ISTANBUL TODAYEconomic Dip in Istanbul MarketsRecently the Istanbul Stock Market, currently holding one of the worlds largest economies, has experienced a light drop, however some investors claim that this could only be the beginning of a recession that could take the world by storm.
Turkic Leaders have assured people that this is nothing more than a minor hiccup in the fast growing economy of the Turkic Empire and that economic progress shall continue. Sultan Mehmet also spoke on the matter saying this.
”I find it quite hard to believe some of these crackpot conspiracists when it comes to economic collapse. In fact it’s their fear that might just cause it, not whatever drop happened today.”Meanwhile Stock Holders maintain their shares for now, hoping that the economy doesn’t dip again.
Military Base attacked by Jihadi ExtremistsRecently near the city of Jerusalem, a military base was attacked by Palestinian extremists hoping to “ward off the Jewish presence” within their supposed homeland. The Turkic government has condemned said action and has sent national operatives down to the base to check on damage and loss of lives.
Currently estimated death tolls are between 2 and 4 people and all jihadis were apprehended. After interviewing them they claimed to be part of the Al-Qaeda terror group, created by Osama Bin Laden to combat Turkic rule over the Arab lands. The Turks look down to the Saudi Tribe for answers to this crime, knowing that they do have leniencies towards the terror group in question.
President Basalt visits Yemeni TerritoryAfter the recent invasion of Yemen, President Al-Saar Basalt has visited the Yemeni people for a welcome tour into the empire. The Yemeni people have noticeably taken to rebel groups such as the Hausa Collective based in Sa’naa. However with President Basalt’s promise of autonomy to the Yemeni, many hope that the presence of these groups wain over time.
President Basalt Spoke with Yemeni leadership just yesterday and had this to say afterwards.
”I think that the relationship between the Turkic Confederacy and Yemen will only blossom under one Union. The two nations saw eye to eye on many issues and it is in the firm belief of myself and from what I noticed, the Yemeni leadership, that this takeover will end up beneficial in the end.”The people remain skeptical however as just a year before the invasion, massive new pockets of oil were found inside the small dictatorship. Many claim that Basalt and his followers simply wanted to take advantage of the new oil and having unrivaled access to the Red Sea.
Foreign Minister Outed for CorruptionThe story of Foreign Minister Hether Panné has rocked the nation in recent weeks as new and startling corruption charges have caused many to question how she even got her job in the first place. President Basalt refused to comment on the matter and many in the government are rather silent about it.
However just hours earlier news has come that Panné was fired from her position as Foreign Minister. Claims say that she was forced or by Parliament leader, Linsey Bashar, and others amongst the leading Coalition,
Birlik Koalisyonu [The Unity Coalition]. When asked about the matter, Panné rather violently pushed one of the camera men to the ground, causing him to fall down the flight of stairs leading to the parliament building. Police arrested her for assault.
The Investigation into what is now known as the “Skjope Crisis”, due to it beginning in the Macedonian Capital, is currently ongoing by the Judiciary and her case is expected to make it to the High Council for evaluation.
