound and renewing new hope that Dini can end back where they once were.
