The representative from Dreggler & Carris Investment Group was taken aback when it hit him that the apparent NCO was the King himself, oh god. Had he introduced himself correctly, had he acted in a refined enough manner? Only time would tell, but the power play worked and the representative was caught off guard. It seemed as if the meeting would be very interesting, at least with the Polish-Prussian King's character.
The representative discretely and silently gulped before beginning. "Your Majesty, our company, Dreggler & Carris Investment Group, holds significant assets in the forms of stocks of Gagiumish-operated companies that run operations in Poland-Prussia, sometimes practically exclusively in Poland-Prussia. Hotel groups, restaurants, casinos, and manufacturing, we hold shares in a large amount of sectors that are involved in the lives of millions of consumers. However, the recent Sejm bill - Ehm, Bill 2019AD-85 - I mean, 86 - has been pushed to the forefront of Dreggler & Carris Investment Group's attention. Should this bill be signed by yourself and put in law, billions of dollars of our assets - And indeed, billions of dollars of assets from other Gagiumish corporations - will face immense risk and will very likely be liquidated within days of the bill's signing. A few of our, ehm, contacts have notified our Investment Group of plans of reaction that would see millions of dollars, if not billions of dollars, of Polish-Prussian assets liquidated within a select few Gagiumish territories as well. The finite point that the bill attempts to prove will be shadowed by a nearly infinite loss for Gagiumish and Prussian-Polish employees in both nations, as economic downturn turns to chaos among the stock exchanges as a result of the billions of dollars lost and the employees laid off."
"Asides from this, recent polling has indicated that this bill would push a good number of Gagiumishes to advocate for lessened ties with the Polish-Prussians, harming regional and international peace and stability, but that's not my primary concern, your Majesty. This bill puts lives at risk and people's livelihoods at a greater risk."December 9, 2019
Rural Gagium
President Vincent Barbet frowned as he watched a global news program in the back of his limousine, which was currently cruising at a good 70 miles per hour on a freeway that winded through the hilly farmland of Alchemsland, connecting coastal Westmoreland to the March of Holiness in the west. He was currently bound for a military installation in eastern Ripleyland, and though flying was easier and quicker, he enjoyed the scenery of the highways and the cities that they passed through. His limo driver couldn't say the same, but money is money and the job of driving the President paid plenty. Vincent turned to stare at a magnificent freeway interchange between the highway and another as his limo drove under a fanciful overpass. He reckoned that he still had several hundred miles and a good dozen-ish hours left of his plight, though that was mighty fine for Vincent. The President looked out his limousine and took enjoyment in the several dozen cars he could see driving along the winding freeway, all of them bearing different colors, model types, and license plates. Indeed, the car and the nation's highways were symbols of freedom and individual liberties - Hell, even the poorest serf could afford a car, in the President's mind...Probably..Anyways. Vincent was amazed at how far the world and the nation had come in terms of transportation, with Gagium now possessing a nationwide freeway network of thousands of miles of highway and billions of dollars generated a year from this.
After staring at the scenery for some time, President Barbet snapped his head towards the news program, and saw that a passenger train had been derailed somewhere in southern Gagium. What a tragedy, how unfortunate...And yet, this did put a smile in Vincent's face. He always saw trains as grossly inferior and a threat to one's liberties, anyways. Trains - what a waste of money! The President shared his condolences in a social media post before smiling at the clear superiority of the automobile over trains - Pfft. His mindset was certainly that of most Gagiumishes, as cars were clearly superior, benefiting the economy more and preventing those like himself from having to sit with smelly druggies on a train.
As Barbet unlocked his phone, his head jerked to the screen one last time, and something caught his eye. Something...What was the reporter talking about? DOE pact..huh? The President squinted at the screen, discretely scratching his beard. Depian Ocean Security Council? He continued watching..Ugh, fantastic. Naturally, the Inglaterrans were moving to undermine Gagium's influence on the worldstage by attempting to strengthen their grip in the region, forming their own Federation of Conservative Nations organization. In his mind, a unified Depian Ocean region was a threat to world peace and Gagium itself - He didn't need the friends Rodier made in Bastion under Inglaterra's sphere of influence. What a disgrace. Certainly there was nothing worse for the world going on right now?
The President frowned. The global news program now showed a variety of graphic images and..oh god, straight from the hellhole that was Alenberg. The images, naturally, showed a variety of evidence that war crimes had been committed, including raping of prisoners of war and..other things. This was practically the first evidence that had come to light of such activities having been committed definitely in Alenberg, and it painted Bayerland in a horrible light - Rightfully so, in fact. It seemed as if the war being waged in Alenberg would have to come to the world's attention once more. The President thought, maybe tomorrow...December 10, 2019
Politician's Plight, Laurillac District
It's been three decades since the National Assembly named the government district of Laurillac "Politician's Plight", and the name's stuck through the years everlasting. Sure, there's been a good many attempts to remove the 'silly' name, but the name held truth - The government district was one of plight, where the deep state and dirty nobles conglomerated to plan the takeover of the world and form their evil New World Order..In the heads of some lunatic conspiracy theorists, at least. In the Executive Meeting Room, however, the President sat with some of his generals and admirals from the Gagiumish Armed Forces.
President Barbet asked, "Good sirs, what's the situation with the New Inglaterran armed forces?"
A top admiral spoke up. "Sir, our consensus is that the New Inglaterran navy has raised tensions in the area by initiating a standoff with the navy of Bastion. Their forces in the area include a carrier strike group with armed aircraft, along with forces from their allies in the Rhinish Islands."
"So why are they now proposing a peace to the standoff that they initiated days earlier?"
Another officer, this one a high ranking general, said, "Army Intelligence has word that they're moving quickly to strengthen their position and weaken ours. We speculate that this pact won't face much resistance, and will form a New Inglaterran bloc in the world - One with a decent bit of influence and military power. One-"
"One that threatens the United Commonwealths.", concluded Barbet.Mullen AFB, Greater Bastion
Mullen Airforce Base was the Gagiumish-given name to a section of a larger airfield largely operated by Greater Bastion on one of its several islands. The Gagiumish section was home to two squadrons of fighter aircraft and a small UAV section, with several hangars and buildings for personnel residence and leisure being present. A small collection of strategic bombers was also based at the airbase, though this was lesser known, and for a good reason too. Muller AFB was founded in early 2005 as the world saw a global uptick in terrorism, and Gagium quickly moved an appropriate aircraft detail to the strategic base to make a statement to the world. In exchange for Mullen AFB's existence, Greater Bastion also had been allowed to establish a military installation in Gagium as well, and Gagiumish military academies and training programs had a larger than usual population of students from Greater Bastion.
At around 7:00 PM, a pair of strategic bombers and a radar surveillance plane launched from the airbase on an approximately 1,200-mile flight to just outside of New Inglaterran airspace, where they would then turn to skirt westward along New Inglaterran airspace. Ten minutes into this flight pattern, the aircraft intentionally moved to barely dip into New Inglaterran airspace.

The Gagiumish delegate to the Security Council frowned ever so slightly. It seemed like the poor Prussian-Pole didn’t see the point - Bayerland needed to get out and the FCN needed to put an end to this harmful civil war!
“I do not contest your assessment of Alenberg or Bayerland’s involvement in Alenberg, Ambassador. It is almost irrational to expect that Bayerland holds the basic capability or motive to take any positive action towards improving the situation in Alenberg, however, especially given their various alleged actions taken against civilians in Alenberg over the years. As shown by the recent attacks in Bayerland, the situation not only is harming the people of Alenberg but has had dire consequences around the globe. The world has been made an unsafer place due to the continued conflict, and it is only posed to become unsafer still. That, ambassador, is why we in the FCN need to step in and put Bayerland in its place while upholding our institution’s basic founding principles.”

The investment representative should've felt more than relieved..but all he did feel, at least personally, was nervous. He's been to dozens of meetings and met with dozens of dozens of representatives and officials, both corporate and government, across his career, and yet..The Polish Prussian King was something else. How dare he call his assets 'slavers' though! The investment representative was personally against Gagium's feudalistic serf system, but it wasn't really slavery...not true slavery, anyways..! Still, he grabbed the roll of paper and then hastened to leave Warsaw Castle.
Once in his vehicle, he could take a good look at the bill...A motion to require products to be labelled if they were made with slaver labor? Most curious, he thought..Would this be detrimental? Hopefully not - Indeed, the people of the Polish Prussians were conservatives, right? The representative gave up on trying to figure this out and slumped his head back as his car lurched forward, beginning its journey back to the investment group's regional headquarters. The FCN Security Council
"How would that be a punishment? Bayerland is eager to increase their influence and strength in Alenberg, and having Alenberg's officials being on Bayerland's payroll seems counterproductive to punishing them.", the Gagiumish ambassador in the Security Council responded.

"On what accusation? That man fled your nation, without even telling a single government agent! He lacks any papers to prove that he was a former citizen of Prussia-Poland, and the only proof we have is his claim to be Prussian! Us Gladesmen refuse to hang our heads in shame to protect an illegal immigrant, and we also have the order to shoot if you escalate the situation! We've got assistance from Gladesville Border Enforcement to allow the 15th Bicycle guard, and they are here!"
-GT Crew, 12th Bicycle Guard
And then, right after the GT Crew on the 12th B.Guard was finished, the GT Crew for the 15th B.Guard chimed in and exclaimed.
"We will not provide a safe return to someone who's showed up to Gladesville illegally, leeched off the taxes payed from Gladesmen across the nation, and provided nothing in return! We will shoot under the decree from Vindalbal II, which reads as follows!, if the Prussian-Polish military shoots, we get to retaliate! So we can either call it off and we keep him, or we can make it a bloodbath! You choose!"

The Entire House of Duchies was panicking over the recent news that Prussia-Poland committed a massacre in the suburbia of Alaszaq over the denial of repatriation of an illegal immigrant. The Duke of Greater Alaxia was going out of his way to storm over to the Vincaract Royal Palace to demand a referendum between war and a harsh resolution. However, right after he was done speaking, Vindalbal II chimed in and spoke,
"King Arsène Rodier of The United Commonwealths of Gagium is wanting to hold a meeting between me and him, and we reached an agreement during that meeting to find a resolution to this problem. Go tell that to the House of Duchies, I want to piece what just happened over the past couple days in Alaszaq."
